The Wheels of the Cherubim


Welcome everyone to the August 2026 Blog! As we are blessed in the current class by Rev. Jon Nessle and Ren Manetti on the Book of James, where Jon has recently taught on the First Fruits of a Restored Symmetry of the Creator’s Spiritual Cosmology. The incalculable value of this view, is a central concept in light of the recent blog study on the Cherubim Constellations and the Way of the Tree of Life. [see Nov. 2017 Blog] Their Bible perspectives on a Angelic Spiritual Symmetry in the 1st Heaven & Earth opens new vistas in reworking Joseph’s dreams of Israel’s 12 tribes tied to the 12 Ecliptic Signs in a Restored Symmetry of Angelic Realms as God renewed Israel’s vitality, in the spiritual Body of Christ. The Tabernacle’s eastern door is the Way, the truth, and the life, of John 14:6, in Jesus Christ as light of the world, door of the sheep, and
the Good Shepherd in [Jn.10], the true way that leads unto life.

We find important keys to this true way in Joseph’s dreams of Gen. 37, below:

Gen. 37:3-11 3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors. 4 But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peaceably to him. 5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.” 8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” 10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept [8104-Shamar]#1 the matter in mind.

A key to understanding this part of Genesis 37 is found as we take notice of details in the record, specifically the obeisance made by the sun, moon, and the eleven stars to Joseph’s sign of Taurus the Bull. The first dream makes no reference to Joseph’s parent’s who are represented as the Sun and Moon in the second dream. Their praise of Joseph’s star is added to that of the eleven stars of his brothers. The meaning of the Hebrew word (*H7812 shachah) to bow down, is to depress, prostrate oneself (in homage to royalty or God), to bow oneself down, to humbly beseech, worship or to do obeisance.#2  This word is used as indicated in verses 7, 9 & 10 above, in reference not only to the sheaves of the field, but also to the sun, moon and eleven stars, with Joseph being the twelfth. Here we find an  image of the Hebrew zodiac foreshadowing the prophecy of Jacob over his twelve sons in Genesis 49, as an image of the Sidereal zodiac, seen in both the sheaves (earthly seed; Gen. 13:15-17) and stars (heavenly seed; Gen. 15:4-6), each relating to prophecies concerning Israel. Here we can see a record where the witness of the Stars lines up with the witness of Scripture via God’s revelation to Joseph, to preserve the line of the promised seed of Israel, that the enemy was trying to wipe out in the famine that took Jacob to Egypt. We also find these two seeds mirrored in horizontal and vertical fish of the constellation Pisces.

Joseph’s first dream had a terrestrial interpretation which was seen in [Gen. 45: 8 & 26], where the same Hebrew word in verse 8, for “dominion” (maschal),#3 has an initial relevance to Joseph’s political position as “ruler through all the land of Egypt.” This was fulfilled when Jacob brought his family to Egypt via the direction of God’s direction [Gen. 46:3-4], when Joseph was Grand Vizier.

The second dream however, being celestial in nature, shows a clear distinction from the first dream, indicating that there’s an added aspect of these signs of the ecliptic that we, as students of Biblical Astronomy, must be aware of. The usage of (*H7812) here in Genesis 37, in relation to Joseph’s sign of Taurus, is distinctly different than in Genesis 49:8, where it states regarding Judah that: “thy Father’s children shall bow down (*H7812) before thee.”#4 Clearly, even though the same Hebrew word is used for the homage that Jacob’s children would give to both Judah and Joseph, it cannot mean for the same reason.

The homage due Judah in Genesis 49 has a distinct celestial significance since the Messiah’s ancestral roots came from this tribe [Rev. 5:5], as opposed to Joseph, who embodies the sign Taurus the Bull with its two horns as symbols of Joseph’s sons in the tribes Ephraim and Manessah. [Deut. 33:16-17]

 As Patriarchal Astronomy, saw the poles, ecliptic and Equator all tied to the direction of earth’s axis, shows aspects of precession as part of the Creator’s plan to asses the geocentric view of Earth’s center position in Creation. The earth, is not a literal center of the Universe, but as the focus of the light shed by the other celestial bodies from a Godly view [Gen. 1:14-16], it is the figurative focal point of God’s Creation as man’s garden home. This aspect of the idea of the Sun’s dual year, as the Solar year depicts a heliocentric, or sun–centered solar system, noting it’s Daily/annual glow from earth’s view, as the central light of heaven, versus its cycle of precession. The key point of precession is seen, not only in the 2160 year-ages ruled by the Sun’s residence in each of the 12 signs of the zodiac, but also regarding the Celestial Gospel message of each zodiacal sign linked to the return of the Promised seed-Jesus Christ.

In a view of the Restored Symmetry of the Creator’s Spiritual Cosmology as it relates to this context, a grasp of the relation between this angelic order in the first Heaven and Earth, is based on God’s perfect foreknowledge of Lucifer’s revolt and His plan for Man’s Creation included the redemption of Mankind superceding Satan and his fallen angels, exemplified in the Perfect man Jesus Christ, who inherited authority over the 2/3rds of the Angels that retained their holiness, along with the redeemed of Israel with the Spiritual Body of Christ. A summary of the intact Angelic Godly order begins in Ezekiel. 1.

[Ezek. 1:5-6] 5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. 

In Ezekiel’s vision the Cherubim each had four faces & four wings. As angels work between God and men, we see the traits of the Cherubim, first with four wings and faces at the four corners of heaven. They also have four hands of a man under each of their wings, showing a 4-fold symmetry of service to God in heaven for men on Earth.

We can see another element of dominion in these four Cherubim faces. In the Man- created in God’s image, with earthly dominion, the Lion–king is over the wild animal kingdom. With the Bull as the king of domesticated animals, the Eagle is the king of the fowl of the air, [Gen. 1:26-28]. In the graphic above, the Cherubim embody 4 cornerstone signs of the Hebrew Mazzaroth at the 4 Compass points and Cardinal Directions. As the Cherubim’s 4 faces embody four royal stars/constellations on the Sun’s ecliptic path, so 4 Cherubim are ever tied to four faces of Man/Aquarius, the Bull/Taurus, the Lion-king/Leo and the Eagle/Aquila.

Exodus 36:35-36 shows details of the colors seen in the Tabernacle’s veil of the Cherubim, as we consider some of this color symbolism in the services of the Tabernacle and Temple.

Ex. 36:35-36 And he made a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with Cherubims made he it of cunning work. And he made there-unto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

The veil hung from four pillars, embodied the terrestrial number, in earth’s orientation to the four Cardinal Directions and points of the compass. This symbolic number four is prominent in the imagery above, not only in the four pillars holding the Tabernacle’s veil, but also in the Tabernacle’s four colors  shown in the veil. In the four colors Blue represents peace, in God’s presence, seen in the Son of God as the Prince of Peace. Purple represents royalty, and is seen in Christ the King of Kings. Scarlet or Red represents blood, found in the Man Jesus Christ, the high priest offering the perfect sacrifice and sin offering of his own life for our redemption. The linen was White, a symbol of the purity and righteousness of God’s perfect Servant. So, the Tabernacle’s four colors collectively embody the four-fold ministry of Christ as the Chief cornerstone in the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, show his dominion over all Creation. As we find, the four pillars link to the four Cardinal Directions, known as the equinox & Solstices on the ecliptic and Equator as these four-corners of the heavens, square the circle of the ecliptic.

The truths of Jesus as our Shepherd are vividly seen in 3 Psalms 22, 23 and 24, showing the sufferings and glory of the Lord. As Prophet, the Good Shepherd who gave his life not only for the sheep, but for the safe-keeping of all people who come unto him [John 10:11]. As the High Priest and the Great Shepherd, he is the first, last and only door, for the sheep, the Alpha and Omega, which provides the way of access through his blood and resurrection [Heb. 13:20] unto life, into the true spiritual fellowship with our Heavenly Father. As the King and Chief Shepherd, his return exhibits his final glory, coming as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, [I Pet. 5:4, Rev. 19:16].

Thus, like the eastern shepherd, Jesus Christ embodies Jehovah-Nissi: the redemptive name for God protecting His people, [Ps. 23:1]. The Door, or gate gives access to the holiest of all was covered by a veil in both the Temple and the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle veil, hung on four pillars, separated the holy of the holies, the central point of God’s presence among His people, from the holy place. Woven into the fabric of this linen veil, the Cherubim were depicted, as a special class of angels who are prominent in God’s throne-room. They are uniquely seen with four faces corresponding to “four royal signs” of the zodiac, ruling four-corners of celestial pillars in heaven, also seen in the four constellation signs of Num. 24:4-9.

This Celestial depiction of the circuit and Way that God set before the Lord Jesus Christ is found in the 19th Psalm.

Ps. 19:4-6.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bride-groom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

In Fig. 4 below we find a rendition of the Son/Sun of God running his course consisting of the four Cherubim at the Cardinal points of the Sun’s course on the Ecliptic, [Mal. 4:2-3].

The Four Cardinal Points

Ps. 19:7-8 7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting [7725] the soul: [5315] the testimony [5715] of the Lord is sure, [539] making wise [2449] the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: [3820]#5 the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Ps. 19:7-8 shows us a pairing of the Heart and Soul, so in the trials of our race, we recover ourselves as we confess our sins to repent and return in fellowship, with God in response to the daily challenges we face.

Ps. 19:14 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, [3820]#6 be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, [6697] and my redeemer.

The pairing of Heart and Strength [Ps. 18:1-2] shows The Lord as our Rock-   one of the 7 Genesis titles of Christ in the OT. As we rely on the Lord’s Strength there is nothing we cannot overcome in our race.

Thus, the placement of all four of the royal stars in the cornerstone signs is consistent with the symbolism of emotional, spiritual, mental and physical aspects of all living human souls.

Ezekiel’s vision at the river Chebar tells of these living creatures, specifically their four faces, matching the signs at the four Cardinal Directions of the ecliptic. As noted regarding the North, it was omitted for various reasons, the main likely due to the idolatry of Dan’s tribe (Judges 18:30-31). Manasseh was added to replace Dan to maintain 12 tribes, but omitting Dan was not only due to their idolatry, but also because this tribe led the other ten northern tribes into idolatry. This is why in the Cherubim’s four faces, the Eagle–Aquila was switched as the serpent’s natural enemy. As we find in this Fig. 5 graphic above with the decan Aquila pictured directly over the tail of the serpent-Serpens, held by the man–Ophiuchus.

Up North we see the Eagle decan face of Aquila [Ezek. 1:10], replacing his born enemy, the Serpent/Scorpion, the only triple sign man/Ophiuchus, wrestling a
Serpens-Serpent, stamping out-Antares‘ Starlight, at the scorpion’s core. The vision of Ezekiel is recorded below.

This analysis of the Four Royal Stars is not only at the basis of the Celestial Gospel, but also in light of the First and Great Commandment in Mark 12:28-34, as we have just seen in Ps. 19.

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first of all commandments? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, it namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but He: 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

For Mankind to be unified in his Love for His God, he must give ALL his Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength. The sooner we realize this four fold unity of man, the sooner we can reap the full benefits of a unified life in our humble service to God. All who answer God’s Call, to serve with our All, in these 4 categories elevate ourselves into a maximum loading zone of God’s Miracle Abundance.

Several ancient cultures designated four bright stars in the zodiac as the “four corners of the earth” or the “four royal stars.” At the time the constellations were drawn by Shem, these four stars were near the sun’s location in the sky on the 1st day of autumn, winter, spring & summer, regarded as four Cardinal Points in the sky.

These four stars were well known at the four corners of the ecliptic, the first was a bright red star, Antares that anciently marked the autumnal equinox, in the heart of Scorpius, as the sun appeared the first day of autumn. 

The next bright star Fomalhaut, marked winter, followed by Aldebaran, a very bright red star set 180.0° opposite on the ecliptic from Antares, marked the Spring Equinox, as Antares marked the Autumn. Finally, the bright star Regulus, located almost exactly on the ecliptic, marked Summer. Regulus, was “the Prince,” and traditional leader of these four royal stars. #7 [n]

We find each of the four royal stars are in a single sign of the Mazzaroth’s 12 signs on the ecliptic. Antares in Fig. 5a, in the heart of the Scorpion (Scorpius). In Aquarius–Fomalhaut the Southern Fish–eye seen at the end–stream of the waters poured out by Aquarius, in Fig. 6a below. We find Aldebaran–the Bull’s-eye in (Taurus–reem) in Fig. 8 below. Lastly, Regulus is seen in the Lion’s heart of (Leo), in Fig. 7 below, the king of the royal stars. These four are the corner-stone constellations not only forming the square base of the Great Pyramid, with 4 tribes/apostles mirrored skyward as the chief corners of the ecliptic’s Great Square, also forms a basis of the idea of ‘squaring the circle,’ or ‘cubing the sphere’ in geometry. These truths are added handles to grasp the Gospel in the Stars.

Gen. 3:24 22 Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— 23 therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. 24 So He drove out the man; and He placed Cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

As Rev. Nessle taught Guarding the Way to the Tree of life was essential in preventing the Serpent from gaining access to this tree which would have corrupted Adam & Eve in their fallen state, and cancelled God’s plan for human salvation.

This first Cherubim mention in Scripture sets a precedent for the other four Cherubim who embody the four corners of the ecliptic as the four royal stars on Way holding the Celestial Gospel in the constellations of the ecliptic. As the Lord placed the Cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. This is the 1st usage of “Cherubim” Cherub [#3742] winged order of angel who stood over the Mercy seat in the holiest of all. [Ex. 37:7-9] They are said to rank below the Seraphim, which likely accounts for the Seraphim having six wings and the Cherubs having four. [Rev. 4:6-8]

Adam was charged to dress [5647] & keep [8104-shamar]#8 guard as watchman, to keep safe, preserve, protect [1Sam. 26:15-16, Job 2:6 Satan is warned not to harm Job’s life] Abner was worthy of death as he did not keep his Lord the king, the Lord’s anointed [4899], we must keep our mouth’s [Prov. 13:3]. Gen. 18:19, 28:15-20 keep the Lord’s way, [Jacob’s ladder] 37:11 Jacob kept Joseph’s dream narrative, Deut. 4:9 keep our Souls in God’s Word. Ps. 16:1, 25:20, Josh. 6:18 abstain from idols, Ps. 17:4 avoid the destroyer’s paths. Keep the Covenant [Gen. 17:9] God is keeper of Israel, [Ps. 121:4, Ex. 13:18, 21-22, Num. 22:23, 31-32, Deut. 6:7, 10:12, 26:17-19, Ps. 91:11, 103:7, Isa. 55:8-9,]

Ex. 25:17-22
17 “You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width. 18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it in one piece with the Mercy Seat. 20 And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the Mercy Seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the Mercy Seat. 21 You shall put the Mercy Seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. 22 And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the Mercy Seat, from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

These Cherubim not only inhabit The Throne-room of the Almighty, along with the Holy of the Holies where the Heavenly Father inhabits the area between the Cherubim above the Mercy Seat. But their unique link in God’s
presence is tied to the wheels appearing with the Personal presence of the Almighty on the Earth.

2Chron. 5:7-8 7 Then the priests brought in the Ark of the Covenant of the
Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the [a] Temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim.  8 For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed [3680] the ark and its poles. [3680–kacah-to cover, clothe, conceal, hide, keep secret, as the pillar of cloud covered the Tabernacle, Num. 9:16, Js. 5:14-20, covering or hiding sins is forgiveness, Ps. 32:1, 85:2, 103:3, 11-12, cp. Prov. 17:9, 28:13, Neh. 4:5, see #3722-Kaphar].#9

Note the similarity and repetitions between 2 Sam. 22 and Ps. 18:10-19 below;

2Sam. 22:7-20 7 In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry entered His ears. 8 “Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of [c]heaven quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. 9 Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. 10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down with darkness [6205] under His feet. 11 He rode upon a cherub, and flew; And He [d]was seen upon the wings of the wind.[7307] 12 He made darkness[2822] canopies around Him, Dark waters and thick clouds
of the skies. 13 From the brightness before Him Coals of fire were kindled. 14
“The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice. 15 He
sent out arrows and scattered them; Lightning bolts, and He vanquished them.
16 Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world [8398] were uncovered, At the rebuke of the Lord, At the blast of the breath[7307] of His nostrils. 17 “He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. 18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. 19 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, [343] But the Lord was my support. 20 He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.

These 2 sections of Scripture are nearly identical in their witness of God who rides on cherubs or chariots they embody, while vanquishing His foes. This got me thinking about the wheels linked to the Cherubim and their movement.

Ps. 18:9-19 9 He bowed the heavens [8064] also, and came down with darkness
[6205] under His feet. 10 And He rode[7392] upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.[7307] 11 He made darkness[2822] His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters And thick clouds of the skies. [7834]
12 From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire. 13 The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, [d]Hailstones & coals of fire. 14 He sent out His arrows and scattered [e]the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. 15 Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world [8398] were uncovered at Your rebuke, O Lord, At the blast of the breath [7307] of Your nostrils. 16 He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. 17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me. 18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. 19 He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me.

Ps. 99:1 The Lord reigns; Let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim; Let the earth be [a]moved! 2 The Lord is great in Zion, And He is high above all the peoples. 3 Let them praise Your great and awesome name
[b] He is holy.

Our God is the only One Who dwells Between the Cherubim as seen with the original Ark of the Covenant resting directly under the center of the Cherub’s outstreched wings, God reigns above the place for atonement between the Cherubim unified in the holiest of all, on the Mercy Seat.

Ex. 37:6-9 6 He also made the Mercy Seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits was its length and a cubit and a half its width. 7 He made two cherubim of beaten gold; he made them of one piece at the two ends of the Mercy Seat:[3727-kapporeth– ark lid, from 3725–kippur, atonement]#10 8 one cherub at one end on this side, and the other cherub at the other end on that side. He made the cherubim at the two ends of one piece with the Mercy Seat.
9 The Cherubim spread out their wings above, and covered the Mercy Seat with their wings. They faced one another; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.

 Ezekiel 1 is where we find a treasure of truth on the Cherubim. In v. 4 we read; 4 Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. 5 Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. 6 Each one had four faces,
and each one had four wings. 7 Their [c]legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves’ feet. They sparkled like color of burnished bronze. 8 The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings. 9 Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward.

10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle. 11 Thus were their faces. Their wings stretched upward; two wings of each one touched one another, and two covered their bodies. 12 And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went.
13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning. 14And
the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a lightning flash.

The closest thing to this heavenly image of lightning flashes mingled with fire,
I can recall is a recent eruption of a volcano, since its is the only natural image I can compare it to. On Sunday, Jan. 12th the Taal volcano roared to life, and this eruption on the volcanic island sent “steaming, ash and rock up 6 to 9 miles into the sky.” On Monday hot lava spewed from the Philippine volcano after it’s eruption of ash, steam and Lightning caused villagers to flee, closing down
Manila’s International airport. #11

The image of the Cherubim are first linked to God’s presence in his Heavenly throne-room in 2 Sam. 22:11, Ps. 18:10 where He rode on the Cherub and flew on the wings of the wind. As we have already noted the celestial link between the Cherubim keeping the Way of the Tree of life, and its association with the other four Cherubim at the four corners of the Ecliptic-its enlightening to see the image below of the wheels of the Precession of the Poles, where 2 wheels of the Ecliptic and the Celestial Equator overlap to depict the Precession of the Northern Pole star, or the fall of the Dragon [Rev. 12:1-13, Isa. 14:12-22] from his first estate. This wheel of the Ecliptic and Equator certainly fits the description in Ezek. 1:15-17 below of a wheel upon the Earth. In this case we see the one Wheel upon the Earth, accurately since 2 Earthly poles in their Geographic and Magnetic poles on Earth’s surface reflect the poles of the Ecliptic and the Equator.

As symbolic references to the four quarters of heaven, the 4 unified faces of these living creatures [Rev. 4:6] represent a composite of the celestial narrative, witnessing to the return of the promised redeemer, and his judgment on the assembly of the wicked.

This correlation between the four Cardinal Directions of the horizon seems an obvious celestial reference, endorsed by the celestial wheels within wheels tied to the Cherubim, [Ezek. 1:16, 20-22, 10:1-22]. These wheels relate to the celestial structure of the ecliptic and the Equator, as one wheel is seen within the other, with their crossover points as the equinoxes. One Hebrew word for “wheel” in  Ezekiel, [10:2,     10] is galgal [*H1534],#13 a variant of “Gilgal“ [*H1536], #14 the “Hill of God,” [I Sam. 10:5] where Joshua set up an altar of twelve stones [Josh 4], one for each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The word galgal is also a root of our word “Galaxy,” showing a celestial context of the wheels into modern days. Similar to the stellar reference of the 12 precious stones of the High Priest’s breastplate, as symbols of the twelve signs of the zodiac, Joshua’s altar marked their entry into the promised land, first deeded to Abraham [Gen. 13:14-15]. As God marked the end of the Israel’s wilderness sufferings even as He marked their exit from Egypt, with a miracle of parting of the waters, both of the Red Sea and of the Jordan River. He also marked the start of Israel’s reign of kings both in the anointing of Saul, with the first Passover in the Promised Land at Gilgal. Josh 5:9-10 has a figurative portrait of this initial Passover, as these “wheels of God’s justice” rolled over the heathen that stood in Israel’s way.

The Cherubim are a key link to God’s Throne-room

Ezek. 1:15 15 Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the
earth beside each living creature with its four faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went. 18 As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them. 19 When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. 20 Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, because there the spirit went; and the wheels were lifted together with them, for the spirit of the [d] living creatures was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up together with them, for the spirit of the living

 25 A voice came from above the firmament that was over their heads; when-ever they stood, they let down their wings. 26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. 27 Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were,
the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

 

This is the spiritual message the heavenly Father intended to be communicated over the face of the Earth, a far cry from idols of “astrological ages” promoted in various cultural myths throughout history. Only with a Scriptural view of the
precession of the equinoxes in its true Biblical context, can we gain wisdom that God has stored for us in Creation’s master temporal cycles. Though at times we see true light glimmers, shining through myth’s of broken symmetry and on occasion even Astrology, we gain an unobstructed view when we take heed to the two part harmony of Gods Written Word, with His Celestial Gospel. This approach truly provides the lost history that archaeo-astronomy has missed for millenia.

As part of the Creator’s grand design, the 25,920-year precessional cycle of the sun’s apparent retrograde motion against the backdrop of the tropical zodiac, depicts the Sun’s dwelling in successive zodiacal signs, dictated by earth’s shifting axis and equatorial pole. Thus, with the precession of the vernal point/vernal
equinox in mind, Earth’s central position, showing it’s figurative geocentric view, as referred to above, is not only observed with respect to the solar system, but The Earth’s centrality involves a much larger cosmic district than our community roundabout of the planets and asteroid belt. As Gen. 1:16-17 says, not only in the Sun and Moon but also the Stars were created to shed their light upon the Earth. This includes the entire zodiacal structure, the stars of the ecliptic, the Equator and the poles.

The Graphic in Figure 8 below depicts the equatorial north/south poles extended through the Earth. This illustrates the Earth’s axes generating the dual motion of the daily/annual solar cycle, versus the Sun’s retrograde Precessional cycle at the poles. As the Earth’s axes generates northern/Southern polar cycles, we not only view the wheel within the wheel Bible perspective of this cycle, but we also find

 

With the earth as the figurative center of Creation and the object of the three-fold celestial light shed from the heavens, the purpose and beauty of the cosmos is to shed its threefold light upon the earth, and God began with the dual year of the Sun, as seen in Psalm 19 and in Joseph’s two dreams in Genesis 37. We find this dual year, in the Sun’s annual and precessional cycles.

We can see how the geographic and magnetic poles on Earth are reflected in the North/South Poles of the ecliptic and the Equator, in the heavens as seen in Figure 3. below.

The Sun’s Cycle of Precession

Let’s begin with some initial Biblical evidence of precession in Psalm 19, as an introduction to the significance of the Sun’s “dual year,” or its annual and precessional cycles, the two prime standards for astronomical time. This differentiates the Sun’s dual year, first seen in it’s annual cycle, spending one month in each sign of the 12 Zodiacal signs, versus the retrograde precessional cycle, where it spends a “great month” or 2,160 solar years in the 12 signs of the ecliptic. As the Sun moves through all 12 signs of the tropical zodiac, the Sun completes its cycle of the “great year,” in about 25,920 solar years. The sixth verse of the 19th Psalm briefly refers to this apparent retrograde motion of the Sun:

Psalm 19:6 
His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

“His going forth is from the end of the heaven… a reference to the Sun’s path through the ecliptic, so called because all the solar and lunar eclipses occur on this course. The words “going forth” in Hebrew are mowtsa [*H4161], meaning the dawn, the east, a gate, the rising of the sun. 55

Thus it refers to the place or gate of the rising of the Sun, also known as the vernal point of the Spring Equinox, the sign of the zodiac where the sun rise occurs, indicating the sun’s retrograde precessional movement, because the sun rises in a different “gate,” or successive zodiacal house on average every 2,160 years. The sun’s annual cycle, or solar year is seen in “his circuit” above, which in the Hebrew is (*H8622) tequphah: rendered, “at the end of the year” [2 Chron. 24:23],6 an obvious reference to this annual solar cycle. Thus we have in brief, a Biblical contrast between these two solar cycles. The record of Joseph’s dreams in Genesis 37 will take us into greater depth on the Biblical testimony of precession. Joseph’s second dream in Gen. 37: 9-11 reveals a precessional context, with its use of stellar terms, especially the “eleven stars making obeisance” to his star or sign of the Bull, Taurus. These 12 “stars” of Joseph’s dream correlate with Jacob’s 12 sons in Gen. 49 forming the Sidereal zodiac. One can also view the precession of the Vernal equinox as the Sun in retrograde against the fixed background of the sidereal zodiac of the stars. Thus, Joseph’s second dream reveals astronomical truth that his first dream with an agricultural theme, does not.

The axes marked on the zodiac show the movement of Solstices & Equinoxes through the constellations between the foundation of Egypt and the building of the Denderah Temple. Sirius appears twice – once on the true North-South axis, above the horns of the “cow of Isis“, and also on the axis of the temple, as Horus on a papyrus stem. The star’s light illuminated the inner temple on New Year’s Day, at Sirius’ heliacal rising, when the temple was built. In that era, it would have coincided with the summer solstice in Cancer, which is why Sirius also appears aligned to Cancer on the North-South axis.

A History of Passover and Easter.

Welcome to the April 2026 Blog folks! In this Spring Season when Nature is bursting forth with signs of Life at every turn, we remain always aware and cognizant of our Loving Creator and Heavenly Father, as the Source of Life in all its manifestations. So it is with thankful hearts, we recognize the Father of Life and Light with His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, as Author & Agent of all Blessings to mankind. Through his sinless blood as the Passover Lamb, as we look to the first full Moon following the Spring Equinox each year, as a time thought to mark this Spring Feast, but is it truly as Exodus 12 tells us,  according to the standard of God’s everlasting ordinance? This is a focus of the topic of this month’s blog study. How did the God’s Passover commands morph into Easter?

Ex. 12:12-14 ‘For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. 13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. 14 ‘So this day shall be to you a memorial; [#2146] and you will keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.

Just as the blood of the sacrificed Passover Lamb saved the inhabitants of the Jewish dwellings in ancient Egypt, from the angel of Death, so the Blood of Jesus Christ our Passover protects us today from our sinful nature that is the death of all– without Christ. His perfect sinless blood was the only righteous sacrifice that could ever cover for our sin, as the rest of mankind all shares in the sinful blood of the 1st Adam, coursing through our veins. It’s key to note that Almighty God commanded that the Passover on Nisan 14 was to be a Memorial- kept as a Feast to the Lord throughout Israel’s Generations, as    an everlasting Ordinance, without exception.

In this way, the life & ministry of the Messiah Jesus Christ embodies pictures of future redemptive truths seen in the Sacred Feasts of Judaism. The First Coming of Jesus fulfilled 3 of these Feasts, as his Second Coming fulfils the remaining four. This aligning of the Hebrew Feasts of God with the 1st & 2nd Advents of Jesus Christ, depicts a unified Biblical Calendar recognizing Jesus’ sacrificial crucifixion aligned with Passover.

This record in Exodus 12 reveals more details of the Passover Lamb for Israel;

Ex. 12:2 “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying: ‘On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

Verse 3 tells us the Passover Lamb was selected on the 10th day of the month, followed on the 14th, when the families of Israel killed their Passover Lamb. The two aspects of the Passover Lamb-its flesh for healing health, and Blood for Salvation/Atonement we find today in Communion, [Levi. 17:11, Heb. 9:23].

This Passover Feast recalls the final plague before Israel was released from Egyptian Bondage, as the death angel “passed over” the nation of Israel who applied the blood of the Lamb to their doors. The Israelites dipped bundles of Hyssop into the blood in the basin at the threshold of their doors’ entrance, and going up they applied it to their lintels, touching both sides of the door-frames, [Ex. 12]. A deeper look at this imagery shows the form applied in this process makes the shape of a Cross, exhibiting God’s intention to align Jesus’ crucifixion with Passover, opening Wednesday- Nisan 14th established by God on the Hebrew Calendar, agreeing with Messianic prophecies in Amos 8:8-10. Reflected in the image of this 10th and final plague on Egypt, was the truth in the Lord’s Passover that “He would smite all the firstborn in Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt, the Lord executed judgment: I am the Lord.” The Hebrew noun “pesach’“ 1st usage [Ex. 12:11-12] refers to “the Lord’s Passover” or killing the Passover Lamb, applying Lamb’s blood to the doorposts, and eating the Passover Meal, [Lk. 22:8-13] These are 3 different Biblical usages of “Passover,” with a 4th referring to the entire 7-day Feast of Unleavened Bread, [Lk. 22:1]. #1 

The image of the firstborn in Egypt, both man and beast, [Heb. 11:28, 12:23] is mirrored in the truth that Almighty God and our Heavenly Father, gave His only begotten Firstborn Son Jesus Christ, who gave himself for all mankind on Passover–to embody the Spiritual First-Fruits of a truly abundant harvest of souls, foreshadowed in the Feast of Firstfruits; [Ex. 23:16-19, Levi. 23:9-10, 17-20, Num. 18:15, Deut. 26:1-10, Neh. 10:35-37, 12:44, Prov. 3:9, Ezek. 44: 30, Ex. 4:23, Mt. 1:25, Acts 26:23, Romans 6:9-11, 8:29, 1Cor. 15:20-23–prototoktos]#2

Jesus Christ fulfilled this when John the Baptist-seeing him, said Look! The “Lamb of God“ who takes away the sin of the world, [Jn. 1:29]. Jesus’ perfect Passover Sacrifice on April 28th, 28AD paid it all for us, rescuing us from spiritual death! This unity of the Calendars of Judaism and Christianty was  however wrongfully divided by the Roman Catholics in the 1st Council of Nicea in 325 AD.

Ex. 12:5 5 Your lamb shall be without[a] blemish, a male [b]of the first year.

There are important clues in this verse that are glossed over by most of the Christian world. This verse describes the qualifications of the Passover Lamb, being a Lamb of the First Year. Jesus-a Judean Rabbi, had to be at least 30 years old before he could begin his ministry to Israel. With his birth on 9/11/3 BC, it means 30 years later puts us in 27 AD. As God’s Chosen Passover Lamb, a Lamb in his first year means that the length of his ministry to Israel did not exceed 2 years before the sacrifice of the Lamb could occur! Thus, the freedom that Christ brought to the Jews in Passover is evident in the freedom Christian’s share in the New Birth. 

 This automatically eliminates all the many who maintain that Jesus’ ministry to Israel lasted 3 years! It means too-the record in John 1:26-34 as John, seeing Jesus- identified him as the “Lamb of God” in v. 29, occurred Winter-Spring of 27 AD, meaning the events of Jesus’ ministry occured in Spring 27AD toward the balance of 28 AD. As the Ministry of the Lamb of God–a Lamb of the first year, technically extends till before the end of the 2nd year, covering 27-28 AD. History tells the 15th year of Tiberius aligned with 27 AD as Tiberius Caesar, the Emperor during Christ’s lifetime, appears to have believed in Christ-as Lord, and that Pilate also became a Christian as well. [Lk. 3:1-3] #3

After Jesus conquered the Temptations of the Devil in the wilderness, he went to his home-town Nazareth to teach in it’s synagogue, where he read from the scroll of [Isa. 61:1-2, 63:1-4]. In Luke 4:16-19; “Jesus preached the Gospel to the poor, deliverance to the captives, healed the broken-hearted, and recovering sight to the blind, set them at liberty them who are bruised. To Preach the Acceptable Year of the Lord.”

This word “Acceptable“ in Greek is [#1184-dektos-a form of Dechomai-#1209 is not only a subjective decision but a favorable acceptance of God’s will, and divine approval.] The Acceptable Year is a time of God’s approval and His Choosing, [2 Cor. 6:2]. This word repeats again in Luke 4:24; “No prophet is accepted in [#1184] his own country.”#4 This was a prophetic reference not only of Christ and his Gospel of deliverance and liberty, but also the Jew’s rejection of his kingdom. It’s ironic that Jesus’ first declares his ministry to his “hometown“ crowd, in Nazareth–the people most familiar with him and his family, foreshadows also Christ’s rejection by the Jew’s religious leaders.

In the Spring of the year the 1st month-called Abib, on the Jew’s Calendar was known as Nisan after the Babylonian Captivity. We find evidence of this in the book of Esther below.

Esther 3:5-7 5 When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. 6 But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—the people of Mordecai. 7 In the first month, which is the month of Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast Pur (that is, the lot), before Haman to determine the day and the [b]month, [c]until it fell on the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar.

“Casting Pur“ in verse 7, is not a Hebrew word but refers to “casting of lots” a practice of the “monthly prognosticator’s, enchantments & sorceries engaged in by astrologers & star-gazer’s,” employed by Haman whose prophesied end seen in Isa. 47:9-13, is found with those who practice these “black arts.” “Pur” is likely from the Assyrian “puru“-as a pebble in casting lots. #5 

In current events today we find a very similar picture to what happened in ancient Persia, as Haman’s Genocide of the Jews is mirrored in modern Iran. As Haman intended Genocide for the Jews, so modern terrorists like Hamas have shown similar hatred for the Jews, seen in their October 7th atrocities. We can also see a reflection of the reversal that Haman brought on himself, being hung with his 10 sons on the very gallows he built to hang Mordecai! [Est. 8:1-8]. In today’s Iran-the Ayatollah Ali Khameni and his top leadership met their final ruin on a Saturday–Feb. 28th, a “Sabbath of Remembrance“-3 days before a 3rd [2024-2026] Purim Blood Moon 3/3/2026-in a row on the Jews annual victory bash for Haman’s demise! Part of this celebration included a Torah Reading in Jewish Synagouges of Haman being blotted out, [1Sam. 15:2 -3] as Ali Khameni & his leaders were bombed by Israeli/US forces. Iran has been developing a Nuclear bomb to bring “death to America and Israel” for decades, but were themselves bombed into submission! Like Haman and his Sons had the gallows, so Khamanei and his sons got their bomb. Like Haman rose many generations after the fall of Amalek, so Khamanei followed many generations after Haman, but our Lord recalls the ancient battle vs. the seed of evil, [Gen. 3:15] as the Almighty wrote it in the stars in Repeating-matched in our day in current Purim Lunar Eclipses!

The Feb. 28th Saturday–“Sabbath of Remembrance“ recalls Exod. 17:8-16 as Amalek fought with Israel at Rephidim. In 1 Samuel 15:2 the Lord remembered what Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way [#1870] when he came up from Egypt. It is no coincidence that Ali Khameni met his demise on this Sabbath of Remembrance, so near a 3rd Purim Blood Moon in a row! This aligns with God’s Promise in Ex. 17:14 below that; “I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”

Ali Khameni-as a notorious ruler since 1989, having recently massacred 35-40K of his own Iranian people, while sponsoring the likes of terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezzbollah & other Palestinian groups vs. the US and Israel. Not only do we find the link to a Sabbath of Remembrance, but we also find Matched-Repeating dates of the 3/3/2026 Purim Lunar Eclipse, back to the same March 3rd date with another Lunar Eclipse in 478BC, during Esther’s actual reign as Queen with Ahaseraus and Mordecai! The Purim feast is a permanent yearly notice and celebration of Israel’s victory & freedom from Haman’s intended Genocide, evident throughout history. It is also the reason for these Repeating, Matching dates found in current events of 3/3/2026 Purim Lunar Eclipse, with the signs of Repeating-Matched dates of Luni-Solar Eclipses from 480-478BC to 469BC.

Exodus 17:14-16 14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial; [#2146-to pierce, invoke in memory]#6 in the book and recount it in hearing
of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.” 15 And Moses built an altar and called its name, [f]The-Lord-Is-My-Banner; 16 for he said, “Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

In the seed and generations of Amalek from Agag in 1 Samuel 15:2-3 we find Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, [Est. 3:1]. This shows a priority in the mind of God concerning the generational enemies of Israel, with the high ranking of Amalek’s seed, as “the Lord desired to war with Amalek.” As God looks on the heart of Men, there is no better righteous Judge of man than the Almighty God.

As Moses stood atop of a hill where he could see Amalek’s armies below him. He held to the “rod of God”—the same rod with which he had raised to part the Red Sea for Israel’s crossing, and with he struck the rock to bring water for Israel in the desert (Exodus 17:5–6).

This battle was unusual: “As long as Moses raised his hands, Israel prevailed, but when he lowered his hands, with the rod of God the Amalekites prevailed (Ex. 17: 11). As Moses’ arms grew weary, they had to be supported by his brother, Aaron, and a man named Hur. At sunset, Israel defeated the Amalekites (Ex. 17:12–13). After the battle, Moses built an altar and named it Jehovah-Nissi, “the Lord is my banner.”

The unique manner of this conquest, left no doubt as to who was responsible for the victory. Only as the rod of God was held aloft did the Israelites prevail. The battle was not won by military might or superior battle plans; it was won by the power of God. “The battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47).

The hands and rod of Moses were held up in the same way that soldiers hold up their flags in the time of battle. As these flags bear the insignia of their country, the soldiers are said to fight under that banner. The Israelites fought under the direction of God, Jehovah-Nissi. It was under the Lord’s banner and with His aid they fought, and in His name and strength they conquered.

The lesson that, as Moses held up the rod of God, he was praying for the success of the Israelite troops below him. Moses’ lifting up of the rod can thus be seen as a picture of intercessory prayer. “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Moses’ weariness, evidenced by the lowering of his hands, illustrates a truth that “the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak,” (Mark 14:38). The naming of the altar Jehovah-Nissi is a reminder to believers of every era that we are always victorious as we honor the name of the Lord and rally to Him as our Banner. If God be for us ,Who can be against us?

An added purpose in this blog study is to utilize written historical references to show that the Church Jesus set up, observed the biblical Passover on the 14th of Aviv/ Nisan for the first 200 years of its existence. And only after significant political pressure, many Christian Churches changed the date of observance to what is now called “Easter Sunday.” I’m blessed to say that our church is not included among those who made this change, against God’s Command. [Ex. 12: 12-14.]

If the apostle Paul taught against the observance of biblical holy days as many falsely proclaim, then why was the church still observing holy days 2 centuries after his death? The historical record shows the very congregations he set up in Asia Minor, were holding to a Biblical Passover 200 years later, that they kept on the 14th of Aviv/Nisan just as recorded in the book of Exodus and Leviticus 23:5.

Early post-Apostolic Observance of the Passover #7

Those that favored abandoning the observance of Passover according to Biblical standards tell us the history of life in the early church is foggy…”and since our view of how Passover was observed in the Church of the Apostles is unclear we are free to rewrite history and improvise our own traditions.” This is a falsehood of a highest order, since God’s Word provides us the clearest images of how and where the New Covenant records are preserved. Every year there are Church fellowships on the 14th of Nisan that conduct ceremonies as Christ taught his disciples where a Passover Lamb was replaced by Communion’ Bread & Wine [John 13:3-15]… [Matthew 26:26-29]… together we read Jesus’ encouraging words to the disciples on that night [John 14:1 – 17:26]…we sing     a hymn together and we conclude, our Communion service [Matthew 26:30].

1Cor. 5:6-8 6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Therefore [d]purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed [e]for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The New Testament Passover is not based on Jewish tradition, or Old Covenant practice, except the date of observance, which is the 14th day of the month of Aviv/Nissan. Jesus himself replaced the sacrificed lamb with the bread and wine. Jesus instructs us in 28 AD till today, that Passover was a memorial of Jesus’ death and our deliverance from sin rather than Israel’s deliverance from Egypt. He said;

“this is my body given for you, do this in remembrance of me“…”this cup is the  blood of the new covenant which is poured out for you“…”poured out for the many, for the forgiveness of sin“.

This is summarized in 1 Cor. 11:23-26 as Churches of God hold New Covenant Passover services according to a pattern given by Jesus Christ, passed down to us via the apostles, and to the Church of God into the present day.

The Scriptural records document the followers of Christ still observed and referred to “the Passover“ on Nisan 14.  Their recalling of the memorial of Jesus’ death honors this sacrifice, rather than Israel’s Exodus from Egypt. Those remaining faithful to the Biblical standards from the Apostles are on good and solid ground, while others influenced mostly by the Roman Catholic Church, veered into new practices linked to Easter, based on heretical practices
of their own presumed authority. This divisive practice generated controversy. 

The 1st Historic References to the Controversy

A writer named Irenaus who lived during the decades after the last of the apostles reports on a meeting that took place in 154 AD, between two church leaders: Polycarp and Anicetus. Polycarp was bishop of Sardis representing the eastern congregations, while Anicetus was bishop of Rome in the west.

During that meeting Anicetus tried to persuade Polycarp to stop observing the Passover according to the practice of the apostle John, while Polycarp worked to persuade Anicetus to stick with the Passover. Since part of the Church kept the Passover while others did not, a doctrinal schism was exposed. Churches in the east, set up and taught by the Apostle Paul, rejected Rome’s efforts to alter times and practices. Due to a rise of Antisemitism, based on Jews themselves who were stirring up trouble and unrest in the empire that was used to respond by rejecting the Passover, that began to sweep across the Roman Empire.

In 70 AD. while some of the apostles were still on the scene, Jerusalem was sacked and destroyed by Roman troops because of Jewish rebellion against the empire. The Church of God had fled to nearby Pella as destruction came. but after decades passed Christians drifted back to Jerusalem once again.

About 62 years later the Jews tried again to overthrow the Roman rule. The Bar Kokhba Revolt of AD. 132 – 135 was forcefully put down by Rome. Because of the revolt the emperor Hadrian put measures into place to try and stamp out Jewish influence for good.

  1. Hadrian built a brand new Roman style city called Aelia Capitolina on the ruins of Jerusalem
  2. Hadrian instituted laws that prohibited the practise of the Jewish religion
  3. Hadrian specifically targeted the Jewish festivals [which are God’s feasts] presumably to remove any excuse for the Jews to gather in large numbers and instigate riots and revolts.
  4. Hadrian expelled the Jews (therefore including the Jewish Christians) from His new city Aelia Capitolina. After ethnic Jewish leaders of the influential Jerusalem church were gone, they were replaced with Gentile members and leaders.

This set a stage for major change and serious controversy about observance of the Passover. A Palestinian historian Epiphanius wrote a report about the Quarto-deciman controversy in the late 300’s AD:

“The controversy arose after the exodus of the bishops of the circumcision in A.D. 135 and it has continued until our time.” He goes on to say that the 15 Jerusalem bishops had held fast to the date of the 14th of Nisan in keeping with the Apostolic Constitutions where the following rule was given; “you shall not change the calculation of the time but you shall celebrate it as the same time as your brethren who came out of the circumcision. With them you shall celebrate the Passover.”

Once a removal of Christian bishops with a Jewish background occured the Passover controversy rose up. Epiphanius also speculated that the new Gentile leaders changed the date to separate & differentiate Christian churches from the Jews… as the Jews came under attack from the Roman government. Soon after the changes initiated by Hadrian in Jerusalem, other Gentile Christian churches began to adopt the Sunday after Nisan 14 as the  Passover date. The congregations in Rome were early adopters of this new standard.

In Scripture, Paul dealt with Jewish legalism in Galatians and Gentile philosophy in Colossians. So, these differing approaches existed beneath the surface even in the 1st century congregations. Later, as Gentile Christians came to dominate the leadership of Church congregations…The Anti-semitism of Hadrian made anything that seemed Jewish undesirable. With the passage of time, Gentile Christians lead a church increasingly anti-semitic, as the two primary topics of this strife became the Sabbath and the holy days, the two prominent practices that were prioritzed by the Jews. Contrary to the Roman Cathholic positions, the Bible held the Sabbath and Holy days/God’s Feasts as basic Scriptural tenets. [Ex. 12:12-14]

The Council of Nicea 325 AD. #8

The Quarto-deciman controversy continued on, after men like Polycarp and Polycrates had tried to hold the line. Then after 200 years the debate over the  observance of Passover was settled by an agreement hammered out between the Roman Emperor Constantine and the Bishops of the Roman Church.

This debate intensified during the Second Century, historically known as the Quartodeciman controversy. “Quartodeciman” is simply a Latin term meaning “fourteenth.” What the 2nd century ecclesiastical record reveals is there was a controversy over the fourteenth— specifically, it concerned the change from the fourteenth of Nisan (Passover) to Easter, with all its pagan associations & links with typologies of fertility and fecundity. This was openly contested and rejected by congregations of the Asiatic East. It came to a head when Polycarp, the bishop of Smyrna (who was personally taught by John the apostle), faced off with Anicetus, the preeminent bishop of Rome, in about 95 AD.

The Anti-Semitic influence in this part of the resolution is obvious: it appears an unworthy thing that in the celebration of this Most Holy Feast we should follow Jewish practices, who impiously defiled their hands with enormous sin, and are therefore deserving to be afflicted with blindness of soul… let us then have nothing in common with the detestable Jewish crowd: for we have received from our Savior a different way. Strive and pray continually that the purity of your soul may not seem in anything to be sullied by fellowship with the custom of these most wicked men… All should unite in desiring that which sound reason appears to demand, avoiding all participation in the perjured conduct of the Jews.

Furthermore, to ensure the new Passover never coincided with the Jewish Passover, the Nicean Council decreed that if the 14th of Nisan ever fell on a Sunday, their celebration would be celebrated the following Sunday. In effect, this was how the biblical Passover was suppressed and world ended up with what is now called Easter… a humanly devised tradition. A disagreement that  was not settled by an appeal to Scripture, or an appeal to Apostolic Practice or Teaching… but settled politically in this Roman Catholic Church Council.

The celebration called Easter wore on; changed according to human tradition. Not only was it given a new date, and given new meaning, becoming a Spring Festival filled with fertility symbols reinterpreted as symbols of resurrection, along with elements of sun worship twisted into stories of light triumphing over darkness. This degradation of Passover from an annual Biblical Feast to abide by Godly Commandments, deteriorated to a religious dogma decided by Constantine and the Roman Catholic Bishops, which eventually changed the 
name to Easter near 200 years after the Council, in honor of a Spring goddess Eoster/Astarte… as Baal’s consort a thinly veiled version of Ishtar. The entire pagan concoction was merely an expression of the Babylon Mystery Religion.

“For I received of the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed [not Easter Sunday!] took bread” (1 Corinthians 11:23). Keep in mind Jesus Christ was betrayed during the night of Nisan 14 (Luke 22:15-22), that was thought the evening portion of the day of Passover (Exodus 12:6-13). Remember, God begins a new day at evening,  commencing at sunset (Genesis 1:5). With this established fact, how then was it changed from the 14th of Nisan (Passover) to Sunday following the first full moon after the vernal equinox, and then assigned the pagan name Easter; (Ishtarte)?

Unquestionably, this was no minor change from the original observance that Jesus Christ exemplified (especially since people died refusing to obey this change). And furthermore, to supersede the authority of Jesus’ own example, is obviously presumptuous at best; and at worst, it is outright heretical! How can such a blatant act of contradiction and disregard for our Lord’s example and commands be allowed to take place? 

Notice what history tells us from the Roman Catholic Church itself, concerning this second century controversy: “The dioceses of all Asia, as from the older tradition [Passover], held that the fourteenth day of the moon, on which day the Jews were commanded to sacrifice the lamb, should always be observed as the feast of the life-giving Pesach-Passover]… However, it was not a custom of the churches in the rest of the world [primarily the West, expressed by Rome] to end it at this point [a non-biblical based fast ending Easter Sunday], as they observed the practice, which from apostolic pracitice has prevailed to present time… Synods and assemblies of bishops [not Jesus Christ’s example or the Gospel records!] were held on this account and all with one consent through mutual correspondence drew up an ecclesiastical decree [ignoring Christ’s personal example as recorded in the Gospels] that the mystery of the Lord’s resurrection should be celebrated on no other day but, the Sunday [Easter] and that we should observe the close of the paschal fast on that day only. A letter of Saint Irenaeus is among extracts just referred to, says Polycarp who [bishop of Smyrna], like the other Asiatics, kept Easter the fourteenth day of the moon [the real Passover], whatever day of the week that might be, after  the practice of [Polycarp] said to have derived from St. John the Apostle, was not swayed by Pope Anicetus to give up his Quartodecimen observance. The debated question was primarily whether Easter was to be kept on a Sunday, or whether Christians should observe the holy day of the Jews… #9

Clearly, this historical record from the Catholic Church proves that they themselves (not Jesus Christ) chose to exercise authority to sever the link with Passover. Undoubtedly, there was a long-term agenda to undermine and shift any and all associations connecting Jewish underpinnings that were foundational to the early Christian Church. This included doctrine of the Trinity, that was not introduced till the same Council of Nicea in 325 AD, based on the same political basis of negotiation amongst Synod’s and Bishop’s, with Constantine. Why is it that the word “Trinity” never occurs in Bible text? Very simply, because it did not exist as Church doctrine till introduced in the same Nicean Council of 325 AD, by Constantine & his Roman Catholic Bishops. If we recall from The 10 Commandments, God decreed that we should have no other God’s before Him, [Ex. 20:2-3]. since the Trinity makes Jesus-“God the Son” this idolatrous doctrine puts the Man-Jesus [1Tim. 2:5] on an equal basis with The Almighty God, his Heavenly Father. This violates the Laws of Physics, as its impossible for a Man to be both finite and infinite, at the same time and same relationship. It also violates God’s will; Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one!” [Deut. 6:4-shema] As opposed to the polytheistic religions of her neighbors, Israel was deeply impressed with the truth that there is only One true God (hence, the term, “monotheism“). The monotheistic doctrine of God is an invioable tenet of Creator’s Doctrine at the headwaters of the Christian faith. When the Apostle’s wrote their Gospel’s and Epistle’s in the 1st Century after Christ’s Crucifixion in 28AD, there was no Trinitarian Church Doctrine except in the pagan nations that all shared a form of a Trinity of idol gods, as in Egypt with the Sun god Ra, Isis & Oriris, or in India with Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva, or ancient Greece; had Zeus, Athena & Apollo, or in Norse Mythology with; Odin, Freya & Thor. In Rome it was Jupiter, Juno & Minerva. Not till the 1st Roman Council of Nicea in 325 AD, did Roman Catholics legislate a policy agreed amongst Synod’s and Bishop’s to spread this malady of idolatry in the Christian Church.

Remember, Paul told us that, the household of God (Church) is “built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets [not Synods, Councils, and bishops], Jesus Christ himself being the chief comer stone”(Ephesians 2:20, 1 John 2:6). There was absolutely no authorization to change the framework of these major points of doctrine, disconnecting from Jesus Christ’s own worship exemplified by His life, habits, and customs as seen in Peter’s 1st Epistle-

(1 Peter 2:20-24); 20 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for [e]us, leaving [f]us an example, that you should follow his steps: 22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in his mouth”; 23 who, when he was reviled, did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but committed [3680#10] himself to Him Who Judged righteously; 24
who himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose [g]stripes you were healed.

Yes, its by the example of Jesus’ own worship, he commits himself to the Only Righteous Judge; the Greek word for ‘commit‘ here is [paradidomi–#3860; yield up, to surrender, entrust, transmit, cast, give over. Jesus gave himself over to surrender to God’s will, even in his prayer to Almighty Father in the Garden of Gethsamane that this cup might pass, but His [the Heavenly Father’s will] be done. This act of worship and obedience to the Heavenly Father is seen in  the early life of Christ, as he was always about His Father’s business. [Lk. 2: 49]

1Cor. 15:20-28 20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have [d]fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign till He has put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under his feet.” But when He says “all things are put under him,” it is evident that He Who put all things under  him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son himself will also be subject [#5293–hupotasso–submission in a dependent position, 2Cor. 9:13, 1Tim. 3:4-5]#11 to Him who put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

As the Almighty Heavenly Father put all things under the feet of Christ, in the finality of events God Almighty-Who put all things under Christ, Himself is excepted in v. 27. As the exception, and the Righteous Judge of all, including the Son who is also subject to God the Father-Who put all things under Christ. This is the Godly designed order and spiritual heirarchy that we all share life in, not a Trinity of 3 god’s where the Son is made “God-man“. This, of course was the other link to God of the Jews, that Rome sought to sever, the Righteous Judge who judged not only all Egyptian god’s in 10 plagues against Pharaoh, but all rebellious fallen spirits in idol pantheons in Satan’s world dominion, [Lk. 4:5-8, Dan. 11:10-13].

 It is important we recall: Jesus Christ never kept an Easter in His life! Unequivocally, it is undeniable that Easter has no Biblical connection, foundation, or authority on the name of Jesus Christ requiring observance and/or recognition by any who claim Christ as their Savior.

Yet, regardless of these verifiable facts; this trend finally became law in the year A.D. 325 at the Council of Nicaea. Notice, in the Catholic Encyclopedia: “The emperor himself [Constantine] writing to the churches after the council of Nicaea, exhorts, ‘At this meeting the question concerning the most holy day of Easter was discussed, and it was resolved by the united judgment of all present [regardless of the example/commands of Jesus Christ and original apostolic fathers, Matthew 26:17-30] that this feast ought to be kept by all and in every place on one and the same day [Easter Sunday]…And first of all it appeared an unworthy thing that in celebration of this most holy feast we should follow the practice of the Jews, who impiously defiled their hand with enormous sin… for we have received from our Savior a different way [Where then, is the Biblical proof or Christological authorization?] …and I [Constantine] have undertaken that this decision should meet with the approval of your sagacity in the hope that your wisdoms will gladly admit that practice which is observed [Easter Sunday] at once in the city of Rome and in Africa, throughout Italy and Egypt… with entire unity of judgment.” #12

And finally, under the article “Councils” in the Catholic Encyclopedia again, we read about the purpose of the Council of Nicaea. ‘The 1st Ecumenical Council, of Nicaea (325 A.D.) lasted two months and twelve days. Three [318] hundred and eighteen bishops were present. Hosius, bishop of Cordova, assisted as legate of Pope Sylvester. The Emperor, Constantine, was also present. To the council we owe the Creed of Nicaea, defining against Arius the true divinity of the Son of God [Arius challenged the divinity of Jesus Christ], and the fixing of the date for keeping Easter [opposing the Quartodecimans who observed Passover]. #13

It was now made “official”: Easter Sunday, the day after the first full moon, after the spring equinox, became the day to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. This was a serious and critical shift of theology. Critical, as it not only changed the day of the observance, but changed the focus, and meaning of the observance. It now became an observance and celebration of his resurrection, contrary to the Biblical admonition of remembering the willing sacrifice of His death! In the Creed of Nicaea we note the dual purpose of the Council of Nicaea; first to define the divinity of the Son of God [the idol “God-Man“], the Trinity and 2nd to fix the date for keeping Easter, to separate it from the 14th of Nisan to preface the further idolatry of the pagan Spring festivals of Astrate.  

Jesus Christ’s act of surrender to the Will of the Heavenly Father, made the will of the Son himself also subject [#5293-hupotasso–submissive in a dependent position Jesus Christ so he could fulfill the purpose God sent him to complete, to endure the Cross as an act of Jesus’ will and Faith to agree with the Father, as seen in Heb. 12:2; below.

Hebrews 12:1-2
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the [a]
author and [b]finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Notice what Paul says, “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death [not His resurrection] till he come” (1 Corinthians 11:26). There is a purposeful point of significance our Lord placed exclusively on Passover concerning His death. It’s fundamental, but crucial to understand; Passover was intended to distinctly address the impeccable fact that it was by Jesus Christ’s sacrificed life and shed blood that we have access to eternal life. Unfortunately, merging His death and resurrection in one holy day, embodied in Easter, blurs a deep profound meaning of both these events by removing  the emphasis that each so richly deserves.

Sadly, on a broader scale, the abandonment of the observance of God’s holy days has contributed to this greatly. Understanding the additional holy days throughout the year, their enriched meanings and sequence they portray, would clarify how each step in the salvation/atonement process is explained for our understanding and spiritual edification.

After the Council of Nicaea, the Roman government became more entangled with the ecclesiastical matters of the Church, derailing it further from the original intent by multiple means. “Emperor Theodosius (A.D. 78-98) made Christianity the State Religion of the Roman Empire, making membership in the church compulsory. This was the worst calamity that has ever befallen the Church. The forced conversion filled the churches with unregenerate people. Christ had designed to outreach by purely spiritual and moral means. Up to this time conversion was voluntary, a genuine change in heart and life. But now the military spirit of Imperial Rome had entered the Church. The Church conquered the Roman Empire. But in reality the Roman Empire conquered the Church, by making the Church over into the image of the Roman Empire. The Church had changed its nature, had entered its great Apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2: 1-12), had become a political organization in the Spirit and pattern of Imperial Rome, and took its nose-dive into the millennium of Papal abominations. The Imperial Church of the 4th and 5th centuries had become an entirely different institution from the persecuted Church of the first three centuries. In its ambition to rule, it lost and forgot the Spirit of Christ” (Halley’s Bible Handbook, “Paganization of the Church,” p. 760). #14

Regrettably, the combination of Rome’s secular power and the integration of fertility symbols and observances, adopted from many of the existing pagan religions that saturated Rome, took its toll; and by means of forced compliance and/or persecution, marginalized the true Church, reducing its influence. Notice again, “Conversion of Barbarians, the Goths, Vandals, and Huns who overthrew the Roman Empire accepted Christianity; but to a large extent their conversion was nominal and this further filled the Church with pagan practices.

“…Even as every generation seeks to interpret Christ in terms of its own thinking, so, no sooner had Christianity made its appearance than it began its process of amalgamation in Greek & Oriental philosophies; and there arose many Sects…”

The historical record of the Passover/Easter controversy is a prime illustration of how man endeavors to evade God, avoiding His authority. History reveals the combination of the Greco-Roman government, implemented by ecclesiastical authority of the Popes and Catholic Councils over the centuries, replaced Passover with Easter. There is absolutely no Biblical directive or Christ–like example throughout the whole Bible authorizing the institution of Easter as a Christian holy day! It’s simply a man-made tradition, adopted, concocted, and assimilated with ancient pagan fertility rites and symbols that are linked to the “sun-worshipping” cults of Babylon that came down to us through the Greco-Macedonian/Roman cultures. Lamentably, over the years, it has contributed to misdirecting much of the vast Christian community, causing it to render laws of God of none effect because of the traditions of men. Even Jesus Christ had to personally deal with this same principle during His ministry and cautioned against it. Notice what He said. “Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition” (Mark 7:6-9).

As we observed our Communion Passover this month, I trust this history of the transformation of the Biblical Passover into the Roman Catholic Easter, along with the introduction of the Roman Catholic Trinity doctrine, regarding the identity of Jesus Christ-the only begotten Son of God, we find evidence of a role of the Roman Catholic Church to influence Biblical Christian Churches to re-interpret the Passover observance of Jesus Christ and his Apostles and Prophets. As we are aware of these Roman Catholic historical records to this effect, we can better equip ourselves to walk circumspectly and avoid the snares and doctrinal pitfalls that our spiritual adversary has laid for us.

With the change of Seasons from Summer to Fall it reminds us of how the Heavenly Father has placed us in a temporal world, where change is the ever-present standard of the Ages of our World. Those who seek to honor God in our lives and follow the example of His only begotten Son; Jesus Christ, will take this opportunity to put off the old man, and put on the New, so we can participate in transforming ourselves into more Christlike people. In this process, it’s certainly great to have the spiritual body of Christ’s Church to grow into, as we daily approach the Return of the Lord. This month’s study provides the temporal context of this lifetime journey… God tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:9-15 [Amp. Bible]

9 What profit remains for the worker from his toil? 10 I have seen the painful labor and exertion and miserable business which God has given to the sons of men with which to exercise and busy themselves. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages [the world related to time], which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to be glad and to get and do good as long as they live; 13 And also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor-it is the gift of God. 14 I know that whatever God does, it endures forever; nothing can be added to it nor anything taken from it. And God does it so that men will [reverently] fear Him [revere & worship Him, knowing that He is]. 15 That which is now already has been, and that which is to be already has been; and God seeks that which has passed by, [so that history repeats itself]. [Prov. 3:11-23]

If only we humbly reach out to Almighty God on His terms, can we gain a deeply valued perspective in understanding the works of His hands in His Creation. In this Biblical sense and context we resume our search for a deeper meaning behind the Astronomical Phenomena that rules over the ages of the world, known as the Precession of the Equinoxes.

The history of Biblical Astronomy gains new insights as we view the Biblical context of the Patriarchal astronomers, starting with Adam regarding their view of the heavens. God’s revelation of His Intelligent design of the cosmos, was taught to Adam-the 1st Man initially, and passed on to Biblical Patriarchs and others, during Adam’s 930-year life span. During the transmission of this revelation, it retained its accuracy since it was transferred from God to Adam in the same generations it was received, before Adam taught it to others. The Revelatory Astronomy of God depicting the poles, ecliptic and Equator, all arising from the direction of the Earth’s axis, exhibit critical aspects of the Precession of the Equinoxes as a key part of God’s plan of a figurative geocentric position of Earth’s central location in the heavens. Since Earth was the only celestial body inside the firmament in the 1st Heaven and Earth, with Mankind not yet created, only Angels lived to serve the Almighty. This  speaks not only to the Precession of the Equinoxes, but also the Precession of the Pole star related to the shifting Ages, as seen on top of Figure 1 below. As we view the Creator’s original plan of Creation, in 3 Heavens and Earth’s, a benefit of this study affords readers an updated view of the Precession of the Equinoxes; that lays out a precessional timing of the Ages and events opening the Second Heavens and Earth. As a result, new light is shed on these events and temporal periods, in the context of the 1st Heavens and Earth, not only from a Biblical view, but also a historical vantage point.

In the Figure 1 graphic of Precession provided below, we find eight of the 12 signs of the Mazzaroth, or Constellations of the ecliptic labelled. Following the sign Cancer in the blue rectangle of the ecliptic band, is a blank yellow rectangle where the sign for Gemini-the so-called “Twins” belong. The next brown box keeps space for–Taurus the Bull. After Taurus we find an orange rectangle for Aries the Ram. In the long march of 12– 2,160 year-Precessional Ages, this Age of the Ram directly preceded the Age of Pisces the Fishes. This is our current Age of Precession, as we have already seen 2000+ years of the 2,160 years of the Piscean Age, that opened with a 7 BC triple conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn, as part of the Celestial Prelude that set the stage 3 years later for the Jupiter-Regulus triple union in Leo marking the 3BC birth of Christ.

As we proceed in this study, we will see how the 12 signs of the Mazzaroth or Zodiac are represented in the ancient Egyptian Dendera Zodiac, that itself prophesied of the birth of Christ. This also depicts one way that the Great Sphinx prophecy of the birth of Christ, not only relates to Dendera’s witness of Christ, but also of how Precession is the ultimate Zeitgeist, or Spirit of the Times-as each of the 12 constellations or signs carry their own symbolic weight, in relating the message of the Celestial Gospel, as we find in greater detail below. 

Looking at the Creation record in Genesis 1-2, we do not find reference to the Creation of Angels, during the Creation Week, because God already created the angels, who pre-existed this Age with Lucifer as his “morning stars,” seen in [Job 38:4-7, Jude 6, 9, Rev. 12:3-4], in the first Heaven and Earth. We know of 3 Heavens & Earths since the Apostle Paul was “caught up” [2 Cor. 12:2-4] to a  3rd Heaven, [G3772–ouranos; used in both singular & plural interchangeably, referring to tiers of space above earth’s surface, where fowls of the air fly; (Mt. 6: 26), and clouds form rain (Mt. 24:30, Js. 5:18), under the celestial motion of the Sun, Moon and Stars; [Mk. 13:25].#2 Above temporal limits is a restricted dwelling of Holy Angels & God, outside of and separate not only from our own Age-time, in a Second Heavens and Earth, but detached from a previous Age, before man was created. These 3 Heavens & Earths occur in a time sequence, starting “in the Beginning“ in Gen. 1:1, and 2 Pet. 3:6, as “the world“ [G2889-kosmos: sum total of a material universe with all inhabitants, people or space, #3, versus [G165–aion: Mt.12:32, 13:39-40, end of distinct world-ages].#4 The world that was then,” that “became formless & void” in Gen. 1:1-2, when an unknown length of time between the destruction of the 1st Heavens and Earth, and the events of the Creation Week in the 2nd Heavens and Earth occurred. 2 Pet. 3:7 says “the Heavens and Earth which are now,” takes us into the present Age in the 2nd Heavens and Earth, while 2 Pet. 3:13; links us to a 3rd Heavens and Earth-still future, [Isa. 65:17, 66:22-24] that God exposed to the Apostle Paul-[2 Cor. 12:2-4], wherein dwells righteousness.

In Gen. 1:6, we find the initial usage of “tavek” in God’s Word. The first occurrence of this word refers to God’s order in the firmament, as He Divided the waters of the great deep, above the expanse of heavens or the waters outside the firmament, from waters inside this expanse, below the firmament. This paints a picture of a heavenly firmament akin to a cosmic bubble, bordered by an immense reservoir bordering the Universe’s edges.  Today’s firmament contains all the celestial bodies in Creation, but in the First Heaven and Earth, before the Creation of Man, only God’s Angels served the Almighty Creator. The Chief Archangel Lucifer was the first in command next to God, who led all the Angelic choirs, offering and Praising the Almighty for His Goodness and Grace, [Job 38:7]. God Created Angels with freedom of will, so they all had a choice to obey God’s Will or not. Gen. 1:1-2 tells us more about God’s Creation:

Gen. 1:1-2

1 In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of the Almighty God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. God being the Perfect, Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent Creator, He did not create the Heavens and Earth as it was found in verse 2, “without form and an empty waste,” and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep.

Gen. 1:1 is the beginning of the First Heaven and Earth.
Gen. 1:2 says; “Earth was without form” means it Became a formless Void, in the destruction resulting from the rebellion and unsuccessful coup‘ of Lucifer. This is why Darkness [H2822-choshek: misery, death, destruction, wickedness, sorrow, ignorance], #6 was introduced with these calling cards of the evil one, moving upon the faces of the Deep. In 2 Pet. 3:6, referred to above; the world that was then, being over-flowed with water, perished. This flood does not refer to Noah’s flood in the 2nd Heavens and Earth, but to the destruction of the 1st Heaven and Earth in Gen. 1:2, flooded by Lucifer. Then the Almighty Spirit of God moved upon and inspected the faces of the waters, His Presence being the precursor to calling Light back into unified existence over the faces of the waters. 

Gen. 1:3-6  And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, One day.

Since the Sun, Moon and Stars were not created till the 4th day, the presence of God Himself, His presence was the Source of light [Rev. 22:5] that was Good [H2896; towb–morally good, beautiful, excellent, joyful, fruitful, lovely, cheerful, virtuous, kind]#7 all Godly traits, in the first 3 days of Creation Week. Since Lucifer, the head of the fallen angels separated himself from God’s light in declaring war and rebellion against God Almighty, God divided [H914-badal; disjoined, distinguish diverse things, shut out, banned, severed],#8 the darkness from the light.

God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, so the absence of light depicts the presence of someone besides the Almighty who caused the Creation to become a formless and empty wasteland. This was caused by the rebel angel Lucifer who deceived 1/3 of these angels into following him in a revolt against the Almighty [Rev. 12:3-4], declaring war against Him; [Rev. 12:7-9]. The fallen angels now constitute the devil spirit realm under the dragon, [Isa. 14:12-29]. This act of rebellion by Lucifer was the act of “Original Sin” which activated “spiritual Entropy,” since corruption was introduced in the angelic realm of spirits, when Lucifer tempted the Morning Stars to follow him in a revolt against the Almighty, resulting in Satan taking 1/3 of the angels down with him, when he was kicked out of heaven, and cast down to Earth. We then find Lucifer on Earth after his failed coup’-as the Serpent in the Garden of Eden, [Ezek. 28:12-19, Gen. 3:1-7] after the Creation record of the 2nd Heavens and Earth, tempting Eve to steal Adam’s dominion over the Earth. This record of temptation shows Adam’s dominion was delivered into Satan’s hands, to do with or dispose of as he liked. One of these options was choosing to tempt the Lord Jesus Christ with this dominion, that of course, he rejected. [Luke 4:6]. This also introduced the corruption of physical Entropy into the idyllic state of the world of the Second Heavens and Earth in the Garden of Eden, [Gen. 3:6ff, Rom. 1:18-32, 8:21-22]. Below is a summary of Thermodynamic Laws of nature currently in force, a result of the Fall of Adam & Eve from the perfect state God made for them in Eden.

The record of this terrestrial paradigm of the Genesis 1 Creation record on the Second day tells us in verses 6-8;

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament [the expanse of the sky] in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters [below] from the waters [above].  7 And God made the firmament [the expanse] and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heavens. And there was evening and there was morning, a Second day.

Since God did not create the Sun, Moon, and Stars till the 4th day of Creation Week, in the Second Heavens and Earth, all the waters below the expanse of the firmament were concentrated on Earth. In context of the Creation of the First Heavens and Earth, the use of “tavek” in light of God’s ordering of all Creation, extends to include the entirety of our planet Earth. But the Earth of the First Heaven and Earth was not the same as the Earth we inhabit today, since man had not yet been created, nor had the Earth been appointed as the Garden home for Man or the Plant and Animal kingdoms. Also the Sun, Moon and Stars were not created until the fourth Day of Creation week in the 2nd Heavens and Earth. Thus, contrary to human Astronomical Science, the Earth preexisted the Sun, Moon and Stars in the firmament, and held all the water under the firmament of the heavens. Earth also remained the focus of God’s Presence with these waters under the Firmament, concentrated on Earth.

As we keep the Temple of Jerusalem, as the terrestrial paradigm of the North Pole in mind, the word “midst” above in [II Chron. 6:13], is “tavek” [H8432- the center, or bisection, so called from its being divided].10 As a terrestrial reflection of the celestial structure of the firmament, an important aspect of the Temple ground-plan is thus revealed, as we will see below.

The Sun’s Cycle of Precession

Starting with clear Biblical evidence of precession in Psalm 19, showing the Sun’s “dual year;” its precessional and annual cycles–the two prime standards for astronomical time. This differentiates the Sun’s dual year, first seen in it’s annual cycle, spending one month in each sign of the 12 Mazzaroth signs, as opposed to the retrograde precessional cycle, where it spends a “great month” or 2,160 solar years in each of the ecliptic 12 signs. As the Sun moves through all 12 signs of the tropical zodiac, the Sun completes its cycle of a “great year,” in about 25,920 solar years. Psalm 19:6 briefly refers to the Sun’s retrograde motion.

Psalm 19:4-6

4 Yet their voice [in evidence] goes out through all the earth, their sayings to the end [H7097-qatseh]#11 of the world [H8398-tebel]. #12 Of the heavens has God made a tent for the sun, 5 Which as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; and it rejoices as a strong man to run his course. 6 His is from the end [H7097] #13 of the heaven, and his circuit [H8622–tequphah]#14 unto the ends [H7098-Isa. 40:28, 41:5, 45:21-22; Jer. 49:36 Creator of the ends of the earth]#15 of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

“His going forth is from the end of the heaven… a reference to the Sun’s path through the ecliptic, so called because all the solar and lunar eclipses occur on it’s course. The words “going forth” in Hebrew are mowtsa [*H4161], meaning the dawn, the east, a gate, the rising of the sun. #16

Thus it refers to the place or gate of the rising of the Sun, also known as the vernal point of the Spring Equinox, the sign of the zodiac where the sun rises,  indicating the sun’s retrograde precessional movement, because the sun rises in a different “gate,” or successive zodiacal house on avg. every 2,160 years.

The sun’s annual cycle, or solar year is seen in “his circuit” above, which in the Hebrew is [H8622–tequphah]: or, “at the end of the year” [2 Chron. 24:23], #17 an obvious reference to this annual solar cycle. Thus we have a basic Biblical contrast between the two solar cycles. We find Joseph’s dreams in Genesis 37, revealing a greater depth on a Biblical testimony of precession.

Joseph’s 2nd dream in Gen. 37: 9-11 reveals a precessional context, with its use of stellar terms, like “eleven stars making obeisance” to his star or sign of the Bull, Taurus. These 12 “stars” of Joseph’s dream correlate with Jacob’s 12 sons in [Gen. 49, Deut. 33] forming the Sidereal zodiac. We also find that the Sun’s retrograde motion as the precession of the Vernal equinox, against a fixed background of the sidereal zodiac of the 12 signs on on the ecliptic. Thus Joseph’s 2nd dream reveals astronomical truth that his 1st dream with an agricultural theme, does not.

Genesis 37:5-11 
And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. [6] And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: [7] For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance [H7812]#18 to my sheaf. [8] And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign [H4427]#19 over us? Or shalt thou have dominion [H4910] #20  over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. [9] And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance [H7812]#21 to me. [10] And he told it to his father and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down [H7812]#22 ourselves to thee to the earth? [11] And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying. On the Hebrew zodiac, Taurus the Bull, was Joseph’s sign, split into 2 horns, for Ephraim and Mannasseh; [Num. 2:18-20, Deut. 33:17], his two sons. This allowed a substitution the rebellious tribe of Dan, in a circle of 12 tribes of Israel. This allowed for the Levitical 13th tribe to be placed in the center of the zodiac’s circle, with the pattern of the stars mirrored in Israel’s seed, as they camped around their Tabernacle in the wilderness of Sinai during their forty years of wandering. The Sun’s relation to the 13th tribe of Levites, may be an Intercalation allusion to a 13th month, aligning solar & lunar cycles in the Hebrew Calendar. The Levites, being the priestly tribe, had the charge of affairs for the Tabernacle, housing the Ark of the Covenant. An aspect of the Tabernacle’s celestial plan can be found in the edifice of the wooden framework that provided a foundation upon which the Tabernacle’s curtains [H3407]#23 (Ps. 104:2-3, Isa. 40:22, Ex. 26:26-36), hung. Their assembly was 48 units, each ten cubits high, and 1.5 cubits wide…#24 This implies a structure to these 12 zodiacal signs including their 36 decans, (12+36=48) divided into ten degree decans, showing not only God’s celestial order in the Tabernacle of the Sun [Ps. 19:4], but also marking the earthly Tabernacle as the focal point reflecting the spiritual light of God’s presence among His people during the Old Testament. This was established in the priestly order of service instituted in the Temple by King David, with 24 courses of priests, each serving twice during Israel’s calendar year, totaling 48 weeks. When the 3 weeks of Passover, Pentecost and the Feast of Tabernacles are included, wherein all the priests served, we have the 51 weeks of Israel’s luni-solar year, divided according to sacred and civil standards. The sacred year began in Nisan, the month of the spring Passover, while the civil year in the fall started in the seventh month–Tishri 1, the Day of Trumpets signaling the onset of Israel’s holiest month. This depicts the Creator’s light reflected in the celestial structure of Creation, ruling over the Hebrew’s timekeeping, manifest in the sacred priestly service and architecture of the Old Testament Tabernacle and Temple, fulfilled in Jesus Christ as King and High Priest, after Melchizedek’s order.

As stated above, the Hebrew words for “going forth” are mowtsa [*H4161], meaning the dawn, the east, a gate, the rising of the sun. Upon closer view,  the root of “mowtsa” [H4161], is [H3318–yatsah–to go, go forth, bring out in a great variety of applications]. #25 To Germinate or expand as a plant; [Gen. 8:19, Job 29:4-25, God knows the goings out and comings in of Leviathan;
Num. 33:2, Job 41:20-21, Isa. 13:10-13, 37:28-9, in reference to the serpentine constellations, or Dragon Decans like Draco, Hydra, Cetus, & Serpens]. The various serpent constellations mentioned here represent different areas of power in manifestation in the adversary’s Kingdom, and their part in the Celestial Gospel. God knows all that the enemy is up to, and by His perfect Omniscient Wisdom and foreknowledge, He knew He would need a special warrior class of Archangel, like Michael & his Angels, even before Lucifer’s failed heavenly revolt in the First Heaven and Earth. A Messianic Prophecy in Micah 5 sheds added light here.

Micah 5:1-2 

5:1 Now gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops; a state of siege has been placed against us. They shall smite the ruler of Israel with a rod (a scepter) on the cheek. 2 But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, you are little to be among the clans of Judah; [yet] out of you shall One come forth for Me who is to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old; [H6924-Qedem: positioned to the east, Gen. 2:8-eastward in Eden- is a positive connotation for East, as Gen. 11:2 is negative in reference to Babylon’s Astrology & the tower of Babel. #26 It also means “Antiquity;” [Ps. 74:12-15, 77:5-6, 11-12, 23:7-9]. This Hebrew noun is unusual in that it has both a geographical and temporal meaning, as does Precession, that refers to the four points of the compass, and the ages of the Precession of the Equinoxes. It occurs 61x in the Heb. OT, having a definite flavor of an idyllic state. #27 One Heb. synonym is [H5769–owlam, a word for ancient Days, or everlasting] that also means (eternity). Owlam- is what is hidden or concealed, to the vanishing point, time immemorial, from the most ancient times. [Gen. 6:4, 1 Sam. 27:8, Isa. 63:16, 64:4-5, Ps. 25:6, distant future-past, without end, perpetuity, everlasting time, in plural it means multiple ages], #28 as in the context of Precessional ages compared to Biblical dispensations, or Ages. This also carries with it the tone or spirit of an Age [zeitgeist] as seen in the signs and Constellation symbols tied to specific Ages of Precession. [see Plate 3 Chart below]

Micah 5:3-6 

3 Therefore shall He give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth; then what is left of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel. 4 And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; and they shall dwell [secure], for then shall He be great [even] to the ends of the earth. 5 And this [One] shall be our peace. When the Assyrian comes into our land and treads upon our soil and in our palaces, then will we raise against him seven shepherds and eight princes among men. 6 And they shall rule and waste the land of Assyria with the sword and the land of Nimrod within her [Assyria’s own] gates. Thus shall He [the Messiah] deliver us from the Assyrian [representing the opposing powers] when he comes into our land and when he treads on our borders.

The Plate 2 graphic of the Dendera Zodiac below shows the Pegasus Square, as a square scroll laid between the two Fishes of Pisces, with “Axis E” of this famed Egyptian Zodiac, running through the corner of it. As we stated in our website study on the Stars of the Dendera Zodiac: the main Taurus-Scorpius Axis of this zodiac, with the Leo-Aquarius axis, match the main axes that identify the Age of Taurus in the Bible, in Numbers 24:7-9. The context of Numbers 2 shows us the order of 12 tribes of Israel in their wilderness encampment, matching the zodiacal order of the 12 signs/constellations on the ecliptic. In this way, the Dendera Zodiac not only provides key evidence of Archaeology how the ancient Hebrews and Egyptians both utilized a practical knowledge of the precession of the equinoxes, but in the Hebrew’s case, they applied it directly to their belief in a prophecy of their coming redeemer, with Nature’s verification of the Celestial Gospel, in support of the Holy Writ of the Old Testament Scriptures, as the Creator spun the Sun, Moon and Stars in synch with His prefect Precessional timing in the Celestial Gospel.

Thus, the Zodiac of Dendera also provides strong supporting evidence from the history of Biblical Astronomy as to the belief in a coming redeemer, since this ancient Egyptian zodiac prophesies in very specific ways not only concerning the time he would appear, but also concerning his unique sacrifice via the very same celestial imagery utilized in the Bible. This important theme is set forth in John Lash’s realization of the presence of a 5th Axis on this Zodiac, from Spica, the brightest star in Virgo. #29 The Hebrew name for Spica [Al Zemach]-the Branch/offspring of God, [Jer. 23:5-6] is embodied in God’s only begotten Son– Jesus Christ. Spica is only one of just two stars specifically marked on the Dendera Zodiac, the other being Sirius, the central star linked to the flood stages of the Nile, and the Sothic Calendar, logging one of it’s oldest historical Calendar dates, 4241 BC. The 1461-year Sothic calendar also conforms to the 260-day pattern of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar [260 x 1461] that equals 365.25 x 1040 days, adhering to the pattern of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions, as they break down the windows of the precession of the equinoxes through the ages.

John Lash’s comments concerning this 5th Dendera Axis are enlightening when viewed in context of the history of the Hebrew’s in ancient Egypt with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses, as a forerunner of Christ, and Lawgiver of Israel, who led them through the wilderness unto the Promised Land. As Lash states in his unpublished book, The Skies in Memory:

“The Dendera Zodiac’s inventor was looking ahead to our time in the Piscean Age, when the spring equinox occurs under the tail of the western fish, since this is the time that the entire cycle culminated. With the spring equinox at this position in Pisces, the axial cross locks in unique alignment with the Galaxy.” Lash goes on to say that he considers the star “Spica… to be the master key to the Dendera Zodiac…”#29

The Dendera Zodiac marks our Piscean Age with the first appearance of the Branch and offspring of God, seen in how “Axis E“ referenced above, coincides with the star Spica and the opening of the Age of the Fishes, that later marked the moments of his birth in 3 BC.  In the Plate 2, chart above marking Axis E as the 5th axis of the Dendera Zodiac, extending from Spica, in the Virgin’s hand, via the North Pole in the Jackal’s paw, across the 2 fishes of Pisces to the Ram-headed altar on the periphery of the Dendera Zodiac, that neatly bisects this altar. The altar shows 4 Ram heads of the Egyptian idol Banebdjedet, of Mendes–sailing on his solar barque across the heavens, as pictured on the astronomical ceiling in the outer Hypostyle hall of the Temple of Hathor at Dendera. In the design of the famed circular Zodiac at Dendera, the internal [precessional time] & external [lunar-decans design] depicted a coordinated solar-lunar circuit. When Axis E [line unifying Virgo/ Leo, of the Great Sphinx] intersects Pisces the Fishes, it depicts the alignment with the Spring/Vernal Equinox– a precessional prophecy of Christ’s birth. As Axis E extends to the Zodiac’s periphery crossing the lunar decan of a 4-headed Ram god of Egypt, whose 4 faces orient to the four directions of the Compass.

Like the positive aspects of the Cherubim were depicted, as a special class of Angels who are always prominent in God’s throne-room, so the four-headed Ram god of Egypt, whose four faces are a shadow of these “four royal signs” on the zodiac, as the Cherubim ruling the four-corners or celestial pillars of heaven, previously seen in Numbers 24. This collective pairing of 8 idol gods– the Ogdoad spirits [four Diamon pairs], held the Cardinal direction positions in the 1st Heavens and Earth. Were they the key actors in its flooding, under Lucifer? [2 Pet. 2:4 “hell“=[G5020-tartarus; confined in a special place for judgment due to their unique sin; Jude 6. #31  In Greek Myth, Tartarus was the deepest area in the underworld, a prison and place of torment and suffering for the wicked, akin to the lake of fire, and the second death in Scripture or a place of destruction. The Satanic angel condemned to the bottomless pit called Apollyon in Greek, [G630], [Abaddon-H11] in Hebrew, [Rev. 9:11]. It was also the name of the god who symbolized the pit; with Sheol in Job 26:6-7, Ps. 88:10-12.]

As the mythology of the Great Sphinx preserved some truths of Gen. 49:8-10, and the Jupiter-Regulus triple union starting Sept 14th 3 BC, with the birth of Christ, so also we find correlations to the flood of 2 Pet. 3:6, that destroyed the 1st Heavens and Earth, in Dendera’s extension of Axis E. The Almighty-Creator God used the 10 Plagues over Egypt to prove His supreme, Omnipotent power over the false idols of Egypt. Each plague was directed at the impotent gods of the Egyptian pantheon, so that Egypt would witness first-hand, the identity and power of Jehovah. As the Lord Jehovah is the only Self-existent and Eternal God, Moses relayed the message God told him on the holy Mount, (Exo 7:5). Jehovah showed He was the Almighty Sovereign–Creator in these 10 plagues, and that He controls all that exists on the Earth. The Lord used Moses as an apostle by whom the plagues would be brought to bear over the Pharaoh and Egypt, with a primary goal that the plagues would cause Pharaoh to free the nation of Israel from slavery.

The List of 10 Plagues over Egypt

  1. Aaron’s staff turned the Nile waters to Blood: Exodus7:14-25. The idols judged: Hapi: the God of annual flooding; Osiris: The Nile River was his bloodstream.
  2. Aaron’s staff again brought the plague of Frogs: Exodus 8:1-15. The gods judged: Hapi and Hegt the goddess seen with a frog’s head related to fertility.
  3. Lice: These were tiny, stinging, blood sucking gnats from the dust. Exodus 8:16 -18. The god judged: Seb: the earth god.
  4. Flies that came in swarms: Exodus 8:20-32. The gods judged: Hathor: the goddess of protection; Vatchi: fly God.
  5. Livestock die: Exodus 9:1-7. The god judged: Apis: the bull god.
  6. Boils on the body: Exodus 9:8-12. The god judged: Sekhmet: goddess of epidemics.
  7. Hail and Fire: Exodus 9:13-15. The gods judged: Nut; the sky goddess; Seth: God of storms; Shu: God of the atmosphere/wind.
  8. Locusts: Exodus 10:1-20. The gods judged: Sirius: crop god; Serapia: protector of crops.
  9. Darkness: Exodus 10:21-29. The gods judged: Ra: the sun god who was most worshipped God in Egypt.
    10. Death of the First Born: Exodus 11:1-12:36. The gods judged: Heget: goddess of birth; Min; the God of reproduction. Deliverance from death was only thru the offering of the Passover lamb. As a result of the plagues; both Pharaoh and the Egyptians beg Moses and Israel to leave Egypt. God fulfilled His promise to free Israel. #32

The ancient iconography of the Egyptian 4 headed Ram god was part of a pantheon of 8 idol gods–the Ogdoad, or 9 Ennead idols with Atum/Khnum, the Nile waters Supreme male guardian, in four pairs of idol consorts in ancient varied Myths, in On-Heliopolis, & Thebes. Their first reference is a primeval-first Earth mound, arising out of the Chaotic waters of Egyptian Creation Myth, all sharing a common source in the demiurge-Nun & Naunet’s watery Chaos. Kek & Kauket–was darkness innate in the waters. The denizens of the Deep; opposite the Material world of the living, mirrored a Concealed and invisible-Amun & Amaunet-air goddess. While Heh & Hauhet–were the undirected watery chaos extending to infinity. These 8 gods of the Ogdoad, ruling the 1st cosmos, conceived as a collective in Four pair, of Ram-Headed man-wife couples, forming the idol-god Banebdjedet. Can Egyptian Creation Myth, shed light on the destruction of the 1st Heavens and Earth in Genesis 1:1-2? 

 Atum gave rise to the male Wind god Shu and his wife-sister, Tefnut; whose union made an empty void between the Earth god Geb-tied to the Lice plague,  and the Sky goddess Nut, linked to the Hail plague. In comparing the Hebrew and Egyptian texts, where the union of these spirits of the god and goddess of Earth and Sky, caused an empty void to form, similar to the Bible’s formless void– “tohu va bohu,” What intrigues me; in Gen. 1:2 is the seeming symbiotic relation in the Chaos and Darkness of the formless void, where the confusion powers the darkness, in the heart of this Chaos. This darkness is opposed to the light, but its symbiotic nature brings to mind the structure of the 4 pairs of man-wife couples seen above. Since the enemy is parasitic, having no good original thoughts of his own, he knows he can’t top the Creator’s perfection, so as the Adversary can’t top a symbiotic symmetry that the Almighty-Creator must have first installed in the Angelic cohorts of the 1st Heaven & Earth, the serpent corrupted God’s first plan for Angels, to maximize his control over the counterfeit order of his spirit realm.

As we follow Axis E–the unity line between Virgo and Leo of the Great Sphinx, at the one end of Dendera’s Zodiac, this unity line embodies other marriages between the four pair of Ogdoad couples, with one uniting the Divine twins Shu (at left) and Tefnut (at right, lioness-headed); or Adam and Eve, that the Tempting Serpent used to divide them, causing the fall of mankind in Eden. the Gemini Zodiac sign... - Ancient EGYPT - مصر القديمة ...

The root of the original Hebrew-Syriac word for “Gemini” according to Seiss; “does not run so much on the idea of two brought forth at the same birth as “twins,” but more on the idea of something completed, as a year come to the full, or a long betrothal period brought to consummation in perfected marriage.” #34  This lends to our grasp, not of a short period in Original Paradise, but a longer period closer to a 2,160 yr. Precessional Age.

The following Chart shows how Precessional Ages correlate with the Biblical Administrations, revealing a consistent progression of spiritual themes as God’s Plan of the Ages to deliver mankind via the Messiah unfolds. This provides the overarching context for God’s redemption and restoration plan for Mankind and Creation, in the redeeming work of Christ-a Centerpiece of the Ages. The ancient Egyptian, version of Gemini’s Zodiac Sign seen in the Divine twins Shu and Tefnut, would thus match the Precessional Age of Gemini with dates from 6480-4320 BC, seen below corresponding to Adam and Eve in Original Paradise.

This march of the Precessional Ages is recorded in ancient star maps like the Dendera zodiac, in a recognition of the axes built into its structure. As noted, the concept of this progression of Bible History based on the Ages of Precession, is a general introduction, where the apparent links to the Age of Gemini, to the Bible Age or Administration of Original Paradise, when God made, formed and Created Adam and Eve, as the first man and wife, are detailed. The dates of the Precessional Age of Gemini fall in line with general parameters of dating a “Young Earth Creation,” but with added supporting legitimacy seen in the Biblical evidence of Precession of the Equinoxes, going back to Joseph through Abraham and Adam. The solid Biblical evidence of Precession proven in Scripture, was first presented on my [Try-God.com] website in early 2003.

In his classic book “The Gospel in the Stars,” Dr. Joseph Seiss says: “Regarding the sign Gemini, “the Twins were said to be initiated into all the Mysteries, and were invited guests at a great Marriage, where a severe conflict occurred.”#35   In Greek Myth they were considered invincible warriors and specifically seen as friends and protectors of navigation, as on the ship from Alexandria that Paul sailed on from Malta, on his journey to Rome; named Castor and Pollux, [Acts 28:11]. In myth, as patrons of great powers over the four winds & good fortune over-seas, [Jer. 49:36] they were in company too with Jason and his crew of Argonauts contending for the Golden Fleece; the sacrificial hide of the Lamb. Seiss notes that in ancient stellar pictures of the Denderah Zodiac, the twin figures were not of one sex, as seen below where a man is seen hand-in-hand walking with a woman, and have been referred to as Adam & Eve. #36

 In the Prophecies of the Celestial Gospel in the 12 constellation-signs, the Man is the 1st Adam, while 2nd Adam-Jesus Christ, is with his foreshadowed Bride-the Messiah-Prince, in the 1st Adam with Eve; the 2nd Adam; destined for a glorious union with his Bride in everlasting dominion, with the Church of his spiritual body.

In the upper left corner of this Quadrangular Zodiac of Dendera we find the sign Gemini, as a man-wife couple sailing together in their barque, similar to the image below from the circular Dendera zodiac.

Egyptian GEMINI Zodiac (Horoscope)

For our purposes here, it appears plausible that Gemini’s zodiacal position  prior to the Age of Taurus, depicted as the first couple; Adam & Eve certainly fits the chronology of Precessional Ages, according to our understanding of the Biblical Administrations. The Age of Gemini would have been the Age of Innocence in the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve, made in God’s image and likeness, in Eden, with dominion over all the earth, [Gen. 1:26].

In these above renditions of the circular Dendera Zodiac we can see Gemini as the man-wife couple circled in red above, and below, between Taurus the Bull, and Cancer the Crab, or in ancient Egypt-the Scarabaeus.

The Figure 9 graphic below provides a summary of the complete cycle of the Ages of Precession as a Sine Wave, with significant Biblical Patriarchs from Adam leading to Christ-the 2nd Adam. Here the Age of Gemini matches with Adam, omitting the attempt to justify 13 Billion years of “evolution” in an effort to exclude the Almighty Creator from His Creation.

Creator’s Deliberate Design in the Pi and Phi Ratios.

We have shared a good portion of material on on the geometric keys of the Phi ratio in God’s Word, in the last 22 years, both on this blog and the [try-god.com] website. We have made a strong case on the science of the sacred geometry of both the Pi and Phi ratios during this time, that shows the evidence of how our Almighty Creator employed these geometric principles in His Creation of the Universe, and the Four kingdoms of Life. But we are presenting key evidence today, that we have not previously shown, regarding the importance of the Phi Ratio in this study, which makes our case even stronger. First, lets review the context of the application of the Phi and Pi ratios in the Hebrew Tabernacle and Temple, as the Ark of the Covenant was first transferred to Israel’s Temple, from the Tabernacle. We also are taking a special interest in how the Heavenly Father has emphasized the role of His only Begotten Son as the Chief Corner–Stone and the head of the spiritual body of his Church.

II Chron 5:1-14 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God. 2Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.  3Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month. 4And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark. 5And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up. 6Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

7And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the Cherubims: 8For the Cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the Cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above. 9And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day. 10There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. 11And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course: 12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:) 13It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music and praised the LORD saying, For He is good; for His mercy endures forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

We have shown in past research that the ground-plans for the Tabernacle and the Temple were closely related to the same sacred geometric principles of the Pi and Phi Ratios. The terrestrial blueprint mirrors a Venn Diagram at the astronomical North pole, [Fig. B.]. These two altars depict the bipolar structure of the heavens, seen both in the galactic poles of two great celestial circles of the ecliptic and the Equator in northern skies, as a reflection of the Earth’s Magnetic and Geographic bipolar system. The interplay between these galactic poles exhibits a precession of the poles, as the pole star had receded from the archaic pole–Thuban of Draco, to the star Polaris of Ursa Minor. Within the common space shared between the poles of the two circles moving in opposite directions, lies the Venn Diagram or the astronomical vesica of the North Pole. The quote below from Nigel Pennick shows us how original principles of “sacred geometry” are preserved in the dimensions and measures of the Tabernacle & Temple in the elements of their walls, furniture, columns, clothing, altars, architecture & orientation. This divine celestial plan modeled in the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle, is the basis of the “sacred geometry” adopted by Freemasons and others before them, who tainted these concepts in the defiled context of their mysticism and astrology, cut from their authentic roots in the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs. This study endeavors to return this Astronomy to its genuine roots, dispensing with corrupt astrological influences and pagan mythology of various ancient cultures and occult secret societies.

Figure A illustrates the double square rectangle, geometry based on the phi ratio, providing key aspects of both the “pattern of the Temple and Tabernacle” of Israel. [Heb. 8:5, Exod. 25:9, 40]

King Solomon obeyed the will of God by having the Ark of the Covenant brought into the Temple to dedicate it, during the Feast of Tabernacles, in the most sacred seventh month of Tishri. During this time: the trumpeters and 120 priests and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD…Like the fallen angels in the choral units of their first estate [Job 38:7], the priests as trumpeters and singers were in one accord, in making one sound in worship and praise to God the Creator. This O.T. account foreshadows a time in the future, when the body of Christ fully supersedes Lucifer and his fallen angels in their original ministry of worshipful songs in praise to Almighty God. This record of the transfer of the Ark of the Covenant from the Tabernacle to the Temple is important because the Ark represented the presence of God among His people. The God-given architectural blueprints for both the Tabernacle and Temple were designed to embody the framework of the celestial structure of Creation in miniature, on the terrestrial level, as a reflection of heaven on the earth.

This view is supported in the following quote from Nigel Pinnock, who details some key elements in the pattern given by God to David: “The Tabernacle stood inside a court whose geometry was a double square [1 x 2 rectangle], 100 cubits long by 50 cubits wide. Inside the double square enclosure was a triple square 30 cubits long and 10 cubits wide. Its walls were built of wood planks 1.5 cubits wide and 10 cubits high, held in line by strong horizontal bars of wood. The whole structure was covered with skins sewn together in strips 30 cubits long by 4 cubits wide. The Tabernacle was placed in the court towards the west, with its entrance oriented east-wards, so that according to Josephus: “when the Sun arose it might send its first rays upon it.” The Tabernacle’s interior was divided into two compartments, a scheme which was copied later in the Temple…..The outer compartment called the Holy Place, was a double square 20 by 10 cubits, whilst the inner compartment, the Holy of Holies, comprised a single square. As the height of the Tabernacle’s ceiling was also 10 cubits, the Holy of Holies enclosure was a perfect cube that held the Ark of the Covenant. The Altar of Sacrifice was the outer equivalent of the Ark of the Covenant. It stood at the center of the outer of the two squares of the enclosure. The altar represented one of the two poles at the center of two squares–each upon its own center of polarity...” 2 “The Temple measures, like the Tabernacle before it, were precisely detailed: [I Chronicles 28, II Chronicles 3]. A triple square double the size of the Tabernacle, and the walls of the Temple were hewn stone lined inside with wood overlaid with gold. The interior comprised a double square rectangular holy place, and a single square Holy of Holies. The interior was 20 cubits high, making the Holy of Holies again, a cubic enclosure. At the very center of the Holy of Holies stood the Ark of the Covenant, which formerly had occupied the central point of the Holy of Holies of the Tabernacle… The entrance to the Temple was 5 cubits in width, and opened from a porch which comprised two squares of 10 x 10 cubits. It was this porch which supported the two pillars…Jachin & Boaz.” The Tabernacle/Temple ground plans of Israel show a heavenly image of eastward access to God’s presence, via the High Priest’s annual ministry inside the holiest of all. As Pinnock says, the brazen altar of burnt offering: “represented one of two poles at the center of two squares–each on its own center of polarity.”3# This bipolar system of two poles-the ecliptic and Equator reflected in earthly counterparts of the altars, in both the holy of holies and the holy place.

The geometric basis of the foundation underlying the structure of the Hebrew Tabernacle and Temple is called a Vesica Piscis. The sacred geometry of the Vesica Piscis is rich in symbolism as we will see in the graphics below. In Plate 1, we have 4 illustrations that show varying symbolic key references that we will explore to extract their wisdom.

The Geometric Nature of the Vesica Piscis

“The straight lines and angles of geometry symbolize the limitations of our physical world, while the curves and circles symbolize infinite possibilities of the spiritual realm.” — Hasidic teaching.

In geometry, the Vesica Piscis is not just a visually appealing shape, but a lens-shaped figure that embodies mathematical precision. It includes key proportions and ratios, like the square root of 3 and the ratio of the width to its height, that is the square root of 3 divided by 2. These precise ratios give the Vesica Piscis a sense of harmony and balance, based in the study of sacred geometry. As our gaze explores the deeper meanings of the Hasidic quote above, when applied to the vesica piscis, below we find the symbolism of the product of two infinite realms. This is a metaphor of the universe, known in Hebrew as “Olam”, whose etymology is from “hidden”, the implication being that the universe is the place where God is “hidden”. That is to say, the infinite God is hidden in the finite universe, the two intersecting circles representing this idea. #4


The mathematical roots and ratios found in the Vesica Piscis.
The mathematical roots √2, √3 and √5 are found in the Vesica as seen above. These square roots continue infinitely beyond the decimal point, without a repeating pattern. These numbers are found not only in sacred structures like the Hebrew Temple, and other ancient cultures, but also throughout nature.

 The Energy Field of Vesica Piscis

In Illust. 1 above; the quotient of any Fibonacci number and its predecessor approaches Phi (34/21 = 1.618) equal to the golden ratio, 1:1.618. A rectangle unevenly divided will result in one square and one rectangle, with sides @ 1:1, with a new rectangle in exact proportions to the 1st rectangle 1:1.618. The Phi rectangle in Illust. 1 – a Golden Rectangle, matches the 2 rectangles in Illust. 2 above, show both the “measure of the fish,” from Archimedes and Pythagoras, as Christ is reflected in the sacred geometry of the North Astronomical Vesica, below in Fig. B. First, we see Christ in an Illust. 2; Measure of the Fish, amidst the Golden Rectangles, as the circles overlap in the North Pole Vesica, in Plate 2 and Figure B below, with Christ as Cepheus-the enthroned King, at the right hand of the Almighty, in the north skies.

Between his feet is our current Pole Star-Polaris, of Ursa Minor, which has overtaken the archaic pole star of Thuban, in Draco’s tail, at the apex of a right Equilateral triangle holding Ursa Minor from 5,000 years ago. At first look, an analysis of this image shows two interlocked Vesica Circles containing 3 decans of Draco the dragon, Cepheus the Crowned king, and the little bear of Ursa Minor between them. Inside this Vesica at the North pole we find the same geometric image in Illustration 4, divided by a red center line forming the common base of two equilateral triangles, one on the right containing most of Ursa Minor, while the other on the left holds a large part of Cepheus the crowned king. This is critical because it depicts the transition of the North Pole star from Thuban of Draco, to Polaris at the tail end of Ursa Minor, the little bear, located between the feet of King Cepheus. This relates a dialogue and celestial chronicle of the fall of the Dragon and the rise of King Jesus, the Morning Star. Since the dragon was expelled from his rulership over angelic cohorts, he was supplanted by Jesus Christ, whose rule over Creation with a rod of iron is everlasting. The 2 upper lines of the right Equilateral triangle tell a story as their bases form the bipolar structure of the North pole, with the stationary pole of the ecliptic, around which the equatorial pole moves, accounts for the precession of the pole star from Thuban to Polaris. With Christ’s perfect Sacrifice, Resurrection and Ascension he took dominion from the dragon as seen in the pole star underfoot of King Cepheus.

As the Cornerstone prophecy in Luke 20:17b-18 tells us; “The [very] Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief Stone of the corner. 18 Everyone who falls on that Stone will be broken  [in pieces]; but upon whomever It falls, It will crush him [to be winnowed by him and [k]scatter him as dust].” [Ps.118:22 [rosh-H7218; head, Job 22:12, Zech. 4:7] Here we see Jesus Chief Cornerstone at the peak of the Heavens, as the Astronomical Northern Pole Star and apex of the Great Pyramid the King ruling from his exclusive roost not only over all those who opposed and rejected him, but also as Head [highest & supreme] of his spiritual body-God’s unified People! [Eph. 5:23]

The 3rd Illustration from Plate 1, above called the “Cosmic Egg,’ can embody the idea of a “union of opposites,” in varied contexts. As the Vesica Piscis itself is a union of Heaven and Earth, we can also see how the Ecliptic and the Equator overlay one another, both in the plans of the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle, and also on celestial maps. But, from a spiritual view, we see Christ unifying his spiritual body of the Church, that includes both Jews and Gentiles, who shared very little in common in the OT, as we find in Ephesians 2:11-16; [Ampl. Bible]

Ephesians 2:11-16, 20-22
11 Therefore, remember that at one time you were Gentiles (heathens) in the flesh, called Uncircumcision by those who called themselves Circumcision, [itself a [e]mere mark] in the flesh made by human hands. 12 [Remember] that you were at that time separated (living apart) from Christ [excluded from all part in Him], utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the [Messianic] promise [with no knowledge of or right in God’s agreements, His covenants]. And you had no hope (no promise); you were in the world without God. 13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near. 14 For he is [himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us, 15 By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its decrees and ordinances [which He annulled]; that he from the two might create in himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace. 16 And [He designed] to reconcile to God both [Jew and Gentile, united] in a single body by means of his cross, thereby killed the mutual enmity and bringing the feud to an end.

The amazing spiritual unity that is now shared in the body of Christ between Jews and Gentiles is only due to the singular love of Christ, who sacrificed himself the on the cross, for our salvation. Finally, in the 4th Illustration of the Golden Rectangle of Plate 1 above, we see not only Equilateral Triangles of the North pole, that can embody the triangular sides of the Great Pyramid, but also 2 triangles in the center Vesica at the Pyramid’s apex of the Chief Cornerstone. This Plate 1 graphic shows a line that could separate two of the triangular sides of the Great Pyramid, [Eph. 2:11-12] now bound together in Christ’s unity of love, [Eph. 2:13-16].

Ephesians 2:20-22 20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone. 21 In him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (increase, grow) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. 22 In him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.

As we spiritually grow together in the Church of the Body of Christ, we grow in a Golden Symphony, increasing in our capacity to love according to the perfect standard and “pattern of the Tabernacle“ that Christ himself laid down and abides by. It is the same perfect standard that the Heavenly Father employed in Creation, [Rom. 1:19-20]. As we follow the dictates of this perfect standard, we embody the Christ in us, and on this path to glory–Christ indeed will be fully formed in us as we stay faithful to this standard, [Gal. 2:20].

Galatians 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

“One very unusual feature of the Great Pyramid is the concavity of its four faces, which makes the monument an 8-sided figure, rather than 4-sided like most of the pyramids. In other words, the four sides are hollowed to the inside. This concavity is executed to such an extraordinary degree of precision as to complement the mystery of the structure. From any ground position, it is invisible to the naked eye and only noticed from the air; indeed it was discovered by accident by a British air force pilot flying over the Giza Plateau in 1940, who didn’t miss the chance at this photograph. during the Spring Equinox (21 March). Flinders Petrie voiced a similar observation already, when he noted a hollowing in the core masonry in the center of each face that the courses of the core had dips of as much as 1®.” The concavity was presumed to prevent the casing stones from sliding, i.e. to better bond the nucleus to the casing.” Another theory-a more aesthetic one was: concave faces are more pleasing to the eye, when the value of Phi, is equal to the secant of the face angle of the inner triangle, is also equal to a ratio of the Pyramid slant height and 1/2 its base-length, that applies to every one of the 8 right-angle triangular faces. Each of the 8-sided faces confirms the Golden Ratio so that it is inscribed into a Golden Rectangle in which the height/base = Phi. It is beyond any doubt that the dimensions of the Great Pyramid are not a coincidence conforming to Pi or Phi.”#7 It is more & more obvious the Giza Plateau in general and specifically the Great Pyramid, were designed to encode sophisticated scientific knowledge.

A pyramid based on Phi varies by only 0.025% from the Great Pyramid’s estimated dimensions. Phi is the only number that has the mathematical property of its square being one more than itself:

Φ + 1 = Φ²   or   1.618… + 1 = 2.618…

By applying the above Pythagorean equation to this, we can construct a right triangle, of sides a, b and c, or in this case a Golden Triangle of sides √Φ, 1 and Φ, which looks like this:

This creates a pyramid with a base width of 2 (i.e., two triangles above placed back-to-back on each side of the pyramid) and a height of the square root of Phi, 1.272. This ratio of the height to the base is 0.636.

According to Wikipedia, the Great Pyramid has a base of 230.4 meters (755.9 feet) and an estimated original height of 146.5 meters (480.6 feet). This also creates a height to  base ratio of 0.636, which indicates it is indeed a Golden Triangle, at least to within three significant decimal places of accuracy. If the base is indeed exactly 230.4 meters then a perfect golden ratio would have a height of 146.5367. This varies from the estimated actual dimensions of the Great Pyramid by only 0.0367 meters (1.4 inches) or 0.025%, which could be just a measurement or rounding difference. #9

A pyramid based on golden triangles would have other interesting properties.  The surface area of the four sides would be a golden ratio of the surface area of the base. The area of each triangular side is the base x height/2, or 2 x Φ/2 or Φ. The surface area of the base is 2 x 2, or 4. So four sides is 4 x Φ / 4, or Φ for the ratio of sides to base. #10

The Fibonacci sequence ties directly to the Golden ratio because if you take any of two successive Fibonacci numbers, their ratio is very close to the Golden ratio. As the numbers get higher, the ratio increases to closer Phi values of 1.618. For example the ratio of 3/5 = 1.666. But the ratio of 13/21= 1.625. With even higher, numbers the ratio of 21/34 = 1.618. These numbers are all successive numbers in the Fibonacci sequence, as these numbers are applied to the proportions of a rectangle, called a Golden rectangle, known as one of the most beautiful and visually satisfying of all geometric forms – hence, the Golden ratio is pervasive in artistic expression. The golden rectangle also ties to the Golden spiral, as it generates the adjacent squares of Fibonacci dimensions. This Golden Spiral is defined as a logarithmic spiral, seen in nature affirming the basis of growth life in the plant, animal, human and spirit kingdoms of life. It is also built-into the structure of the universe, as the logarithmic spiral appears in spiral arms of galaxies. #11

The purity of artistic expression mentioned above in connection with the Golden Rectangle was seen in the early 20th century when archaeologists opened the tomb at Saqqara of the Egyptian architect Khesi-Ra, (an Imhotep contemporary), who was the chief of doctors in the 27th century BC, the main writer and architect of the king and above all a carver. There were 11 boards in his tomb. At first, Egyptologists accepted these panels as false doors, but later it was noticed that there was the proportion 1 : root (5) on the panel [Phi = (1+root(5))/2]. When the height of Khesi-Ra is divided into 18 even segments the navel [of the ideal man] is exactly where one expects to find it according to the classic canon 11:18. The numbers 11 and 18 are close to the ratio of Phi; and they belong to a sequence very much like Fibonacci– (Lucas) sequence composed of the numbers: 2, 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 18, 29, etc., where the ratio between two successive elements tends similarly to Phi. #12

Vesica Piscis 265 153

The graphic below shows another view of the precession of the poles as the  interlocking wheels of the ecliptic and Equator, with the fish shaped lens of the vesica between them. This “vessel of the fish” is formed from the lozenge of these two interlocking circles, centered o each other’s perimeter. We see the import of Archimedes’ formula of the “Measure of the fish,” to geometry and mathematics in the ratio of its height to its length [153:265], as it represented the nearest whole number approximation of the square root of three, with the controlling ratio of equilateral triangles.#13  In ancient Greece, Pythagoras endorsed 153 as the denominator of the closest fraction to the square root of 3 [265/153], known to the “ratio of the fish” drawn between the two interlocking vesica circles, on each other’s circumference. This provides a basis where we can explore the genuine aspects of the Creator’s application of mathematics and geometry in His order of Creation.

This view powerfully depicts how the Temple and Tabernacle symbolized God’s celestial design of the heavens, seen in their two altars, mirroring the 2 poles of the ecliptic and the Celestial Equator. This agrees with many principles seen in the pattern of God’s Intelligent Design in His Creation. Since the “pattern of the Tabernacle” contains the phi ratio also known as the “divine proportion” or golden section we can see definitive Biblical evidence that this universally recognized standard of measure is truly divine in origin, since the dimensions of these sacred architectural structures were given by revelation from God to Moses and King David.

A goal of Biblical Archaeo-Astronomy is to adopt a fresh view of archaeology of Biblical artifacts like the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle, viewed through the lens of principles of Biblical Astronomy. This allows us to catch new glimpses of glories long hidden from the astrologers and empiricists, whose practices for too long have clouded the inherent grandeur of the Creator’s sacred architecture. By liberating the divine blueprint of the Temple and Tabernacle from a profane orientation that has served to distort its original pattern, perhaps a new light can be shed upon the true Godly design and purposes hidden in the divine blue–prints and architecture. By allowing God’s Word to speak for itself in this key  area, we can introduce a fresh perspective to the field of Archaeo-Astronomy, emphasizing the liberating power of adopting a genuine Biblical perspective in this meaningful area of research. We should keep in mind here that this double-square, (1x 2 rectangle) ground-plan configuration of the Tabernacle’s court containing the phi ratio, we find not only in the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant [Ex. 25:10], but also in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid. The dynamic celestial equator, the second circle secular in nature, ties to both the civil calendar year and earthly Equator as it is mirrored above into the heavens. The movement of this equatorial pole around the static pole of the ecliptic is what is known as the precession of the poles. The intersection points of the ecliptic and the Celestial Equator known as equinoctial points, which we call the Spring and Fall equinox, days when the length of daylight is equal to the dark of night. The altar in the Holy of Holies, holding the Ark of the Covenant is mirrored in the pole of the ecliptic, around which the equatorial pole moves, both wheels, interlocked in form of a Venn Diagram, depicting God’s personal presence among His people. In the OT, God’s presence was only accessed annually as the people obeyed the tenets of the Law carried out by the High Priest, to cover for their sins. The pattern of eastern access seen above, holds true not only for Solomon’s Temple of the OT, but also remains in the later Temple in Ezekiel 43. Let’s take a detailed look at how the return of Christ integrates this theme of eastern access in the Temple and Tabernacle.

Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east: [2] And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory. [3] And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face. [4] And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. [5] So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.

God’s people are no longer dependent upon sacrifices of bulls & goats, by a High Priest that only enter God’s presence once a year, but have continual access to the Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ, the High Priest after Melchisedek’s order. As seen in other studies on this site, the planet Jupiter was known by the Hebrew name Sedeq, showing the link with Jupiter and Melchisedek the High Priest. The Jews saw the Messiah as the royal offspring of David “the Sedeq Branch” (Jer. 23:5 Jehovah–Tsidkenu). Moreso, the word Sedeq is tied to Melek-(King) and combined to form Melchisedek, the Righteous King.12

Hebrews 7:11
If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? [Heb 10:19 -20] Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; If Jesus was not a man of flesh and bone as he called himself in his resurrected body, then he could not have been the perfect sacrifice required-the death of a sinless man, to redeem humanity, and we would remain unsaved!  This is completed in a final Paradise Administration referred to in Rev. 21-22. We find this in the reference to Jesus Christ as the “no more curse” in Rev. 22:3, who healed the curse that was put upon man resulting in Adam’s fall in  Gen. 3:17. Rev. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: In Heb. 7:13 above, Solomon set the brazen scaffold in the midst of the court, between the altars of the holy place, and the holiest of all. The configuration of these two altars mirror the basic structure of the alignment of Earth’s polar axis, depicted in the graphic below, [Figure C.]. We can see how the geographic and magnetic poles on Earth are reflected in the North Poles of the ecliptic and the Equator, in the heavens in view of Figure C below.

As we keep the Temple of Jerusalem, the terrestrial paradigm of the North Pole in mind, the word “midst” above in II Chron. 6:13, is “tavek” [H8432]#14 meaning the center, or bisection, so called from its being divided.16 As a terrestrial reflection of the celestial structure of the firmament, a key aspect of the Temple plan is revealed as we consider some other places in God’s Word where this Hebrew word “tavek” occurs. The first use of tavek is in Gen. 1:6 referring to the order of the firmament, dividing the midst of internal great deep waters from out-side waters of the firmament, of the heavens. This depicts the firmament as a vast cosmic bubble, containing all the celestial bodies in the created Universe, bordered by an immense reservoir. This terrestrial paradigm is not limited to a figure of speech like the Temple or Tabernacle of Israel, but by the use of “tavek” in this context of God’s ordering of all Creation, it naturally includes the entirety of planet Earth.

Genesis 1 tells us that the waters inside the firmament are linked to Earth, whose continents are bisected at their geographical center by the Great Pyramid on the Giza Plateau. This memorial type of altar bisected the Delta of Egypt, [tavek] as this part of the Nile, was anciently called “the sea.” We find the details of this with the usage of “tavek” in Isa. 19;18-20. This is handled in detail, in the section of our web-site on the Biblical Astronomy of the Great Pyramid. The material we have been studying shows us direct Biblical links, and a celestial reflection of the two altars of the Temple and Tabernacle, as illustrations of the bipolar structure of the Earth, mirroring the galactic poles of the two great celestial circles– the ecliptic and the Equator in northern skies. The symbolism of the circle is heavenly, while the symbolism of the square is Earthly. When we overlay the celestial double circle of the galactic North Pole over the terrestrial double square of the Tabernacle’s ground–plan, the 1 x 2 rectangle formed in the midst of the Tabernacle’s court, conforms to the common area of the North polar Vesica, between these overlapping celestial circles. This depicts the Creator’s original plan of His Creation reflected on both the macro and micro levels of heaven and earth, as seen in the Temple blueprints, and “pattern of the Tabernacle,” [Heb. 8:5, Exod. 25:9, 40] Only a true Creator could give the details of this Intelligently Designed Plan with such accuracy. Only the Almighty God is able to account for the work of His Hands with precision in such a sweeping vista, encompassing everything from the vast to the smallest scale. All of this is preserved in the fullness of its inherent glory in God’s Holy Word, so that it is undeniable even for fools, because even the fool knows this cannot originate by Chance, but only in the deliberate Intelligent Design and foreknowledge of the Almighty Creator-God.

On the micro level, this structure is intended to symbolize God’s chosen dwelling place in the hearts and minds of the Church in Christ, with man as the reason for Creation, and the container and reflector of the Creator’s gift of holy spirit. In this sense Christ is the ideal man and an emblem of all Creation. All the symbols, like “Vitruvian man,” are based on this original ideal which has been corrupted in the idols of the ages. We as believers will either align our thinking with the poles of the flesh or spirit by the freedom of our will, determining our fellowship with the Heavenly Father through His only mediator, the promised seed-Jesus Christ, the Chief Cornerstone who crowns his Temple, the Church, that unites both Jews and Gentiles.

As King Solomon, son of David, told his prayer to God from the central scaffold between the altars, he practically unified the secular (dynamic) office of the King, with a sacred (static) office of the Priest, from a location taking in  both spheres of activity for the nation of Israel. This is pictured astronomically as the dynamic equatorial pole slowly encircles the static pole of the ecliptic, with the common area between these overlapping polar wheels seen as a vesica or Venn Diagram. This adds to our insight of the precession of the poles, as the equatorial pole shifted from Thuban of Draco to Polaris of Ursa Minor. This fulfills the promise of the coming redeemer as the current pole star– Polaris resides under-foot of the Crowned King–Cepheus [Eph. 1:20-22]. This celestial image of the King of kings is thus fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

As II Chronicles 6:16 tells us; There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me. It is Jesus Christ as the High Priest after the order of Melchisedek, who ultimately fills this position as both king and priest, signifying Christ the fish, giving the true meaning for the vesica as a fish shaped icthus, that is also a Greek word for “fish.” This sign or cipher of the fish was popular in the early days of Christianity, notably with its Piscean links, and has come into vogue again, towards the end of the age. These truths first put  forth in the astronomical context of the fish shaped icthus, at the North Pole, were divorced from these former affiliations as their use was degraded in occult astrological practices. We need only return to the first truths of the Celestial Gospel to recover some hidden secrets of the ages, that only God’s Word can reveal. By forsaking the pagan astrological idols, the wisdom and Symmetry  contained in the Creator’s Order will be revealed as never before. The starry host provides the faithful heavenly witness of these everlasting spiritual truths, as witnessed in the Hourglass Nebula below. God, the Author of life has truly made new life available to all who believe through His Son, the agent of our new and everlasting life. Because the Phi ratio is pervasive in the kingdoms of life, it represents more than just a geometric pattern ruling life. The Ethic built into the Phi ratio not only lays down a geometric pattern of life, but it also lays a pattern that life follows, ever reaching a closer fellowship with the Creator, as Life Source and its First Cause. Thus it not only assumes the existence of the Almighty as the origin and Initiator, Who laid down these patterns, but it cries out to lay hold on our union with its Source. As the Nautilus living in its perfect shell based on the numbers of an algorithmic spiral provide the ideal environs for the Nautilus at each stage of growth in its life, so humanity is pressed to find the Source behind the architecture of the perfect linear geometric expansion of the chambers not only in the Nautilus Shell, but also of the ideal spiritual environs of the Temple and Tabernacle of Israel, and the great statements of the book of Acts.

The diagram below illustrates the increasingly higher dimensional geometry found naturally within the Vesica Piscis. The simple unit movement of the point and circle from centre A to B generates the mathematics for the square roots of one through to five.

Obviously the incidence of Pi and Phi in this sacred history of art and architecture is pervasive, and it demands our attention. If it entailed only a few casual incidents of phi, it could be written off to coincidence, but as we can see this is clearly not the case, as Johannes Kepler shows us in his Harmony of the Spheres, also seen in the Solar System structure of the musical scale.

Geometry in space / Sacred Geometry <3:

We also find relationships of the Fibonacci Series and the phi ratio in the mean sidereal and mean synodic planetary cycles, with their revolutionary periods of and mean orbital speeds, to include inverse velocity relationships, all based on the ubiquitous phi ratio. Again these multiple phi relationships on their own, might not be enough evidence to convince us of the Creator’s Intelligent Design, but once we see that all these individual planetary relationships fit together themselves in a phi spiral, or logarithmic spiral operating as an exponential constant, organizing the entire order of our solar system, God’s Symmetry is much more difficult to deny. This is especially the case when we find the beauty of this celestial phi symphony of our solar system is only a smaller version of the same phi spiral highlighting the rotational Symmetry of our spiral Galaxy in the Milky Way, seen too in spiral galaxies all through the Universe. Here is a simple way to draw and understand a rectangle using the Golden Ratio:  Draw a square (of size “1”) Place a dot half way along one side, Draw a line from that point to an opposite corner (it will be √5/2 in length). Turn that line so that it runs along the square’s side. Then you can extend the square to be a rectangle with the Golden Ratio. This rectangle above shows us a simple formula for the Golden Ratio. When one side is 1, the other side is:

The square root of 5 is approximately 2.236068, so the Golden Ratio is approximately (1+2.236068)/2 = 3.236068/2 = 1.618034. This is an easy way to calculate phi and related geometry we find in our next example, as a key in our study of Biblical Astronomy principles, evident in other topics on our website, like The Calendar of the Biblical Patriarchs. This study points out among many other things, that the cycles of the Sun and Moon are linked via the phi ratio of [1.618] in the 50-year Jubilee cycle, since there are 618 full moons every 50 solar years. This not only exhibits another phi ratio relation in our solar system, but also ties the divine knowledge to the Hebrew calendar as commanded in Levit. 25. Thus, God has designed the phi ratio into the structure of our solar system, even as He has all the other phi/ Fibonacci/ Lucas relations, in all Creation. So, God has designed the phi ratio in our solar system, even as He has all other phi/  Fibonacci/ Lucas relations, throughout the Natural World, depicting His the  symmetry of His Intelligent Design across multi-levels of His Creation. The preponderance of the phi ratio through the Four Kingdoms of Life, is an awesome testimony to the Creator’s Temporal Order. This phi ratio, is arrived at by a scale invariant comparison. The relationship that becomes evident in this comparison is divine, because it is found throughout all levels of the Natural World, from the micro to the macro. In this contrast of the divine proportion, the whole is to the larger as the larger is to the smaller. We find this divine ratio as seen in Plate 1 above in the Phi ratio’s linear expression divided into the square root of 5/2 and 1/2. As we observe the Phi ratio in the Temple and Tabernacle, we also find the examples of the two altars within the courts of the Temple/ Tabernacle pattern depicting a heavenly image of eastern access into God’s presence, via the High Priest’s annual ministry behind the veil, in the holiest of all. The pattern of access from the east mentioned above, holds true not only for Solomon’s Temple of the Old Testament, but also remained for the later Temple referred to in Ezekiel 43:1-5.

The two celestial poles of the ecliptic / Equator are mirrored terrestrially in the physical counterparts of their altars, in both the holy of holies and the holy place. As Pinnock states, regarding the brazen altar of burnt offering:” An added version of this altar is represented below as one of the two poles at the center of two squares -each upon its own center of polarity….”18#

We find Scriptural evidence of this is in Jeremiah 31.

Jeremiah 31:35
Thus saith the Lord, Which giveth the Sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the Moon and of the stars for a light by night, Which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; the Lord of Hosts is His name: The Hebrew word for “ordinance” here, is also used in Job 38:33, in reference to the “ordinances of Heaven” in an astronomical context [Job 38:31-32]. This Hebrew word for “ordinance” is also used referring to Natural Law as seen in Job 28:26, in the context of the Laws of Nature, as prescribed by God concerning for example the “rain, lightning and thunder.”

Since God revealed the dimensions of these sacred enclosures to Moses and King David by divine revelation, we have undeniable proof that the principles of the golden section and phi ratio are utilized as an aspect of the Creator’s Omniscient wisdom and Intelligent Design throughout all levels of Creation [Prov. 3:19]. The Divine power and energy of the Omnipotent Creator resonates in, and through every level of the Works of His Hand, and as we give Him His due credit for His awesome Works, we can join the harmonious chorus of Nature that sings His praises. This illustrates the dynamic growth pattern found in the largest spiral Galaxy, to the smallest of human embryos. Below we find added examples of the geometry of the Golden Ratio Rectangle applied to Sun-Earth-Venus orbits.

Ö 2.5490 * 1.6180339 = 1.5966 * 1.6180339 = 2.5833

In addition, Venus orbits the Sun in 224.695 days while Earth orbits the Sun in 365.242 days, conforming to an 8/13 ratio that are successive Fibonacci numbers. Thus 5 conjunctions of Earth and Venus occur every 8 orbits of the Earth around the Sun and every 13 orbits of Venus. 

Along with the planets of our solar system, the starry host shimmers with faithful heavenly witness of these Celestial truths, as seen in the Hourglass Nebula below. This aptly named Nebula counts the sands of time running out on the serpent’s dominion. This fascinating Nebula closely resembles the vesica pattern, with the heart of the Nebula itself inside the fish’s vessel. Intriguingly, this symbol also favors the number 8, having the spiritual significance of a new beginning, while resembling the division of a cell and the birth of new life. God, the Author of life has truly marked this new life with an explosion of light, both at their physical and spiritual conception to all born male and female, and who believe in His Son, the agent of our new and everlasting life.

The Hourglass Nebula appears as another celestial indicator of the importance of the symbolic “vessel of the fish,” representing the Age of Pisces as a foretold  precessional age that would reveal the long awaited and prophesied promised seed, and the final victory over the serpent. We have seen the critical nature of the advent of this age is in the chronology of the ages of the precession of the equinoxes. The details of how the opening of this Piscean Age was marked during the Celestial Prelude, and on my website. This accounts for most of the  “Piscean symbolism” in the Christian mysteries. Many of these “mysteries” were based on an emphasis of the purely geometric aspects of this knowledge, but as we view the signs of the Birth of Christ in 7 and 3 BC in their true celestial roots, we can avoid the labyrinth of mythic and occult admixtures, that corrupt their true meaning. We should note how the pagan cultures of Babylon and ancient Egypt took elements of this “mighty system” of Patriarchal Astronomy in to idolatrous applications of their individual star religions. Yet we still discern the original pattern of truth hidden under these idolatrous facades of ancient astrology.

The Chaldeans and Egyptians, as the Pythagoreans after them, present a clear case where this cloaking of the original truths in the celestial gospel resulted in its corruption. To remove the insidious influence of Astrology, we must recognize the original celestial symbols before they were corrupted and return to the solid ground of their Scriptural underpinnings upon which these truths can be re-set in their original purity. The association of the earthly twelve tribes of Israel with the twelve signs of the zodiac, give us a view wherein we see a way in which the “ordinances of heavens have their dominion in the earth,” [Job 38:33]. This is a primary goal of Biblical Archaeo-Astronomy utilizing the tools of the God-Breathed Word in concert with the witness of the stars.
