New Evidence of the Coma Supernova Framing the Birth of Christ

This blog post provides an example of Modern Astronomy and Astrophysics informing and supporting certain aspects of Ancient Astronomy, specifically surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ. With the utilization of modern analysis of images of the Coma Cluster from the Hubble Space Telescope, and the Dragonfly Telephoto Array in New Mexico, we have assembled scientific evidence in support of the 2000+ year old Coma Supernova constituting the General Sign of the Celestial Prelude historically documented by ancient luminaries like Ptolemy and Hipparchus, but unsupported beyond this until now. We will start with an excerpt from my previous articles at [try-god.com] on the Celestial Prelude, setting the context of the Coma Supernova and the Hebrew Calendar.

“The practice of Intercalation of months kept the holidays of Passover, Pentecost and Rosh Hashanah, just prior to the Feast of Tabernacles in the month of Tishri, in their proper seasons of early Spring, the beginning of Summer and at Summer’s end. This “11-day gap between the solar and lunar years expands to a period of seven months over this 19-year lunar cycle. In the Calendar of Israel a total of seven years (3rd 6th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th and 19th) during this 19-year lunar cycle, would normally contain an extra month of Adar Sheni.”¹

With every 19 solar years plus two hours, the Sun and Moon return to meet each other at the same appointed time and place in the sky. The saros, however, consists of 19 eclipse years, which is only 18 solar years plus eleven days. An eclipse year thus consists of 346.62 solar days, which is equal to 11.738 lunations. When we divide the saros by 11.738, we get 1.618, (or phi),² accurate to 4 digits! Since the Sun intersects a lunar Node two times every 346.62-day eclipse year, we find the cycle of the celestial rendezvous of the Sun and Moon also governed by the phi ratio. The Hebrew calendar also unifies these luni-solar cycles according to phi, in concert with Israel’s sacred fifty-year cycle of Jubilees. This is evident because there are 618 lunations in any given 50-year Jubilee cycle. Thus, as the Hebrew calendar shows the perfect correlation of the sacred and secular celestial cycles, governing the rhythms of a myriad terrestrial and cosmic cycles, we find more evidence of the signature of God the Creator and His dominion of light reflected in the heavens, the Source behind all kingdoms of earthly life. This exhibits the perfect relation between the civil [lunar], and sacred[solar] years of the Calendar of Israel, in the larger context of precession. These related sacred and secular standards are also unified in the promised seed, Jesus Christ as the Priest–King of Israel, and light of the world presiding over all circadian rhythms and other aspects of the kingdoms of terrestrial life.

As we briefly mentioned earlier, the roots of the word for saros are much older than Meton’s application of the term. In fact it goes back at least as far as ancient Sumeria, because the Sumerian name for the great lunar eclipse cycle was also called the saros. This word traces through to the basic Babylonian unit of measure, also called a “sar,” showing ancient elements of the sacred celestial rule of measure. This period of lunation consisting of 18 years & 11, (10.96) days, was utilized by the Chaldean priests to predict eclipses. Wallis Budge supported this notion when he stated; “the Babylonians were a nation of stargazers observing the appearances of the moon, eclipses, & planets etc.” This was the culture that produced the Magi, and speaks volumes on not only their astronomical expertise, but also their focus while watching the heavens for the celestial signs revealing the birth of Jesus Christ the promised seed. The Babylonians also had a period of 3600 (60 x 60) years that they called a saros. Here again we see the Sexegesimal pattern behind the organization of the heavens, including the cycle of the Moon joining Saturn and Jupiter every 60 years in their celestial dance. Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions exhibit the essence of this “base 60” numerical system as part of its function as a cornerstone of Biblical cosmology, providing the context of the Celestial Prelude marking the birth of Christ. Additionally, it gives us a window on the “celestial mechanism” that frames all Creation, the precession of the equinoxes. This will be fully explained in the Specific signs of the Celestial Prelude. Both of these planets frame the ancient solar system as its two outer-most naked-eye planets, while opening a window on precession. It also shows a unity of Saturn’s 29.5-year orbit with the 29.5-day lunar cycle on a year-day basis. This is half the Sexegesimal order of the solar system, formatted in the orbits of these two gas giants, the other half being Jupiter’s near 12-year cycle spending a year in each zodiacal sign, even as the Sun spends a month in each of the 12 signs. The solar half of the order is based on a division of 60, by twelve: (12 x 5), and the lunar half by 30 [30 x 2], both multiples of sixty. This is part of the numerical order of the solar system as it was patterned by the Creator according to the phi ratio.

The Babylonian “Sar” is doubtlessly related to the Hebrew word [*H8269] of the same spelling, meaning; “prince, captain, chief, ruler, leader, head.” The word has retained this meaning even in modern usage, as in the Tsar of all the Russias. As a testimony to what may have been based on the first human language, “Aesar” is a word for “God” in both, Icelandic and Irish, “Osar” in Egypt like “Osiris” was the prince. The English word “sir” and the Roman “Ceasars” are also traceable to this root. It is used in Daniel 10:13 & 20, referring the archangel Michael who dispatched the fallen angel (Daimon) who opposed the messenger angel that God sent to answer Daniel’s prayer. In Isa. 9:6, one of the great prophecies of the birth of Jesus Christ promised seed, used of the Messiah as Sar-Shalom; the Prince of Peace, the one who brings peace to all Creation [Eph. 2:11-18]. It is additionally used of Prince Moses in Exodus 2:16.

According to Hislop, The Chaldean version of this word; “Zer,” meaning “to encompass” gives us not only the English basis for: “Zero signified by a circle among the Chaldeans,” but also Zero; “the seed.” Thus, it relates to the Hebrew word zera [*H2233] used in reference to Jesus Christ’s birth- promised seed in Genesis 3:15. To this end the Chaldean word for the “woman’s promised seed” was “Zero-ashta,” that also formed the basis of the name Zoroaster. We should note that in the writings of Zoroastrianism in the Zend-Avesta, the predicted return of Zoroaster as a savior who would renew all existence in preparation for the Last Judgment, was prophesied. These references to the woman’s promised seed point directly to the general sign of the Celestial Prelude. Hislop also notes:

“In almost all nations, not only was a great god known under the name of Zero or Zer; the seed, and a great goddess under the name of Ashta or Ishta; the woman, but the great god Zero is frequently characterized by some epithet which implies that he is The only One.” ³

This evidence provides a strong basis for a direct correlation to the decan Coma, the seed who was the desired of the nations, especially in view of the Supernova in this child’s [Christos] head [pictured below on the Dendera Zodiac] marked as the promised seed, during the general sign of the Celestial Prelude. The implication that the promised seed of the woman would be the only one, speaks to the truth that Christ is the Alpha and Omega, or the first and last way God made available for the redemption of Mankind. Hislop goes on to say: “As he who by the Chaldeans was regarded as the great Seed was looked upon as the Sun incarnate, and as the emblem of the Sun was a circle, the hieroglyphic relation between zero; “the circle,” and zero; “the seed” was easily established.”⁴

The Biblical references to Christ associated with the Sun as the “light of the world,” the “Sun of Righteousness” [Mal. 4:2] and in Psalm 19:4-6, are only a few of many such references. Thus, in the case of the promised seed, Zero-ashta, the religion of the Magi served as a vessel for many principles and astronomical precepts, that led Mankind to the birth of Jesus Christ as the Promised Seed of the Woman, [Gen. 3:15-16].

Ignatius, one of the Church Fathers and the Bishop of Antioch, in about 69 AD, records that, “At the appearance of the Lord a star shone forth brighter than all other stars.” If we are careful not to confuse this reference with the planet Jupiter, we can deduce that this supernova was still visible almost 200 years after it was first seen as the celestial marker of the general time frame of Jesus’ birth. Thus, the Celestial Prelude proposes that this Coma Supernova that took place in the head of the infant “Christos,” nursed by his mother was the General Sign marking the time of the Messiah’s birth. Seiss has some viable historical references on this point:

“Hipparchus about one hundred twenty-five years before Christ, observed it [Coma supernova] as a new star, and was led by it to draw up his record of stars. Ptolemy, about one hundred and fifty years after Christ, refers to it as having been observed by Hipparchus, but as having become so faint as hardly to be any longer discernible.”⁵ (parenthesis and emphasis mine)

Also during this same period referred to by Ptolemy above, shekels from Judea struck during the period of the second revolt, [132 AD.] bear the design of a bright star over the Jerusalem Temple, called Bar Kaukab, or Son of the Star. This would have also been a logical reference to the supernova that appeared in the head of the woman’s son in Coma‘s lap, the desired of the nations, perhaps even a providential reference to Jesus as the true temple. The decan of Coma is pictured below as the three bright stars forming the inverted “L” shape, that significantly contains the North Galactic Pole, located 5 degrees west of Beta Coma. This is interesting in light of the original star picture associated with this decan, as seen in the Dendera Zodiac, of a mother holding her Son in her lap, known as “the Desired of the Nations,” [Figure 1, above]. The close proximity of the Northern Galatic Pole, recalls the imagery of Cepheus “the crowned king” who regally sits astride the Celestial Pole star polaris, picturing Christ seated in heaven at the right hand of the Heavenly Father [Eph. 1:20-23].

The Magi would have witnessed both this new star shining brightly in Coma, a decan of Virgo, while Jupiter was in retrograde, standing still on the Meridian in Virgo, in December of 2 BC. The general sign of our Celestial Prelude thus harmonizes with the specific signs, as the Magi headed south from Jerusalem, their visit with Herod just concluded, towards Bethlehem in search of the promised seed. This also explains why the Magi were the only group to recognize these specific celestial signs of the Messiah’s birth, because the general sign was a fixture in Coma for about 200 years prior to this period. The typical person wouldn’t have noticed anything out of the ordinary in the heavens, because it would not stand out unless coupled with the knowledge of the specific signs, bringing the Magi to Israel in the first place. This is another reason why the Magi were so joyful when they saw “his star,” Jupiter over Bethlehem. This scenario of what the Magi beheld in the skies over Bethlehem in December of 2 BC, is depicted in the banner of this article above, and covered in detail in our website article on the Skies over Bethlehem. In Numbers 24:17, when Jacob is referred to in Balaam’s prophecy, it refers not only to the seed of Jacob, but also to the land promised to him as an inheritance, in his Covenant with God [Gen. 15:18]. Rolleston has interesting remarks regarding this:

“The Magi forewarned that the star must appear over Jacob, over his inheritance, would see that star in Coma passed over the center of that inheritance: but as it would also appear to pass vertically over every part of it that was nearly in the Latitude of Jerusalem, they could not at once fix on the spot of the Messiah’s birth, therefore they went to inquire; the Latitude, as it were, being given by the star, the longitude by the prophecy.“⁶

Here we see the witness of the stars, and the Scriptures, working together to bring the Magi to the toddler Jesus, because their alert observation of “his star” brought them to Jerusalem and the scribes declaration from Micah 5:2, when Herod questioned them, sent the Magi to Bethlehem. While en route they witnessed the heavens come alive with the proof that their historic journey was not in vain, because they saw both the Coma Supernova, and Jupiter in Virgo in the same skies over Bethlehem. This puts both elements of the General and Specific Signs of the Celestial Prelude in the same skies observed by the Magi leading them to the birth place of Jesus Christ.

Some Professional Astronomers following my Try-God Blog and website have doubted the veracity of the historical evidence of the ancient Coma Supernova framing the birth of Christ, and have challenged this point, citing the lack of physical and scientific proof of this event. With this in mind, we present the following research that has come out in the last year or so, providing key astronomical research supporting the thesis of this ancient Coma Supernova. The following are excerpts from a Sky & Telescope article from November 2014 by Monica Young, a professional astronomer by training, and web editor/contributor for Sky & Telescope Magazine.

“Pieter van Dokkum (Yale University) and colleagues took a unique look at Coma through the Dragonfly Telephoto Array, eight Canon cameras armed with telephoto lenses. The Dragonfly is designed to find faint, fuzzy blobs, but what its images revealed surprised the team. The research team included astronomers from San Jose State University, the University of Toronto, and the University of California-Santa Cruz. The team made its discovery by combining results from the Dragonfly Telephoto Array — which van Dokkum helped to invent — and the W.M. Keck Observatory’s 10-meter Keck I telescope. The team’s observations wrapped up in May, but it wasn’t until later in the summer that van Dokkum finally got around to looking at the images he’d gathered. In them, he noticed some faint, fuzzy blobs. Forty-seven blobs, to be precise. They looked rather large, and they really weren’t supposed to be there – at least, not according to the records keeping track of galaxies in the cluster.

Once these blobs were inspected they found them to be “dark Galaxies.” On Coma’s outskirts lurk 47 galaxies similar in size to the Milky Way — but with 1,000 times fewer stars. To survive in crowded Coma, these dark galaxies must contain 98%+ dark matter to hold themselves together, much higher than the fraction in the universe at large (73%).”

The galaxies’ size depends on their distance, so to make sure this result wasn’t just a trick of perspective, the team had to make sure these galaxies really belonged to the Coma cluster, more than 320 million light-years away. Determining cluster membership was a challenge because the objects are far too faint to study in the usual ways, such as taking a spectrum to determine their distance. Nonetheless, “van Dokkum and his co-authors make quite a convincing case,” says Mark den Brok (University of Utah).

To estimate the galaxies’ distance, the team traced the blobs’ distribution on the sky. It matched that of the Coma Cluster’s galaxies, suggesting the 47 objects were indeed a part of the cluster. Then, the team again turned to archival images — this time, those shot by Earth’s sharpest eye in the sky, the Hubble Space Telescope, which had observed the Coma Cluster many times before. Completely by chance, Hubble had captured three of the faint galaxies. One of the images was good enough to work with. In that image, there’s a faint, blurry galaxy hanging out with Coma’s classic inhabitants. But the galaxy’s individual stars aren’t resolved by Hubble, which suggests the blob is very far away indeed. The team simulated Hubble images taken at varying distances, and calculated that in order for the individual stars to be invisible, the galaxy needed to be at least 160 million light-years away.

Which means, the blob – and most of its friends – are probably in the Coma Cluster. “We conclude that most or all of the low surface brightness galaxies are, in fact, at the distance of the Coma cluster and are resolved in the Dragonfly data because they are intrinsically very large,” the authors write.

The authors initially expected the galaxies to be distributed randomly, as they would be if they lay in the foreground near the Milky Way. Instead, the galaxies cluster around the center of the image in the cluster’s periphery. Suspecting the objects might be clumps of galaxies too small for Dragonfly to resolve, in the team’s search through archival images of the region shot by a telescope that should be able to parse giant blobs into smaller, constituent objects. The discovery of a serendipitous Hubble image of one of the galaxies supported the team’s case, den Brok says, definitively showing that it doesn’t have the traits of a nearby dwarf galaxy. Starless Galaxies

Simulations that track the evolution of large-scale cosmic structure suggest that even normal galaxies start out with three times more star-building material than they develop into stars. So whatever process works to limit star formation in normal galaxies is working particularly well in these dark matter-rich galaxies.

“Our simulations have shown that one way to limit star formation so drastically is to use the energy stars produce when they blow up as supernovae,” says Greg Stinson (Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, Germany). “It turns out that this disruption leads directly to galaxies that look like the ones van Dokkum is seeing.”

“How did such bizarre and difficult-to-detect galaxies arise? Team member Pieter van Dokkum, astronomer at Yale University, suspects the galaxies may be failed Milky Ways—big galaxies that were headed for brilliance but lost their gas before forming many stars, perhaps because supernova explosions catapulted gas out of the galaxies and into the parent Coma cluster. They also must harbor lots of dark matter to hold together; otherwise the gravitational pull of other galaxies in the cluster would rip them apart.”

“I was actually very much relieved to see Prof. van Dokkum’s paper,” Stinson adds. Dark matter simulations have been producing galaxies with exactly the size and matter distribution that van Dokkum’s team observed, but such galaxies are naturally difficult to observe.”

It’s ironic that dark matter-rich galaxies were discovered in Coma, the birthplace of dark matter theory. Observations of the same cluster in 1933 helped Fritz Zwicky (Caltech) first conceive of the invisible matter that shapes the large-scale structure of the universe. Zwicky was also involved in Supernova discoveries in Coma during the 50’s and early 60’s. Now ever-deeper observations continue to help astronomers understand dark matter’s role in the galaxy.

Seeing this research on the Coma Cluster was intriguing to me. What if these diffuse galaxies could somehow support the history we had already seen on the Coma Supernova? Since these diffuse starless galaxies in the Coma Cluster were so limited in their star-making material, and a known cause of this is an exploding supernova in the region, would have depleted the energy galaxies used to form these stars, then we might be on to an explanation, not only of these diffuse galaxies in the Coma Cluster, but also provide modern scientific evidence of this ancient Coma Supernova. But, to more conclusively link a Nova/Supernova to these diffuse galaxies, we need to know more about how Nova explosions occur in general. Since this initial discovery of 47 Ultra Diffuse Galaxies [UDG’s] in the Coma Cluster, by this team, additional research has revealed over 800 added UDG’s in the same Coma Cluster. The following reference documents this.

STONY BROOK, NY, June 22, 2015 – A team of researchers from Stony Brook University and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) have discovered 854 “ultra-dark galaxies” in the Coma Cluster by analyzing data from the 8.2-meter SubaruTelescope. The new discovery, published in the June 2015 editionof the Astrophysical Journal Letters, surpasses the 2014 discovery of 47 dark galaxies by more than 800 and suggests that galaxy clusters are the key environment for the evolution of these mysterious dark galaxies.

“The findings suggests that these galaxies appear very diffuse and are very likely enveloped by something very massive, “said Jin Koda, PhD, principal investigator of the study and Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University.

“We are beginning to form some ideas about how they [Dark galaxies] were born and it’s remarkable they have survived at all,” van Dokkum said. “They are found in a dense, violent region of space filled with dark matter and galaxies whizzing around, so we think they must be cloaked in their own invisible dark matter ‘shields’ that are protecting them from this intergalactic assault.”

This discovery can become very important for modern astronomy because it may lead to revision of fundamental theories.

“A central tenet of galaxy formation is that “as we count the number of stars, we can predict the amount of dark matter” holding the galaxy together,” said van Dokkum, as quoted by the Christian Science Monitor.

“If you have two galaxies, the Milky Way and one of these things, which have a very different number of stars but the same amount of dark matter, that simple idea doesn’t hold,” he added. “They [UDGs] prove to be “a Rosetta Stone for galaxy formation,” concluded Jin Koda.

This new research provides added probable evidence for the Coma Supernova documented by the ancients Hipparchus and Ptolemy, which from their historical records states that the Coma Supernova was visible to the naked eye for at least a period of about 275 years.

In summary then, the key points regarding the general sign of the Celestial Prelude are first, this Supernova in Coma, set the general time frame in which the Magi were to expect the specific signs surrounding the birth of Christ. Secondly, when this general sign is separated from the set of specific signs of Jupiter-Saturn triple conjunctions, the confusion clouding the “Star of Bethlehem,” for the most part dissolves. Thirdly, When the Magi beheld the heavens above Bethlehem they witnessed both the bright Coma Supernova in the child’s head, while Jupiter shone down standing still in the heavens in retrograde motion in Virgo, during the Winter Solstice, when the Sun was standing still also, clearly marking the birth-place of Jesus Christ.

Summary of the 2015 Heavenly Signs bracketed by Venus-Mars Conjunctions

The Biblical Astronomy of the Venus-Mars Conjunction in February 2015 was a unique heavenly sign, the first of two Venus-Mars conjunctions in 2015. The first Venus-Mars union from Feb. 21-22 in Pisces, called attention to the Spring Equinox on March 20th/Nisan 1, while the second Venus-Mars conjunction takes place November 3rd, 2015 in Virgo. This blog post serves as a brief summary of the 2015 celestial activity bracketed between these Venus-Mars conjunctions.

We noted the first conjunction of Venus-Mars on Feb. 21-22, was located on the ecliptic near where the Sun marked the Spring Equinox on March 20th., 2015. This pointed out the opening of Ecclesiastical year on the Hebrew Calendar, on March 20th/Nisan 1 with a singular Total Solar Eclipse at the North Pole. Having the Sabbatical year marked not only by planetary conjunctions, but also with the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, certainly distinguishes the Biblical Astronomy this Sabbatical year above the norm in the Celestial Intelligent Design of the Creator’s temporal order. In multiple Blood Moon Blogs this year we have compared the heavenly signs of 3 to 1 BC surrounding the birth of Christ, with those of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, focusing on the Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in both periods.

The fact that there were also 2 Venus-Mars unions framing the central Jupiter-Venus union between March 31st, and Dec. 9th, 2 BC, marking the birth of Christ, sets a precedent that we found also in 2015, prior to the glory of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. In this light, it was with great interest that we discovered between the 2 Venus-Mars conjunctions of 2015, 3 Jupiter-Venus unions occurred in Leo, followed by Jupiter-Venus unions in Virgo, in both 2016 and 2017. As we view the heavenly signs marking the birth of Christ from 3 to 1 BC, we pointed out a series of parallels between these signs, and the current period concluded in the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015. By focusing on the specific planetary conjunctions that set the pattern in marking the birth of Christ and looking for these signs repeating in the modern context of the Blood Moons, we follow the Magi’s example, that should lead us to the victorious Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

These two Venus -Mars conjunctions of 2015 effectively frame the crescendo of the Blood Moon Tetrad in 2015, between Feb. 21-22 and Nov. 3rd. This brought to mind some similar heavenly signs involving Venus and Mars surrounding the birth of Christ. Between the March 31st, 2 BC Venus-Mars-Saturn conjunction and the Venus-Mars union of 12-9–2 BC, some key heavenly signs marking the birth of Christ enlightened the heavens. Since the Venus-Mars conjunctions of 2015 bracket the crescendo of the Blood Moon Tetrad in the Sabbatical year of 2015, we see Venus-the bright and Morning Star unified with Mars, the Warrior Archangel Michael, in their battle against the forces of darkness. Even as the Dragon attempted to take out the promised seed of Israel, Jesus Christ at his birth, so the persecution of Israel has continued, as this series of Blood Moon Tetrads has witnessed over the last 200 centuries, especially since the rebirth of the state of Israel marked by the modern Blood Moon Tetrad of 1948-1949. Ever since the prophecy of the Promised Seed first took place in [Gen. 3:14-15] spiritual warfare has been waged [Rev. 12:7] between the Serpent’s forces of darkness and the Seed of the Woman, coming to points of crisis as seen in the dual fulfillment of [Revelation 12:1-4].

During our 2015 posts, we have referred to this dual significance in end times prophecy of [Rev. 12] as it relates both to the sufferings and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, in his ministry as prophet, priest and King to present his kingdom to Israel, that was rejected 2000 years ago, and now is being revisited as we complete the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014–2015 with heavenly signs presaging his glorious Second Coming, to install his kingdom of everlasting righteousness and peace. Figure B below, depicts Mary crowned with the 12 Stars/Tribes of the Hebrew Zodiac [Gen. 37: 9-11] holding the infant Jesus, with the Crescent Moon at her feet. Here Jesus embodies the Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet as seen on Sept. 11th, 3 BC in the heavenly signs marking the Birth of Jesus Christ. [Figure C.]

Modern stargazers have at times struggled to fit the crown of 12 stars around Virgo’s head, with the heavenly signs marking his birth and Second Coming, but as Gen. 37 tells us in Joseph’s dream, the Sun, Moon and 11 Stars bowed down to Joseph as his 11 brothers bowed at his feet in Egypt, fulfilling his dream. Both the Great Sphinx and Joseph’s Dream show the 3-fold Solar, Lunar and Stellar aspects of the Hebrew Calendar, and as we view Virgo Crowned with the 12 Stars/Signs/Tribes of the Hebrew Zodiac in the context of the heavenly signs taking place in Virgo and Leo-the elements of the Great Sphinx, the truths of the Celestial Sphinx come into focus.

There have been 3 Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions in 2015, all in Leo, with additional Jupiter-Venus unions coming in Virgo in 2016-17. These sign typify Jupiter-the King Planet uniting with Venus-the Bright and Morning Star, in Leo the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, [Rev. 5:5]. As there were 3 Jupiter-Venus unions marking the birth of Christ in 3-2 BC, so this triple union of Jupiter-Venus aligned with Regulus in Leo, reflects a similar spiritual light in 2015. In fact the Rev. 12 heavenly sign: the [Sun clothing Virgo with the Crescent Moon at her feet] on September 17th, 2015 is announced by Mercury-Gabriel just outside the womb area of Virgo above Spica/Al Zimach, 2 years in advance of the repeat of the Great Wonder in Heaven, on Sept. 23rd 2017!

As we compare this to the heavenly signs of The Celestial Prelude, marking the birth of Christ, there was a key planetary alignment and a Blood Moon both in Pisces, exactly two years apart on Sept. 15th, 7 BC and the same date in 5 BC. These heavenly signs not only directed the Magi’s attention to the sign Virgo, clothed with the Sun, but also the lunar eclipse on September 15th of 5 BC, establishing that the Magi should be watchful of lunar activity marking Christ’s birth. This framed the 42 minute period between Sunset and Moon-set on the only day of the year when Virgo “was clothed with the Sun and the Moon at her feet, as prescribed in Rev. 12:1. It is thus quite significant leading up to the Return of Christ, that another two year period from the Day of Atonement: 9-23-2015 to the Rev. 12:1 sign on 9-23-2017, is being marked in the heavens, as the Birth of Christ. Just as Jupiter was recognized by the Magi as “His Star” [Matt. 2:2] at the birth of Christ, so Jupiter the King Planet is actually being “birthed” during the two weeks leading up to this sign of “the Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet,” on 9-23-2017. As we can see, the parallels between the Celestial Prelude of the Birth of Christ and his glorious Return are eye-opening!

However, there will be more heavenly signs involving Jupiter-Venus after this, leading up to the birthing of Jupiter in retrograde motion in Virgo. The following dates review the Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in Leo during the Hebrew Sabbatical year, leading into the Jubilee year of 2015-2016:

The 3 Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions marking the birth of Christ compare to the three Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions of 2015, however there were additional heavenly signs involving Jupiter–Venus marking his birth. On August 27th and 28th reflected in the chart above and the graphic below, there was a massing of planets including Jupiter-Venus, followed by a planetary alignment of Jupiter, Venus, Mars, with the king star Regulus in Leo, signify the Crown of 12 stars above the head of the Woman. This planetary alignment in Leo, along with the Rev. 12 signs marking the birth of Christ [Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet] will be repeated again on September 23rd, 2017!

As we compare these heavenly signs around the birth of Christ with the current signs of the Blood Moon Tetrad leading to 2017, we note that even as Jupiter moves in its annual retrograde motion entering Virgo in August 26-27th 2016, for a total of 294 days, taking us into 2017, it only spends 40 days in Virgo’s mid-section, symbolizing the birthing of the Messianic Kingdom. Jupiter marks its entrance into Virgo with the second Jupiter-Venus union of 2016. This is worthy of our attention indicating a key event with the King Planet–Jupiter related to his virgin Bride–Virgo/Israel leading to his glorious Second Coming. This alerts us to be watchful of the Sun Clothing Virgo leading us directly to the signs of 9-23-2017!

As we have noted, the Modern Blood Moon Tetrads in 1948-49 and 1967-68, have documented the restoration of Israel, first as a nation-state, and secondly with their capital city of Jerusalem being restored to them in 1967, both marked by Blood Moon Tetrads. The 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad points to the third stage of Israel and Jerusalem’s restoration, which is the Temple itself. As God departed from the Temple and Jerusalem in stages, seen in Ezekiel 10, so He returns in the stages we are witnessing in the modern Blood Moon Tetrads on these dates in 1949-50 and 1967-68. As a side note this also establishes that the Apostles received the gift Holy Spirit in the form of Speaking in Tongues, on the Day of Pentecost when they were required to be in the Temple, not in their sleeping quarters-the “upper room.” The Temple was the center of spiritual activity for Israel as a nation, and is the only logical place for this prophecy of Christ to be fulfilled. Thus we are watching with great interest what transpires concerning rebuilding of the Temple of Jerusalem, and the prophesied reinstatement of its Daily Sacrifices for Israel.

The events playing out in today’s Middle East region, show a number of nations resembling the Gog-Magog alliance of Bible [Ezek. 38-39. 38:8-16] Prophecy [Russia, Iran, Turkey, etc.] conducting military operations around Israel, that have vowed to remove Israel from the maps of the middle east. This is setting the stage for the end of days-the final events of human history, leading up to the glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. All this is taking place before our eyes as we see Russian airstrikes in Syria and Iraq increase while the US influence continues its flagging decline under the Obama Administration. God however will protect and fight for Israel even as He has all throughout Biblical history and all the efforts of mankind to destroy Israel will come to nothing, except their own destruction. After all Who can fight against the Almighty and win? Figure D below shows the nations prophesied by Ezekiel and other Biblical prophets, to come against Israel in the end times.

As the 2015 Blood Moon Tetrad has concluded, a key aspect of Joel’s Prophecy [Acts 2:20] are being fulfilled before our eyes.

Acts 2:20 “The Sun shall be turned into darkness and the Moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord Come.”

It was not a coincidence the Apostle Peter quoted the words of Joel in the preamble of his Pentecost sermon; [Acts 2:17-20] opening the Age of Grace. This period of God’s awesome blessing which brought us the availability of the spiritual new birth, was kept secret by God since the World began, [Rom. 16:25-27, Eph. 3:2-7]. Now we stand at the precipice of the fulfillment of this wonderful Age, the end of which Peter prophesied at its inception, whose conclusion will witness the ultimate victory over the forces of darkness told in the heavens by these specific celestial signs. The series of partial/total solar eclipses on the Lord’s Feasts and holy days, along with the series of Blood Moon Tetrads leading to the concluding Blood Moons we have just witnessed, initiates the completion of the set of preliminary heavenly signs that Joel prophesied would take place. Since there are no more Blood Moon Lunar or Solar eclipses scheduled to fall on Hebrew Feast days for the next 500+ years, there has never been a time in human history where all the prophetic requirements leading to the End of Days has been in place like they are now. Joel told us these signs would occur “before the great and notable day of the Lord,” referring to the long-awaited return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Recognition of the specifics of how the second fulfilling of [Rev. 12:1-4] comes to pass, along with the key planetary conjunctions and other heavenly signs, involved in the completion of this scenario, will tell the tale of the Biblical Astronomy of the End of Days, as we countdown to 2017.

Biblical Astronomy and End times Prophecy of the Dendera Zodiac Axes

As we have seen from our August blog posts on the Biblical Astronomy of the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx, major elements of the Giza Plateau have much to say regarding Biblical Astronomy in general, and the birth and Second Coming of Christ. The Dendera Zodiac is another key aspect of Biblical Archaeo-Astronomy on the Giza Plateau that adds important elements to this narrative. The following discourse is taken from a excerpt on our [try-god.com] website study on the Ancient Egyptian Star Names of the Dendera Zodiac. A key point of this study plainly shows the obvious parallels between the themes and star names of the ancient Egyptian and Hebrew Zodiacs. This evidence stands on its own in support as a powerful witness to the themes of Biblical Archaeo-Astronomy and the Celestial Gospel. But this is not the whole story concerning the Dendera Zodiac. As is the case with any zodiac or star map, the axes of the Cardinal Directions must be known to provide our bearings. It is the lines of the equinox and Solstice, that always show us the Cardinal Points of the compass to the North, South, East and West. Recognition of the axes of the Dendera Zodiac provides even further evidence supporting our case, along with some unexpected eye-opening revelations. Lets take a closer look at these axes.

The Dendera Zodiac records the clockwise motion of the Sun focused primarily on the Sun’s annual cycle through the 12 houses of the ecliptic during the year. This represents one level of truth related in the Celestial Gospel, but there is more. As we mentioned in the full website article, there is strong evidence that the ancient Hebrews and Egyptians were also aware of the slower precession of the equinoxes showing knowledge of the Sun’s longer counter-clockwise motion on the ecliptic. The Dendera Zodiac provides fascinating proof of this, corroborating the themes already expressed in the Sun’s annual cycle. This structure is intended as a check and balance of sorts, supporting what we have already learned in the witness of the Sun’s annual cycle of the year. The Sun’s precessional movement is highlighted by which sign of the zodiac it rises in, at the spring equinox. For the last 2000+ years the Sun has risen in Pisces, thus we are presiding in final 200 years of the Piscean Age according to the Sun’s 2,160 year precessional cycle through each of the 12 zodiacal signs.

The Dendera Zodiaque, a bas-relief from southern Egypt on display at the Louvre, in Paris; this zodiacal artifact preserves in clear and coherent form the complete pattern of the World Ages. This unique zodiac encoded with ancient Egyptian astrological myth preserves the wisdom of forgotten ancestors who understood secrets of temporal symbolism. Designed as a time-dial, it reveals a precessional pattern of spiritual history over nearly 26 millennia. The Ages of Precession as seen in the chart below, are engraved on the Dendera Zodiac in pictures cross-linked to specific stars giving end time prophecies of a Coming Redeemer of Mankind, resulting in an over-arching agenda, and visionary overview of the Creator’s plan to restore humanity in fellowship with Himself. The Dendera Zodiac demonstrates secrets of the full 26,000-year cycle of precession, including end-time prophecies of the birth and return of Jesus Christ in the Piscean Age.

What do the axes of the Dendera Zodiac tell us? Axis E or what is called the fifth axis of Dendera’s Zodiac points ahead to our time, not only because its designers foretold of man’s Coming Redeemer, rather it prophecies of the end-times while highlighting the climax of the entire 25,920-years of the precession the equinoxes, where we inhabit the last 200 years of this cycle. What people have for the most part missed in the study of this ancient Egyptian Zodiac is that Axis E extends from the brightest star in Virgo–Spica–Al Zimach, on one end of this circular zodiac, through the Sign of the two fishes of Pisces at the other end of this Zodiac, uniquely linking the two elements. As Axis E specifically marks only one of the two stars on the entire Dendera Zodiac, it points out the critical import of the star Spica, signifying the Coming Lord Jesus Christ like no other Star in the heavens. As Axis E aligns with the 2 fish of Pisces in context of the precession of the equinoxes, it points out the precessional age where important signs involving Spica would occur both at the start and near the end of the Piscean Age. As we find in the chart below, the Age of Pisces links to the birth and return of Christ, in the Spiritual Age of Grace. We find these details illustrated in Figure 2. below.

Above is a close-up view of Axis E, the fifth axis on the Dendera Zodiac [DZ] . Others have omitted some remarkable features of this axis, which we elaborate on below.

The DZ registers the oldest known calender date, 4241 BC. On that basis alone, this artifact is unique in the world, but it also exhibits several remarkable features not found in any other ancient relic. It displays the comprehensive framework of precessional Ages foretelling of the end-times. Studies in archaeo-astronomy based on this framework correlate with Hindu, Egyptian, and Mayan calendars, so that cosmic timelines agree into the modern era. A Biblical version of this narrative shows this comprehensive framework of precessional ages, mirrored in the Creator’s plan of redemption, taking human history from its fall in Eden’s Original Paradise back to perfect fellowship with God, restored through the work of the prophesied Coming Redeemer-Jesus Christ, the Promised Seed., in a Final Paradise.

The following chart shows how these Precessional Ages correlate to Biblical Administrations, revealing a consistent progression of themes as God’s Plan of the Ages unfolds. This provides the overarching context for the plan of redemption and restoration of Mankind, through the redeeming work of Christ-the centerpiece of the Ages. This march of the precessional ages is recorded in the Dendera Zodiac, in a recognition of the axes built into its structure. The primary axes of the Dendera zodiac are indicated in Figure 3. below, from Schwaller De Lubicz’ seminal analysis of this zodiac, showing the coordination of the precession of the poles with the precession of the equinoxes. As the pole star recedes from the star Thuban of Draco to the current pole, in Polaris of Ursa Minor [little bear] in the center of the graphic, we can see the related precessional ages/years BC marked on the outer circle. The fact that the ancient Egyptians recognized these two poles and their inter-relationship itself, bespeaks a knowledge of the precession phenomena. The role of a Biblical Archaeo-astronomy approach to this subject, in one sense, separates the symbolic details linked with the idol entities of the Egyptian Star Religion, that corrupted the original unity they shared with the Hebrew Star names, as we have witnessed and documented in our full website study on this topic.

Astrology as had a vast corrupting influence on the idea of the precession of the equinoxes. By idolizing the zodiacal signs and blurring the link between the shorter clockwise, and much longer counter-clockwise solar cycles, Astrology not only lacks the ability to accurately distinguish when one precessional age ends and a new age begins, but a clear concept of the relationship between these two zodiacs [tropical and sidereal] is totally lacking of any standard, and no astrologer seems to agree as to the coordination of these two zodiacs. They are thus left in a free-for-all to subjectively determine their own systems according to whatever point they choose to emphasize. This led to chaos and confusion where divine celestial truths have been obscured. As the Sun moves on the ecliptic during the solar/tropical year, it moves through the backdrop of “fixed” stars [sidereal zodiac]. These two must be understood BOTH as separate celestial zodiacs, and together in a unified system. The annual solar year lacks meaning without the context of the stellar backdrop of the sidereal zodiac. On the other hand, the very long stellar zodiac lacks an application to the human lifespan associated with the shorter annual Sun cycle. As in the chart above, once the Biblical Administrations are tied to these celestial zodiacs, along with their related precessional ages, the Biblical import is clarified, and the purpose of the Heavens in God’s Plan for the Ages is further revealed, in light of the end-time prophecies of the birth and Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Once we adopt the understanding and perspective of the Biblical Patriarchs in the context of God’s Plan to restore His temporal order, we uncover the divine perspective, which has been hidden under the debris of man’s dilapidated idols in ancient history. As we recognize the story of the Coming Redeemer written in the heavens, at the root of all cultural sky myths, we can unearth the primal secrets and original symbolic truths of the Celestial Gospel in every culture, thus decoding the world monomyth.

As we can see in the graphic above, the receding pole star is mapped on the smaller inner circle, along a series of four points corresponding to four axes on the larger outer circle of the zodiac. This shows us the pole star in the specific precessional ages going back to the Age of Gemini, marked on the larger zodiacal circle by the symbol “II“, prior to 4380 BC, showing the transition from the Age of Gemini to the Age of Taurus. This depicts Gemini’s position at the early stages of Egyptian reckoning of precessional ages in Dendera’s zodiac, even though the latest version of the Temple of Dendera housing this zodiac, was rebuilt in the late Hellenistic period. As the outer circle’s counter-clockwise movement progresses, we come next to the sign of Taurus the Bull, marked by one of the main axes of the larger circle in solid lines above. On the full circle of the zodiac, Scorpius is directly across from Taurus, forming one of the main axes, while Leo the Lion is across from Aquarius forming the other. This gives us a picture of the main zodiacal axes during the precessional Age of Taurus, as marked by the axes of the Dendera zodiac above. We find the Biblical version of this in Numbers 24.

Numbers 24:7-9 7 He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. 8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of a unicorn: he shall eat up the nations, his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. 9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesses thee and cursed is he that curses thee. [Gen. 49:9-10]

Here we see the Biblical recognition of the same celestial axes mapped out in the Dendera Zodiac. Numbers 24:7 refers to Aquarius’ water buckets, at one end of the axis, whose other end is occupied by Leo, the Great Lion seen in verse 9. Verse 8 refers to the Unicorn [reem] that refers to the wild bull of Taurus, opposite the Scorpion on the second main axis, seen in Figure 4 below. The context of Numbers 24 lays out the the tents and tabernacles of Israel [Num. 24:5] as the pattern of the 12 tribes of Israel mapped out in relation to the 12 signs of the Biblical Zodiac. [Gen. 49]

In his work Skies of Memory, John Lash summarizes evidence he found of the ancient Egyptian awareness of precession as follows:

“The [Dendera] Zodiac has 2 North poles: one located in the Jackal, known to us as the Little Bear, and the other in Tu-art, the Hippo, known to us as Draco, the celestial Dragon. There are two poles because, as we know, the earth’s axis is tilted 23.5 degrees relative to its plane of motion around the Sun. The North pole points currently to the Jackal as at Dendera, but not to precisely the same place in the Jackal. This is because the terrestrial axis slowly rotates around the axis of the earth’s orbital plane, ever centered in Draco. This long-term wobble marks the cycle of 25,920 years. The inclusion of both poles in the Dendera Zodiac may be plain evidence that precession was known to the ancient Egyptians.”^{8 [emphasis mine]}

The Hippopotamus at the North Pole referenced by Lash, is pictured below with a crocodile riding his back, reminiscent of the description of Behemoth in Job 40 and Leviathan in Job 41. As these figures are symbolically identified with Draco, their description and astronomical function comes to light.

Lash was not alone in making reference to the axes of the Dendera Zodiac, As mentioned above, Schwaller De Lubicz is another scholar who argued in favor of the Egyptian knowledge of Precession. He points out 2 hieroglyphs on the outer rim of Dendera’s Zodiac that mark a line between Aries the Ram and Taurus the Bull, which correlates to a date around 2100 BC, indicating how the Egyptians wanted to mark the transition in precessional ages, in this case from the Age of Taurus to that of Aries.

“The mere fact that the cult of the Bull [Apis/Mentu] preceded the cult of the Ram [Amon] in Egypt, and that the dates of these cults correspond to the equinoctial positions of their constellations at the appropriate time-approximately 4000 and 2000 BC-is conclusive,“⁹

According to Schwaller DeLubicz, that the ancient Egyptians were aware of and applied their knowledge of precession in this manner is strong evidence of their knowledge of it. Lash continues regarding Dendera’s axes as follows:

“As I studied the overall design of the zodiac I realized there was a 5th, as yet undetected axis. My attention was first drawn to its presence by the figure of Virgo the grain goddess identified with Isis, who holds up a stalk of wheat in a gesture known from Sumerian sources as early as the third millenium BC.”¹⁰

We should recognize [Fig.2 above] Virgo’s wheat stalk as her brightest star, known today as Spica, but in the Hebrew as [Al Zemach] meaning the branch, which is one of the prominent titles of the Promised Seed, or the offspring of God, in the Old Testament [Jer. 23:5-6]. What is unique about this as it relates to Dendera’s Zodiac is that Spica/Al Zemach is only one of two individual stars marked on this entire star map, the other being Sirius. As Lash further elaborates on this point:

“Sirius, is placed between the horns of the sacred cow on axis B, and Spica, the star traditionally identified with Virgo’s sheaf of wheat. This led me to wonder what an axis inscribed from Spica through the Jackal pole would look like…”¹¹ Lash makes note of some specific observations in connection with what we can refer to as the “Spica Axis” on Dendera’s zodiac that are worthy of our attention:

“First, the axis culminates bisecting the altar mounted by 4 ram’s heads situated on the periphery of the zodiac. This seems to interlock its internal features, represented by the solar zodiac of ecliptic Constellations, with the lunar pattern of decans, 10 degree divisions of the Moon’s orbit running around the periphery. Second, Axis E [Spica axis] crosses Pisces at the tail of the lower or foremost fish exactly where the spring equinox occurs today. Third, Axis E, extends to Virgo’s feet marking the tail of Leo at a point that corresponds by precession to 10,500 BC. All in all, axis E marks the moment of precession when one full cycle ends and a new one begins.”^{12 [brackets & bolds mine]}

The first observation Lash points out is the recognition that the Spica axis bisects the Ram altar on the periphery of the zodiac. This points out not only the correlation between Spica/Al Zemach and the altar of sacrifice that the Promised Seed would endure to pay the price for forgiveness of sins, but also may refer to the Arian Age preceding the Piscean Age in the cycle of precession. Lash also refers to the Luni-solar year on this ancient Egyptian star map. This provides additional evidence that these ancient astronomers were not only aware of precession, but synchronized the luni-solar year far in advance of what was previously thought by historians. This also fits with the use of the Sothic Calendar, based on the star Sirius, first in Egypt, showing another reason why they would chose to designate the star Sirius on their star map. Lash elaborates on his second observation as follows:

“As the total pattern came into focus, I recognized that axis E signals this moment of epochal transition in a vivid intentional way. Whoever designed Dendera was looking ahead in time to our age, when the spring equinox occurs under the tail of the western fish, because this is the time that the entire cycle culminates. With the spring equinox just at that position in Pisces, the axial cross locks into unique alignment with the Galaxy“.¹³

This comment by Lash indicates not only the precessional awareness of these ancient astronomers, but also how the precession of the equinoxes provides a window into this galactic alignment, in the Age of Pisces. We can see more evidence of this, in the axis indicated by Schwaller De Lubicz between Taurus and Aries. As this axis extends through the other side of the zodiac, it brackets Sagittarius and Scorpius in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, where the point of the Horseman’s Arrow is aimed into the dark rift of the galactic heart, as seen in the graphic above. To be clear on this point, the axes of the Dendera Zodiac seem to be designed to point any learned observers attention to the importance of Spica/Al Zemach and Sirius in decoding this star map. Relating to Spica, it is apparent that Axis E is pointed towards the Age of Pisces, which began with the birth of Jesus Christ the Promised seed, marked by 2 rare triple planetary conjunctions both involving Jupiter. The culmination of the Piscean Age is marked also by Axis E, at the other end of the Dendera Zodiac marking Sagittarius and Scorpius, pictured above on December 21st, 2012, even as it was marked by the Mayan astronomers, at the end of their 5th Age. This is an obvious eye-opener, which is corroborated by Lash below!

As Lash points out, the precessional half cycle of 12,960 years back in history from today, brings us to 10,500 BC. In fact Lash believes that Spica was designed among other things, to act as a pointer towards this galactic alignment as seen in his following summation:

“Spica, which I call the precessional star, seems to be the master key to the Dendera Zodiac. Axis E [Spica axis] reveals an infrastructure based on galactic features only thought to have been known in recent times. If my inferences are correct, Dendera proves not only that precession was known and applied to a scheme of World Ages, but that the entire 26,000 year cycle was understood in its formal organization.”^{14 [brackets mine]}

The fact that this study of the axes of the Dendera zodiac lead us directly to the timing of Christ’s birth at the inception of the Age of Pisces alone, is worth the price of admission. The details of the celestial signs leading up to the birth of Christ are covered in our website study on the “Celestial Prelude” which is found under the Biblical Astronomy of the Birth of Christ section of our site. The significance of Jupiter-Saturn triple planetary conjunctions in marking the opening of the Piscean Age are laid out there, along with how these Conjunctions were also central in Mayan Astronomy. The Dendera Zodiac as a prominent artifact of ancient Egyptian Astro-archaeology it provides an independent witness to the principles of Biblical Archaeo-Astronomy, but when combined with the witness of the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid their collective chorus on the birth of Christ becomes nearly deafening to those with ears to hear.

As we allow the heavens to have their say in declaring the manifest glory of the Creator, we will avoid the pitfalls of those throughout history, who decided to rather change the glory of the incorruptible God into any form found in Creation, be it man, animal or insect. Let’s learn our lessons from the Egyptians who stumbled on this downward path away from God’s Grace, into His wrath and fiery judgment in the Age of Moses.

2015 Jupiter-Venus Triple Conjunction and the Birth and Return of Christ

As we summarize the climax of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, we have noted a number of heavenly signs in the context of this current Blood Moon Tetrad reflecting the celestial glory of heavenly signs surrounding the Birth of Christ. In previous Blood Moon blog posts, we introduced the Triple conjunction of Jupiter-Venus that kicked off on July 1st, 2015. This initial Jupiter-Venus conjunction was all over the newscasts, and current events, being compared to the brilliant June 17th Jupiter-Venus planetary conjunction in 2 BC, 9 months after the birth of Christ. This is one of many indicators of the popularity of the Blood Moons in the public eye, as the Blood Moon mania grabbed the headlines of many major media outlets. The resemblance of these current heavenly signs, to the birth signs of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, were noted in detail as the “end times awareness” shot off the charts. The following synopsis of heavenly signs from July 1st to October of 2015, following the final Super Blood Moon of the 2014-2015-Tetrad, shows the continuing theme of the triple planetary conjunction of Jupiter-Venus, with the 3rd union on October 25th-26th.

September 17th, 2015 was a key date above since it marked not only the Rev. 12 sign of the Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet, but also the first of two Mercury-Spica conjunctions in Virgo, the 2nd one on October 29th. The September 17th sign from Rev. 12, takes place two years before the Great Wonder of Rev. 12 rewinds in the heavens in Sept. 2017, just as at the birth of Christ. This is emphasized with the two Mercury-Spica unions in Virgo, within a 6-week period. Mercury-Gabriel, the messenger arch-angel is announcing the nearness of the Lord Jesus Christ, returning FOR his Saints in the Church of the Body of Christ. The star Spica, the brightest star in Virgo, embodies the Promised Seed-Jesus Christ in his four-fold ministry as King, Son of Man, Servant and Son of God, as seen in the Four Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

There is also a 1 degree Triangular massing of Jupiter-Venus, Mars in Leo on October 28th, 2015, which is preceded earlier in the month with a planetary alignment with Regulus in Leo, [see Figure 1 below]. This is significant due to the resemblance again of the Rev. 12 heavenly sign, where the Woman–Virgo is crowned with 12 stars, consisting of the 9 fixed stars in Leo, combined with the planets Jupiter, Venus and Mars, forming the Crown of 12 stars over Virgo’s head. This alignment sets the stage for the Feast of Tabernacles week, marked by the Super Blood Moon of Sept. 28th. A very similar planetary alignment will be seen again in Sept. of 2017, [Figure 2.] involving the same players except Mercury will replace Jupiter in Leo, since Jupiter will be birthed in Virgo. This serves as key celestial foreshadowing 2 years prior to this birthing of Jupiter in Virgo.

As there were 3 Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions marking the Rev. 12 birth signs of Christ in 3-2 BC, so this triple alignment of Jupiter-Mars, & Venus in Leo with Regulus, reflects a similar spiritual light in the context of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014–2015. In fact the Rev. 12 heavenly sign: the [Sun clothing Virgo with the Crescent Moon at her feet] on September 17th, 2015 is announced by Mercury-Gabriel located just outside the womb area of Virgo, united with Spica/Al Zimach, on this day 2 years ahead of the rewind of the Great Wonder in Heaven, on Sept. 23rd 2017! There will however be more heavenly signs involving Jupiter-Venus in the next 2 years, leading up to the birthing of Jupiter in retrograde motion in Virgo’s womb in 2017.

As we have seen with both sets of heavenly signs surrounding the Birth of Christ and his victorious Return The King Planet Jupiter as the Star of the Messiah, and Venus-the Bright and Morning Star are highly prominent in marking and bracketing the key signs in the dual-purpose of Revelation 12, in marking both the birth and return of Christ.

Another key with the final Super Blood Moon is that it takes place after the Hebrew 50-year Jubilee opened on the Day of Atonement on Sept. 23rd, 2015. This is interesting since the Super Blood Moon was the first Blood Moon of the 2014-2015 Tetrad that was visible in Jerusalem. As we connect the dots with the two previous Jubilees in 1917 & 1967, we find an intriguing history related to the restoration of Israel. In 1917 Jerusalem was liberated from the Ottoman Turks by the British under General Allenby, just a few weeks after the Balfour Declaration had promised Israel a homeland. An interesting note here is that this date in Dec. 1917 represents a prophetic time span of seven year cycles [360 x 7] totaling 2,520 years from 604 BC when King Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem, leading Israel away into the Babylonian Captivity. During this campaign, General Allenby’s planes buzzed Jerusalem with numerous fly-overs, dropping surrender leaflets on the Ottoman forces, causing the Turks to “wave the white flag” without casualty. As Isaiah tells us regarding the way Jerusalem would be Delivered;

Isaiah 31:4b-5: “so shall the Lord of Hosts come down to fight for Mt. Zion and for the hill thereof, As birds flying, so will the Lord of Hosts defend Jerusalem; defending, also He will deliver it; and passing over, He will preserve it.”

In the details of this deliverance we can see the Hand of the Almighty working to fulfill this promise, even in the motto inscribed on the badge of the bomber squadron chosen to liberate Jerusalem which read: “I spread my wings and keep my promise.” This Squadron of the Royal Flying Corps took Jerusalem “as flying birds” and defended it, and passing over it, preserved it, fulfilling every detail of this prophecy.

In the next Jubilee of 1967, Jerusalem was reclaimed by Israel for the first time in nearly 2000 years, in the 6-day War with Egypt which was also marked by the 1967-68 Blood Moon Tetrad. When we add to this that the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad was the first one ever to mark a Shemitah year with solar and lunar eclipses, leading into the Hebrew Jubilee cycle, we can certainly see the emphasis the Almighty has placed on these key Hebrew Calendar dates in these last days.

As we have seen the Blood Moon Tetrads coincide with Hebrew feast and holy days, so God was calling our attention to these feasts to honor Him. We are also seeing Him call attention to the seven year Shemitah cycle leading to the seventh of these cycles in the Jubilee, so that both the Gentile world and Israel would repent and return into fellowship with the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. The Almighty is moving heaven and earth with added signs of the end times to lovingly call us back to his side. Let us forsake our prideful, and sinful ways and enjoy the abundant peace and prosperity that He has set aside for those who love Him by keeping His commandments!
