Biblical Astronomy of “Heavenly Signs.”

Birth of Jesus Christ
Biblical Astronomy of the Birth of Christ

Luke 11:29-30
29
And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

The Presence of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, was a sign to that generation that fulfilled all the Messianic OT Prophecies, including the Gospel in the Stars, in agreement with God’s Word. Jesus embodied the eternal purpose and God’s Plan of the Ages, to redeem mankind, which is exactly the story related in the Gospel of the Stars, as a precursor to the Scriptural record. Thus, as we take a unified view of the various categories of Heavenly Signs, we are much better served as opposed to a segregated view of these categories, as signs unto themselves. In this way we are not seeking after individual signs, but are aware of them as a general category, placing them in a proper biblical context to glean their meaning and message.

As we can see from the example above, not all Biblical “signs” are astronomical in nature, but that does not mean there is no astronomical connotation that could exist for a biblical sign, as we find above. The Hebrew word in Strong’s [H226] means a “sign, token, badge, standard, monument, warning, omen, symbol, miracle or proof.”1 In Gen. 9:12-17 it indicates God’s Promise in the Rainbow after Noah’s Flood. Also as His Covenant was confirmed by circumcision, [Gen. 17:11, Rom. 4:11]. The Great Pyramid was also a prophetic sign of Jesus Christ, [Isa. 19: 19-20]. There are astronomical signs; of various types, [2 Kings 20:8-9]. As we see other types of Biblical signs above, we find a strong biblical basis for various types of signs designed to get our attention. According to a Lexical Aid to the OT, This word can refer to anything showing or confirming a past, present or future event. 2  Thus, whenever these events are confirmed by signs from the Hand of God, it demands our full attention!

This blog is third in a series of rebuttals against the critique of Frances Rolleston’s work of The Mazzaroth, by Dr. Danny Faulkner, who has categorized heavenly signs on his own, naming 4 types of signs listed below.

First, Faulkner recognizes what we would call a “sign of the times” as Jesus taught in his parable of Matt. 16:1-4. The idea that this is a specific type of Parable where Jesus taught spiritual truths from natural scientific phenomena is noteworthy. This illustrates how the Creator intelligently designed His systems in Creation, to depict His Almighty omnipotence and wisdom. Second, as Psalm 8Psalm 19, and Romans 1:18–20 tell us, God’s existence is revealed through the heavens, constituting a category of Celestial Sign. This can also reveal God’s purposes in His Creation, as we see with His plan to redeem mankind through His only begotten Son, not only as the main theme of the Gospel in the Stars, but also God’s Word. Third, the star that led the Magi to the infant Jesus (Matthew 2:1–29–10) was undoubtedly a sign from heaven. This illustrates how the Almighty utilized specific celestial signs to mark the birth of Christ, His only begotten Son, to carry out the primary purpose of His plan and goal to redeem mankind. Fourth, there will be signs in heaven that reveal God’s wrath (Isa. 13:9–13Joel 2:30–31Matt. 24:29–31Mark 13:24–27Luke 21:25–28Revelation 6:12–17). 3 Under this category heading Faulkner includes signs of the end times and the Return of Christ, but there are also signs like Blood Moons which Faulkner lumps together here in [Joel 2:30-31] above, that are not always indicators of God’s wrath. You can also include Meteor Showers, one of which played a notable role in the signs around the birth of Christ. Thus, in these categories we have at least six types of possible signs in heaven and heavenly bodies that conform to the God-ordained purpose for them. We have classified another dozen types of signs that are referenced below. In the face of how these categories of Celestial Signs work together with the Gospel in the Stars, to fulfill God’s primary purpose, Faulkner succumbs to the blindness of his segregated view of these categories of heavenly signs by saying; “With no clear biblical support for these signs being the Gospel in the stars, it is pure conjecture that Genesis 1:14 requires that there be a Gospel in the Stars.” 4 Genesis 1:14 does notrequire a Gospel in the Stars” but by the nature of the story related by the 12 constellations with their decans, this record in God’s Word attests to a strong foundation for the Celestial Gospel, supported by Biblical Heavenly signs.

A Recent Blood Moon over Jerusalem.

Regarding the Star of Bethlehem, Faulkner states; “If, as most scholars think, the Magi were Persian, they likely had read Daniel’s prophecy of 70 weeks and hence knew that the time of the Messiah’s arrival was nigh. In fact, the Magi were not the only people who were expecting the Messiah at that time, for many Hebrews were looking for the Messiah as well. We do not know what the star that the Magi saw was, but supporters of the gospel in the stars want us to assume that it must have had something to do with the gospel in the stars. This is all a bit muddled though, because many supporters of the gospel in the stars believe in some astronomical event, such as an unusual planetary conjunction was the star. If that sort of thing was the star, then did the Magi really require the gospel in the stars? 5

Faulkner does not seem to think that a Gospel in the Stars is biblically “required,” so he proposes a number of scenarios to cast doubt on its validity. Proponents of the Celestial Gospel however, recognize the key role that the Stars fulfill in support of God’s witness to mankind, not only of God’s existence, but also as Creator. At least Faulkner is forthright enough to admit that he does not know what the star seen by the Magi was. However, as we have advocated and documented since the 1980’s, in our study of the signs marking Christ’s Birth, it becomes apparent that Jupiter was the planet that the Magi referred to as “his Star” in Matthew 2:2. The Magi had noted the triple union of signs in 7-6 BC, involving Jupiter and Saturn, that provided them a blueprint for the actual signs marking Christ’s birth, starting in 3 BC. An early sign in August of 3 BC motivated them to begin their caravan to Jerusalem. Both of these aspects of the General and Specific celestial signs marking the birth of Christ are apparent in the study on “The Stars Over Bethlehem, which provides further details of what the Magi observed in the skies overhead marking the Messiah’s birth, both in Virgo and Coma, pictured in the title banner of this blog above.

The clear biblical astronomy support for the Gospel in the Stars could not be in plainer sight, but was still missed by Faulkner, seen in the correlation of two of the categories of celestial signs he points out. First, the evidence we have presented regarding the birth of Christ above, with the Celestial Gospel, and how the monuments of the Giza Plateau, like the Great Sphinx as a memorial for the Alpha/Omega constellations of the 12 signs of the MazzarothVirgo and Leo, show the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid prophesy of the birth of Christ, providing a strong suit for the function of these ancient monuments. Secondly how, these constellations of Virgo and Leo marking Christ’s birth point to the Great Sphinx, with various planetary unions seen in the Celestial Sphinx, and also how the Great Pyramid witnesses to these aspects of the Celestial Sphinx with heavenly signs in Sept. 2017, give conclusive proof of the sacred function of the oldest man-made wonders on our planet’s surface. In our last blog we referenced a key astronomical function of the Great Sphinx, in its Pre-dynastic stellar role as a sighting device linked to its astronomical functions, to observe and record the horizon points of the sunrise, found not only in the Sphinx’ orientation facing due east, but also in relation to the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn.

The Great Sphinx

The Sphinx’s solar alignments relating to the borders of the tropics, depict ancient knowledge of the zodiacal band, within which the heavenly bodies named by the Creator [Ps. 147:4, Gen. 37:9-11, Isa. 40:26, Job 9:7], shed their 3-fold light upon the Earth. God set the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, as boundaries within which the Sun, Moon and Planets all move, above and below the celestial Equator. Thus, it is the stars within the Zodiacal Band that God marked to carry the message of His Gospel in the Stars, and His eternal plan and purpose for mankind’s redemption.
We find added biblical evidence of this truth in Joseph’s second dream [Gen. 37:9-11], in an astronomical context.

Gen. 37:9-11 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? 11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

In this second dream of Joseph, we find evidence of the knowledge of the zodiacal band with the Biblical Patriarchs, since the 11 brothers of Joseph appear as the 11 stars with Joseph being the 12th constellation, summarizing the main signs found along the path of the Sun and Moon, embodied in his parents. This ancient knowledge of the zodiacal band among the Biblical Patriarchs, is another proof of the Gospel in the Stars in concert with Scripture and the Great Sphinx, that corroborates the historic signs from Giza not only of Christ’s birth, and first coming but also, points to the Return of Christ, and his Second coming. This also links another type of celestial sign showing the Blood Moon tetrads, as another category of Biblical Celestial Sign tied to the history of Israel and Jerusalem. These heavenly signs fall in the category of a Celestial sign including many Jerusalem prophecies that have recently been fulfilled, so we can truly recognize these “signs of the times,” as Jesus taught in Matt. 16:1-4.

God’s Revelation in the celestial gospels features 48 constellations, which include the 12 Signs of the zodiac, along with their 36 decans. These star-pictures were drawn around and associated with their specific star groups, starting with the earliest Bible Patriarchs, so that they would be handed down and remembered throughout the ages. In [Gen. 1:14] the lights in the firmament of Heaven were to be for “signs, seasons, days and years.” The word for “signs” [H226-owth] 6 is the same Hebrew word that refers to 12 constellations of the Mazzaroth. These signs were afterward, [Gen. 37, 49, Num. 2, Deut. 33] identified with the 12 sons of Jacob, representing the 12 tribes of Israel, providing a direct link, between the Gospel of the Stars and these Signs. In Joshua 4, when the nation of Israel first crossed into the Promised land, there was a special sign” [H226] that occurred where this notable occasion was marked by the Hand of God, and 12 special stones representing the 12 tribes of Israel were used to build a memorial to honor God, who brought Israel through the wilderness. Thus, even though this sign was not astronomical in nature, it still carries astronomical ramifications due to being linked not only to the 12 tribes, but also to the 12 stones, [Eben-H68] of this memorial.

Joshua 4:5-9 Then Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel, out of every tribe a man: And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of you a stone [H68-Eben] 7 upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: That this may be a sign [H226] among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel forever. And the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones out of the midst of Jordan, as the Lord spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there. And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.

The Hebrew word for stone [H68-Eben] in Joshua 4:5 above, is the same word used for the 12 precious stones on the breastplate of the High Priest, both linked to the order of the 12 tribes [Exod. 28:10-11, 39:6-14] seen not only in the breastplate of the High Priest, but also in the order of encampment the 12 tribes in the wilderness, [Num. 2:2ff] around the Tabernacle, in their Cardinal Directions as follows:

1. VIRGOZebulon, Woman, Ship, carrying God’s people to safe harbor. [Deut. 33:18]
2. LibraLeviPriesthood, Judgment. The Scales balanced in the redemption of Christ’s Blood.

3. SCORPIO-DAN [NORTH] [Gen. 49:17] a serpent by the way, with Ophiuchus/Serpens decan.

4. SAGITTARIUS-ASHER; Crown of Life to the world, His bread shall be fat, as the Gospel Carrier. [Deut. 8:3]

5. CAPRICORN-Gad, Overcoming Troop [Deut. 33:18-19]

6. AQUARIUS-REUBEN [SOUTH] [Gen. 49;3-4] “unstable as water”

7. PICSES-SIMEON, [Gen. 49:5-6 & Levi] as brothers were not to be united, since together they killed a man.

8. ARIES– NAPHTALI means “struggle.” but the end of Naphtali alone is Taleh, a Lamb, [Jn. 1:29].

9. TAURUSJoseph, EPHRAIM & MANASSEH [TWO HORNS OF THE BULL] (WEST) [Deut. 33:16-17]

10. GEMINIBENJAMIN, Named Benoni as Rachel died birthing him, [sufferings]. Renamed by Jacob Son of my right hand-[Glory].

11. CANCER-ISSACHAR, [Gen. 49:14-15] A Strong Ass between 2 burdens.

12. LEOThe LionJudah [EAST] [Gen. 49:8-10] Juda is a Lion’s whelp.

Thus, we find the general relation between the Blessings for each of the 12 Sons and the 12 signs of the zodiac in Gen. 49 and Deut. 33. When we allow God’s Word to speak for itself, and not rely on Theological Commentaries as our “go-to” primary resource in Bible research, the Scriptural witness will be clear. Since Joshua 4 links the same word for 12 Sons & signs of the zodiac, with the 12 stones of their memorial entrance into the promised land, we find a biblical link between the 12 signs of the zodiac with the 12 tribes of Israel, each tribe with their own sign and stone. This is not my opinion or conjecture, but Scriptural truth. The same word for “stone” [H68] is used in Ex. 28, in reference to the breastplate of the High Priest, where the names of the 12 tribes are engraved-6 each, on the shoulder onyx stones according to their birth order, [Ex. 28:10-11]. Just as there were 12 main gates in the city of Jerusalem, so there are also twelve gates and twelve foundation stones in the New Jerusalem, (Rev. 21:12-14). The order of the tribes not only matched the order of their wilderness camp, [Num. 1:52] but also includes their own tribal Standard, [H1714-degel] 8
flag or banner, for each tribe. This is crystal clear in;

Numbers 2:1-2 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, [H1714] 9 with the ensign [H226] of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

Contrary to Faulkner’s opinion, there is no mystery as to what is depicted on each of these tribal banners or flags! Num. 2:2 tells us plainly that every man pitches by his own standard with the ensign [H226] of their father’s house. The word for ensign is the key being the same Hebrew word used in [Gen. 1:14, Josh. 4:5-9] linked to the 12 signs of the zodiac, each of the 12 banners with the emblem of their tribal constellation. In Psalm 74 this point is driven home so there is no doubt;

Psalm 74:4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.

Even the enemies of Israel “pitched” under the colors of Israel’s tribal banners in order to infiltrate them. Both the Hebrew words for “ensigns” and “signs” in this verse are the same word [H226]. So they lifted up their banners or tribal flags emblazoned with their family sign of the 12 “signs” or constellations of the zodiac. Thus we can see how Scripture records what images were on these standards.

Faulkner references Rolleston’s “problems with the zodiac in the Bible, stating; “the alleged parallels between the blessings for each son and the zodiacal signs are extremely creative. The only obvious possible connection is the one supposedly between Leo and Judah in that Judah is referred to as a lion. However, there is not even a hint of the other 11 links that Rolleston makes to Genesis 49. Rolleston speculated that each son carried a symbol from one of the signs of the zodiac and that Jacob pointed to each zodiacal symbol in pronouncing his blessing. This is entirely speculation on Rolleston’s part, and I have found no commentary that mentions, let alone endorses, this idea.”10

Lion of Judah Names of Christ Banner

As we can see in our Zodiac list above, the correlations between the 12 tribes and 12 signs from Deut. 33 and Gen. 49 are much more congruent than Faulkner cares to admit, but God’s Word says nothing about Jacob pointing to the signs with his blessing, a pure fabrication. In Faulkner’s critique of Rolleston, she claimed the same correspondence between the tribes of Israel and signs of the zodiac is contained in the final blessing of Moses in Deut. 33 (Rolleston 1865, part 2, p. 38). Here and elsewhere (Rolleston 1865, part 1, p. 12, part 2, p. 48) Rolleston further claimed that in the wilderness each of the tribes carried a standard with the tribe’s respective zodiacal sign inscribed upon a standard. It is true that the tribes had standards, or banners, (Num. chapter 2 and 10), but Scripture does not record what was on the standards.”11

Faulkner’s views on Virgo and the “virgin birth” are included as follows; “Exhibit A is Virgo, which many take as an obvious analog to Mary. But is it? The prophecy of the virgin birth is from Isaiah 7:14, written a little more than seven centuries before fulfillment. Isaiah was written long after the gospel in the stars supposedly originated, but there is no biblical evidence that there was any other prophecy or expectation of a virgin-born Messiah prior to Isaiah. Given the high value of virginity, it is not surprising that a virgin might show up among the constellations. A virgin with a child in the ancient constellations would have been quite unusual, and so perhaps might have been a good argument for the gospel in the stars. Rolleston understood this, and so she was very creative is claiming that just such a thing did exist. But, alas, she did this with quite a bit of sleight-of-hand, by moving an unclear figure from the Dendera planisphere to a new location and suggesting a false history to accompany it.“12

The first problem with a “virgin birth” is that it not a Biblical Doctrine, since the Bible teaches a virgin conception. Mary was not married to Joseph at the time of the Almighty’s visitation on her, which was prior to their marriage. Faulkner’s comments on the “Virgin Birth” are included below, and as he points out “A virgin with a child in the ancient 12 signs  would have been quite unusual, and so perhaps might have been a good argument for the gospel in the stars.”13 In support of this, we have already shown regarding the Coma Decan on the Dendera zodiac, there is nothingunclear” about how the Coma decan is depicted on this planisphere, accept in Faulkner’s mind, because it contradicts his disbelief in the Celestial Gospel. Neither was the Coma Decanmoved to a new location” as it appears in alignment with Axis E on the Dendera zodiac along with Virgo’s Seed, witnessed as a stalk of grain on the Dendera planisphere. This picture of the promised seed as a young boy in the Virgin’s lap for this very reason was the celestial depiction of the virgin’s seed, in agreement not only with Gen. 3:15 but also Isa. 7:14, as an excellent case for the Gospel in the Stars. Once any honest reader sees the evidence on the Genesis 3:15 Planisphere Axis below, all doubt is removed regarding the validity of the Gospel in the Stars.

The unity of the Gospel in the Stars with God’s Written Word is evident on many levels, but those disclaiming the validity of the Celestial Gospel are blinded to this truth. Psalm 19 is a key chapter of Scripture that not only attests to the existence of the Almighty Creator, but also displays how the houses of the Sun referring to the 12 constellations of the Mazzaroth, provide the circuit-[ecliptic] where the Sun of Righteousness [Mal. 4:2] lives, moves and has his being. In this way, the heavens still speak to us today according to the principles of Biblical Astronomy, as the Sun. Moon, planets and Stars have their voice.

Psalm 19:1 – The Bible Wallpapers

Psalm 19:1-6 “The heavens declare the glory of ELOHIM. (CREATOR)

The verbs in this section are literary, then in vs. 7 they transition to the astronomical.

A Literal translation according to usage of Psalm 19:1-4 reads as follows:

v.1 “The heavens continuously [all the time, not sporadically] go over and over, again and again, rehearsing the glory of God, the Creator [Elohim], and all of God’s expanse keeps setting forth God’s great handiwork in the heavens.”

v.2 “Day in and Day out, the heavens are continuously pouring forth, telling and prophesying; and, night after night, the heavens continuously pour forth intelligent information.”

v.3 “There is no speaking forth by way of the heavens, nor words they pour forth in all the earth, where the words the heavens pour forth have not been heard.”

v.4 “The heavens allotted measurements (Zodiac-signs & seasons in Gen. 1:14) have gone over all the created earth, and the teachings of the heavens have gone all over the inhabited earth. In the constellations hath He established a tabernacle for the sun,”

notes on v.4 “line”= [qav] prophecies, also a survey line denoting the ecliptic or direction of the sun through the heavens, and the lines marking the decans” within the zodiacal houses of the sun. This is the universal standard of timekeeping and the basis of numerous cultural calendars throughout history. Also the lines of Latitude and
longitude on the face of the earth are found here, corresponding to these measuring lines, ordering the Heavens and reflected upon the Earth. [Rom. 10:17-18]

In them“=the heavens
tabernacle“=houses of the sun. [mansions of the 12 signs of the mazzaroth]

v.5 And he as a bridegroom embarking from his bridal canopy (pavilion), like a champion rejoices to run his course.

notes on v. 5…The oriental wedding would conclude with the groom leading the bride out of the canopy (indicative of God’s protection) after the marriage ceremony. This also is a figure for Christ-The Bridegroom, courting his BrideIsrael [Not the New Testament Church of his Spiritual BODY].

v.6 Its rising is at one end of the heavens, its circuit reaches from one end to the other, and nothing [yes, no one] is hidden from its heat.

v.7 “The law of the Lord is perfect”=JEHOVAH’S Word in relation to His creation. [Here is the transition from literary to astronomical verbs]

“converting the soul”=returning as the sun returns in its circuit, so God can restore and heal every aspect of the soul life of a man, in the process of complete salvation wholeness.

v.8 The testimony of the Lord is faithful [as the sun is a faithful witness in the heavens Ps. 89:36-37] making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure enlightening the eyes.

notes on v.8 “enlightening”=as the sun. {Isa. 60:18-19, II Pet. 1:19 “daystar”} The celestial bodies shed a 3-fold light upon the earth!
“testimony”-a repeating witness also as the Sun on the ecliptic.

v.9-10 The reverent fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired than gold, than much pure gold, they are sweeter than honey dripping from the honeycomb.

“clean”=active continual cleansing.
“true”=faithful in perpetuity

v.11 By them your servant is warned [reminded, illuminated and instructed] and in keeping them there is great reward.

“By them”=in them [moving & dwelling in the ordinances of the Lord, for in them we live & move & have our being] even as the sun lives and moves in and through the houses of the zodiac.
“warned”=instructed as in II Tim. 3:16 by Doctrine, Reproof and Correction.
“keeping”=observing
or watching as the stargazers and Biblical astronomers observe the heavens to learn its lessons and secrets. Even so the planets and celestial orbs observe the Creator’s ordinances as they remain in their ordained orbits.

v.12-13 Who can discern their lapses and errors? Clear and restrain me from unconscious faults, let them not have dominion over me.

“errors”=wandering within ordained limits as the planets in their orbits, like the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn.
“dominion”= to rule over as the sun rules over the day and the moon over the night [Gen. 1:18].

v.14 May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in thy sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

The Stars in their courses and the planets in their orbits, cycle through seasons of change in their orientation to the Sun. As the planets seem to “wander” in their appointed courses, ordered by God according to the phi ratio, like a sine wave they move both closer to, and farther from the Sun’s light. Even so, man in his growth and maturation process “wanders” on the path towards God’s light, and his physical and even spiritual growth also, is ordered by the same phi ratio. As we discern these orbits and their planetary lapses, we are enlightened, warned and instructed in our walk with the Lord. There is abundant grace and mercy in God’s forgiveness, even as a child stumbles and falls before he walks, and walks before he runs. As we learn to walk closer with our Maker, and run to serve His perfect counsels and purposes, we lend our voice to the growing chorus of the Body of Christ, walking the paths of the holy, while avoiding the snares of the evil one, until that long-awaited day when the Lord returns for us in the ultimate victory of the ages. This is some of the key teaching we can glean from the Celestial Gospels, as they exhibit some of the strongest evidence for the reality of our Almighty Heavenly Father and Creator.

Problems with Faulkner’s Interpretation of Orion

The name Orion appears three times in the Bible (Job 9:938:31Amos 5:8). Rolleston correctly noted that Chesil is the Hebrew word translated as “Orion” in all three uses (Rolleston 1865, part 2, p. 30). “Rolleston viewed Orion as a type of Christ. Part of this came from the name “Orion. The meaning and source of this name is obscure, but, according to Allen (1963, p. 304), it comes from Akkadian, and means “Light of Heaven,” an apparent appeal to Matthew 4:16 on Rolleston’s part.”14  Faulkner references various mythologies and legends where some of those stories have Orion stung on the foot, but others do not specify where the scorpion stung Orion.”15 We are more concerned with the star lore from a biblical or Hebraic perspective, although ancient Egyptian myth has proven to contain many of the celestial gospel themes in their original star names and decans. Many of these themes survived the idolatrous corruption of myths linked to the Solar cult of RA and Pharaoh’s ties to it, so that some ancient truths of the Gospel in the Stars still live, for example in the Dendera Zodiac, in the Coma decan prior to its Greek corruption.

As we view the Genesis 3:15 Planisphere Axis in Figure 1 below, we will clear the air of the confusion Faulkner seems to be spreading regarding the Gospel in the Stars. This axis embodies the persistent hope of mankind in the Coming Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Faulkner correctly references Genesis 3:15 as the 1st Messianic prophecy in God’s Word, and as such is a key reference, worthy of a closer look as a foundation to the Gospel in the Stars.

Gen. 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Here we have a reference to the seemingly endless struggle between light and darkness, embodied between the serpent and its seed, versus the Woman with her seed. God is telling the serpent that the seed of the woman, who is Jesus Christ would bruise the serpent’s head, indicative of the fatal blow that Christ inflicts on Satan, as opposed to the serpent stinging Christ’s heel, showing Christ’s sacrifice, that freed all mankind from the serpent’s curse. This story from Gen. 3 is depicted  in astonishingly powerful ways in the Gospel in the Stars, as seen with this Planisphere Axis below.

Figure 1. Genesis 3:15 Planisphere Axis.

This “Genesis 3:15 axis” extends through the North pole intersecting a number of constellations and notable decans that relate aspects of the Genesis 3:15, theme from various teaching perspectives. Starting at the top of the planisphere, we find the Scorpion constellationScorpius, whose prominent tail stinger is positioned just under the heel of Ophiuchus the Serpent-bearer constellation, who is engaged in a struggle with the serpent. The axis intersects the star in Ophiuchus’ heel, called Saiph, in the LXX Greek meaning “bruised.”16 This is the same Greek word used in Gen. 3:15 for “bruised,” while Ophiuchus’ other leg is poised over the head of the Scorpion, showing the fatal blow as he crushes the enemy. This enlargement of Ophiuchus wrestling the serpent for Corona-the Crown of Dominion, while the Scorpion stings his heel, tells us how our spiritual adversary is pictured both as a serpent and a scorpion, in conflict with the man, fitting the three Scriptural elements of the star picture. In Hebrew the Scorpion is Akrab, meaning war or conflict; [Ps. 91:13] with the man.

Figure 2. Ophiuchus, Serpens and Scorpius.

As this axis extends through the next sign, we find it intersecting the decan of Ophiuchus called Hercules, whose foot is placed above the Head of Draco the serpentdragon at the North pole. The axis runs between the two heads of Hercules and Ophiuchus, who are aligned, but inverted to each other. The star in Hercules head is called Ras Al Gethi, meaning the head of him who bruises, keeping with the Gen. 3:15 theme. 17 As this axis extends down to Hercules left foot, it shows the result of Ophiuchusbattle with the Serpent, since Hercules left foot is crushing the Dragon’s head, seen in Fig. 3destroying the devil’s works. As Hercules is kneeling, his right heel is lifted up as if it was wounded, in some star maps with a spear through his heel. [Rev. 12:9-10, Ps. 74:12-14]

The Fourth Star-family - Part 3

If we now look at the other end of the Gen. 3:15 Planisphere Axis, we find amazingly that it intersects Orion, specifically at the star in Orion’s foot named Rigel, meaning “the foot that crushes,” which is fitting since it is pictured crushing the enemy. The main star in Orion’s other leg incredibly is “Saiph” the same word for bruised we saw in Ophiuchus that is used in Gen. 3:15! Not only do we find both ends of this amazing Planisphere axis agreeing with the same star name tied to Gen. 3:15, but before the axis reaches Orion’s foot, it intersects his the bright star in Orion’s shoulder called Bellatrix, meaning “swiftly destroying,” in reference to the swift destruction of the enemy at the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. 19

Job 38:31-33

31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? 32 Canst thou bring forth
Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? 33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the Earth?

Figure 4. The decan of Orion, with his foot over the Hare initiating the River of Judgement.

zodiac stars

The original meaning of Orion is “coming forth as light.” The same word is used in Genesis. 1:17 and Isa. 60:1, referring to the light of the celestial luminaries.

Faulkner takes exception with Rolleston’s linking of Christ’s identification with Ophiuchus and Orion in the Celestial Gospel, despite the obvious parallels in this stellar depiction of [Gen. 3:15.] But if we let the stars speak, their witness of truth shines through any confusion. Faulkner says that Rolleston “observed that although in most charts Orion’s foot rests upon a hare, in at least one ancient Indian star chart there is snake in place of the hare. Presumably, this snake has bitten, or bruised, Orion’s heal, but he is crushing the serpent’s head in fulfillment of the first Messianic prophecy (Genesis 3:15).”20 Of course, this depiction of a serpent instead of a Hare is not limited to Indian zodiacs, but was also the case in the Dendera zodiac, along with Persian zodiacs as well. 21 As we have seen with the square Dendera Zodiac it is not only one of the oldest planispheres around, as found with its depiction of the Great Sphinx, but it is also a uniquely wonderful source for the identification of ancient decans, that describes Lepus the “hare,” as a serpent. According to Seiss, the Persian and Egyptian zodiacs also include the image of the serpent under Orion’s foot, caught in the claws of a hawk or eagle. 22

According to Faulkner;
There are several problems with Rolleston’s connection of Orion and Jesus Christ. First is Rolleston’s parallel between Orion dying by means of a scorpion and Christ’s heel being bruised by Satan. For example, the scorpion story is not the only story of Orion’s demise. An alternate ending (Olcott 1911) has Orion swimming away after battle with the scorpion when Apollo tricked Artemis into shooting the dark object in the water (Orion’s head) with an arrow. Only later did Artemis sorrowfully learn that she had killed Orion. Rolleston seemed to select the stories that best fit her hypothesis and ignored others. Furthermore, a scorpion is not a snake. To claim illustration of Genesis 3:15 with a scorpion is a tremendous stretch.”23

Since the Gospel in the Stars is a pictorial representation, that parallels God’s Word, at times they tell a composite story of the truth of Christ. This axis is a good example of a composite pictorial depiction of Gospel truth, that is backed up by the meanings of the individual star names in the constellations and decans of these star pictures. The combined image of this Gen. 3:15 Axis not only presents 3 heavenly giants in combat with serpentine enemies, but there is also a forth decan on this axis shown taking the central star of the heavens away from the dragon’s control. Once the serpent replaces the Hare from later zodiacs, this Gen. 3:15 axis shows a powerful unified image in multiple constellations all centered around the Gen. 3:15 theme.

Figure 5. Draco and Cepheus at the North Pole.

draco

The fourth decan referred to above is Draco the dragon, seen in Figure 5 above, with Hercules’ Foot above its head, inside one of the circles of the Northern Polar Venn Diagram. This is pictured astronomically as the dynamic equatorial pole slowly moves around the static pole of the ecliptic, at the center of the upper circle. The common area between these overlapping polar wheels we find as a vesica of the Venn Diagram. This gives us another viewpoint of the precession of the poles, as the equatorial pole shifted from Thuban, in Draco’s tail to Polaris of Ursa Minor over the past 5000 years. This fulfills the promise of the coming redeemer, as our Gen. 3:15 axis passes through the current pole star Polaris, seen under the feet of Cepheus, the Crowned King, [Eph. 1:20-22]. This celestial image of the King of kings is realized and fulfilled in Christ Jesus, who now presides over the central star of the heavens, formerly under the dominion of the Dragon. Within this Polar circle, we find a triangle that encloses the Little Bear of Ursa Minor. The Triangle roughly consists of the Ecliptical pole at the center of this upper circle, along with two pole stars. One is Thuban the former pole star in the Dragon’s tail on the circle’s perimeter at the upper right corner, and the other is the current pole star Polaris, at the lower-left corner. As we find in Figure 6 below, the Pole star marked Al Ruccaba, is under the foot of Cepheus, meaning “the Branch,”24 exerting his authority over all Creation. Thus the man’s wounded foot has become the instrument of the serpent’s destruction, not only seen in the crushing fatal blow to the serpent’s head, but also is witnessed in the outcome of Ophiuchus’ struggle with the serpent for the Crown [Corona in Fig.2] of Dominion.

Figure 6. Cepheus the Crowned King.

Once again we find the common thread of truth running through this Gen. 3:15 Axis, because in the knee of the leg over Polaris, we have the star Al Rai, which means “he who bruises or breaks,25 since it is the man Jesus Christ as King Cepheus, who ultimately breaks the serpent and destroys it. This name Al Rai also marks a star in Orion that matches with Cepheus, just like the star Saiph matches Orion with Ophiuchus on both ends of this axis! This is by design of the Almighty, who named these stars, and aligned them to tell the divine story we are witnessing in the Gospel in the Stars right now! What critics like Faulkner have failed to realize, is that just like the Written Word of God is divinely inspired, so the Gospel in the Stars is also from the same Source. This signature of the Almighty on His handiwork is all the proof required to show the genuine validity of the Hand of the Almighty that underwrites the Celestial Gospel.

Faulkner’s problems with linking Christ with Orion seem to be that they don’t agree with mythology, which would be fine if world myths were the standard for truth. They can be valuable as we have noted, when they preserve the ancient themes of the Biblical Patriarchs written in the Gospel of the Stars, but not so much when they embody the corruption of those truths. As the stories support the biblical theme of the Genesis 3:15 prophecy of Christ, they not only show themselves worthy of our attention, in this case, but other cases also where the constellations and decans reference specific Scriptural themes. As we pointed out, the constellations can use composite truths as seen in Figure 2, where both the snake and the scorpion are pictured in conflict with the man, so the theme of [Gen. 3:15] is upheld as the scorpion and serpent depict it, especially when we take into consideration the other serpents being crushed by Christ figures on this axis! So the standard is, does the stellar image agree with Scriptural truths? Not does it fit our pet thesis, opinion or cultural mythologies.

Faulkner’s use of cultural myths as a basis for interpreting the meaning and message of the stars is an unfortunate example of him accusing Rolleston, Bullinger and Seiss of exactly what he is guilty of; choosing the argument that fit his critique of Rolleston’s Gospel in the Stars thesis. Faulkner’s cursory handling of the Hebrew word and root for Orion is another example. As Faulkner states;

A third problem with Rolleston’s interpretation is chesil, the Hebrew word used for Orion. Elsewhere this word is translated “fool.” For instance, the eight times that the word fool appears in Proverbs 26, this is the word used. Thus, by the Hebrew name for him, we can see that Orion is not an individual worthy of respect and devotion. To equate this fool with a type of Christ at the very least seriously borders on blasphemy, and most Christians ought to find this offensive. If Rolleston had been as proficient in Hebrew as required to do the word studies that she supposedly did, then she would have known that the Hebrew word for Orion is the same as a “fool.” Instead, Rolleston (1865, part 2, p. 10) claimed that chesil means “bound together,” while Bullinger (1893 p. 125) claims that chesil refers to a great man, but these claims are patently false. Rolleston either was not qualified to do these studies, or she intentionally ignored this blasphemous connection. Bullinger, Seiss, and others ought to have known better than this, but, alas, they did not, or they chose to go with their pet thesis instead. This is an example of gospel in the stars proponents ignoring biblical names for stars, opting instead for pagan sources, because those sources support their thesis.”26

A more in-depth view of the Hebrew Root structure for “chesil” is seen in an analysis from Strong’s Concordance, of this word. If Faulkner would have paid attention to Strong’s handling of this word, he would have known that sometimes a single Hebrew word, can have different usages. In this case “chesil” [H3685] is the name of the constellation Orion, [Job 9:9, 38: 31-33, Amos 5:8], which the orientals call the Giant, perhaps where Bullinger got his “great man” from? They apparently saw this as the figure of an impious giant bound to the sky, referring to Job’s; “canst thou loose the bands of Orion?” Gesenius has a revealing comment and warning that says; [We must not interpret the Scripture as though it countenanced foolish superstition.] 27 Had Faulkner followed Gesenius’ advice here, he could have avoided the bulk of his undistinguished commentary, since much of mythology could be considered “foolish superstition,” [1 Tim. 4:7].

Another usage in this category in reference to Isa. 13:10 is the “Orion’s” or giants of Heaven, talking about the greater constellations of the sky in a Star Atlas catalog. Since Orion is one of the most prominent and visible signs in the sky, it was used as an exemplar for these types of constellations. A third usage of this word [H3686] refers to a town in Southern Judah, along with a fourth usage [H3687] referencing “folly,” [Prov. 9:13]. 28 This compares to what Faulkner discussed [H3684], but he made no references to these other astronomical usages of this word, because it did not fit his rant that people should be offended on the blasphemous ramifications of comparing Christ to afool.” Again, Faulkner is the one “ignoring or omitting biblical names for stars like “Orion,” so that he can criticize Rolleston, Bullinger, and Seiss, in their support of the Gospel in the Stars. This also links to another of Faulkner’s criticisms of Gospel in the Stars backers, that we are not adhering to the “Hebrew words closest to the original intended meanings and their soteriological purposes, and thus ought to be central to the Gospel in the Stars thesis.”29 It seems this qualifies as a key example where we make our case for not only the Gospel of the Stars, but also provide a lesson in “not handling the Word of God deceitfully,” expressly for egotistical purposes or self-promotion, [2 Cor. 4:2]. These tendencies from Faulkner only serve to undermine his critique.

The last decan highlighted by our Gen. 3:15 Planisphere Axis, is Auriga, as seen below in Figure 7. Our axis runs very close to the point where the large horn of Taurus, the onrushing Bull pierces the heel of our Shepherd. In keeping with the Gen. 3:15 theme we have found with all the signs and decans our axis marks, here the Bull’s horn strikes the heel of Auriga’s right foot, at the star named Al Nath, meaning the wounded or slain. 30

Figure 7. Auriga The Shepherd. [Jamieson, 1822]

auriga-jamieson-1822-cr (373K)

Bullinger says; “He is the Good Shepherd who gave his life for the Sheep, [Jn. 10:11], the Great Shepherd who was brought again from the dead, [Heb. 13:20] and now the Cheif Shepherd, [I Pet. 5:4] seen in the day of his coming glory.” 31 Auriga depicts a picture of the exalted and mighty savior, exercising his loving mercy and salvation in the midst of the scenes of judgment, just as the scriptures tell us that in the midst of wrath he remembers mercy. (Hab. 3:2)

Auriga contains the sixth brightest star in the sky: Capella, the goat star, the chief star in this decan means “She-goat,“32 and marks the heart of the mother goat. She and her kids are scared but they are safe in the arms of the shepherd. Here we see the Shepherd ruling in his authority, rescuing his own from evil, gathering and protecting as a shepherd. With our Gen. 3:15 axis closely by-passing Capella before reaching the tip of the bull’s horn piercing his heelAuriga sits astride the Milky Way, the symbolic Lord Jesus Christ, the sacrificial lamb who is coming again to execute judgment.

With the conclusion of our Gen. 3:15 axis running down through Orion, we find issuing from Orion’s foot, the River of the Judge-Eridanus, [Hab. 3:5]. This indicates Jesus‘ righteous judgment against the enemy and all the evil ones. Along the course of Eridanus, we find the Serpent-Cetus’, futile attempt to alter or stop the inexorable flow of these waters of 33
judgment with one of its claws. The evil ones will never be able to escape their doom, because of their refusal to succumb to the loving Grace of God in Christ. Thus, their end resides where these waters of judgment pool in the Lake of Fire, or the Second Death. [2 Thess. 1:7-8]

In summary, the Genesis 3:15 Axis provides a panoramic view of the Gospel in the Stars across the expanse of the signs in the Zodiacal band, of the stars named and numbered by The Creator, to relate the infinite theme of God’s eternal purpose carried and fulfilled by His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, as told in the first Messianic prophecy written in God’s Word. The truth as it is presented in the heavens by the Hand of God Himself, is indisputable, to those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

The True Desire of God’s Heart is that all men be saved, and come unto a knowledge of the truth…so it is as we see the final days approaching, we reach out with God’s loving arms to those walking in darkness, to show them the light!!

God Bless!

Rene’

The Celestial Prelude, the Star of Bethlehem and the Great Pyramid

Birth of Jesus Christ

The Celestial Prelude, the Star of Bethlehem and the Great Pyramid

One of the topics on the Biblical Astronomy of the Birth of Christ that makes our approach to this pivotal point in history unique, concerns the Coma Supernova that I’ve entitled the General Sign of The Celestial Prelude. This Supernova was visible to the naked eye for a period of about 275 years, as it has been documented in history. The second part of these heavenly signs that allowed the Magi to recognize the celestial markers of the birth of Jesus Christ are the Specific Signs of the Celestial Prelude. These signs revolve around the triple conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 7-6 BC, that gave the Magi the stellar keys to breaking the code that sent them on their 800-mile journey to Jerusalem and Bethlehem to pay homage to the new king of kings. A major departure from the confusion around the “Star of Bethlehem,” bringing a new view to the celestial signs surrounding the birth of Christ involves a fresh look at the triple planetary Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Pisces, in 7-6 BC. Historically, this series of unions has been taken for Jesus’ actual time of birth by some, and also accepted as just too early to mark his birth by others. The debate between these two major camps continues today. This study will show among other things, that while this celestial pageantry does not literally mark the actual time of the birth of the infant Jesus, we cannot discount the impact of these signs on the Magi in their search for the revelation of the promised seed. How did the Magi know what to look for in this search? What if God left a series of clues for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, making provision so they wouldn’t miss this momentous occasion? This is precisely the proposal of this study that herein lies the true significance of these rare unions of Jupiter and Saturn in Pisces in 7-6BC. Based on the details of this specific set of preliminary signs, the Magi were alerted to the series of planetary Conjunctions and heavenly signs announcing the actual birth of Christ.

Caravan of the Magi

The time frame we will be looking at for this Celestial Prelude is from 7-5 BC, and the first thing that we will notice is that the signs marking the birth of Christ are astronomical in nature. They were not some miraculous manifestation only visible to the Magi, as some have said. This is the initial clue as to what the Magi were lead to look for, not a comet, like Halley’s Comet which some have attempted to make a case for. The dates for Halley’s Comet are too early, to coincide with the birth of Christ, although it does fall within the time-frame of the General Sign of the Celestial Prelude, about 5 years before this triple union of Jupiter-Saturn. The foregoing and concurrent supernova in Coma was meant to draw attention to this general time-frame of the birth of the promised seed, and the specific signs revealed its inherent details to the Magi. The charts below compare the signs of 7-5 BC, with those of 3-1 BC, in greater detail. For our purposes here, we will focus mainly on the triple planetary Conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn from 7-5 BC in comparison with the triple planetary Conjunction of Jupiter and Regulus in 3-2 BC. We will add a few other signs to more fully sketch out and establish this comparison. The Summary of the Celestial Prelude below wraps up the indicators provided by the heavenly signs involved with these Jupiter-Saturn unions, pointing to the signs of 3-2 BC marking the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Celestial Prelude of 7 BC to 5 BC.

Dates BC Conjunction of Planets Constellation
May 27th, 7 Jupiter-Saturn Pisces
Sept. 15th, 7 Jupiter, Saturn; [ring cycle], Sun & Earth aligned. Pisces
Oct. 5th, 7 Jupiter-Saturn Pisces
Dec. 1st , 7 Jupiter-Saturn Pisces
Feb. 25th 6 Triangular massing of Jupiter, Saturn & Mars Pisces
Mar. 5th , 6 Jupiter-Mars Pisces
Mar. 23rd, 5 Total Lunar Eclipse Virgo
April 15-20, 6 Lunar occultation Series
Sept. 15th, 5 Total Lunar Eclipse Pisces

These series of planetary Conjunctions involving Jupiter certainly drew the focus of the Magi to the king planet, which they recognized as “his star.” They would have noted Jupiter’s triple planetary union with Saturn, and we know today that this union was caused by Jupiter’s retrograde motion. The Magi would have noted these triple unions involving Jupiter in both 7-5 and 3-2 BC. Therefore, the Magi would have been watchful not only of Jupiter’s motion, but vigilant also for a triple union associated with its retrograde motion. Perhaps we can begin to see the wisdom of the Heavenly Father’s choice of stellar signs, which make up this celestial epistle of introduction, for the Magi to mark the signs surrounding Jesus’ birth. These clues alone would have provided the Magi much on their way to finding the Messiah, but God had a lot more in store. After these Jupiter-Saturn triple Conjunctions, there was a massing of planets including Mars, after which followed a key Conjunction involving Mars. Finally, on the heels of this Conjunction including Mars, in the next month came a remarkable series of lunar occultations, followed by the Blood Moon total lunar eclipses in 5 BC. These preliminary signs not only provided the Magi with the blueprints they would need to recognize the celestial signs identifying the time frame of the birth of Christ in 3-2 BC, but they also set the pattern of Total Blood Moon Lunar eclipses, foretelling the victorious return of Christ. The fact that the signs of this dress rehearsal unfolded over a period in excess of 2 years was also a clue of what to expect, when the curtain actually arose on the celestial pageantry of the birth of Christ. With a period of exactly 2 years from Sept, 15th of 7 BC to Sept. 15th of 5 BC as seen in the chart above, setting the stage for two Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions bracketing the heavenly signs marking the actual birth of Christ between August 31st, 3BC and Aug. 21st of 1 BC, we can see how the Magi would recognize these specific markers leading them to the promised seed-Jesus Christ.

Also, the fact that these signs almost all occur in Pisces, is interesting due in part to an ancient eastern tradition, that the influence of the sign of Pisces, the fishes presided over the land surrounding and including Israel. Others believed that Pisces symbolized the House of Jacob, and with the obvious presence of the King planet Jupiter, would spell out why the Magi came to Jerusalem looking for the King of Israel. This relationship of Jupiter-Saturn heavenly signs relating to Israel dates back in history even to include the births of Moses and Abraham. In the following reference to JupiterSaturn unions related to the birth of Moses, R.H. Allen has likely isolated a quote from Abrabanel referenced by Kepler;

“The Rabbis held a tradition, recorded by Abrabanel in the 15th Century, that a similar Conjunction took place three years previous to the birth of Moses, and they anticipated another at their Messiah’s advent.”1 [emphasis mine]

Plate a. The Triple Planetary Conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn in 7 -6 BC. 2

Triple conjunction

A major contemporary proponent of the 7-6 triple Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn marking the actual time of Jesusbirth is David Hughes. He is convinced that Jesus was born September 15th of 7BC, based on this series of unions of Jupiter and Saturn. He has taken note of how these conjunctions point to the birth of Christ, following a modified version of Kepler’s view. However, he admits a feeling of uncertainty about the final summaries of his hypothesis, because Jupiter could never have been seen as one star, as their closest approach was only 0.98 degrees. Hughes confusion is typical of that surrounding the view of the “Star of Bethlehem,” which at least in part is based on the lack of recognition and separation of the general and specific signs marking Jesus’ birth. As we can see, the specific signs of the Celestial Prelude, and their corroboration of the signs from 3-2 BC, meet all the provisions of the genuine signs marking the birth of the Messiah. With the 7-6 BC triple union of Jupiter and Saturn setting the pattern of the Specific signs of Celestial Prelude, let’s take a more detailed look these preliminary signs in the triple Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn.

i. May 27th, 7 Jupiter and Saturn in Conjunction in Pisces, with the Sun and Mercury in GeminiVenus in Cancer, Mars in Virgo and Moon in Pisces. [Fig. i.]

In this first preliminary sign we find Jupiter the scepter and King planet in union with Saturn symbolic of Satan, the fallen Morning Star, in Pisces near dawn in the eastern sky as a result of Jupiter’s proper motion.

Figure i. May 27th, 7BC Jupiter-Saturn in Conjunction in Pisces. 3

birth of jesus

The first thing to notice about the specific signs of the Celestial Prelude from 7-5 BC, is that this first Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn shows the authority of the scepter of the kingdom resident with Lucifer in his first estate as the Angel of light. He was set apart and alone in his authority from the celestial signs that follow, outside of the clearly marked two-year period from September 15th 7BC to September 15th 5BC, containing the rest of these specific preliminary signs.

Its purpose is to mark the first estate of Lucifer as the original bright and Morning Star, second only to God the Creator, in the 1st Heaven and Earthhead over all the angels as the angel of light, prior to the Creation of Man in the Garden of Eden. Let’s take some time to digress here and set the background of Lucifer’s history according to the accuracy of God’s Word written in the stars, and in Scripture. This first sign refers to Lucifer in his original estate as the “star of the morning” as Isaiah 14 tells us:

Isaiah 14:12

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Figure ii. The Precession of the Northern Polestar from Thuban to Polaris.

Draco at the North Pole

These signs and constellations at the North Pole or circumpolar stars were reflective of the “Royal Family” since they never set, and their narratives are some of the most popular in Greek Mythology. Perseus’ deliverance of Andromeda from the dread Sea Monster Typhon/Cracken, is a good example, which Hollywood captured in “Clash of the Titans.” Even in veiled mythological references, we can see the light of the narrative of the returning redeemer shining through to deliver his flocks. Bullinger refers to this precession of the North pole and the star Al Ruccaba specifically as follows:

Although the star does not revolve like the others, the central point in the heavens is very slowly but steadily moving. When these constellations were formed the Dragon possessed this important point, and the star alpha, in Draco, marked this central point. But by its gradual recession, that point is sufficiently near this star Ruccaba, in the Lesser Sheepfold, (Ursa Minor) for it to be what is called “the Polar Star.” But how could it have been known five or six thousand years ago? How could it have been known when it received its name, which means the turned or ridden on? That it was known is clear: so likewise was it made known in the written Word that the original blessing included not merely the multiplication of the seed of the faithful Abraham, but it was then added, “And thy seed shall possess the gate of thy enemies,”3 [Gen. 22:17].

This is an obvious indicator of the accuracy of these God-inspired star names [Ps. 147:4], dating back to antiquity, and the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs, showing divine insight inherent in the heavens from earliest times. This establishes a previous point that the purpose of God’s Revelatory Astronomy stands in juxtaposition to the evolutionary theories governing modern scientific Astronomy. Bullinger’s reference also shows the witness of the stars in concert with that of the Scriptures that is a consistent testimony throughout this study, and a primary theme of our try-god blog and website.

This stellar transition of the pole star reflects an aspect of the transition of power from the fallen Morning star, who presided over ten categories of precious stones, representing 1/3 of angels [Ezek. 28:14], to the Risen Morning Star [Rev. 22:16], presiding over 12 categories of precious stones, representing the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 signs of the zodiac, and later the 12 apostles at the foundations of the Age of Grace and the New Jerusalem.

The demise of Lucifer is indicated in the astronomical mechanism known as the precession of the poles, with the star Thuban: alpha draconis, the brightest star in Draco the dragon, as the original pole star. The precession of the poles indicates Lucifer’s demise, because the pole star has moved in the polar circle from Draco in the dragon’s tail, now residing near Polaris, or Al Ruccaba of the “little flock” of Ursa Minor. The pole star between the feet of the crowned king Cepheus, depicts Jesus Christ in at least two ways. First, as the prominent king, and new Chief Cornerstone, since Cepheus is the crowned king, even as Regulus the king star, is between the feet of Leo, the Lion king of Judah; [Gen.49:8-10].
Cepheus also means ” the branch” and is depicted as a king holding a branch/sceptre at the north pole, [Jer. 23:5, 33:15]. Secondly, and with spiritual hindsight, he is the head of his spiritual body, the Church. God put all things under Christ’s feet, indicating his seven-fold lordship over all Creation; [Eph. 1:20-23]. The exception to this, of course is God Himself, Who Christ ultimately subjects himself to [I Cor. 15:27-28], avoiding the pitfall of Lucifer’s egotistical demise. The Decan of Cepheus depicts the Royal king and redeemer coming quickly to rule, enthroned in the highest, at the northern polar reaches of the heavens. With his scepter in hand and the Northern Pole Star symbolizing all things in Creation under his feet, as seen in the capstone of the Great Pyramid, we have powerful imagery of the Authority and Dominion of the King of Kings. As the principles of Biblical Astronomy tell us, the star names relate the narrative of each constellation they appear in. There are 19 main stars in Cepheus, three of which we focus on here.

Zech. 6:12-13 “Thus speaks the Lord of Hosts, saying behold the man whose name is the Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.” v. 13 “Even he shall build the Temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”

Here we see the promised seed of the woman clothed in the celestial royalty of absolute dominion over all Creation. The name “Cepheus” has possible Egyptian linguistic roots in “Cheops” or Khufu the Pharoah whose Dynasty saw the construction of the Great Pyramid. In the Dendera Zodiac, Cepheus is known as Pe-Ku-hor; meaning “one coming to rule” which is consistent with the star names below. The 3 primary stars of Cepheus are as follows;

1. Al Deraminhe who comes quickly from the right Arm or Hand of the Father-The Hand of Blessing. [Ps. 16:7-11, 118:14-24]
2. Al Phirk-signifying the Redeemer and the stars of his flocks [Ursa Minor and Major].
3. Al Rai-The Shepherd who bruises or breaks.
[Ps. 23; and the 7 Redemptive Names of God embodied in the Shepherd.]

Figure iii. Cepheus the Crowned King with the Al Rucabba- the current Polar Star underfoot.

Thus we have the Redeeming Shepherd coming quickly from the right hand of God who bruises or breaks, to redeem his flocks. An interesting note regarding these 3 primary stars at the North Celestial Pole, as the Pole star recedes according to the Precession of the Poles, each of these three brightest stars in Cepheus will inherit the title and function of Pole star, currently occupied by Polaris of Usra Minor. 4 Starting around 4000 AD in 1500 year intervals, these primary stars of Cepheus will occupy the coveted “Pole Position;”

1st  Al Deramin- circa 4000 AD
2nd Al Phirk- circa 5500 AD
3rd Al Rai- circa 7000 AD

The star Al Deramin is indicative of the Boundary Stone of the Great Pyramid, as the Pyramid’s Bethlehem Line marks out a highway through the desert wilderness that Israel traveled under Moses to get to the promised land. I have referred to the Great Pyramid as a primary monument and touchstone of the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs, that embodies the Covenants of God, written in the Stars, in Scripture, in Stone and incarnate in the Man Jesus Christ. One way we find the Great Pyramid depicting the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs is in what is known as “Horizon-based astronomy.” The Great Pyramid is also aligned with the sun. In the summer, the sun sets between the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre. When these three elements are seen together, the sun between the two pyramids, they form the hieroglyph for “horizon”, or akhet, in Fig iv. The Great Pyramid is also known as the “Horizon of Khufu”, which is evidence that the perfect alignment of this Pyramid with the solar path of the ecliptic is not a coincidence.

A fascinating example of this is found in Figure v. below, wherein the center of this graphic the Great Pyramid is aligned to the Horizon sunset of the Rev. 12 sign on 9-23-25-2017, when the Sun is clothing Virgo and the Moon is at her feet, also witnessing Christ’s birth on Sept. 11th 3 BC, in Fig. vii.  As we have held for many years, this is a prophecy for the birth and return of Christ coming in all his glory, in connection with the 2014-15 Blood Moon Tetrad, which opened 1260 days prior to the Rev. 12 sign of 2017, starting in the Passover Blood Moon on 4-15-2014, and in the Rev. 12 sign of Fig. v.

Robert Breaker Exposed false prophet | What will happen on September 23 2017

As the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx are the two stone witnesses of the Giza Plateau, their coordinated testimony established the tenets of the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs. With the ancient testimony of the Great Sphinx embodied in Virgo the head of the woman with Leo the Lion’s body, facing the eastern autumnal equinox the Sphinx is directing us to the setting Sun in Virgo as pictured with the Pyramid’s horizon view in Virgo. This is a clear example of the tandem testimony of the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid established in the Hieroglyph in Figure vi. below, of the Sun over the female head of the Virgo-Lion. Of course, the Sun annually visits Virgo for 20 days, but the Moon is at Virgo’s feet on only one day during these times in history, fulfilling the elements for the sign of Rev. 12:1-2. Thus it is during these times that we must pay close attention to Virgo’s celestial activity, as the Magi did, which is evident in the 12 Characteristics of the Celestial Prelude, below. In this way, the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx establish astronomical and Scriptural witness of the Sept. 11the 3 BC date for Christ’s birth with uniquely exciting evidence.

The union of the ends of the ecliptic in the Great Sphinx, with the Sun in Virgo, as seen in the ancient Egyptian Temple of Esneh.

The heiroglyph for the Sun in Virgo is pictured above in the relief of the Temple of Esneh, which removes any conjecture about the nature and gender of the female-headed Lion, NOT a male Pharaoh! As the Great Pyramid is aligned on the horizon Sun in Virgo, it intersects the first layer of truth regarding the Great Sphinx and the Pyramid’s combined testimony of the Rev. 12 sign, but it does not stop there. As the Pyramid’s horizon view is extended beyond Virgo we can see it highlighting Coma, a Decan of Virgo, in Figure vii.

Figure vii. Virgo “clothed with the Sun with the Moon at her feet” on 9-11-3 BC, with the decan Coma “Berenices” pictured according to Greek Myth as a woman’s wig. 8

In addition to the Great Pyramid’s sunset alignments that opened to New Years Day on the Hebrew Calendar of Rosh Hashanah in Sept. 2017, there were also Sunrise alignments related to the Great Pyramid’s Ascending Passage union of Venus-Regulus in [Fig. v.] in Leo Thus on Sept. 20, 2017, there was an added alignment of Venus in union with Regulus at this time, so Venus the “Bright and Morning Star” was aligned with the “King Star”, precisely at the Christ angle of the Ascending Passage in the Great Pyramid.
We will handle this in greater detail in a separate study, but it helps to be aware of the multiple horizon alignments of the Great Pyramid with the rising and setting Sun on this pivotal day in history, and the narratives of truth that they carry. As we find in the Fig. vii. depiction of the Coma Decan, the original star picture of this decan of Virgo, was changed in Greek Myth so that the truths of the Christ Child in the lap of his mother Mary were hidden, as seen in Figure viii below. This decan of Comapoints out the Coma Supernova that was so bright as to be visible in the day time with the naked eye, for over 275 years, leading to the birth of Christ, in 3 BC. I have termed this the General Sign of the Celestial Prelude, the Christ Child– and the Promised seed who was the desired of the nations, [Hag. 2:7] in the “L” shaped decan of Coma, where this Supernova in the head of [Christos] the Christ was preserved in the Dendera Zodiac

This Coma Supernova proposal as the General sign of the Celestial Prelude is a concept I first formulated in the late 90’s, based on a historical study of the Bethlehem Star, and published on the original Try-God.com website in the early 2000’s. However, it was not until recently that I saw the corroborating testimony of the Great Pyramid’s horizon Sunset alignments, and the weight of evidence added to this topic as a result. It is exciting to realize how the tandem testimony of the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid, work together in a practical sense even into modern times, showing some current applications of this Astronomy of the ancient Biblical Patriarchs, shedding added spiritual light on the plans of the Almighty announcing the future return of Lord Jesus Christ, related to the Rev. 12 sign of 9-23-17.

Here we can see these plans in the context of the “Daystar” in 2 Pet. 1:19:

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Thus we find that this Sceptre in Leo can be seen not only in the alignment of Venus with Regulus in Leo, but with the Horizon alignment of the Sun in Virgo and its decan of Coma holding the infant Christ child in his mother’s lap,  in the unified testimony of the “Daystar” in 2 Pet. 1:19.

Certainly, this verse speaks more loudly to us not only regarding the birth of Christ, as the Coming of the Promised seed enlightened the spiritual darkness of this world, confirming and fulfilling God’s Word in the flesh. The Sonrise of the ages dawned for all mankind, in the setting Sun of Tishri 1, 3 BC, providing a dual fulfillment of this “daystar” not only seen in Venus the Bright and Morning Star, but also in the Coma Supernova, that warned the Magi of the Christ, so they would not miss the signs of this Celestial Prelude, leading to the birth of Christ. The historical context of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions was utilized by many world cultures to break down the very long cycle of the precession of the equinoxes, including Hebrew Cosmology evident in Genesis 1:6-10, and the world-views of ancient Sumeria, Babylon, Egypt and in Meso-America. According to this pattern, Jupiter-Saturn triple unions occur in Pisces only once every 800 years. This exhibits how the Conjunction series subdivides the precession, which totals a period of about 25,920 years, because every 30 cycles of Jupiter-Saturn triple conjunctions that occur in Pisces totals the period of 24,000 years, a time close to the full cycle of precession.

The “normal Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Pisces on April 24th, 126 BC is unique to our purpose due to its proximity to the appearance of the Coma Supernova. Since it was Hipparchus about one hundred twenty-five years before Christ, who observed this supernova in Coma as a new star, putting this sighting close to 128 BC. This sighting was confirmed by the Church Father Ignatius in 69 ADAfter the Coma Supernova first appeared, a notable Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Pisces on April 24th, 126 BC, took place. This Jupiter-Saturn union was one in a series on the ecliptic paralleling the Band of Pisces holding the horizontal fishtail of PiscesFigure ix below shows 7 Jupiter-Saturn unions in Pisces from 185 BC to 54 AD, leading to Jesus’ birth. During this Jupiter-Saturn union, Venus also appears in the loop of the Band located at the future location of the June 8th, 7 BC union of Jupiter-Saturn nearly 120 years later. The Band with the horizontal fish of Pisces, here embodies a countdown not only to the opening of the Piscean Age marked by this triple union of Jupiter-Saturn, but also the signs marking the birth of Christ.

Figure ix. 7 Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions in Pisces from 185 to 54 AD. 10

185BC-54AD

According to [Gen. 15:4-5], the Fish of Pisces reflect “the multitude of Abraham’s seed where God compares his future posterity to the stars of the sky, and the sand upon the seashore. This very great multitude of fish [Ezek 47:9] also recalls Jesus with his disciples during his resurrection appearance to them by the sea [John 21:5ff], and the miracle of the 153 fish in the unbroken net. Figure ix, depicts the triple union of Jupiter-Saturn in 7 BC in white letters with the June 8th, 7 BC union in the loop of the Band as Jupiter initiates its retrograde loop with Saturn. In 7 BC in the constellation Pisces, this Jupiter-Saturn triple Conjunction also coincided with the dawn of a new Precessional Age, the Age of Pisces, with a subsequent age every 2160 years. After this Jupiter-Saturn triple Conjunctions, there was a planetary massing of Jupiter-Saturn and Mars, after which a key Conjunction with Mars, took place. This unique Feb. 25th, 6 BCtriangular massing of  planets Jupiter, Saturn and Mars, was referred to by Kepler; as the “decisive Conjunction of 6 BC that opened our precessional age of Pisces.” As we have noted, Kepler also advanced the idea that the Magi were guided to Judea by the appearance of this series of Conjunctions.

This could make him a larger presence in the history of Astronomy, even more than what he is already accredited with, due to the spiritual nature of this insight. And there are other historical figures who could be recognized for their input on this subject. The famous Roman poet Virgil is worthy of consideration here from some of his early work in his Eclogues10 volumes of his pastoral verses. Virgil’s, good reputation in the ancient astronomical community, was seen in the honorary title of a “prophet of Christianity” given by his peers, for declaring that a great new order of centuries was now being born during the period of this Jupiter-Saturn triple union. In his Fourth Eclogue, he declared the return of the Golden Age, showing the influence of the traditional prophecy of the coming redeemer in Greece at the time: “Now the Virgin returns, now a new generation descends from heaven on high. Only thou pure Lucina, smile on the birth of the child, under whom the iron brood shall first cease, and a golden race spring up throughout the world.”11

The summary of the Celestial Prelude below shows the specific signs that led the Magi to the birth of Christ.

12 Characteristics of the Celestial Prelude

  • Jupiter was clearly marked as “his star.”
  • Jupiter was involved in a triple planetary Conjunction.
  • Jupiter was involved in a series of planetary conjunctions.
  • Jupiter’s retrograde motion would play a key role.
  • Jupiter’s triple union was followed by a massing of planets.
  • This massing of planets was followed by a Mars Conjunction.
  • The Jupiter-Mars Conjunction was followed by a series of lunar occultations, and total lunar eclipses.
  • This series of conjunctions would last about two years.
  • The annual twenty days when the Sun is in Virgo would be a key.
  • The September 15th alignment of Jupiter, Saturn the Earth and Sun in 7 BC that occurred in the evening at sunset, directed the Magi’s attention to the end of the 20-day period when Virgo was “clothed with the Sun.” [Rev. 12:1-2]
  • The second lunar eclipse on September 15th of 5 BC established that the Magi should be watchful of lunar activity during this time. This framed the 42 minute period between Sunset and Moonset on the only day of the year when Virgowas clothed with the Sun and the moon under her feet.” [Rev. 12:1-5]
  • The September 15th Heliacal Rising of Jupiter and Saturn foreshadowed the Heliacal Setting of Spica, located between the setting Sun and Moon in Virgo, identifying a 30- minute period when the birth of Christ happened.

As the first-born of the Church-the Spiritual Body of Christ, Jesus is certainly the Head of a new and everlasting “golden race” of Saints who casts the serpent’s seed under-foot. [Gen. 3:15] The Magi certainly belong at the top of the list as the only Gentile kings and Astronomers to accurately recognize and act on what they believed concerning the birth of Christ the king of kings. Their role in this historic and epic saga of the long-awaited promised seed cannot be overlooked as they brought powerful recognition of Christ to the world and the local powers in Jerusalem. As we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, our sins are forgiven and we are saved, [Rom. 10:9-10] joining that golden race of Saints and inheriting all the everlasting benefits and rewards that go with this honor.

This horizon is rapidly approaching though all seems to remain the same. Knowing the framework of the end times and the Heavenly Father’s only way of escape through salvation and redemption in Jesus Christ are crucial, even as Christ embodies the crux of human history. We certainly have much to be grateful and thankful for during the holidays, even as Hannukah starts this weekend!

God’s Abundant Blessings to all in this Joyous Holiday Season

Merry Christmas!

Biblical Astronomy of the 2019 Mercury Transit and the Jupiter-Venus Unions

Birth of Jesus Christ
Biblical Astronomy of the 2019 Mercury Transit and the Jupiter-Venus Unions

We are in for some celestial treats this month not only with an upcoming Mercury Transit to open next week, but this also includes a notable union of Jupiter and Venus starting this weekend. Our most recent Mercury Transit took place in May of 2016 that we noted in our April 30th blog at the time. Mercury transits take place about 13 times per century, and the next Mercury Transit will not occur for another 13 years. 1 Mercury and Venus are the only planets that transit, or move in front of the Sun from Earth’s view, because their orbits are the only ones in our Solar System between the Sun and Earth’s orbit. According to Norton’s Star Atlas: “Mercury’s orbit rarely leads to a direct alignment, taking place an average of twice every 10 years, and only during the months of November or May. “the November variety is more common, repeating at intervals of 7, 13 and 46 years. May transits recur at intervals of 13 and 46 years. 2

In an excerpt from our April 2016 blog we noted that;

As the sky signs of 2016 including the Lunar Eclipse Sextet of 2014-2016 and the May 9th, Mercury Transit set the stage for a replay of the birth signs of Jesus Christ from Rev.12 in September of 2017. We should keep in mind that the replay of these Rev. 12 birth signs of Christ in 2017 including Jupiter the King Planet and Royal Sceptre being birthed in Virgo on 9/9/17, after spending a “gestation period” in retrograde motion in Virgo’s mid-section. This is interesting when we consider the retrograde motion of Mercury leading to this, because in Sept. 2015 during the culmination of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, we saw the [Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet] on Sept. 17th 2015, along with the Sept. 17th [Mercury-Spica triple union in Virgo]. This occurred 2 years prior to the Sept. 2017 replay of the birth signs of Christ which were followed by the Sept. 30th, 2017lowest point retrograde motion of Mercury in Virgo. On 10/29/15 Mercury was also birthed in Virgo after a gestation period of nearly six weeks. The following also shows the Mercury-Venus union series that resulted from Mercury’s retrograde in Virgo.

The Mercury-Venus Conjunctions of 2016-2017

1. May 13th, 2016 in Taurus relates to the April 28th, 2016 to May 22nd, 2016 Mercury Retrograde.

2. July 16th, 2016 in Leo

3. August 27th, 2016 in Leo takes place on the eve of the inception of Mercury moving into retrograde starting August 30th, 2016

4. March 16th, 2017

5. December 15th, 2017 relates to the retrograde motion of Mercury from Dec. 2nd 2017 to Dec. 22nd 2017.

Here we can see that these five Mercury-Venus Conjunctions, are bracketed by the first retrograde motion of Mercury in May of 2016 to the last retrograde motion ending on Dec. 22nd, 2017. These Mercury-Venus unions represent Mercury-Gabriel heralding the appearance of Venus the risen Bright and Morning Star, leading to replay of the Rev. 12 signs in the Fall of 2017. With the first of these Mercury-Venus Conjunctions in 2016 set in Taurus, the Morning Star is seen in the aspect of the Coming Judge returning quickly. This Mercury-Venus Conjunction is followed by two in Leo the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the last zodiac sign emphasizing the lion’s destruction of the serpent. This shows many ways in which Mercury as the Archangel Mercury-Gabriel is announcing the victorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ as seen in Rev. 19 below.

Figure 1. The Mercury Transit in May of 2016

2006 Mercury Transit

Rev. 19:1-5

19 After these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah; Salvation, and glory, and power, belong to our God: for true and righteous are his judgments; for he hath judged the great harlot, her that corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he hath avenged the blood of his [a]servants at her hand.

And a second time they [b]say, Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up[c]for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God that sits on the throne, saying, Amen; Hallelujah. And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Give praise to our God, all ye his [d]servants, ye that fear him, the small and the great.

This awesome audible Voice from Heaven announces the Lord Jesus Christ returning WITH his Saints to destroy the beast, false prophet and those who will follow them at the battle of Armageddon. This opens the Age of Christ with the destruction of the Anti-Christ and his kingdom.

Rev. 19:11-18

11 And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon [g]called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself. 13 And he is arrayed in a garment [h]sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure15 And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the [i]winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty16 And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

17 And I saw [j]an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and
be
gathered together unto the great supper of God; 18 that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of [k]captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of them that sit thereon, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, and small and great.

Mercury Transits has been likened to verse 17 since the planet Mercury symbolizes the Messenger Archangel Gabriel. Mercury crossing the face of the Sun can be seen as this angel Gabriel “standing in the Sun” heralding the victorious return of the Light of the World and King of Kings, even as he announced the coming Promised Seed of Mary leading to his birth, [Lk. 1:26-38, Matt. 1:20-25]. This alignment osky signs including the Lunar Eclipse Sextet from 2014-2016 in the Jubilee Year of 5776 bookends the first Advent and return of the King of Kings at the right hand of God.

Another key aspect of the celestial signs of this month includes the Jupiter-Venus conjunction set for Nov. 24th, 2019. It is important to realize the celestial context of this union of Jupiter-Venus, to grasp the impact of what has occurred, not only at the birth of Christ in the signs of Rev. 12 in 3-2 BC, but also with the Celestial Sphinx signs leading to the 2017 rendition of these Rev. 12 signs.

In view of the current celestial showcase of heavenly signs surrounding to 9-23-17 replay of the Rev. 12 signs, there are matched sets of triple planetary conjunctions taking place. In past light of Jupiter’s role in the Celestial Prelude, the 2017 triple conjunction of Jupiter-Spica was heralded by two Mercury-Spica unions in 2015, within a 6-week period. The first conjunction occurred Sept. 17th, 2015, and the 2nd on October 29th, 2015Mercury-Gabriel, as messenger arch-angel gives two proclamations resulting from its retrograde motion, foreshadowing Jupiter’s 2017 retrograde motion in Virgo, forming a triple conjunction of Jupiter-Spica. This is part of the first set of planetary triple unions that held our focus in 2015Mercury-Gabriel established the triple union of Jupiter-Spica on Oct. 11th, 2016, that followed in a pre-dawn union with Jupiter, as Mercury passed within a degree of Jupiter in a Sunrise union. We could view this as Mercury establishing its announcement of the king planet Jupiter in the dawn’s early light, of the Mercury transit in May of 2016, five months later.

Remember that this takes place during the Jupiter-Venus conjunction series from 2015-2017, as part of the Celestial Sphinx signs in Virgo and Leo. This conjunction series includes 2 triple unions of Jupiter-Venus, one each in Leo then in Virgo, the head of the Woman united with the body of the Lion, as the two main components of the Great Sphinx, unifying the circle of the Hebrew zodiac in its alpha and omega signs. We find this manifested at the birth of Christ in a dazzling Jupiter-Venus conjunction in Leo on June 17th of 2 BC. It was also 2 Jupiter-Venus conjunctions that actually bracketed the majority of heavenly signs marking the birth of Christ in 3-1 BC.

A guiding principle of the study of the Celestial Sphinx dictates that we should be watchful of activity in the heavens related to both components of the Celestial SphinxFor instance, with Jupiter’s recent retrograde activity in Virgo, we also find important events in Leo around the king star Regulus-the heart of the Lion.

The 1st Jupiter-Venus Conjunction marking the birth of Christ took place on August 31st 3 BC, in Leo, with the last one occurring August 21st 1 BC, in Virgo. Here we find an interesting variation on a Celestial Sphinx sign directing us to the planetary unions of Jupiter-Venus, marking the initial fulfillment of the Rev12:1-2 prophecy relating to the sufferings of Christ in his ministry as the Passover Lamb. This alerts us that we should look for similar Celestial Sphinx signs as a precursor to the Lord’s Second Coming in glory.

Jupiter-Venus Conjunction

Keeping in mind the context of the triple conjunctions of Jupiter-Venus and the Celestial Sphinx signs, other triple planetary conjunctions related to the Celestial Sphinx will also arrest our attention. First, let’s document the recent activity of Jupiter and Venus related to the Celestial Sphinx. The following dates for signs of the Celestial Sphinx witnessed Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in Leo in the Hebrew Jubilee year of 2015-2016:

June 30th, 2015
August 25th, 2015
October 26th, 2015

The following dates saw Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in Virgo in 2016-17:

July 27th, 2016
Feb. 26th, 2017
Nov. 13th, 2017

However, before the final Jupiter-Venus union in VirgoJupiter started its 42-week retrograde motion in Virgo’s womb, during which time Jupiter completed another triple conjunction with Spica in Virgo! The precedent for this at the birth of Christ is seen in the coronation of God’s only begotten Son in the heavens with the triple conjunction of the King planet Jupiter with the King star Regulus in Leo in 3-2 BC, starting 3 days after Christ’s birth, based also on Jupiter’s retrograde motion. As we have seen regarding Jeremiah’s Messianic prophecy [Jer. 23:5], Jupiter the sedeq planet is linked with the MessiahJesus Christ the righteous zemach-branch, in one of 5 primary Old Testament prophecies regarding the Branch-Al Zemach, as Jesus Christ, the Coming Promised Seed.

This celestial activity surrounding the birth of Christ in 3-2 BC, including the impact of the Jupiter-Venus conjunctions has gotten recognition even from secular and scientific sources, which is great to see from astronomical authorities, not only like Dr. Earnest Martin but others, who have noted the presence of these Jupiter-Venus unions, but have still held back their opinions on the potential link to the birth of Christ. We can see this influence in the following quote from a recent Astronomy blog:

“Taken literally, the biblical account of the story of the Star of Bethlehem calls for not one, but two “stars.” One to be seen at the start of the Magi’s journey, while the other appearing to them upon their arrival in Bethlehem.

Interestingly, in August of 3 B.C., Venus and Jupiter were prominent in the predawn eastern sky, and on Aug. 12 they came within just 9 arc minutes (0.15 degrees) of each other as seen from the Middle East. Incidentally, this sign would have been seen by men “in the east,” explaining the phrase in the Book of Matthew.

Ten months later, Venus and Jupiter got together again for an even more spectacular encore on June 17, 2 B.C., when at sundown from Babylonia they were separated by just 4 arc minutes of each other, about 35 degrees above the western horizon. As the sky grew dark, the two brightest planets drew closer to each other until finally at 9:15 p.m. local time they drew to within 36 arc seconds (0.01 degree) equal to the mean apparent width of Jupiter as seen through a telescope, at an altitude of 15 degrees above the horizon. To most people, the two planets must have appeared to coalesce into a single “star” somewhat brighter than Venus alone. Eyeglasses were many centuries in the future, so only people with unusually acute vision would have seen the planets separated.

The fact that Jupiter and Venus had such a close conjunction at this time in history has led some people theorize that it could be an explanation for the Star of Bethlehem.” 3

However, once the details of the Jupiter-Venus unions are correlated to the signs surrounding Christ’s birth, the evidence becomes overwhelming.

Figure 2. Jupiter and Venus are due again for a repeat of their celestial rendezvous this month in Virgo on the evening of Nov. 24th as seen below. 4

To further put this celestial activity in context for 2019, I refer you to our Jan. 2019 blog which documents the first Jupiter-Venus union of 2019, linked to the lunar eclipse triads that framed the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad. Here is an excerpt from this January’s Blog;

Generally, a conjunction of Venus and Jupiter happens once a year. But this year, in 2019Venus and Jupiter will not only rendezvous the day after the Super-Blood Moon, on Jan. 22nd as seen in Fig. 3 below, but also for a 2nd notable conjunction in 2019 on the evening of Nov. 24th, 2019.

Figure 3. Jupiter-Venus union aligned with Antares the Scorpion’s Heart Jan. 22nd, 2019.

There has been notable activity with the unions of Jupiter-Venus both at the birth of Christ and again linked to the 2014-15 Blood Moon Tetradtwo years ahead of the Sept. 23rd, 2017 Rev. 12 sign.

The following dates, also show elements of the Celestial Sphinx in the Regulus unions in Leo, while the Jupiter-Venus conjunctions took place in Virgo in 2016-2017:

July 30th, 2016 Mercury-Regulus Conjunction
Aug. 5th, 2016 Venus-Regulus Conjunction
Aug. 26-27th, 2016 Jupiter-Venus conjunction [Jupiter enters Virgo]
Feb. 26th, 2017 Jupiter-Venus conjunction
Sept. 23rd, 2017 [Virgo clothed
with the Sun/Moon @ feet]-Rev. 12:1-2
Nov. 13th, 2017 Jupiter-Venus conjunction

The two brightest planets –Venus and Jupiter –teamed up to provide the closest planetary conjunction of 2014, which had been the closest Venus- Jupiter conjunction during the 6 Lunar Eclipses of 2014-2016, until August 27, 2016, when Jupiter entered Virgo to eventually be “birthed” in 2017. This Venus-Jupiter union on August 27, saw these two planets three times closer than during their 2015 union when they were separated by only 1/3 of a degree.

As we continue ti investigate the notable celestial activity of the dual significance of the Rev. 12 signs leading to both the birth and return of Christ, the heavens will disclose what the Almighty wants us to be aware of in unity with His Will, written in His Word.

God Bless,

Biblical Astronomy of the Seven Genesis Titles of Christ

Biblical Astronomy of the Seven Genesis Titles of Christ

There is a phrase in Bible Research that says; “Genesis is the book of Revelation concealed, and Revelation is the Book of Genesis revealed.” This month’s blog illustrates this truth in a number of interesting and enlightening ways. The impetus for this teaching came from one of Jon Nessle’s teachings where he mentioned “Seven Penteuech Titles of Christ” that he saw in a note from E.W. Bullinger”s Companion Bible, including the Seed, Star, Shiloh, Stone/Rock,
Shepherd, Scepter and Lawgiver.

In Genesis 3 we have the first prophecy of the Promised Seed [zera-2233] in the Bible.

14 So the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattleAnd more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”

Contained in this initial prophecy of the Promised Seed, are also the first of seven Genesis titles pertaining to Christ. Surely the Promised Seed is the key to all human generations as Christ is Lord and Savior who provides the way of access back to God, which was lost in the serpent’s temptation of Eve. As the tempter was able to spread the seeds of destruction to all mankind by tempting Eve to break God’s Command, causing the loss of man’s spiritual link with the Heavenly Father, so the need for mankind’s Reedemer-Jesus Christ became a reality. But let us not forget the ruling principle of the seed at the basis of all the Kingdoms of Life, as seen in Genesis 1.

11 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seedand the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 So the evening and the morning were the third day.

Much more than Maverick’s “need for speed” in the movie “Topgun,” mankind has a much bigger “need for seed” and the redemption only available in the perfect seed, Jesus Christ. The concept of this Genesis title is developed further in the line of Abraham in Genesis 15:2-7;

But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing[b]go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one[c] born in my house is my heir!”

And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants [seed] be.” And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

Then He said to him, “am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

In verse 5 above, God draws a direct comparison for Abraham between his seed and the stars of the celestial gospel.

The word for “seed” here in God’s promise to Abraham is (H2233zera), which has an interesting history of usage in both sacred and profane writings. In the Chaldean star religion, which had such a strong corrupting influence throughout the ancient world, he who was this “great seed” was also the Sun incarnate. Hislop tells us that:

“Symbolically the emblem for the sun was a circle, in reference to the sun’s ecliptical path.” 1 The true great seed prophetically is Jesus Christ, the promised redeemer of mankind referred to in Jeremiah 33.

Jer. 33:20-22

20 Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break My covenant of the day, and My covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season21Then may also My covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. 22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

God inspires Jeremiah to make an inseparable connection between His “covenant of the dayand My covenant of the night,” and His “covenant with the seed of David my servant.” Why? One reason is the heavens tell of God’s Covenant with the seed of David with precision, corresponding with the regular observance of their Sabbatical and Jubilee years, in harmony with the Soli-lunar calendar of Israel. Jesus Christ the embodiment of the seed of David, came to fulfill the Scripture, and began his ministry in the Sabbatical Year of 27-28 AD, as part of the OT Hebrew Jubilee cycle. All 12 signs of the mazzaroth with each decan, tell a chapter of the struggle between the seed of the woman versus the serpent’s seed, as prophesied by God in Genesis 3:15. The Promised Seed Jesus Christ is the master key to unlocking the secrets of both the Celestial Gospel and the Scriptures, not to mention true Archaeo-Astronomy.

Hislop’s comments are relevant in that; “the hieroglyphical relation between zero, the circle, and zero, the seed, was easily established.”2 Hislop gives a nod to the correlation between The Promised Seed, in light of the mathematical implications of zero, and the geometric significance of the circle, and that these relations go far beyond their mere hieroglyphical associations. This also relates to how Christ as the Shepherd of Psalm 23 embodies the Jehovah-Names of God, as we will see below.

In Genesis 17:1-9 we find more on Abraham’s story;

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am
[a]Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of [b]many nations. No longer shall your name be called [c]Abram, but your name shall be [d]Abraham; for I have made you a father of [e]many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants [seed] after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in[f] which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an ever-lasting possession; and I will be their God.” And God said to Abraham: “As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.

The Faith of Abraham is the undeniable foundation of Christian faith today. [Rom. 4]

Figuratively, the Sun as a symbol of the promised seedJesus Christ, weaves his way through the circular path of the ecliptic and the 12 houses of the Hebrew Mazzaroth, showing us the basic relationship between God’s earthly seed and His heavenly seed.

Gen. 22:17-18

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice. [Num. 24:7]

The union of the Alpha-Omega signs of Leo the lion, with the woman Virgo in the female-headed Great Sphinx also depict the life of Jesus, from birth, starting in the Star-set of Spica on September 11th, 3 BC. This is depicted in Gen. 49:9 as his human maturation from lion’s whelp, where his prey is provided for him, to stalking his own prey, unto his ultimate victory casting down and rending the dragon. This is the three-fold theme that ties directly to the celestial wonders of Revelation 12, linking God’s Word together with His stellar revelation. We find this set for us at the canonical start and close of both the Biblical and stellar gospels, forming a parallel testimony of the Scriptures with the stars. We have seen powerful specific examples of this in the celestial triple coronation ceremony of the three unions of Jupiter and Regulus in Leo, marking the birth of Christ. We even see the influence of this theme surviving in the famed mythology of the “Riddle of the Sphinx.” In the Greek mythology surrounding the female-headed Sphinx, she asks Oedipus the riddle; What is the animal which goes on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon and three legs at night?

The Sphinx and Oedipus

Image may contain: one or more people

His reply is Man, crawling as an infant, walking erect in manhood and in old age with a staff. 3
This mirrors the celestial symbolism of the Jupiter-Regulus triple unions seen in Genesis 49:9 depicting the growth cycle of the lion from whelp, to adult lion, to the aged lion at rest. This is another example of the corrupting influence of myth that still retains elements of the truth it hides. This triple Conjunction of Jupiter and Regulus in Leo marking the birth of Christ, also exemplifies the narrative of the celestial gospel, the great stellar witness of the ages which embodies God’s first revelation to the Patriarchs, beginning with Adam. As the star names of the 12 Constellations of the zodiac along with each of their decans relate aspects of the nature, sufferings and glory of the Promised Seed, so this witness is summarized in the first and last zodiacal signs that compromise the Great Sphinx. All of this is established by the witness of Scripture, as we’ve seen in Gen. 49:8-10, for example among many others, setting the truth in stone.

In Genesis 49 we find important Messianic prophecies relating to Jesus Christ in context of Jacob’s blessings of his 12 sons, and the Genesis titles of ChristGen. 49:8-10 delineates God’s promises for the tribe of Judah;

Judah,[b] your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to youYou are a lion’s cub, Judahyou return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies downlike a lioness—who dares to rouse him?
10 The scepter will not depart from Judahnor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,[c]
until [Shiloh] he to whom it belongs[d] shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

Verse 10 refers to the scepter and the “ruler’s staff” also translated as “Lawgiver” in the KJV, and Shiloh, all three of which are Genesis titles of Christ. As this cluster of Genesis Christ titles is an eye-opener, we should pay extra attention to the witness of Scripture in Genesis 49.

The “Lawgiver” [H2710] is a key Christ title, as one who decrees, ordains and inscribes laws. 4
As Proverbs 8 extolls the virtues of godly wisdom, we learn that it is by wisdom that Kings and Princes decree justice, [8:15]. A key aspect of the Lawgiver is found in Job, in reference to the Great Sphinx which embodies the decrees of God’s Word written in the stars for the Biblical Patriarchs.

Job 19:23-25
Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were printed in a book! [24] That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock forever! [25] For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

These verses are indicative not only of Job’s knowledge of his coming redeemer, but also of his faith that this redeemer would stand at a future latter day upon the earth. This knowledge directly corresponds both, in a witness that was engraved in the rock forever, remaining unto our day, and the witnesses of the celestial and written gospels. The word “For,” beginning verse 25, depicts the purpose of his words along with a monumental witness in stone, whose longevity has lasted into our day, as a witness to the redeemer that Job foresaw so long ago. Thus Job’s reference, in this majestic declaration of his redeemer, graven in rock forever, is easily associated with this enduring memorial on the Giza plateau, analogous to the prophecy written in the stars in Leo and Virgo. In the only Patriarchal book of the Bible, Job’s words certainly stand out as a reference to the witness of the stars and in stone, the witness God provided to the Biblical Patriarchs in the Bible’s first canonical book written by Job.

The Great Sphinx

ancient egypt

In all likelihood, a later derivation of the word “sphinx” is found in the Egyptian “shesep ankh,” meaning a living image. 5 However, instead of the living idol images of gods or pharaohs, our proposal is that the Great Sphinx was originally intended as an oracle of the promised seed and the Messiah, with its living aspects included in the changing astronomy surrounding the signs of Virgo and Leo. Both Lockyer and Rolleston state, the Great Sphinx symbolizes the Summer
Solstice 4000 years before Christ, sealed by the union of Virgo and Leo. Rolleston notes that this junction of Virgo and Leo is marked by the star Denebola, which is a name meaning “the Lord or Judge who comes quickly,” 6 thus representing the living image, of the Lord Jesus Christ coming in judgment. As Denebola is the star marking the union of Virgo and Leo, the alpha and omega signs of the Biblical zodiac, this prophetic message of the coming Messiah has endured as the largest, and most famous sculpture on the planet.

To further cement the link between the Great Sphinx and the Scriptures, let’s take a look at Psalm 19:

Psalm 19:1-5

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handiwork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

The word “line” in verse 4 refers to the ecliptic as the path in the Sun’s Tabernacle, at the end of the verse. These 12 houses or “Tabernacles of the Sun” refer to the 12 signs of the zodiac
and the 12 tribes of Israel, the Bride of the Bridegroom. Here, the Bible compares the Sun to a Bridegroom in verse 5, running a race-course through the circuit of heaven, the 12 signs of the ecliptic and their decans. The Great Sphinx elucidates the details of the 19th Psalm because it unifies these Tabernacles of the Sun, first with Virgo, the woman, the Bride-Israel and last with Leo, the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Thus, all the tribes are presented to the Lord in preparation for the marriage supper of the Lamb, preserved in a great stone monument for the ages. As this magnificent monolith witnesses to the Astronomy of the Biblical Patriarchs, the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid preserved the principles of Biblical Astronomy
timelessly. The witness of Scripture continues in the Book of Job, which contains more overt astronomical references, with ancient Biblical star names than any other book in the Bible.

Job 38:31-33
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? [32] Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? [33] Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

From a Biblical view the Gospel in the Stars is central to the Book of Job, since this was where God gave the Patriarchs the stellar witness and celestial narrative of the promised redeemer of man. Job’s divine writings are the only Scripture recorded, that is addressed to the Patriarchal Age. When we consider the Hebrew word “mazzaroth,” we find a very early reference to the 12 signs of the zodiac, occurring only in Job. There are other later references to these 12 signs of the ecliptic in Scripture, but this gives us more evidence of the antiquity of this knowledge of the entire zodiac, in the context of the Biblical Patriarchs. When Job spoke these words however, the Bible, or even the Pentateuch was not written yet by Moses the lawgiver. Thus, we see in verse 23, Job’s desire that his book would be part of the sacred written oracles that would correspond to this bedrock truth in the Great Sphinx, engraved in stone as a testimony to his coming redeemer.

The word “graven” *H2710 [chaqaq] in Job 19:24 means: to cut, carve, hew, square, quarry, mason or engrave. 6 This is the same word translated as “lawgiver” in Gen. 49:10, and is the same root for the word “ordinances” in Job 38:33, in the sense that the ordinances or laws of God and nature, were many times engraved in stone, or carved in a tablet. As we say God’s Word is set in stone. An important point to realize regarding this word [chaqaq] is that it is translated as “Lawgiver” in Deut. 33:21. This relates to another ancient Egyptian name of the SphinxBel-hit, which also means the “Lord who cometh.” Deuteronomy 33, records the Song of Moses, and the fifth chapter of Judges contains the Song of Deborah, both of which list the Tribes of Israel. Another occurrence of “Lawgiver” is seen below in Genesis 49, also a listing of the Tribes of Israel, all of which refer to the Biblical zodiac, containing celestial and Scriptural links to each of the tribes. These Biblical lists of the 12 tribes of Israel are refined in the discussion of the breastplate of Israel’s High Priest, which models its zodiacal symbolism. Is there a more revealing context for this important element of the Great Sphinx to appear in?

Gen 49:10
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. [KJV]

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah“- “sceptre” is [H7626 shebet] 7 in the Hebrew, the same word used in Numbers 24:17; referring to the “star [H3556-kowkab] 8 out of Jacob and sceptre out of Israel.” This star out of Jacob is a clear reference to the planet
Jupiter-the King planet and the key role its triple union with Regulus played in the astronomy of the birth of Christ, in 3 BC.

lawgiver from between his feet“- Regulus the king star and the brightest star in Leo.  “The Arabic word “regel” means “foot” and is identical in meaning to the Aramaic word “regla”
and the Hebrew word “regel” tying in with “from between his feet” above. In this one verse the Lion of JudahLeo, intertwines with the lawgiver coming from between his feet, symbolizing the king star Regulus [see Psalm 60:7]. 9 This gives a clear Biblical picture of the stellar elements of the Jupiter-Regulus triple union in Leo the lion of the tribe of Judah, seen in the three stages of the lion’s growth in Genesis 49:9!

Lawgiver“- *H2710 [chaqaq10 meaning; to cut or engrave, inscribe, establish, ordain, to decree, to be a leader, a ruler, a lawgiver; a scepter. It occurs 19 times in the Hebrew O.T. The primary meaning is “writing or drawing in the sense of etching,” [Isa. 30:8; in a book] The root can mean to enact a decree [In Prov. 8:15 a governor decreeing justice with wisdom.] This word [chaqaq] attests to the power of the coordinated decrees of God’s Word first written in the stars, then later in stone and in the Scriptures, providing a precedent for the idea of all language being rooted in the celestial alphabet, penned by the finger of God. [Ex. 32:13-16].

Finally the Word (logos) was made flesh in Jesus Christ, and God’s Word incarnate dwelt with us. These manifold witnesses to God’s omnipotent glory and Grace, all incorporate the awesome beauty and mathematical Symmetry that unveil the accuracy of all His means of divine revelation, embodied in the spoken and written word, in the stars in stone and finally in the flesh. As the Red Thread and master key to the interpretation of God’s Word, Jesus is the lawgiver, after the form of Moses, the one decreeing righteous judgment as the embodiment of the Word made flesh.

Jer. 31:35-36
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.

In Jer. 31:35 the root of this word [chaqaq] is used of the light of the celestial ordinances of the Sun by day, and the Moon and stars by night, [Gen.1:16-18]. The ordinances of God’s covenant with the seed of Abraham were written with the finger of God in the rock of His holy mount,  and given to Moses the lawgiver, [Ex. 24:12, 31:18, 32:16]. This establishes the stone witness of the Sphinx, and verifies the relation between God’s celestial witness and His word written in Scripture [Ps. 19]. It is a known historical and archaeological fact that the Great Sphinx was carved out of a rock formation on the Giza plateau, which is consistent with the testimony of God’s Word in Job 19:23, where the word “rock” [*H6697] means “cliff, sharp rock compressed,
or boulder.” We can see the intimate link between God’s stellar witness of His ordinances fulfilled in His covenant with the seed of Israel in verse 36 above. This promised seed was consummated in the Lord Jesus ChristJeremiah‘s point is that the celestial witness of God’s Covenant with Day and Night [Jer. 33:20-26], has not ceased and no one is able to halt these celestial cycles and seasons set in motion by the Creator, thus the surety of the return of His Promised Seed for his people is set in the firmament, in stone and embodied in the Man Christ Jesus!

The prominent stellar aspects of the Great Sphinx, are witnessed in the first of the three unions of Jupiter and Regulus, on 9-14-3 BC. This exhibits not only the link between the ordinances of the sun and stars in Jer. 31:35, 33:25, specifically in Genesis 49:8-10, in united testimony with the stellar wonders spoken of in Revelation 12, but also the monolithic witness of the Great Sphinx to the Lawgiver of the Ages.

Thus, the Great Sphinx stands as Giza’s defiant sentinel, having weathered hundreds of centuries as a witness and messenger of both the canon of the celestial scroll of God’s Word engraved in the heavens and a prophecy of the birth of the Son of God. Always facing east, the Great Sphinx anticipates the truth of the Son-rise of the ages, whose light is the long-awaited dawning of a new day for all Mankind. This is a theme that arises again in relation to The Celestial Symbolism of the Tabernacle and Temple of Israel. When viewed in context with the witness of the Great Sphinx, this sign on 9-14-3 BC takes on added meaning, indicated in the Sphinx’ two basic elements. These two elements are detailed in the movement of the King planet Jupiter entering Leo, the lion-body of the Great Sphinx, while the Sun was in Virgo, the female head of the Sphinx. As the stars are allowed to speak in harmony with this witness in stone, the solitary guardian of the Giza plateau anticipates the dawning of a new day for mankind, predicting the birth of Spica, Virgo’s promised seed. Thus, the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid stand, as oracles, monumental prophets of both the Alpha and Omega, the first and second advents of Jesus Christ, revealing both his sufferings and glory. These stellar aspects of the Sphinx, are reinforced by the picture of the eastern horizon during the early morning hours of September 14th, at the time of the first Jupiter-Regulus union. This distinct star picture of the Head of the woman Virgo rising above the horizon, with the body of the lion above, beginning the first of three Jupiter-Regulus unions, is definitive evidence for our thesis. It is key to realize that the signs of the Lord’s birth occured in Virgo, the alpha sign of the Biblical zodiac, but the signs of his return will occur in the omega sign-Leo, both including signs of the Celestial Sphinx. This is a clear example of the importance of the Great Sphinx as a monumental marker of the advent of God’s only begotten Son.

The Scepter in the context of the Lion of Judah refers to the King’s Scepter as the rod and staff or symbol of the King’s authority and power, as seen in the Psalms.

Psalm 45:2-7

My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a [c]ready writer. You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever.[d]Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, With Your glory and Your majestyAnd in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humilityand righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies; The peoples fall under You.

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdomYou love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

Isaiah 11 provides a great sense of how the Messiah employs and embodies the King’s Scepter; These verses represent a summary of the OT manifestations paired according to this biblical structure of the spirit [H7307 ruach] of Jehovah- God in relationship to His creation. The repetition of “Spiritat the start of these 7 OT categories is a figure of speech- anaphora, while the ”ands” pairing these manifestations are also the figure “polysyndeton,” emphasizing each category of these spiritual manifestations.

Isa. 11:1-5

There shall come forth a [a]Rod from the [b]stem of JesseAnd a Branch shall [c]grow out of his rootsThe Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon HimThe Spirit of wisdom and understandingThe Spirit of counsel and mightThe Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

His delight is in the fear of the LordAnd He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
Nor decide by the hearing of His earsBut with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loinsAnd faithfulness the belt of His waist.

The 3rd Genesis title of Genesis 49:10 is Shiloh [H7886] also known as the peacemaker. We find these traits exemplified in the High Priest of the Tabernacle and Temple in the OT, especially where once a year on the Day of Atonement, this Priest went into the holiest of all and sacrificed for Israel to cover their sins. Christ fulfilled this with his once and final sacrifice for all mankind, on the cross, [Heb. 2:17]. In the NT with God in Christ in us [Col. 1:27] we dwell in God with God in us through Christ, in true unity, which was not known in Shiloh in the OT, an early resting place for the Ark of the Covenant, symbolic of God’s presence, but is replaced by God’s throne and His actual presence in the greatness of the Mystery in Christ seated at the Father’s right hand with his church. Another key occurrence of the peacemaker is found in Isaiah.

Isa. 9:6-7
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting FatherPrince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.

Jesus in the Road to Emmaus teaching, [Lk. 24:13] reveals himself in all the books of the OT unveiling one of the greatest teachings ever-The Master Key to unfolding God’s Word. The master-titles of Christ in Isa. 9:6, reveal multiple sets of 4 titles, as seen in the Hebrew word “zemach”-branch. This word is used 12 times in the OT, but these four usages delineate the 4D Ministry of the Messiah, Jehovah’s Branch, each set forth in the 4 gospels as seen in the bottom row of the chart above.

The numbers in parenthesis (4->) indicate the Spiritual Administrations in which these Titles are active. [Material above on Isa. 9:6 is from The One God Seminar, J. Nessle]

Some of these titles are found in the Seven periods of Christ’s earthly ministry marked by Audible Words from heaven.

1. Temptation-His Righteousness was proved. [40 days]
2. Evangelist– As the Lamb of God, Chooses his Apostles
3. Pentecost-He officially opens his ministry reading Isa. 61/Luke 4 as an Apostle.
4. High Priest-Mount of Transfiguration; Tishri-30
5. Passover Lamb-Voice from Heaven-only one week before he was crucified.
6. Resurrection-New Body-[40 days] ending his ministry in his physical body.
7. Ascension-[10 days]-Sit thou on my Right Hand…[I go to My Father]

Another key occurrence of “Scepter” in Numbers is found in the context of an added title of Christ as the “Star; [H3556].”

 Num. 24:16-17

16 The utterance of him who hears the words of GodAnd has the knowledge of the Most High, Who sees the vision of the AlmightyWho falls down, with eyes wide open17 I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; A Star shall come out of Jacob; A Scepter
shall rise out of Israel, And [b]batter the brow of Moab, And destroy all the sons of [c]tumult.

The “Star out of Jacob” is another Genesis title of Christ that refers not only to the Celestial Gospel references of the Lawgiver in the Great Sphinx, but also the Biblical Astronomy of the birth of Christ, in the King planet Jupiter.

Stellar Elements of the Great Sphinx

The original teaching of the celestial witness of the signs of the zodiac is encapsulated in the signs Virgo and Leo and preserved in this ancient monument of the Giza plateau, the Great Sphinx. An interesting astronomical truth in support of this lies the fact that the crowned head of Virgo actually bridges about 10 degrees into the sign Leo on the ecliptic. We have already made reference to this in connection with the star Denebola. The star Sarcam in Leo, is a Hebrew word meaning “the joining“, revealing this as the point where the two ends of the Zodiacal circle have their joining. This is borne out in the sign Corvus, the bird of prey devouring Cetus the sea-monster, a decan of Virgo. The bright star in the eye of Corvus the Raven, called Al Chibar in Arabic means “joining together,” referring also to the union of as these two ends of the true zodiac! This also fits with the start of the Hebrew calendar in Tishri, the equivalent of our September-October, the beginning of their civil year when the Sun was clothing Virgo.

The heavens announced Jesus’ arrival with the setting of the star Spica, between the Moon and the setting Sun Clothing Virgo-as Virgo’s branch on September 11th, of 3 BC. This is firmly secured by the fifth axis evident in the Dendera zodiac, in the Egyptian temple of Esneh, subdividing the zodiac in the same way depicted on the ceiling of the Portico of that temple site; between Leo the Lion, and Virgo the woman. This idea is fully developed in The Denderah Zodiac poster, featured in the right margin of this blog. In addition to naming the start and close of the celestial canon, the Great Sphinx mirrors the binding of Scripture together in Genesis
to Revelation, as seen in the Red Thread references to Jesus as the Lion of the tribe of Judah in both Gen. 49:8-10 and Rev. 5:5, the first and last books of the Bible. Another indicator of the central importance of these stellar aspects of the Great Sphinx, is that our recognition of the Celestial Sphinx, pictured below, Virgo and Leo the lion provide the basis for the signs of the triple union of Jupiter-Regulus in Leo, in 3 BC related to Gen. 49:8-10

As we view the celestial context of this first union of Jupiter and Regulus, [Fig. B] we can see the head of Virgo rising above the eastern horizon just below the full body of Leo the Lion on the ecliptic. This is the view of what an observer standing near Palestine facing east would have seen on this date, providing a clear aspect of the astronomical symbolism of the Sphinx as a key marker and monumental prediction of Jesus’ birthday on September 11th. This serves as a monolithic marker to the prophecy provided in Rev. 12:1-5, in the sign of Virgo, further sets this truth.

Also in Genesis 49:22-26, we find the blessings of Jacob on the tribes of Joseph, with references to 2 more Genesis titles of Christ:

Genesis 49:22-26

Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a springwhose branches climb over a wall.[k23 With bitterness archers attacked him; they shot at him with hostility. 24 But his bow remained steady, his strong arms stayed[l] limber, because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacobbecause of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel25 Because of your father’s God, who helps you, because of the Almighty,[m] who blesses you with blessings of the skies above, blessings of the deep springs below, blessings of the breast and womb. 26 Your father’s blessings are greater than the blessings of the ancient mountainsthan[n] the bounty of the age-old hills. Let all these rest on the head of Josephon the brow of the prince among[o] his brothers.

Here we see the titles of the Stone [H68] or Rock of Israel, and The Shepherd [H7462].
Key aspects of the Shepherd are found in the 23rd Psalm in the Seven Jehovah Names in Christ and Moses. As Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord is the Provider for Israel in Moses as Manna from Heaven, and in Christ as the bread of life. As Jehovah-Rapha He heals in Moses in the Passover, and in Christ as the light of the world. As Jehovah-Nissi, the protection of God was seen in the Rod of Moses, with Christ as the door of the Sheep.
As Jehovah-Shalom the Lord was Peace for Israel in the Cloud Pillar, while in Christ he is the true way that leads to life. As Jehovah-Tsidkenu, the Lord is righteousness in the Mosaic Law, until Christ who fulfilled the Law. As Jehovah-Shammah, the Lord was Present in Moses’ Tabernacle, and in Christ, he is the true Vine. In Summary, as Jehovah-Raah, Moses was the Shepherd of Israel, while Christ is the Good Shepherd, who embodies all these traits.

The Stone [H680-Eben] or rock refers to a foundation stone, or chief cornerstone placed at the apex of the Great Pyramid completing its architecture, and unifying the corner-stones at its base. [Job 38:6, Ps. 118:22, Matt.21:42, Acts 4:11, Eph.2:20, 1 Pet.2:6-7]
E-ben also represents the Father building His house through His offspring or Son, and how God dwells among His people changes in each of the 7 spiritual Administrations, building towards the Mystery of the Church of the One body in Christ.

Isa. 28:16-17
16 Therefore thus says the Lord GodBehold, I lay in Zion [H68] a stone for a foundation,
A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily. 17 Also I will make justice the measuring line, And righteousness the plummet;
The hail will sweep away the refuge of liesAnd the waters will overflow the hiding place.

It is in the Architecture of the Great Pyramid where we find a special revelation of Christ as the chief cornerstone that fulfills and unifies its structure. Even as these Genesis titles of Christ are also revealed in the Book of Revelation, Jon Nessle has taught, how the 7 Ascendant traits of Christ from [Rev. 5:5-12] correspond to these 7 Genesis titles. Verse 5 shows Jesus as the LionLeo of the tribe of Judah as seen in the head and body of the Sphinx, depicting these Genesis titles of Christ as they are revealed in the book of Revelation.

Rev. 5:5-12

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven sealsThen I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open [a]and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and [b]to loose its seven seals.”

And I looked, [c]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

Jesus Christ as the Lamb is described with 7 horns, 7 eyes, 7 spirits, of God. The Shiloh titles relate to our Prayers in Christ’s Name of the specific title as the “Lord of Daily Need;Daily Bread category of 7 aspects of the Lord’s PrayerHe alone is worthy [axios] to manifest [lambano] in practical application all 7 of these dimensions of spiritual power, the 7 Ascendant traits of Christ [13] listed here in Rev. 5.

1. Power; [G#1411-dunamis-unity] Natural, Inherent power both potential and active, signifying all modes of active power. [Matt. 28:18] Jesus has all power delegated to him by the Father in Heaven and Earth. [Eph. 1:21-23]. [seed]

2. Riches;[G4149-ploutos-est.] Wealth in abundance, the fullness of all things Christ has in store for the body of Christ. [Eph. 3:8, Phil. 4:19] The unsearchable riches of Christ! The Believers access these riches on 2 occasions; a. New Birth [Rom. 10:12] b. Rapture [Rev. 3:18, Rom. 15:13, I Cor. 1:4, enriched in utterance and knowledge,
[2 Cor. 8:7-8]-Faith, word, hope, diligence, love, grace.
[stone]

3. Wisdom;[G#4678-Sophia-Spiritual Completion] expert, skill, godly wisdom, full intelligence and mental excellence in the highest and fullest degree. 4. Strength;[G#2479-ischus-World] health, prevailing strength and evidenced by overcoming deeds Lk. 3:16- JC mightier than John the Baptist. Phil. 4:13-We are infused with God’s power. [I Cor. 15:24] all rule, power and authority. [scepter]

5. Honor;[G#5092-precious valuables, [time-Grace] of great value, preeminent honor, a name above all names. [Js. 5:23]-we honor the Father via the Son. 6. Glory;[G#1391-doxa-Man] manifested power, dignity, praise, worship [Man] [John 13:31-2, 17:1-5] Figure antanaclasis “word clashing;” differing word definitions used together. With=para-beside in the dative case=”glorify me beside Yourself.” What orthodox Trinitarians say was Preexistent Jesus with God, was actually God’s foreknowledge of Jesus at His Right Hand when Lucifer occupied this space in the 1st Heaven & Earth [Shiloh]

7. Blessing;[G#2129-eulogiaSpiritual perfection] Good Word or action from God. Jesus did many Praiseworthy acts but we are worshipping him as God for none of them. Praise=laud, as his victorious entry into Jerusalem on “Palm Sunday,” they proclaimedHosanna in the highest.” All Evangelism is praising Jesus for his accomplishments and godly work. Jesus as the Evangelist is one of his sevenfold ministries he fulfilled during the Acceptable Year of the Lord, [Lk. 4:16-19, Gen. 49:25-26 ]. [Star]

Through the reality of the redemptive works of Jesus Christ as the Good Shepherd, man’s redemption is complete. Access to the way of the tree of life has been fully restored with many more benefits added in Christ, the true way that leads to life. Man again has full access to his loving Heavenly Father fulfilling God’s purposes. As we continue to look forward to the fullness of our redemption in the Hope of Christ’s return, we rejoice in our immediate and ultimate victory in Eternal Glory!

God Bless!
