The Lunar Mansions Part 3, Dendera Lunar Decans

In Part 3 of our series on Lunar Mansions we will focus on the Lunar Decans of the Dendera Zodiac. In the first two parts of this series, we reviewed how the Lunar Mansions were preserved in ancient China, India, Isreal and Arabia. In Part 3 our focus is on ancient Egypt. The Dendera Zodiac is the best-known example of Egyptian zodiacal monuments, whose temple dates from the 1st century BC. The zodiac however, is believed to date far older than the temple housing it, going back at least to 2100 BC. Now housed in the Louvre, in Paris, the Dendera Zodiac displays a rounded ceiling vault with the 12 major signs, as well as the Egyptian northern and southern constellations, the planets, the sun and moon, and the 36 lunar decans, arranged around the periphery of the circular zodiac.

An early scientific study of Egyptian archaeological sites was conducted as part of Napoleon’s campaign into N. Africa. Bonaparte included French Archaeologists and language specialists to research key sites including the Giza Plateau. Many French scholars of the day believed the Dendera Zodiac to be thousands of years older than the Ussher’s date of creation. This was not the ideal or most politically expedient date for the “Holy Roman Empire,” but with the entrance of Champollion, as the foremost French Egyptologist in Napoleon’s reign, he provided a later incept date for the Dendera zodiac. As the first to decode the hieroglyphics on the famed Rosetta Stone, based on his study of Temple cartouches near the Temple’s ceiling location of the Dendera zodiac, he dated the royal names and by association, the Dendera Zodiac itself to a period between 50-200 BC. 1

As a result, this late dating of the Dendera Zodiac has persisted in orthodox Egyptian archaeology to this day. But English scholars like Herman Lockyer provided evidence that the Dendera Temple housing the zodiac was probably “rebuilt at least three times since 3733 BC; once in the reign of King Pepi I, [which Lockyer dates at 3233 BC] once again by Thothmes III in 1600 BC, and finally by the Ptolemies about 100 BC. According to Lockyer the temple may have been aligned previously at the star Dubhe, which ceased to be circumpolar about 4000 BC, and before that at gamma Draconis, which ceased to be circumpolar about 5000 BC.”^[2]

Lockyer also held that these historical rebuilds of astronomical Temples, based on changing star alignments, shows an awareness of the Precession of the Equinoxes in ancient Egypt, that far predated Hipparchus‘ supposed c.140 BC “discovery” of the precession of the Equinoxes. Another of these French Archaeologists; “Dupuis calculated the incept date of the Dendera Planisphere around 4000 BC.” 3 There is an obvious host of modern scholarship in agreement with Lockyer, opposing the orthodoxy of modern evolutionary archaeology, including “Hamlet’s Mill” authors George Santillianna and Von Dechend, who documented a number of tribal cultures like the Inuit, Persians, Norsemen, Native Americans, Hawaiians, Japanese, Chinese, along with the ancient Egyptians, who all recognized the sacred signs
and iconography of the precession of the equinoxes.

Champollion’s later date above, agrees with Lockyer’s date of the latest rebuild of the Dendera Temple by the Ptolemies around 100 BC, while ignoring the earlier temple rebuilds, going back to the Old Kingdom. As the oldest circular zodiac, Dendera holds a key place, not only in Biblical Archaeology, and Archaeo-Astronomy, but also with its system of Decans, from ancient Egypt, providing rare evidence supported in the most ancient texts, like the Pyramid Texts, predates any existing record for a Gospel in the Stars. In a recent critique of the writings of Frances Rolleston and the idea of the “Gospel in the Stars,” that she popularized in the later 1800’s, [Faulkner-2013] states;

“Not only are there no texts preserving the original knowledge of the gospel in the stars, but we know of no sources before Rolleston that claimed that there ever were such texts, or that any ever lived who believed such things. The first source we know of to make this claim is Frances Rolleston’s book. Let me be clear—it is obvious from Rolleston’s book that she had no texts that clearly taught her thesis. Instead, she created the meanings to support her thesis without reliance upon any older texts. The evidence we have that is most consistent with the gospel in the stars thesis not being an ancient idea at all, but entirely the invention of Frances Rolleston less than 200 years ago.”4

Faulkner continues;
“Although many ancient cultures referred to decans, they are defined differently than how Rolleston used the term. These cultures divided each astronomical sign into three decans. Since there are twelve signs circling the sky, each sign stretches over about 30° of the ecliptic. Thus, each decan spans roughly 10° along the ecliptic. Since it takes approximately 360 days for the sun to complete a circuit with respect to the stars, the sun occupies each decan for roughly ten days.“5

Faulkner’s description of how these “ancient cultures” calculated decans in their calendars, is an exact match for how the Egyptians calculated them related to the Dendera Zodiac.
Although our admiration and respect for Rolleston is great, due to her reliance on Scripture, our approach to Biblical Astronomy holds Biblical Scripture as the ultimate source of truth and the veracity of the Celestial Gospel. The evidence for the Gospel in the Stars we cite, comes primarily from the Scriptures of the Bible first and foremost, then is supported by historical research and secular sources in Biblical Astronomy. Few are aware of the evidence linking the Dendera Zodiac with prophecies of the birth of Christ, that I have advocated and posted [@try-god.com] for over 15 years, and continue to expand, including this blog in the Spring of 2020. Below is a Scriptural example of the three decans linked to Leo the Lion, highlighted in yellow. 6

Obviously, Faulkner is not familiar with the abundant Scriptural references to the Gospel in the stars, and the internal integrity of God’s Word at the basis of this subject, that provides all the ancient textual evidence required, far out dating Rolleston on this subject. Added awareness of how the ancient Egyptian monument, the Great Sphinx embodies the Alpha-Omega signs of the Hebrew Mazzaroth, with prophecies of the Birth of Christ, that adds historical support to the Dendera Zodiac. When taken with the other monuments of the Giza Plateau, the witness from ancient Egypt for the Gospel in the Stars becomes a deafening crescendo of truth, impossible to ignore for any honest seeker of evidence for an astronomical gospel. A key element of the Dendera zodiac is the recognition of the ancient Egyptian star names associated with it, and their meaning, compared to the Hebrew meanings of the same stars. This gives us a view of the similar approaches to practical Astronomy between the two cultures and the potential common source of these star names, from Biblical Patriarchs like Seth and Enoch, and how they convey the gospel message, prior to their corruption in the idolatry of the Egyptian star religion.

This evidence from the Dendera Zodiac, with its system of Decans predates the usage of decans in any of the oldest Greek or Latin texts by thousands of years, providing an ancient source far in advance of Rolleston’s writings, or even Ptolemy, as a basis for the Gospel in the Stars. We will explore the details of this in later blogs in 2020, as this blog serves to introduce the reader to some of the research in this field underlying Biblical Astronomy. This method of decan calculation was standard practice in ancient Egypt. With this ancient Egyptian historical background, we don’t have to rely on Faulkner’s opinion of how this ancient system of decans came together, since we have scholarly accounts from the oldest texts in history like the Pyramid Texts and the Book of Job, that make specific references to the decan system in ancient Egypt, based on the “Helical rising” of stars and asterisms used for time-keeping, from at least the end of the Old Kingdom in Egypt, [circa 2200 BC], if not earlier. 7

The Pyramid Texts, writings and tomb wall decorations, dating back to the Old Kingdom (2780–2250 BC) provide a bulk of decan references and ancient Egyptian creation myths. The progression of decan stars in Heliacal rising also explains how the series of 3 decans aligns with each of the 12 major constellations of the zodiac, giving a basis of the order of decans in the zodiac of Dendera, as stated by Rolleston and other Gospel in the stars advocates, witnessed with Leo’s three decans above.

The color-coded image of the Dendera Zodiac below, shows specifically how the decans on the outer rim of this zodiac match up to the 12 main constellations in red, blue, orange, and Yellow. Another element of dominion seen in the four faces of the Cherubim, [Ezek. 1:5-6], shows what the Babylonians called the 4 royal signs, we find Aquarius–Man who is created after God’s image, with Leo the Lion the king of non-domesticated animals. With the Taurus the Bull as the king of domesticated animals, seen at the bottom cardinal point with the sign of the Bull in Fig. 3. and the Eagle-Aquila, king of the fowl of the air, [Gen.1 26-28], we find a composite image of these four signs of the zodiac in the Cherubim. These four Cardinal Directions, of the Hebrew Mazzaroth provide a template for the 12 major signs both in Egypt and Israel. [Num. 24:7-9]

Sun, Stand Thou Still Upon Gibeon; And Thou, Moon, In The Valley ...

Schwaller De Lubicz is another scholar who argued in favor of the ancient Egyptian knowledge of precession. He points out 2 hieroglyphs on the outer rim of Dendera’s zodiac that mark a line between Aries the Ram and Taurus the Bull, correlating to a date around 2200 BC, in Fig. 3 indicating how the Egyptians wanted to mark the transition in ages of precessional ages, in this case from the age of Taurus to that of Aries. As De Lubicz states;

“The mere fact that the cult of the Bull [Apis/Mentu] preceded the cult of the Ram [Amon]
in Egypt, and that the dates of these cults correspond to the equinoctial positions of their constellations at the appropriate time-approximately 4000 and 2000 BC-is conclusive.“10

According to Schwaller DeLubicz, this was conclusive evidence that the ancient Egyptians were not only aware of, but applied their knowledge of the precession of the equinoxes. This evidence also speaks volumes concerning the age of the Dendera Zodiac, documenting this transition of the precessional ages of Taurus to Aries, following other elements of the calendar system inherent in the Dendera Zodiac before 3000 BC.

As we can see in Figure 3 above, the receding pole star is mapped on the smaller inner center circle, along with a series of four points related to the four axes on the larger outer circle of the zodiac. This shows us the pole star in the specific precessional ages going back to the Age of Gemini, marked on the larger zodiacal circle by the symbol “II“, prior to 4380 BC, portrays the transition from the Age of Gemini to the Age of Taurus. This depicts Gemini’s position at the early stages of Egyptian reckoning of precessional ages in Dendera’s zodiac, even though the latest version of the Temple of Dendera housing
this zodiac, was rebuilt in the late Hellenistic period.

Most of the prevailing sentiment in orthodox archaeology holds an evolutionary view where the sophistication of astronomical understanding of concepts like precession was beyond the ken of “primitive” cultures, despite abundant evidence to the contrary. The orthodoxy finds itself at a loss to explain how ancient history does not conform to their evolutionary view of increased astronomical sophistication with the passage of time, instead, they are faced with a reality where the older and superior application of this knowledge was corrupted by the mythology and idolatry of later cultures in the ancient world. As E.W. Bullinger stated:

“All the ancient systems of idolatry connected with Astrology and mythology were in the same way, not original inventions of what was new but the corruption of what was old,
and the perversion of original truth.”¹²

What are some of the commonalities among the various myths across ...

This reflects a history of Dendera’s temple and associated Zodiac extending back into Pre-dynastic ages coincident to the Precessional Age of Taurus. We take added note of their recognition of the Precession of the Equinoxes in ancient Egypt, and how early Pharaohs took their titles. Starting with the Menuhopteps, and Menes/ Narmer, who ruled before the Amenhoteps in Pharaonic historical progression. Notably, the Old Kingdom Pharaohs adopted Mentu the Bull in their titles during latter parts of the Precessional Age of Taurus, before the precessional shift to the Age of Aries, around 2200 BC. This transition of ages of the precession of the equinoxes, occurred when the retrograde motion of the Sun caused the sunrise in successive signs of the zodiac every 2.160 years, opening a new precessional age.

What are some of the commonalities among the various myths across ...

Once the Age of the Ram Aries began, the Pharaohs began honoring the Ram-Amon in their kingly titles. During this period and following was also when Ram-headed Crio-sphinxes began showing up in Egyptian iconography, as a representation of their creator-god Khnum, who they believed, fashioned the universe out of clay. This also accounts for Khnum’s association with the fertility of soil and the annual inundation of the Nile, marked by the star Sirius. As Khnum’s influence grew in power in Egyptian pantheons, the symbolism of the previous precessional Age of Taurus decreased in value. Egyptologist Richard Parker deciphered early symbols carved on an ivory tablet from the First Dynasty as: “Sirius, the opener of the year, the innundation.” As Krupp observes: “This implies that the basic elements of the calendar system were in place by 3100 BC. The same celestial calibrations endure all the way into the Ptolemaic period, 3,000 years later.“^[13]

This 1st Dynasty Ivory plaque depicts the star Sirius as a hieroglyph of a reclining Cow with the Sun above her head, easily visible in similar form in the Dendera zodiac, marking not only the decan to open the New Year, but also denotes the precession of the equinoxes. Since Isis embodied this reclining cow pictured with a star between bovine horns, seen just above the “Decans” label in the lower-left corner of Fig. 6, below, providing strong evidence of the use of the Sirius cycle, or Sothic Calendar in ancient Egypt, as a testimony to their advanced astronomical practices and recognition of precession
early on.

The significance of the coordination of the lunar and solar cycles in the context of this New Year’s celebration is that the Heliacal Rising of Sirius also qued the Egyptians to add an Intercalary month, keeping the calendar’s lunar cycles in line with the solar seasons. This luni-solar coordination also applies in view of the unity of lunar decans with the solar zodiac of 12 Constellations, on the Dendera Zodiac, not in disjointed separation. The calendars with long-standing and wide-spread use in Egypt included those of both administrative and religious uses. They date from Egypt’s unification around 3000 BC. The civil calendar consisted of 365 days, with 12 months of 30 days, and each month named for religious holidays during that month. On this lunar plan, each month consisted of 3 weeks, of 10 days, in-synch with their 36-decan system.

As the only circular astronomical model to be found in Egyptian antiquity, Dendera’s Zodiac depicts the 360 days of the Egyptian year, with decans arranged on the outer edge of the circular zodiac. Twelve signs with 3 decans each, in the 360-day year, even with a 37th decan allowing for the 5 extra days of the year, totaling 365 days of the Sothic Calendar. Figure 7 shows images of the specific star groups and asterisms in heliacal rising every 10 days on the Dendera Zodiac.

Denderah Zodiac divided

As we have documented in parts 1 and 2 of this series on the Lunar Mansions, the Chinese, Arab and Indian zodiacs applied 28 Lunar Houses distinct from these 36 Decans. Some hold that the decans predate the use of the 12 signs in ancient Egypt to divide the ecliptic, but the Egyptian recognition of the ages of the precession of the equinoxes pointed out above, is contrary to that notion. It appears more likely that the decans were directly linked to each of the 12 tropical signs of the zodiac initially, in alignment with the theme of the Gospel in the stars. Thus the lesson of the decan supports that of the 12 constellations, even as we see with Leo’s destruction of the serpent- Hydra above. Bullinger tells us the Egyptian name for Leo was Pi Mentekeon, which means the pouring out, in reference to pouring out of divine wrath, as seen in the decan-Crater, the cup holding God’s wrath in the judgment of Christ’s victorious return, [Rev. 14:10, 16: 19]. The 3rd decan of the Raven Corvus also adds to this theme in one of the decan star names called Minchar al Gorab, meaning Corvus tearing to pieces the serpent’s remains;
[Prov. 30:17, 1 Sam. 17:46]. 15

This attests to the integrity of the stellar witness, with all its elements reflecting the same truths of Scripture, as seen in the 19th Psalm. These ancient lunar calendar decans marked the Lunar Mansions, but due to inconsistent records of Decan stars, there was an occasional lack of consensus in Egypt, so with the exception of Sirius, the rest of these 36 decans endured several transformations during the Hellenistic period. 16

A good source for a specific list of these decan stars from the Middle Kingdoms was from an office-holder under Queen Hatshepsut (c. 1450 BC) of Egypt named Sesenmut, was buried near the queen’s tomb. On the ceiling of his burial monument was found an excellent example, from the Age of Aries of these 36 decans listed below.

The Egyptians divided the decans of the night sky in different constellations in a way similar to modern astronomy. Senenmut’s Tomb is a great example of the decans in painted ceilings of different Egyptian tombs, that allow us to establish their number from tomb to tomb. In spite of periodic uncertainty, it seems there were at least 36 decans consistently depicted. Egyptians divided the year in 5 days plus 36, 10-day periods, corresponding to the 10 days of consecutive risings of decan stars recorded in Senenmut’s tomb, listed below:

This evidence reflects a long-standing history from Old Kingdoms and even Pre-dynastic ages of ancient Egypt of astronomical themes in support of the Gospel in the Stars. My encouragement to the reader is to review the links included here and the key background provided in presenting the case for the “Gospel in the Stars,” and Biblical Astronomy. Awareness of these related topics, present a more comprehensive view of Biblical Astronomy, depicting a grasp of sub-categories in this study, and how they support and inter-relate to the larger context.

The Human body was clearly created by our Heavenly Father, as not only the apex of physical earthly life, but also as a powerful illustration of the Jerusalem Temple and the Spiritual body of Christ, the Church. An example of this is found in John 2, where:

“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

When Jesus says “in three days I will raise it up” he was referring to being raised from the dead by God the Father [Gal. 1:1], along with many other references that God raised him from the dead; [Acts 3:15, 4:10, 5:30, 13:30, Rom. 10:9-10]. Here
Jesus used the word “Temple” figuratively by revelation to represent his physical body, which is readily seen in the immediate context of verse 21, where it plainly says that Jesus “spake of the temple of his body.” As the embodiment of the true temple, Jesus represented the body of the faithful in Israel, while speaking these words in the courts of the Stone Temple of Jerusalem. Since Jesus was speaking to the religious leaders of Israel, and with their subsequent rejection of Jesus as the Christ, this Stone temple was razed to the ground in 70 AD. Even though the Stone Temple of Jerusalem was only a transitory model of Christ, there is much we can learn from how the Temple modeled the man Jesus Christ. We should also be aware that in Jesus‘ statement here in the Temple, his remarks were not limited to reflecting the faithful bride of Israel, but in light of God’s foreknowledge this statement also has major applications for the Great Mystery and the Spiritual body of Christ, the consummate and perfect man, and Savior of all humanity, showing that this was beyond Jesus’ knowledge at the time he made this statement. This also carries specific implications for the unity of the Jews and Gentiles in the body of Christ [Eph. 2:11-22] that is summarized in Christ as the Cheif Corner-stone, and Capstone of the Great Pyramid. I Corinthians 12 is one of the most enlightening sections of Scripture, when it comes to understanding the Church and spiritual body of Christ. 1

¹²For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so ^[b]it is with Christ. ¹³For by one [Holy] Spirit we were all baptized into one body, [spiritually transformed—united together] whether Jews or Greeks (Gentiles), slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit [since the same Holy Spirit fills each life].

¹⁴For the [human] body does not consist of one part, but of many [limbs and organs]. ¹⁵If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” is it not on the contrary still a part of the body? ¹⁶If the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” is it not on the contrary still a part of the body? ¹⁷If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole [body] were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? ¹⁸But now [as things really are], God has placed and arranged the parts in the body, each one of them, just as He willed and saw fit [with the best balance of function]. ¹⁹If they all were a single organ, where would [the rest of] the body be? ²⁰But now [as things really are] there are many parts [different limbs and organs], but a single body. ²¹The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” ²²But quite the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are [absolutely] necessary; ²³and as for those parts of the body which we consider less honorable, these we treat with greater honor; and our less presentable parts are treated with greater modesty, ²⁴while our more presentable parts do not require it. But God has combined the [whole] body, giving greater honor to that part which lacks it, ²⁵so that there would be no division or discord in the body [that is, lack of adaptation of the parts to each other], but that the parts may have the same concern for one another. ²⁶And if one member suffers, all the parts share the suffering; if one member is honored, all rejoice with it.

²⁷Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body, and individually [you are] members of it [each with his own special purpose and function].

If God has truly placed each of the members of the body as it has pleased Him, we should be paying attention not only to how the members of the physical body work as a unit, but also how the nine manifestations are each essential, and incomplete without the other manifestations. As we are each individual members of the Spiritual body, being born again as new creations in Christ, each with unique importance in the body, God has tempered the body together forming more than what each believer was on their own, since the church body in Christ is much more than just the sum of its parts. As each member ministers in the body of Christ, the spiritual body of the church needs all the gift ministries operating in the body, same as the manifestations. But what about the specific members of the physical body that are cited in pairs above? Could there be added meaning here that may have been overlooked? When we consider how the Creator structured the human body based on the Phi Ratio, perhaps there is more to be learned that may not have been previously considered.

The human body is based on Phi and 5.

The human body illustrates the Golden Section or Divine Proportion. The colored lines below depict the various golden ratio building blocks upon which the human body was built as seen in both diagrams, of the Vitruvian Man below, and human male below:

The Divine Proportion in the Body

The white line is the body’s height.
The blue line, a golden section of the white line, defines the distance from the head to the finger tips.
The yellow line, a golden section of the blue line, defines the distance from the head to the navel and the elbows, also marked in the Vitruvian Man.
The green line, a golden section of the yellow line, defines the distance from the head to the pectorals and inside top of the arms, the width of the shoulders, the length of the forearm and the shin bone.
The magenta line, a golden section of the green line, defines the distance from the head to the base of the skull and the width of the abdomen. The sectioned portions of the magenta line determine the position of the nose and the hairline.

Although not shown, the golden section of the magenta line (also the short section of the green line) defines the width of the head and half the width of the chest and the hips. Below are some added phi relationships seen in the human body;

*The length of the human face is equal to the length of the human hand.
*The circumference of the calf muscle is equal to the circumference of the neck.
*The distance from the centre of the sternum to the elbow is exactly half the distance as from the center of the sternum to the FINGERTIPS, also marked in the Vitruvian Man.
*The length of the nose is exactly 1/3 the length of the face. The distance from the tip of the nose to the chin is equal to the length of the nose. The distance from the top of the nose to the hairline is equal to the length of the nose, following the golden ratio.

The Human Body is based on patterns of 5, which is also the basis for Phi.

Marcus Vitruvius Pollio, Roman architect (c. 25 B.C.), who formulated the Vitruvian Man seen below, remarked on the similarity between the human body and a perfect building: “Nature has designed the human body so that its members are duly proportioned to the frame as a whole.” He inscribed the human body into a circle and a square, the two figures considered images of perfection. As this image is seen to embody the principles of the ideal man as expressed in sacred architecture for example in the Jerusalem Temple, we can observe how the circle, square and Pyramid within the axes of the square depict the Christ as the perfect human representation [Plate 2. Vitruvian Man] of key Attributes of Almighty God. As we can see from the evidence presented here, the proportions in the structure of the human body follow the Golden Ratio. Below we have two versions of Vitruvian Man, the first in Plate 1, depicting the 17 various examples of Phi ratios in the human body numbered in the graphic. The Temple of the spiritual body of Christ is truly the perfect building because it is God’s building, (Oikodome) [I Cor. 3:9-11] whose foundation is Christ.

This display shows the Intelligent Design of the human body by the Hand of the Almighty Creator in His Omniscient Wisdom. All these aspects of the Phi Ratio in the design of the human body work together to make the sum greater than its parts, so that we can see why God made the human body the pinnacle of Creation. God made the human body to house human life, in body, soul and spirit, first in Adam and Eve, and ultimately the only begotten Son of God-Jesus Christ. This brings us to the design of the genetic code of human Life, DNA, which is the Creator’s signature as the Life-Giver [John 5:6, 17:3] as seen in the Four Kingdoms of Life on Earth.

DNA [the following research is found on Wikipedia and is suggested for further study]

Each cycle of the DNA molecule measures 34 angstoms long by 21 angstroms wide. 34 and 21 are Fibonacci numbers. The ratio of 34/21 is a more accurate approximation of phi, since it is further into the Fibonacci series than the previous examples of 3 and 5. Jean-claude Perez suggested there was a strong link between DNA and golden ratio in 1991,^[1] then later in 1997 in his book l’ADN décrypté^[2]. His work shows that relative proportions of nucleotides within coding DNA sequences like genes or RNA strings are governed by specific Fibonacci and Lucas number sets. This discovery was validated particularly on all known HIV and SIV (Simian Immunodeficiency Virus) retroviruses whole genomes with Professor Luc Montagnier (the discoverer of HIV virus) which called the discovery a “DNA supracode” ^[3]. 2

Other interesting relationships of golden section in the design of the human body include:

5 appendages to the torso, in the arms, leg and head.
5 appendages on each of these, in the fingers and toes.
5 openings on the face.
5 sense organs for sight, sound, touch, taste and smell.

The golden section in turn, is also based on 5, as the number phi, or 1.6180339…, is computed based on 5, as follows:

5 ^ .5 * .5 + .5 = Phi

In this mathematical construction “5 ^ .5” means “5 raised to the 1/2 power,” which is the square root of 5, which is then multiplied by .5 and to which .5 is then added.

Each section of your index finger, from the tip to the base of the wrist, is larger than the preceding one by about the Fibonacci ratio of 1.618, also fitting the Fibonacci numbers 2, 3, 5 and 8.

By this scale, your fingernail is 1 unit in length.

Curiously enough, you also have 2 hands, each with 5 digits, and your 8 fingers are each comprised of 3 sections. All Fibonacci numbers!

Here are some other ways of expressing the same basic relationship in its connection to the golden ratio and the related squares and rectangles of the golden spiral: 3

The ratio of the forearm to hand is Phi

Your hand is formed on a golden section relation to your arm, as the ratio of your forearm to your hand is also 1.618, the Divine Proportion, and represents the tactile sense; of touch. Spiritually, our hands and feet embody the human actions in which we partake, reflected in the golden section relations of the body parts or members of which the human body consists.

The foot has several proportions based on phi lines, including:

The middle of the arch of the foot
The widest part of the foot
The base of the toe line and big toe
The top of the toe line and base of the “index” toe

Additionally, it can be concluded that the width of the foot is in direct proportion to the width of the human torso.
In the male human body;
*The distance from the human coxyn to the top of the shoulders. is 3 times the length of the foot ( as from the heal
to the top of the ball of the foot )
*The width of the person’s shoulders. 4.7 times the with of the ball of the foot.
*The width of a persons hips is 4.7 times the width of the heal.

Not every individual has body dimensions in exact phi ratios, but averages across populations tend towards phi and phi proportions are perceived as being the most natural or beautiful. 4

Since the eye and the ear are mentioned in comparison in [I Cor. 12:16-17] let’s see what else God’s Word says about the eye.

19}“Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. ²⁰But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; ²¹for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also. ²²“The eye is the lamp of the body; so if your eye is clear [spiritually perceptive], your whole body will be full of light [benefiting from God’s precepts]. ²³But if your eye is bad [spiritually blind], your whole body will be full of darkness [devoid of God’s precepts]. So if the [very] light inside you [your inner self, your heart, your conscience] is darkness, how great and dense is that darkness! [Darkness 3x]

In the graphic below we find not only the Golden Ratio pattern underlying the symmetry of the elements of the human face, a
noticeable feature here is how the human eye is the incept point of this pattern, and as we will see presently, how the spiral begins within in the eye and covers all the senses evident in the 7 cavities in the head.

Phi in the Eye is seen in the ratio between the Cornea and the white portion [sclera] of the eye.

The eye allows us to see the light of God which impacts our entire body both physically and spiritually. The Graphic below depicts also how the human eye embodies the geometry of the Vesica Piscis, seen previously in the structure of the Northern Astronomical Pole, which reflects the pattern of all Creation as spoken into existence by the Almighty God; [Gen. 1:3]. The Creator’s image of what He wanted to speak into existence, was certainly clear and detailed from the macro to the micro or even quantum level of reality, which is why Creation is so beautiful and stunning from the biggest, to the smallest detail… The human eye was designed to visually observe the light of God, and the ear to hear, listen and live by the associated Words of God. Since the unity of the Sonic Scale is a lower manifestation of the electro-magnetic scale, we can witness the scientific realities in Creation supporting this foundational truth.

Matt. 6:19-23, Lk. 11:34

Bishop K.C. Pillai provided an alternative version of these verses, which follows;

“Let not your thoughts be centered in material things where fears and worries breed defeat and frustration, and where doubts break through and steal your thoughts; But let your thoughts be centered in the Spirit, where neither fear nor worry breeds defeat and frustration, and where doubts do not break through and steal your thoughts. For where your thoughts are, there will be your heart also.” 5

The “Treasures” Christ was referring to in Matt. 6 were not physical money, instead he was talking about our spiritual thought life. The moth and rust refer to fear and worry which corrode and destroy our positive spiritual thoughts of edification. As Romans, tells us the carnal mind, whose thought life is centered on a materialistic reality, will always suffer the plagues of defeat and despair because the temporal and material world is illusory. But with a God-centered thought life, we are depending on the immutable realities of God, He is ever-present with His unchanging promises that carry us through any situation that arises on the path of life. In this way, we can truly live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. As we stay our minds on God, He rewards us with His perfect Peace and Joy!

Rom. 10:17, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. [Gal. 3:2-5]

In the image of the man’s head below, notice how the Fibonacci spiral that rules the dimensions of the squares and rectangles that are spawned by this perfect spiral, encapsulate the exact human sensual organs in the same order they are mentioned in I Cor. 12. The center of the spiral and the first square and rectangle starts within the dimensions of the eye, enlightening the entire body. In the first turn of the phi spiral, the eye is enclosed in the second square and rectangle. This frames the ear as the spiral makes a 2nd turn, generating the third rectangle. By the time it makes its 3rd turn it encloses the ear, just under the eye–brow, and top of the Nose. As this spiral continues it forms the fourth rectangle which encloses the other half of the head with the nose and second ear and, as the next rectangle is formed, the lower portion of the face below the nose is enclosed, including the mouth-the organ of taste and speech. The symmetry of how the phi ratio forms the sensual components of the head and face is inescapably beautiful! Obviously, this structure works very well with all the members human physical body, but it does not stop there. As these human senses of the physical body are enclosed within the progressive Fibonacci spirals, we can see how the revelation manifestations are referenced as the eyes and ears of the church embodied in the word of knowledge and word of wisdom, and the nose also fits in this category with discerning of spirits, where we can detect and rebuke those foul spirits as Jesus did, [Mark 9:25-29]. With the mouth as the organ of taste and speech, we can see how this applies to each believer as a member of the spiritual body, having the ministry of reconciliation should do the work of an evangelist, speaking the truth in love, [Eph. 4:15]. We also find with the gift ministries [Eph. 4:11] which all function as teachers and messengers of God’s Word, all should endeavor to speak God’s Word with eloquence and bold believing.

The Nine Manifestations of the spirit from [I Cor. 12:7-11] have been categorized into 3 groups of three, the Worship Manifestations [Speaking in Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues and Prophecy], all emanating from the Mouth. Secondly, the Revelation Manifestations [Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom and Discerning of Spirits] called the spiritual eyes and ears of the Church. Thirdly, the Impartation Manifestations [The Manifestation of Believing, Miracles, and Gifts of Healing] as the members are truly God’s hands and feet, as the holy spirit motivates our actions in the human/spiritual body of Christ.

As each member of the body of Christ individually believes to manifest each category of these spiritual manifestations, the special purpose and function of the believer becomes apparent, as they involve themselves in the spiritual ministry of the Church. As a result, the collective body of Christ will function more perfectly as God designed and assembled it in Christ, locally, by region, and globally. Here the individual believer is fully equipped physically and spiritually and is completely outfitted for success, by the Heavenly Father in Christ, to accomplish what God has called us to do. As each member shares fully in the new birth, we are made a New Creation in Christ, to share in the full abundance of the Spiritual Church, of the Body of Christ.

One of the prayers in the Book of Ephesians elaborates on the revelation manifestations as the eyes and ears of the Church, and some of the benefits God provides to the enlightened.

Eph. 1:17-19

¹⁷[I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. ¹⁸And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very center and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the ^[f]hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the ^[g]saints (God’s people), ¹⁹and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe.

These verses emphasize what the true knowledge of God in the Apostle Paul’s prayer is, that our eyes should be enlightened with;
1. The Hope of our calling.
2. The riches of His Glorious inheritance in His Saints.
3. The surpassing greatness of His power in us who believe.

This power was evident and manifest when;

a. God Raised Christ from the dead.
b. And Seated him at His own Right Hand in heaven.
c. And put all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the Church of his body, including the unlimited power hidden in the Great Mystery.

Plate 2. Vitruvian Man

Our brief tour through the human body represented in the Hebrew Temple reveals deeper truths as access to the holiest of all with the Ark of the Covenant, was available only once a year on the Day of Atonement, by the High Priest. Hebrews tells us Christ is this High Priest after the order of Melchisedek, with an everlasting Priesthood and final perfect sacrifice for all mankind. In some ancient sacred Geometry traditions, the relation of the Diameter to the Circumference, embodied in the pi ratio, symbolized the Names of God; Elohim and Jehovah. With Elohim, the Creator representing the Circumference, of the curved line forming a circle as the totality of His Creation, and in Jehovah, the straight line Diameter, as God relates to the works of His Hands. Thus the pi ratio embodies the geometrical expressions of the Names of the Almighty. We find the basic elements of the concept of “squaring the circle” in the Circle’s diameter inscribed in the circumference of a surrounding Sphere inside a Cube. In I Kings 7:30, the circular Brasen Sea is contained within a square base. This principle survived through the centuries in the domed sacred architecture of many temples and churches, where the circular dome is surrounded by a square building. We should also note that the Holy of the holies, with the Ark of the Covenant, was a perfect cube, within a double-square ground-plan of the Hebrew Tabernacle.

A Key in grasping the 40+ Attributes of God as Rev. Jon Nessle and I have cataloged them, as they relate to the special traits of God referred to as Essences, is summarized in the Chart below. When God’s Word refers to a certain Trait by saying God IS ___, these traits are His very essence. These four traits all mentioned in the Gospel of John; Light, Spirit and Love, are found in their 3 main categories of God’s Attributes, with the fourth, the Word of God explaining them all. 6

As the Circle and Square represent Elohim and Jehovah in the Plate 2. graphic of Vitruvian Man, the Square with the axes represents the Great Pyramid and how Christ embodies this version of the of sacred architecture as seen in the many references to him as the Cheif Cornerstone, and the missing Pyramid Capstone, [Job 38:16, Ps.118:22, Isa. 28:16, Zech. 4:7, Matt. 21:42, Mk.12:10, Lk. 20:17, Acts 4:11, Eph. 2:20, I Pet. 2:6-7]. The gift ministries of the spiritual body of the Church in Christ are the foundation of this body, as they manifest Christ in them.

We should note how both sets of hands and feet of the Vitruvian Man are touching the boundaries, one of the circle and the other of the Square, representing how Christ embodies the Godly Attributes of both Elohim and Jehovah. One of the best examples of how Jesus embodies some of the Jehovah titles is found in reference to 7 redemptive Names of God, in unity with the 7 aspects of the Shepherd in the 23rd Psalm, in the Chart below as more evidence of this Godly septenary order.

The importance of relating pi to septenary units is obvious in a Biblical light when we consider Elohim’s abundant use of the number 7 in His ordering of Creation, for example in the temporal order of the 7 days in the weekly Sabbath, a week of years, the Jubilee, and the 7 Biblical Administrations. Only from the Creator’s viewpoint in His Word, do these applications of the pi ratio seen in Job make sense. As we find in Job 38:5 with the Biblical usage of the Hebrew word “qav,” God’s exercise of the concept of Pi far exceeds any previous application of it by mankind. Only He could apply the pi ratio to the ecliptic.

This is also true with the spherical dimensions of our planet, a concept which is borne out in much greater detail, in the role of pi in the symbolic and architectural design of the Great Pyramid.

In Psalm 19, The heavens declare the glory of God… Verse 4 says,

“Their line [qav] is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He hath set a tabernacle for the sun.”

In the 38th chapter of Job, God is discussing the foundations of the Earth. Verse 5 asks: “Who hath laid the measures thereof, if you know? Or who hath stretched the line upon it?” The obvious Biblical answer to these questions is the Creator. The Hebrew word for “line” here is qav, [*H6957]. 7 In light of the usage of “qav” in I Kings 7:23, God’s exercise of Pi as a standard ruler or measure in laying and measuring the spherical dimensions and foundations of our planet, recorded in Job, the oldest book in the Biblical Canon is enlightening. This is especially the case when we consider the context of Job 38, that deals with a series of questions about various elements of Creation, that only God Almighty could be the answer to. It also shows the Diameter of the Circumference, embodied in the pi ratio, symbolizing the Names of God; Elohim the Creator and Jehovah, in relation to His Creation, in light of the 12 tribes of Israel and the circle of the 12 signs of the Mazzaroth.

The Hebrew word for “line“- qav, [*H6957] carries the primary meaning of a measuring cord, a ruler, or a standard of measure. We are also familiar with this concept by another term known as a “canon.” Let me ask you, what is the heavenly or celestial line that is a tabernacle, or provides the houses of the sun? The only sensible answer is the ecliptic! This is quite logical when we consider that the Israelites, during their 40-year sojourn in the Sinai wilderness were led by God, seen as a pillar of cloud during the day, and one of fire by night. The pillars dwelt over the Holy of the Holies of their Tabernacle, signifying the Jehovah’s personal presence among His people. When they camped for the evenings, Numbers 2 tells us they camped in the order of the tribes as it matched the order of the course of the sun on the ecliptic, (east, south, west, north). Israel’s twelve tribes, as we are aware by now, also matched up with the twelve signs of the Mazzaroth in their God-ordained significance, before they were corrupted in heathen Astrology and mythology. This tribal order is also found in the 12 jewels of the High Preist’s breastplate, [Ex. 28:15-21]. Thus the celestial gospel originally related the story of the coming redeemer of mankind, which God wrote in the stars before He ever committed it to His Written Word. These are the words of Ps. 19:4 that have gone out through all the earth, unto the end of the world. This application of the Pi ratio (the mathematics of the diameter of a circle to its circumference) by God, in reference to the ecliptic is certainly intriguing not only in light of the Sun’s 360–degree path through its 12 houses of the zodiac, as viewed from Earth, but also in how the Sun as the light of the world embodies Christ, in relation to Israel, who rejected him.

Historically, Great Pyramid researchers going back to ancient times have made intriguing observations concerning the dimensions and symbolism of the only ancient wonder of the world still standing. Ancient Scholars from Herodotus to Agatharchides of Cnidus in the 2nd Century BC, usually stressed the mathematical and geometric principles governing the construction and conception of the Pyramid complex on the Giza Plateau, as opposed to their specific measures. Livio Stechini,
a modern scholar analyzing the work of these ancient and modern Pyramid researchers, focused on the meridian triangle of the Great Pyramid, that provided excellent values for both the Pi and Phi ratios, of the four triangular faces of the Great Pyramid. Agatharchides presented dimensions for two meridian sections of the Pyramid based on Pi, with the other two triangular sections based on Phi. 8 Vitruvian Man depicts Jehovah as reaching out to humanity through Jesus His only begotten Son, as the diameter line that connects the center–point [Man-creation] to the Creator as the eternal Circle, outside Creation. Thus Christ is witnessed as the mediator between God and Man [I Tim. 2:5].

As Agatharchides presented dimensions for the two meridian sections of the Pyramid based on Pi, with the other two triangular sections based on Phi, we find a representation of the four-D ministry of Christ aligned with the 4 triangular faces of the Pyramid. The two triangular faces on the Pyramid’s east-west axis are calculated with pi values, representing the aspects of Christ as King in the Gospel of Matthew, and the Son of God in the Gospel of John. These embody perfected aspects of Christ’s ministry since he is now seated at the right hand of the Heavenly Father as the enthroned King and only begotten resurrected Son of God. The Pyramid’s faces on the north-south axis hold values of phi, representing growth aspects of the kingdoms of Life on Earth, as seen in Christ as Head of the Church and the Son of Man in the Gospel of Luke, and the Servant in the Gospel of Mark. As the ultimate example of a Servant–Christ humiliated himself [Phil. 2:1-8] so that God could exalt him forever at His own right hand. These archetypal lessons of spiritual growth embodied in Christ’s example to all humanity, as the spiritual growth that all members of the body of Christ in his Church, need to follow. As the Son of Man, Jesus is the Paragon of humanity, the exemplar that we all must emulate to make our calling and election sure. The link to Biblical Astronomy is found in Al Zemach–Spica the brightest star in Virgo that embodies the four-fold ministry
of Christ as the King, Son of Man, Servant, and Son of God. The Four Gospels reflect these four ministries of Christ, seen in the Hebrew word “tzemach”-or the “branch.” This Hebrew word is used 12 times in the OT, but these four usages [Isa. 4:2, Jer. 23:5, Zech. 3:8, 6:12] depict the four-fold Ministry of the Messiah, Jehovah’s Branch, and offspring.

The Ark of the Covenant

The septenary relation to pi uncovers the link between the pi and phi ratios, through the popular Fibonacci Series. This is interesting when we consider that the dimensions of Ark of the Covenant conform to the phi standard, in the holiest of all. Since the lid or “mercy seat” of the Ark represents the Creator’s Throne, we not only find the geometric application of the Names of God: Jehovah/Elohim in practice by the Nation of Israel, as they worship the Almighty according to the tenets of Scripture, but the measures of the Ark are based on a 1×2 rectangle [Ex. 25:10] that perfectly conforms the phi ratio as seen also in the Coffer of the Kings Chamber in the Great Pyramid. This phi and pi link makes it possible to obtain pi without the need for measuring! As Livio Stechini tells us: “It is possible to use the Fibonacci Series to obtain an accurate relation for the diameter of the circle to its circumference, without recourse to pi. In the Fibonacci series of 21, 34, 55, if 21 is taken as the diameter of a circle, its circumference will be 55 x 6/5 = 66, accurate to the a 1000th part, giving the Great Pyramid value of pi as 22/7 = 3.142857. Higher numbers in this Fibonacci series give increasingly accurate values in whole numbers, accurate to one ten-thousandth part. Prolonging the series to 80, 144, 233, 377, 610… a diameter of 144 (4 x 576) gives a circumference of 377 x 6/5 or a pi value of 3.1415. A diameter of 233= a circumference of 610 x 6/5 or a pi value of 3.1416…”¹⁰

Since Pi [3.14159…] is central to the geometry of the circle, and the Great Pyramid, it is worth pointing out the relationship between pi and phi, because phi is also used to obtain the value of circular functions, with one example seen clearly in the pentagon or pentagram inscribed in a circle. A beautiful example of this is found first in a comparison of Venus-Earth orbits. These two planets orbit the Sun in a phi ratio, harmony, depicted in a geometric pentagonal pattern, as their mean orbital distances conform to [1+1/phi²]:1.¹¹

This depicts how the sacred geometry of “Squaring the Circle” as seen in the architecture of the Great Pyramid, which embodies the dimensions of our planet earth as a 1/43,200 scale model, as the work of the hands of our Almighty Creator.
As we have witnessed how God illustrates the Attributes of His Names via the Pi and Phi Ratios and their related geometry, we can understand some of His eternal purposes related to the redemption of mankind, and His Temporal order structured to bring humanity back to Him.

Since the phi principle inherent in the Fibonacci Series is the basis of the precepts of geometric growth life throughout the plant and animal kingdoms of life evident in the Creator’s Four Kingdoms of Life, this principle of mathematics as applied to the Church is ever reaching toward the perfected pi aspects of Christ at God’s right Hand. This is evident also in the rise and expansion of the Christian Church in the Book of Acts, as seen in the 8 “symperasma” Great Statements that summarize the spiritual growth as it occurred. As the Creator and ultimate Source of Life, the Almighty has led us on this path of spiritual discovery paved with the principles of geometric and mathematical truth revealed in God’s Word. This is the geometric progression we have just witnessed in our phi journey through the Temple of Israel, and the body of Christ.

Solar System Symmetry and the design pattern of the Hebrew Temple

The banner above was developed to illustrate a phi/Fibonacci relationship in our solar system between Jupiter and Saturn, relative to the Earth, reflected in the line below these planets divided according to the phi ratio. This depicts a phi relationship relative to the mean heliocentric orbits of these planets. As the planets are dispersed in their orbital paths throughout the solar system, they reflect the phi ratio. But this is only one of these relationships among many in our solar system. If it was only one or a few, disconnected incidents of phi, it could be written off to coincidence, but as we will see this is clearly not the case.

We also find relationships of the Fibonacci Series and the phi ratio in the mean sidereal and mean synodic planetary cycles, not to mention their periods of revolution and mean orbital speeds, to include inverse velocity relationships, all based on the ubiquitous phi ratio. Again these many Phi relationships on their own, might not be enough evidence to convince us of an Almighty Creator,
as the Power behind this Intelligent Design, but once each of these individual planets are seen to fit together themselves in a phi or logarithmic spiral operating as an exponential constant, organizing the entire order of our solar system, God’s Creation Symmetry becomes much more difficult to deny. This is especially true when we find the beauty of the celestial phi symphony of our solar system as
a smaller reflection, not only of the same phi spiral highlighting the rotational Symmetry of our spiral Galaxy the Milky Way, but is also inherent in other spiral galaxies of the Universe. A musical analogy is most appropo to describe the symmetrical beauty of the phi dance of planets, not haphazardly but by design. The basic essence of musical Symmetry is
Rhythm consisting of a regular periodic repetition of individual parts, fitting into the constitution of the symmetric whole. The proof of design is in the intelligent ordering
of these individual parts, in concert and ruled by the same phi/ Fibonacci principles governing this spiral system on a larger scale. The design of the Creator’s Symmetry is what is known as “scale-invariant.” Scientists compared “Scale invariant symmetry” to
a “stringed musical instrument that resonates with tuning forks tuned to the same base frequency, or ones that are tuned to entire octaves above or below the base frequency, but not to different frequencies.” ¹No matter the size of the system, it is ruled by the same phi ratio at multiple levels, in a symbiotic and interconnected whole, that points to the only Conductor who is capable of directing this beautiful symphonic Creation, The One and Only Almighty God!

The diameter of Saturn is very close to a phi relationship with the diameter of its rings, as illustrated by the green lines. The inner ring division is in a relationship that is very close to phi with the diameter of the rings outside the sphere of the planet, as illustrated by the blue lines. The Cassini division in the rings of Saturn falls at the Golden Section of the width of the lighter outside section of the rings. 2

Taking this a step further, the phi ratio, aligned with the Creator’s Symmetry as He applied His principles of Intelligent Design in Creation, can be organized along the following lines. Music is the harmonious ordering of the temporal world, Geometry is the harmonious ordering of the spatial world, and Astronomy harmoniously orders Space-Time. The chaos that the enemy injected into God’s creation in the 1st Heaven and Earth, God restored first with the light of His own presence, then with His creation of the Sun, Moon and Stars of the firmament, whose purpose is to give light upon the earth. The order of the temporal cycles of the Sun, Moon and Stars provide the standard by which all mankind set his Sundials, Stone circles, atomic clocks, watches, and calendars, while keeping the farmers planting their crops in the proper seasons, [Gen. 8:22]. This represents the unity of space-time that God re-instituted into His Creation, repairing the damage done by the enemy. God had a unified concept of space and time long before Albert Einstein woke up to this truth in the early 20th century. To grasp this in light of the Lord Jesus Christ, and its spiritual elements, let’s look at [Heb. 1:2-3].

Heb 1:2 Hath in¹⁹⁰⁹ these⁵¹³⁰ last²⁰⁷⁸ days²²⁵⁰ spoken²⁹⁸⁰ unto us²²⁵⁴ by¹⁷²²his Son,⁵²⁰⁷whom³⁷³⁹ he hath appointed⁵⁰⁸⁷ heir²⁸¹⁸ of all things,³⁹⁵⁶ by¹²²³ whom³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² he made⁴¹⁶⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ worlds;¹⁶⁵

“made the worlds” [G165 aion] or ages of time, thus the seven spiritual administrations in God’s Timeline of History. This verse sits in the “Opening Fanfare” of Hebrews, and echoes throughout the entire book [11:3], even as God’s Spoken Words [rhema] do at the start of each of the seven Spiritual Administrations in His Timeline. Jesus as man’s Coming Redeemer, was and is God’s Eternal Purpose and Plan for the Ages, Jesus is the Agent of God’s master-plan of all spiritual history. Everything in time depended upon what JC would do to fulfill the Word of God. Thus, Jesus was and is the consummation of All Time, and is the reason he could say “before Abraham was, I Am,” because in the Creator’s Eternal Purpose and Foreknowledge to redeem the Ages, Christ is the central character/Hero, reordering the temporal ages that the enemy had thrown into chaos.^{3 strong’s notes on G5481}
Heb. 1:2 “by whom [di’ hou; Christ] He [God] made the ages”- the words di or dia’ hou are used to express agency. Dia here takes the genitive case, meaning that there were many agents rather than a sole agent by whom God re-made the ages. Jesus was the primary person by whom God was able to repair the ages that were thrown into ruin as a result of the dragon’s revolt, but it took the collective efforts of all hero’s of faith [Heb. 11] to bring it to pass. In this way, Jesus is seen as the incarnate Word of God that “frames” [G2675–katartizo–completes, restores, perfects] the “ages” [G165-aion] in verse 3, thus God’s temporal order was dependent upon the believing actions of Christ as the basis of God’s plan to restore the ages.

“brightness of his glory”-The light of the world or the fulness of God’s manifested power, and the reflection of this power. [only usage; G541]. 4

”express image”-[G5481 character] the Marker, stamp or beacon of God’s Plan of the Ages, that is manifested in the senses realm. [only usage; G5481].109 G5481 character comes from Charasso-to notch or engrave, the root word is charagma; meaning the thing impressed. Thus Jesus is the impression of God’s signet ring, putting the Royal Seal of approval on God’s created glory. 5

“person”-[G5287 hupostasis] That which stands under-a foundational premise. This has nothing
to do with the “2nd person of the Trinity.” Jesus Christ embodies the marker or indicator of God’s redemption plan for mankind. Used in [Heb. 11:1] Faith is the substructure, or substance-a foundational Biblical premise, including temporal sensitivity [see Heb. 11:3 below]. Hupostasis is the “title deed” of believing in Heb. 11:1, the indicator that whatever we believe for is ours before we have it. 6

Heb 11:3 Through faith4102 we understand3539 that the3588 worlds165 were framed2675 by the word4487 of God,2316 so that things which are seen991 were not3361 made1096 of1537 things which do appear.5316

“worlds” [G165 aion] ages of time were repaired, or set back in order by the individual spoken Words [G4487 rhema] of God. Thus we can trace the Audible Spoken Words of God at the inception
of each Spiritual Administration. Each temporal administration represents a step closer in the progression towards the total reparation of Time that was thrown into chaos by the revolt of Lucifer in the 1st Heaven & Earth. As Rom. 8:19-22 tells us in the Amplified Bible; 7

¹⁹For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed. ²⁰For the creation was subjected to frustration and futility, not willingly [because of some intentional fault on its part], but by the will of Him who subjected it, in hope ²¹that the creation itself will also be freed from its bondage to decay [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of the children of God. ²²For we know that the whole creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now.

The Creator’s temporal order is included in the “whole creation” of Romans 8 above, that is subject to the bondage of decay through the entropy law, which will be vanquished when the children
of God are revealed at the gathering together.

A Biblical Administration is generally defined as “a period of time in God’s historical and spiritual timetable during which God deals with man in a particular way. It is governed by principles or spiritual truths that may be unique unto itself. In rightly dividing the Word of Truth, we must understand that these Biblical Administrations must remain within the bounds or confines in which God has placed them within His Word. The rules of life change in these various time periods, so we must see each administration within its distinct context. When we research ‘to whom’ a particular Scripture is addressed, we must also see which Biblical administration governs the rules.” 8

Since Christ is the end of the Law, we are no longer subject to the dictates of Old Testament Law, but we live by the higher Law of the Love of God, upon which “hang all the law and commandments.” Yet the accuracy of these ordinances of heaven continue to set the standard for truth in the important areas, not only of physical but spiritual calendars and timekeeping that we continue to apply in modern times according to the perpetual Covenant of Day and Night [Jer. 33:20 -22]. This is a trait of a “mandate from heaven,” that its truth can remain applicable beyond the scope of its original Biblical Administration. [Gen. 8:22]

As Jon Nessle has taught us, with a panoramic view of all 7 Biblical Administrations or “ages” we can note the step by step progress being made spiritually as we search out the words spoken by God and His prophets at the opening of each Age.

Ultimately the union of Space-time is rooted in the unity of Sound and Light, first found in the Genesis 1, Phrase: AND GOD SAID… When God Thundered forth His Spoken Word, it was the essence of Divine Truth at the foundation of All Creation, which is found by scientists today, as a series of interconnected energy fields that vibrate coherently and on multiple levels, in the symphony of a universal harmony of matter and energy. If there is a unified field theory to be found, this will be its true Source! It is a vibrantly living ALL Truth that resonates through all levels of Creation, not some stale “information theory.” Information is neutral and devoid of the power the Creator has infused in the Word of His Truth. Science is at a loss to fully account for the coherence of repeated cosmic ratios, along with finely tuned universal Anthropic constants like the Fibonacci/ Phi/Lucas number patterns, or the constant of the Mass of the proton, which God has tuned to His energy fields in Creation to produce harmonic ratios that gave rise to the highly improbable conditions that generated life. Empirical Science will remain at a loss as long as they approach the problem from an evolutionary/materialistic context, or from a position that does not honor or acknowledge the Creator for the Work that only His Hands can accomplish. [Rom. 1:19-23].

As we inspect the order of our Solar System, some obvious questions arise. Why are the periods of Jupiter and Saturn in a 2:5 orbital ratio? Why are the periods of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in a 1:2:3 orbital ratio, and Earth and Venus in an 8:5 orbital ratio and a 13:8 period ratio?

Venus orbits the Sun in 224.695 days while Earth orbits the Sun in 365.242 days, in a ratio of 8/13 (both Fibonacci numbers) or 0.615 (roughly phi.) Thus 5 conjunctions of Earth and Venus occur every 8 orbits of the Earth around the Sun, and every 13 orbits of Venus.

Why are Mars and Jupiter locked into a 1:12 resonance, Saturn and Uranus in a 3:1 resonance, and a 2:3 resonance between Mercury’s rotational and orbital periods? In other words, why does Mercury have an 88-day year and a 59-day rotation period making its day in a 2:3 ratio with its year? When the time period of each planet’s revolution around the sun is compared in round numbers to the one adjacent to it, their fractions are Fibonacci numbers!

Beginning with Neptune and moving inward toward the sun, the ratios are 1/2 (Uranus: 30,688 earth days to Neptune: 60,193 earth days), 1/3 (Saturn: 10,670 to Uranus: 30,688), 2/5 (Jupiter:4,332 to Saturn:10,670), 3/8 (Ceres: 1,681 to Jupiter: 4,332), 5/13 (Mars: 687 to Ceres: 1,681), 8/21 (Venus: 225 to Mars: 687) and 13/34 (Mercury:88 to Venus: 225). These are all Fibonacci numbers in proper sequence, skipping Earth, as if the Designer of this system had foreknowledge that Earth was the vantage point from which this pattern would be observed. The influence of the Fibonacci series in the order of our Solar System, reflects how the orbital distances of the planets approximate the phi ratio.

At times we forget about the asteroids when thinking of the planets in our solar system. Ceres, the largest asteroid, is nearly spherical, comprises over one-third the total mass of all the asteroids and is thus the best of these minor planets to represent the asteroid belt. 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,… But this doesn’t mean Earth is haphazard. It also has an intermediate set of Fibonacci ratios of 8/13 (Earth: 365 to Mars: 687) and 13/21 (Venus: 225 to Earth: 365). There is no way arbitrary haphazard chance that can account for the precision behind this kind of mathematical and geometric order and design. This kind of design demands an Intelligent DESIGNER!

¹⁸For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who ^[d]suppress the truth in unrighteousness, ¹⁹because what may be known of God is ^[e]manifest ^[f]in them, for God has shown it to them. ²⁰For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and ^[g]Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

Due to the 13:8 ratio of Venus: Earth orbital relationship, every 8 years Venus will be almost in the same place in the sky. It will have had 5 synodic (conjunction) periods of 583.92 days superior or inferior. If each cycle of 5 conjunctions takes 8 years to complete, then the following complete cycle must be divisible by 5 and the year count divisible by 8. However, because of the 2.34 day difference every 8 years, the conjunctions “precess” in the reverse direction. As this data shows, the planets depict phi relationships not only in Orbital and Synodic periods, but this also implies a relationship between the Phi ratio, and the Inverse Square Law which governs both gravity and electro-magnetism. This again illustrates the unity of sound and light, because as explained by certain scientists today Gravity is a form of Sound, or Vibrational Frequency Waves, not just audible sound, which like visible light is a narrow range. We are referring to the spectrum of Sonic waves, including ELF’s (Extra Low Frequency Waves) – ULF’s (Ultra Low Frequency Waves) etc.

The Ancients it seems were aware of some of these truths, as seen in the Vesica Piscis representation wherein two over-lapping of circles shown in the ancient Vesica, the circle on the right represents the act of Creation as the Almighty spoke the Universe into being. The results of this ultimate sound wave, are witnessed in the second circle representing all that was created. As the First Cause uttered the first sound, it continues to reverberate through all creation, bouncing back, off of the created objects returning back on itself, exhibiting the order of sound resonance in symphony, with the Creator’s will, Who upholds all creation by His Word. God is represented symbolically as a Circle of Light as seen in His Covenant with Noah [Gen. 9:12-17], the number seven being the perfect standard of God’s Creation. The Circle perfectly depicts Unity, without beginning or end. In the Vesica Piscis image, the circumference of the Second Circle passes through the center of the first, as a projection and outward image of itself, or Elohim manifesting as El.

The entrance of God’s Word always brings light, [Ps. 119:130], so as God spoke to give Light; the Sound of God’s Voice preceded Light. The Oscillatory Frequency principle rings true, since Sound is an Energy active on a lower Scale building towards light. This is an accurate
way to grasp the Biblical principles of God’s Creation from a scientific viewpoint since based on this Oscillatory Frequency, Sound is Energy acting on a lower Scale, building towards light. As visible Light appears on the 49th Octave, it explains its Divine origin and relation. Since the Number 49 is the product of 7 X 7, it stands for each Circle of the spiral being traversed 7 times as this beautiful Light Energy was preceded by Sound with its Seven Musical Notes, before physical Light was created, with its Seven Spectral Colors.

This Oscillatory Frequency principle can also be expressed as atoms in the energy of a sound wave or vibration. This has led to the first theoretical framing of gravity in a quantum context that I am aware of, as seen in what follows. “At the atomic level, this mechanical energy vibration is known to be quantized in discrete amounts called phonons, just as an atom absorbs or emits the energy contained in the vibrations of the electromagnetic waves we call light, in discrete amounts called photons. And these phonons or “particles of sounds” just as the photons or “particles of light”, imply that the waves they belong to, propagate in discrete amounts called quanta. If a photon is a quantum of light, a phonon would be a quantum of sound. Both quanta were first believed to be massless, but up to very recently — and almost by accident — it was found that phonons do in fact carry a very small amount of mass. They are massive.”

“This is no surprise, since Einstein’s famous equation E=mc² tells us that there is an exact equivalence between energy and mass. To understand the meaning of the equation, we use the following image. Very roughly speaking, mass is confined vibration; it translates into a gravitational effect. Meanwhile, light is a propagating vibration, such that the boundary condition between propagating and confined vibration is precisely the proportional constant known as the speed of light; c, which sets the limit to the speed a mass can travel, i.e., a limit for the vibrations to remain confined, and hence exercise gravity. For this reason, electromagnetic (light) vibrations are energy carriers that remain massless in motion because they propagate at the speed of light. Since sound concerns propagating vibrations through phonons traveling slower than the speed of light, some mass is implied, even if traveling in air.”

We show that, in fact, sound waves do carry mass—in particular, gravitational mass. This implies that a sound wave not only is affected by gravity but also generates a tiny gravitational field, an aspect not appreciated thus far. Our findings are valid for nonrelativistic media as well, and could have intriguing experimental potential.”12

This new light from scientific research depicts the unity of Space-time based upon a unity of sound and light, from a quantum view, again upholding the accuracy of God’s Word, even as elements of modern science are bearing this out. The ramifications for Cause and Effect remain to be seen for this new Quantum theory of sound, but it bears watching.

The image of the Vesica Piscis, above is an expression of God speaking Creation into being, but is not limited to philosophical discourses, since it can be witnessed as we behold this pattern of Creation in the order of the Heavens.

The graphic below shows another view of the precession of the poles from the perspective of the interlocking circles of the ecliptic and Equator, at the North pole, with the fish-shaped lozenge of the vesica between them. This “vessel of the fish” is formed from the lozenge of these two over-lapping circles, of the Venn Diagram or Vesica Piscis, the center of each located on the perimeter
of the other. Archimedes called the formula linked with this, the “Measure of the fish.” This can also be representative of Christ, who is the One mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus, [1 Tim. 2:5]. Its import to math and geometry was found in the ratio of its height to its length [153:265], and the fact that it represented the nearest whole number approximation of the square root of 3, along with the controlling ratio of equilateral triangles.¹¹This provides a sonic signature from which we can explore the genuine patterns of God’s voice-print of creation, and His application of mathematics and geometry in His structure and ordering of Creation.

In the act of Creation the Infinite, Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent Heavenly Father revealed some of his attributes in His Spoken, Written and Incarnate Word. We find this illustrated in the Vesica Piscis above. As the first Circle spoke the second circle into manifestation, it revealed this double circle Vesica form. These are the extreme Northern Skies, around which all creation turns, representing God’s dwelling in the Mount of the Congregation in the Sides of the North, where Lucifer desired to exalt his throne above the stars of the True God, [Isa. 14:13, Job 26:7-10]. Here resides the secret knowledge of God, that He has not yet revealed. These are some of the Mysteries that He will take eternity to reveal unto His Church in the spiritual body of Christ, [Deut. 29:29]. We can also see God’s secret and infinite Attributes under Elohim/Eloah, vs. those He shared with Christ in the Vesica and the Northern skies, vs. those He shares in Christ with the Church in the outer third of the Vesica, depicting a dynamic pattern of revelation, not only concerning God’s attributes, but also concerning precessional time of the Northern pole stars, relative to the earth’s astronomical history. As we consider the Vesica and its sacred geometry, the following root rectangles can be found within the Vesica Piscis: √2, √3 and √5.

The first number that we see is √2, a sacred number found in Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem. The square symbolizes unity in our physical universe, √2 symbolizes duality. What really captivates our attention here is that the very pattern of the structure of the firmament conforms not only to the overlapping circles of the Vesica Piscis, illustrating the impact of the Creator thundering His Voice, leaving a permanent imprint on the order of the Heavens themselves. But to leave no doubt, we find this identical double square rectangle preserved in Scripture serving as blueprints for the Temple at Jerusalem.

In sacred geometry, the square represents the physical world. If its side is one, its perimeter is exactly four, and its area is one square – exactly.

The diagonal of a square whose side is 1 is √2, or 1.4142135624∞. This is what is called an “irrational number.” While there are several ways to describe an irrational number, one definition is, “a decimal number that never ends, never repeats.” Never ends? That takes it to infinity (∞) – into the spiritual. So while the square represents the physical, it has within it, a connection to the spiritual. All sacred geometrical figures have this connection.

The square was found in the Holy of Holies (G,H,F,E) and the Holy Place was a double square [C,D,E,F] in the Temple showing the blueprints of a 1 x 2 rectangle of the Temple housing the Ark of the Covenant. (These dimensions are from the 1st part of Ezek. 41.)

This view powerfully depicts how the Temple and Tabernacle symbolized God’s celestial design of the heavens, seen in their two altars, mirroring the two poles of the ecliptic and the Celestial Equator. This also agrees with many of the principles seen in the pattern of God’s Intelligent Design inherent in His Creation. Since the “pattern of the Tabernacle” contains the phi ratio also known as the “divine proportion” or the golden section we can see definitive Biblical evidence that this universally recognized standard of measure is truly divine in origin, since the dimensions of these sacred architectural structures were given by revelation from God to Moses and King David.

We should keep in mind that this double-square, (1x 2 rectangle) configuration of the Temple court containing the phi ratio, is also found in the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant [Ex. 25:10], along with in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid. The dynamic celestial equator, the second circle secular in nature, relates to both the civil calendar year and the earthly Equator mirrored above into the heavens. The movement of the equatorial pole around the static pole of the ecliptic is what is known as the precession of the poles. The intersection points of the ecliptic and Celestial

Equator are called the equinoctial points, known as the Spring and Fall equinoxes, where

the length of daylight is equal to the dark of night. The altar in the Holy of Holies, keeping the
Ark of the Covenant is represented in the sacred pole of the ecliptic, around which the equatorial pole moves, both wheels, inter-locked in the form of a Venn Diagram, depicting God’s personal presence among His people.

In the Old Testament, God’s presence was only accessible annually as the people obeyed the guidelines of the Law carried out by the High Priest, to cover for their sins. The pattern of eastern access, holds true not only for Solomon’s Temple of the Old Testament, but also remained intact for the latter Temple referred to in Ezekiel 43.

By liberating the divine blueprint of the Temple and Tabernacle from a profane orientation that has served to distort its original pattern, perhaps new light can be shed upon the true Godly design and purpose hidden in these divine architectural blueprints. By allowing God’s Word to speak for itself in this important area, we introduce a fresh perspective to the field of Biblical Archaeo-Astronomy, emphasizing the liberating power of adopting a genuine Biblical perspective in this meaningful area of research. This allows us to catch new glimpses of glories long hidden from astrologers and empiricists, whose practices for far too long have clouded the inherent grandeur of the Creator’s sacred architecture.

The Almighty Creator in His infinite wisdom and power built Fibonacci’s golden ratio not only in the foundation of the order of our Solar System, but in all four kingdoms of life on earth, not to mention in the design of the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle. As our solar system reflects the larger order of the spiral galaxies, so they also reflect the sonic and visible spectrums of the Light of God, emerging from the sound of His spoken Voice. This proof and evidence of Intelligent Design cannot be explained by natural law or natural selection, because it does not serve any evolutionary survival value and no cause other than support for a Creator Who is the First Cause, and Deliberate DESIGNER expressing the beauty and purposes of the Works of His Hands. In order for the Musical order of the solar system to take place, all of the planets had to conform to a certain Mass in order to move in a Certain Period and Distance. If any planet had been smaller or larger than they are, the pattern could not exist. Thus here is evidence that the size of the planets was predetermined by the Creator to have the planets move in a particular Aesthetic Harmony.

Scientist Ray Tomas has developed a theory called the ‘Harmonics of the Universe’. For many years Ray Tomas had been working in business for clients, developing economic models to forecast market developments and commodities pricing. Eventually he discovered cyclic behavior in stock market prices that were harmonics of the planetary periods. He also found musical ratios in the harmonics involving fractions of 3/2, 4/3 and 2 and proportions of 4:5:6:8 that formed major cords in the musical scale. His theory now suggests that many cyclic events occurring in nature such as biological, physical, and economic cycles have harmonic frequencies that are interrelated much like the notes in music. Tomas found that many economic cycles are pure harmonics of the Sun’s rotation, like the Sunspot cycle of 11.07 years. The Sunspot cycle is the cycle in the Sun’s activity that decreases and increases in cycles culminating to a Solar Max every 11.07 years. Tomas believes that the cycles that we find in our Solar System are harmonics of even larger cycles occurring in our galaxy-the Milky Way. All galactic cycles eventually are believed to be harmonics of a single universal cosmic cycle. Even as we find with the witness of Scripture with the unity of Sound and light, and the Vedic (the language of the Vedas, an early Sanskrit form) has always explained that the universe is the result of one primordial resonating vibration, known in eastern religions as the Ohm sound of creation. In a sense it could be said that our uni-verse follows a symphony of one huge song, spoken into being by the Almighty God. 15

Another example of a related area of research in harmonic laws related to the solar system concerns Bode’s Law. When compared to the superior accuracy of the Fibonacci series, Bodes Law shows an average deviation of 15%, while the 8 planets and 2 dwarf planets of our solar system show only an average deviation of 2.75%, from the Fibonacci Series. Bode’s Law relates to the distances of the planetary orbits starting with Mercury and moving away from the Sun. As we consider each planetary orbit, related to the orbit of each planetary neighbor in the solar system, we
can observe a recurring pattern of conjunctions. This provides an innovative way to view planetary conjunctions as musical chords. These planetary observations have noted that regular recurring conjunctions between the planets, take place in cyclical periods producing chords with high accuracy in the diatonic notes of an octave.

“The numbers above the “Years line” indicate the conjunctions of each planet with the Sun and the Earth. The numbers in the Planet rows depict the number of conjunctions the planet makes with the Sun and earth in the related time periods. As Jupiter completes 11 conjunctions nearly every 12 years, so it appears on the 24th, 36th & 48th year. However, every 24 years Jupiter not only conjuncts with the Earth, but also Mercury and Venus, producing a four-planet alignment. Every 36th year Jupiter conjuncts not only the Earth again, but also the Asteroid Belt. Then again in the 48th year, Jupiter repeats its union with Mercury and Venus, completing this Octave of planetary unions, suggesting a series of Cosmic Chords.” 17
The regular planetary conjunctions depicted in this chart, take place in specific time intervals and their ratios of orbital resonance reflect with high accuracy the diatonic notes of an octave.

Because the Phi ratio is pervasive through the kingdoms of life, from the telescopic to the micro–scopic, it represents more than just a geometric pattern ruling life. It also lays down a pattern that life follows to reach a closer fellowship with the Creator. As with the Nautilus shell based on the numbers of an algorithmic spiral provide the ideal environs for the Nautilus at each stage of its physical growth-life, so we see this principle illustrated in the structure of the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle. In a previous teaching called the Father of Lights, we illustrated in Gen. 1, that whenever God spoke, something wonderful resulted. The Sound of His voice is antecedent to light which we can see in the following reference:

“And God said, Let there be Light and there was Light. And God saw the Light, that it was good: and God divided the Light from the darkness.” The entrance of God’s Word always brings light, [Ps. 119:130], so as God spoke to give Light; the Sound of His voice precedes Light.

The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration (frequency), and that rate is called resonance.

It seems that the Fibonacci series and the Phi ratio or golden section holds a unique piece of property at the perceived cross-current between science and religion, although there is more code of the Fibonacci series on the sub-atomic level in DNA than anything man has ever developed. This information did not appear by chance or out of nowhere, it was already put there by the same Designer that put His own “seal of approval” on some of the other aspects of His kingdoms of Creation, marked by the same math and geometry.

These divine ratios and proportions, being the Golden Section, Pi, Phi and others, identifies these as a conscious exercise in the laws of harmony and proportion as found in nature and in the human body, culminating in the awakening of divine consciousness in Solomon’s Temple, but even more in the Church and Spiritual body of Christ. [I Cor. 6:19, Jn. 2:21]

Ultimately, it is only the fool in his heart that says there is no God! [Ps. 14:1]

Biblical, Scientific and Geometric links between Eclipses and Earthquakes

This week during the 4th of July Holiday as our family prepared for our in-home BBQ feast, in Las Vegas, I felt the tremors of the second earthquake experience of my life. The first was in Virginia Beach when a 5.8 magnitude earthquake in 2011 cracked the obelisk of the Washinton Monument in DC. This week we felt a 6.4 magnitude “foreshock” on the 4th, followed by a 7.1 magnitude on July 6th. This 2nd quake was 7 times stronger than the first and the 7.1-quake occurred 3.5 days after the total eclipse in Gemini, pictured below.

The epicenter of this earthquake was Ridgecrest, CA, 144 miles from Las Vegas as the crow flies. Just because these were the 2nd and 3rd earthquakes of my life, did not mean it was without its Firsts. To have a foreshock, multiple quakes are required. Obviously, this was also my first multi-quake in the space of two days, and there remained a high probability for other quakes to follow. This was the strongest quake to hit the Southern California area since 1999. On the morning of July 12th, 4 days ahead of the eclipse coming July 16th-17, there were further quakes and aftershocks. Around 3am there was a 4.6 magnitude earthquake felt in Seattle, Wa, followed 3 hours later by a 4.9 magnitude aftershock, again at Ridgecrest, CA. The satellite imagery below shows the result of the first two quakes last week.

Earthquakes are caused by sudden slippage on a Fault. As the slow motion of tectonic plates progresses, friction causes these plates to get stuck at their edges. Once the stress builds on the edge, it overcomes the friction, causing an earthquake to release energy in waves that move through the earth’s crust, which we feel in the form of tremors.

Foreshocks are earthquakes that precede larger earthquakes in the same location. An earthquake is not classified as a foreshock until followed by bigger earthquakes in the same area. Aftershocks are smaller earthquakes that take place in the same general area during a period consisting of days to years following a larger event. These aftershocks occur in a 1-2 fault lengths range, during the period before background seismic activity level has resumed. Aftershocks are minor readjustments with the part of the fault that slipped at the time of the mainshock. The frequency of these aftershocks generally decrease with time.

If you think there has been an uptick in earthquakes recently, you may be on to something. A new study finds there were more than twice as many big earthquakes in the first quarter of 2014 as compared with the average since 1979.

“We have recently experienced a period with one of the highest rates of great earthquakes ever recorded,” said lead study author Tom Parsons, a research geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in Menlo Park, California. 2 Also Thorne Lay, a professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, thinks there’s something interesting happening with the world’s great earthquakes.

Between 1900 and 2004, the average yearly rate of quakes of magnitude 8 and larger was 0.65, Lay told Live Science. In the past 10 years, [2004-2014] that rate jumped to 1.8 — an increase of almost a factor of 3, he said. But only the biggest quakes are becoming more frequent. There isn’t a similar rise in smaller earthquakes. 3

An interesting added element to the 1st quarter of 2014 was the opening of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-15, which began with a Blood Moon lunar eclipse on April 14th, 2014. This also coincides with eclipse activity this month with the first Total Solar Eclipse on July 2nd, 2019 including the seismic activity we summarized above.

On the night of July 16-17, 2019, much of the world can watch a partial eclipse of the full Moon. This will be the last time that the Moon enters the Earth’s dark umbral shadow until the Total Lunar eclipse on May 26th, 2021.

North America will miss this eclipse entirely. The eclipse is visible from South America in early evening July 16. From Europe and Africa, it happens later in the evening July 16. In Asia and Australia, watch for the eclipse to occur during the dark morning hours July 17.

In ancient times eclipses were rare enough to frighten, especially those influenced by astrology, idol myth and superstition, but as scientific knowledge of astronomy spread, eclipses were regular enough for advanced cultures, such as the Greeks and Mayans, to predict. Today, eclipses are cruise destinations for astronomy buffs, and get coverage in current events aspect of the News, but with the Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse Tetrads, interest has surged due to Biblical prophetic aspects of these heavenly signs. Also, since this Blood Moon Tetrad Brackets the Total Solar Eclipse @ the North Pole on March 20th, 2015, it also seems to bear relation to the Great American Total Solar of 2017, that forms the baseline of the Giant “X” in the central US earthquake zone known as the Madrid Fault, where a second Solar Eclipse path will cross in 2024, perhaps an ominous warning of God’s impending Judgment.

The New Madrid fault zone is six times larger than the San Andreas fault zone in California and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. Back in 1811 and 1812, a series of very devastating earthquakes along this New Madrid fault zone opened some deep fissures in the ground, causing the Mississippi River to run backwards in some places, and were felt as far away as Washington D.C. and Boston. They were the strongest quakes ever recorded east of the Rocky Mountains, and the heart of this “X” falls not only closest to its place of longest duration of eclipse totality, but also precisely in the area where we would expect such an earthquake. This does not mean these two solar eclipses are predicting an earthquake event, but it could serve as a warning for the U.S.A. to repent and turn to God, reminding us the Day of Christ’s crucifixion darkness was marked by a great earthquake.

Matt. 27:50-51

⁵⁰And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

⁵¹Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.

This is one of a few instances where earthquakes could be considered miraculous, if not for their timing alone. Of course, the rending of the veil represented how Christ’s sacrifice opened the way to access into the holiest of all-God’s presence in the Throne-room for those made righteous in Christian New birth. Another earthquake involved the Resurrection of Christ in Matthew 28.

Matt. 28:1-7

He Is Risen

28 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. ²And behold, there was a great earthquake; [seismos] for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone ^[a]from the door, and sat on it. ³His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. ⁴And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

⁵But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. ⁶He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. ⁷And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is Risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

In verse 2 above this earthquake may have resulted from the “ angel of the Lord descended from heaven” when he rolled back the stone from the entrance of Christ’s sepulchure. As the angel sat on this stone it signified that nothing could hold Jesus in his grave, because he had conquered death for all mankind once and for all. During his ministry in Matthew 24, Christ prophesied that earthquakes would be a marker of the end times.

Matt. 24:3-8

³Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

⁴And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. ⁵For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. ⁶And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for ^[a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. ⁷For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, ^[b]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. ⁸All these are the beginning of sorrows.

This Matt. 24 record has distinct prophetic overtones, that link earthquakes not only to the end times, but also with God’s Judgement.

The graphic above from Daniel Matson shows a 1260 day period between the last Blood Moon of the 2014-15 Tetrad, and the 70 year anniversary of the modern State of Israel’s Independence, wherein a Tetrad of earthquakes occurred at notable intervals. 4 This graphic depicts a seemingly direct link between the Blood Moon Tetrad and the Tetrad of earthquakes that followed in the 1260 day period from 2015 to 2019. Another resurrection record is found in the book of Revelation 11.

Rev. 11:3-14

³And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty [1260] days, clothed in sackcloth.” ⁴These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the ^[b]God of the earth. ⁵And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. ⁶These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.

The Two Witnesses Killed

⁷When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. ⁸And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also ^[c]our Lord was crucified. ⁹Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations ^[d]will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. ¹⁰And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

The Witnesses Resurrected

¹¹Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. ¹²And they heard
a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. ¹³In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven. ¹⁴The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

It is notable that the 1260 day ministry period wherein these 2 witnesses prophesy is closed out with an earthquake that kills 7000. Assuming this is the 2nd 1260 day period of the Great Tribulation equalling 2520 days, then the added month totaling 1290 days and the additional 45 days, equaling 1335 days could begin here. This is even more interesting when we consider if 2520 lunar and 2520 solar years begin together, the former will run out 75 years before the latter, an astronomical fact unknown to astronomical science in Daniel’s day, but was known in Scripture; (Dan. 12:11-13). We should also note that there are 75 years difference between 1260 (the 2nd half of 2520) and 1335 days. (Because the so-called Prophetic 360-day years are merely the avg. of the Luni-solar year combined, are 35 years less than 2520 solar years. Since 2520 is a key temporal number having factors of three numbers used universally by the ancients to measure time: 7, the number of days in the week. 30, the number of days in the month, and 12, the number of months in the year, we might expect that 2520 is also a number that harmonizes lunar months and days. 2520 lunar years equals 893,004.72 days which is nearly a perfect cycle harmonizing the 29.5305 month with the day because when dividing 893,004 by 12 and then 7, the result is 10,631 days for 30 lunar years, giving the length of the lunar year a value of 354 11/30, or 354.3666667 (The lunar year of 12 months is actually 354.3670582 days). Each year of 354 days can thus be divided into months of 29 and 30 days alternately; and in the cycle of 30 lunar years, 11 intercalary days are required. The number 2520 is also divisible by every number from 1 to 10, without remainder.

Also in Revelation 6 there seems to be a more direct correlation found between earthquakes and Solar-Lunar eclipses.

Rev. 6:12

And I behold when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the Sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the Moon became as blood.

Although it is difficult to find a scientist who admits it, it can be demonstrated that there is a minor increase in major earthquakes around the time of the full Moon, based on physical statistics. This is logical as the Moon’s gravitational pull is strong enough to cause the earth’s tides, and a full moon is when the Sun and Moon are pulling on our planet from opposite directions. In some of our planetary tides, the Earth’s crust can bulge up to 55 centimeters from the solar and lunar forces of gravity that are greatest when the three bodies are aligned, during an eclipse. A lunar eclipse is basically a super-full Moon, where its alignment with the Earth blocks the Sun’s light, preventing it from reaching the Moon.

Likewise, a Solar eclipse is an alignment, but where the Moon and Sun are pulling on the earth from the same direction. Thus if the push-pull of this type of gravitational activity can cause earthquakes, they are more likely to occur during an eclipse.

These Scripture references not only point out links between earthquakes and eclipse activity. There are several references from ancient history which document similar instances, as seen below.

In the fourth year of the 202nd Olympiad, there was an eclipse of the Sun which was greater than any known before and in the sixth hour of the day it became night; so that stars appeared in the heaven; and a great earthquake that broke out in Bithynia destroyed the greatest part of Nicaea. — Phlegon

“… there was an eclipse of the Sun at the time of a new Moon, and in the early part of the same month an earthquake.” — Thucydides

“earthquakes and eclipses of the Sun which came to pass more frequently than had been remembered in former times.” — Thucydides 5

The last quote could be an indicator of an additional factor. What if the earthquake/eclipse connection is cyclical? This is where geometric patterns like the Pi and Phi ratios could provide an explanation of the relationship between eclipses and earthquakes. There is also an added less stable force to be considered, and that force is magnetic. The Sun, Moon and Earth each have magnetic fields, and we know that the Solar and Earthly magnetic fields can vary significantly.

Modern scientists have not been studying these magnetic fields long enough to notice any long-duration patterns. Ancient scientists were unlikely to have been able to measure magnetic fields – but an ancient culture could have noticed a cycle of megaquakes, which are a result of the magnetic interactions. 6

Even as ancient writers noticed a link between earthquakes and eclipses, modern scholars have noted not only the link between luni-solar eclipses and earthquakes,
but also have found geometric patterns like the Pi and Phi Ratios linking these geophysical and celestial events. As seen above in one of many related graphics from Daniel Matson, he has linked the first Blood Moon of the 2014-15 Tetrad, to a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Russia, to the first free worship of the Jews on the Temple Mount in 50 years, via the Pi ratio. He depicts numerous other similar relationships on his website, [watchfortheday.org]. Once we see the relationship of universal geometric constants like
pi and phi linked to these phenomena, it provides another layer beyond the exclusively physical or materialistic view to consider.

Could this all be a lead-up to the final Biblical earthquake referenced in Revelation 16?

Rev. 16:18-20
¹⁷Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” ¹⁸

And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earth-quake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. ¹⁹Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. ²⁰Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

There is available data linking eclipse/earthquake activity, on Wikipedia, as seen below; 8

Research has been done on every earthquake measuring 6.5+ in magnitude since 1973 (as far back as the USGS records reliably go) against every lunar and solar eclipse. As noted, there does seem to be a connection with the worst quakes of recent times.

What about solar eclipses? Well most of them do not have an obvious earthquake connection. But for those that do, the quakes can be horrific. The pair of earthquakes with the most fatalities in the last few years were Haiti on Jan. 12, 2010 and Kashmir on October 8, 2005. Both of these devastating quakes occurred within 5 days of a solar eclipse.

Lunar eclipses do have an effect. These numbers are for total and partial lunar eclipses, compared to average earthquake rates, from Jan 1973 to the present:

As an example, since Jan 1973 there have been 88 lunar eclipses, and within one day of those eclipses there have been 45 earthquakes of a magnitude of 6.5+. So there’s roughly a 50/50 chance of such a 6.5+ quake occurring in that time frame, whereas it’s only about a third outside of non-eclipse periods.

Below are some recent examples – every full lunar eclipse since 2000, which gets our attention not only due to loss of human life, but to the close proximity of eclipse activity with seismic disturbance:

26 January 2001 – A magnitude 7.6 earthquake in the Indian Province of Gujarat. The death toll was 19,727, with 166,000 injured, 15 days after the lunar eclipse.
1 May 2003 – 176 people have died and 521 people were injured from a 6.4 earthquake in Turkey’s Bingöl province, 15 days before the lunar eclipse.
17 November 2003 – 7.8 magnitude earthquake at Rat Island, Alaska, 8 days after the lunar eclipse.
23 October 2004 – 6.7 magnitude earthquake in northern Japan, killing 30+ people and injuring more than 2000, 5 days before the lunar eclipse.
6 March 2007 – Two earthquakes struck Sumatra measuring 6.4 and 6.3. Over 60 deaths and 460 injuries. 3 days after the lunar eclipse.
15 August 2007 – 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Peru killed over 600 people, with thousands injured. 13 days before the lunar eclipse.
21 February 2008 – 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia killed 3 people and injured 25. 19 hours before the lunar eclipse.
21 December 2010 – 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Japan, on eclipse day. The following day there was a 6.5 quake in Iran, killing 11 people.

Looking further back in time, the earthquake in Iran on September 16, 1978, the most devastating one of that year, that killed more that 25,000 people, occurred just 3.5 hours before a total lunar eclipse was visible there. [https://survive2012.com/eclipses-and-earthquakes/] 10

The March 19, 2011 SuperMoon—also a full Moon at lunar perigee sparked fears of other natural disasters, and took place 8 days after the 9.0 magnitude undersea megathrust quake—known as the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami—which pulverized Japan and spawned devastating tsunamis that claimed more than 15,000 lives while adding to the causes of nuclear meltdowns at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.

More recently this year on Monday, January 21, 2019 six quakes struck the United States – one measuring a magnitude of 4.7. Four earthquakes have hit Alaska, one hit Oklahoma and another California. The previous night a Super Blood Moon dimly lit the night sky, turning the Moon red.

From a prophetic view “2,520 days from the Fukushima earthquake on March 11, 2011 was Feb. 2, 2018 which is 2,520 Days before Hanukkah Day 1 or Daniel’s Day 1335. On that day the Market closed at 25520, that was 25520 days back from that day to the Vernal Equinox 1948,” significant in forming of Israel as a modern nation-state. The NYSE Market also fell 666 points. [Dan Matson]. 11 The number 2,520 is not only significant
in Biblical Prophecy, and recent earthquakes, but also how the luni-solar cycles form the basis of the 1260 year period, which when doubled gives us 2,520. Every 1260 years
the Sun and Moon return, within less than 1/2 a degree, to the same point in the sky precisely on the ecliptic, within an hour of each other. If we subtract 1260 from 2300 we get 1040 which is a long-awaited solar-lunar cycle that harmonizes all 3 measurements: the Year, Month and Day“ in a near-imperceptible error” of (.11 of a day). 12

In his book The Witness of the Stars, E.W Bullinger, in his discussion of the Saros:
he shows the periods of Jerusalem under the Gentiles in two 1260 years cycles, totaling 2520 years. 13 He depicts the domains of Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece as 594 years, and the Roman Empire’s dominion of Jerusalem at 666 years; totaling 1260 years. Both of these periods are calculated in eclipse cycles. The 2nd 1260 year period consists of the Mohammedan conquest of Jerusalem that began in 636-37 AD. 14

“Saros cycles breakdown into two cycles, one of 666 years and the other of 594 years totaling 1260 years. We know that 1260 years is a soli-lunar cycle, so exact that its epact or remainder is only 6 hours. Bullinger stresses not only these aspects of the 1260 year period but also its double-2520 years. 15 E.W. Bullinger believed that these 1260 year periods would foreshadow 1260 day periods in the end-times,
when the final Abomination of Desolation was to be fulfilled, before and during
the Great Tribulation. [2 Thess. 2:1-3].

The breakdown of the 1260 year period pairs the number of the beast as a multiple of the 18 year eclipse [Saros] cycle; since 1260 years is 18, 70-year eclipse cycles [6 + 6 + 6 such cycles] as seen below.

18 x 37 = 666 years, added to
18 x 33 = 594 years
————————-
18 x 70 = 1260 years
totaling = 70 Saros cycles. 16

As we include the conversion rate of Solar and Lunar cycles with not only the calendar year but also earthquakes in the earth’s crust and the financial markets, according to these cycles marking Biblical Prophecy, from the books of Daniel and Revelation, we gain a panoramic view of Biblical history and an
incisive view of end-times prophecy, related to the activities of the Anti-Christ
and his final desolation of the Temple at Jerusalem.

As we realize that Bible Prophecy numbers like 1260, 2520 and 666 to mention a few, are actual solar and lunar eclipse cycles far more accurate than the Metonic or Saros cycles, written into ancient Bible Prophecies of the Old Testament, we can see how far in advance Biblical Astronomical knowledge is ahead of science in human history.

According to Robert Bast; “I listed every earthquake measuring greater than 6.5 in magnitude since 1973 – which is as far back as the USGS records reliably go – and checked them against every lunar and solar eclipse for the same period.” 17.

The study found only a slight increase in earthquakes around solar eclipses. But for lunar eclipses – when the Sun and Moon pull on our planet from opposite directions – the odds of a major earthquake are double. Earthquakes of 7.5 magnitude or greater occur on average every 73.8 days. Within one day of a lunar eclipse, the average drops down to just one in every 33 of those days. Lesser earthquakes also occur substantially more frequently.

This research does not mean that there will definitely be an earthquake every time there is a lunar eclipse. But it does mean that a large magnitude earthquake is about 50% more likely to occur, and a Mag. 7.5+ perhaps more than twice as likely to occur within one day. Therefore the gravitational tug-of-war, with the Sun pulling us from one direction, and the Moon from the opposite direction, is a definite factor.

As we can see in the current period between the July 2nd eclipse and the July 16th-17th the earthquake activity has captivated the attention of many. This requires further observation but for those with Scriptural and spiritual perception there is more going on than just a few stray eclipses and quakes.
