The Modern Blood Moon Tetrads and the Mars-Spica Triple Conjunctions

The Modern Blood Moon Tetrads and the Mars-Spica Triple Conjunctions

As we continue our review of the heavenly signs surrounding the replay of the Rev. 12 wonder, Part 1 of this review focused on the Triple Conjunction of Jupiter-Spica in Virgo. This post will feature the Mars-Spica triple unions in Virgo, that began in the Spring of 2014. Since we did not initiate our Blood Moon Blog until July of 2014, we did not provide the in-depth coverage of the first signs of the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad, as we have since. This Blog post will help rectify that oversight. First however, we need to give some added context to the backdrop of the Rev. 12 sign in light of the Celestial Sphinx. As we saw in Part 1 of this study, heavenly signs in Virgo and Leo require extra attention since they embody the alpha and omega constellations of the Mazzaroth, the Hebrew Zodiac. Virgo’s seasonal position in the skies in relation to the Harvest seasons and feasts of the Hebrew Calendar speak volumes to us, and was something the faithful of Israel paid attention to in light of the OT Book of Ruth below.

God’s plan of redemption was structured around the feasts of the Hebrew Calendar illustrating future events in Bible prophecy. The better we understand how these feasts are fulfilled in the ministry of Christ as ProphetPriest and King, the fuller our grasp will be of the end-times we are living in. The Feast of Unleavened Bread shows the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the first-fruits from the dead, [I Cor. 15:20-23]. The wheat harvest of the Feast of Pentecost aligns with the giving of the holy spirit on the Day of Pentecost, when the apostles and believers first spoke in tongues. The Feast of Tabernacles depicts the resurrection of the just and unjust, in the harvest at the end of the world.1 This was highlighted by the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad especially in the Blood Moons during the Feast of Tabernacles of both years, emphasized during the Jubilee year of 2015.

There were 7 weeks of counting, that linked Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread with Pentecost. At the time of the first Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread, Israel left the bondage of Egypt. A major transition point during the Exodus was the giving of the Law at Sinai, to which Pentecost became linked. The last Passover embodied in Jesus Christ symbolizes not only Israel’s Exodus from Egypt, but the Church’s Exodus from death and bondage in the OT Law. The current Blood Moon Tetrad of 20142015, conspicuously marks the Passover feasts of both these years in the last Blood Moon Tetrad that will not occur again on Hebrew feasts or holy days, for another 500 years! Christ’s redeeming work led to Pentecost in 28 AD, when the new birth first became available, and the gift of holy spirit was poured out as prophesied by Joel [Joel 2:28-31], starting a new spiritual administration, the Age of GraceChrist was resurrected at the first harvest during the Feast of Unleavened Bread, as the first-fruits of the dead. At Pentecost in 28 AD, the believers were made a harvest, manifesting the first-fruits of the holy spirit as they spoke in tongues for the first time; [Rom. 8:23]. Believer’s in the Age of Grace having the first-fruits of the spirit, will meet Christ in the air in his victorious return for his Saints, gathering us together, [I Thess. 4:14-17]. Christians in the current end times are warned by a series of Blood Moon Tetrads, among other heavenly signs, leading to the last days prior to our gathering together unto the Lord. The final, and complete harvest will be at the return of Christ with his Saints, when the enemies of God are vanquished. God’s Word describes this and what follows as the harvest at the end of the world.2 [Matt. 13:38-39]

As the first-fruits from the dead, Jesus Christ is the crown of God’s spiritual harvest, being resurrected at the first harvest during the feast of Unleavened Bread. At the very time of offering the first-fruits according to Leviticus 23:10-11, Jesus Christ furnished himself as the first-fruits from the dead, the first in a long line of believers who will conquer death.

One aspect in the celestial relationship to these feasts is seen clearly in connection with the Book of Ruth. This short story in the OT Bible record holds great insight for our understanding of the Lord’s Feasts, as they relate to the 1st and second appearances of the Lord Jesus ChristRuth was a Gentile woman, of the Moabites, who by God’s Grace and Mercy was included in the Royal genealogy of King DavidRuth 2:11-12 records Boaz’ high opinion of Ruth and her reward, for her trust under the Hand of the God of Israel. Ruth came to Bethlehem with Naomi, at the start of the Barley harvest [Ruth 1:22 to 2:22], gleaning in the fields of Boaz to the end of the Barley and Wheat harvests, [Ruth 2:23]. Following this she obeys Naomi’s instruction to go to Boaz, activating her right of the eastern custom called kinsman redeemer. Since Boaz was part of Naomi’s family, and both Ruth and Naomi’s husbands had died, it became Boaz’ right to take Ruth in marriage, if a closer kinsman didn’t activate this right ahead of him. Ruth 3:9 shows how Ruth presented herself to Boaz and how he covered her with his cloak, signifying his acceptance and protection of her, in their resulting impending marriage.

As we consider the skies during this time of year in Israel, its instructive to realize Virgo’s position during this harvest season. When viewed historically, we find astronomers as early as Caesius, linking Virgo with Ruth gleaning in the fields of Boaz.3 Annually we find Virgo’s position mirroring the harvest seasons as follows. Virgo arises in the East during the Barley harvest and Wave Offering, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Virgo at Sunset on September 11th 3 BC, marking Christ’s Birth.

virgo at sunset on september 11th 3 bc

Virgo is at zenith, the highest point in the sky during early evening at the start of the Wheat harvest, during the Pentecost Feast. Finally, Virgo is setting in the early evening western skies of the latter harvest, during the Feast of Tabernacles. As we see in the graphic above, this matches Virgo’s position on the eve of September 11th, in 3 BC!4 We should be reminded that this was the period when the Sun was clothing Virgo, giving us a beautiful link to Boaz spreading his cloak over Ruth, as a figurative sign of his acceptance and protection of her. Since Boaz was part of the royal genealogy leading to the Christ, the Sun of Righteousness and the light of the world, enlightening Virgo is truly a beautiful celestial figure aligning with this Scriptural truth. It also embodies the Bride-groom [Ps. 19:5], as Christ, the light of the world clothing his Bride-Israel, a figure of the marriage supper of the Lamb, all foreshadowed in Boaz redeeming his kins-woman Ruth! This Marriage Supper of the Lamb will occur during the Feast of Tabernacles, while the latter harvest relates to the 14th day of this seventh month of Tishri.

Also, when the Gentile Ruth came to Bethlehem, the birthplace of both David and Jesus and was allowed by God’s Grace, to share in the Lord’s royal genealogy, she was a forerunner of the Gentile Magi who came to Nazareth as the first Gentiles to recognize the promised seed. Remember that it was his starJupiter in Virgo leading the Magi to Jerusalem, for their meeting with Herod in search of Jesus. The graphic below depicts, not only the 12 signs of the Hebrew Zodiac mosaic in the floor of this Hebrew Temple, as seen quartered in the four points of the compass or the Cardinal directions.

This perspective on the Book of Ruth gives us a panoramic view of the Biblical harvest feasts in light of the celestial events surrounding the birth of Christ. We can see that these harvest feasts were first addressed to Israel in the Old Testament, with important applications to the Blood Moon Tetrads in the Age of Grace marking the victorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. As we recognize Jesus Christ; the master key to unlocking God’s Word, both written in the heavens and in Scripture, our understanding of the majesty of God’s Word and Works to and for man, is enlightened at new levels of understanding. To establish this pattern we should also expect to see the pattern of these sacred feasts and holy days appointed by the Heavenly Father evident in the ministry of Christ to Israel.

The Seven Phases of the Ministry of Jesus Christ

The following teaching pertains to and documents the length of the ministry of Jesus Christ as a literal period of 70 weeks according to the prophecies of Daniel 9. If we look at the period of Christ’s Ministry on Earth during his first Advent, we must first realize that the length of his ministry could not be three years because he had to fulfill every jot and tittle of the OT Law or else he would  have left mankind un-redeemed, and our salvation incomplete. According to [Ex. 12:5Jesus as the embodiment of the Passover Lamb [Jn. 1:29, 36] had to be “lamb of the first year without spot or blemish,” so the length of his ministry could not exceed 2 years at the maximum! The following chart from Rev. Jon Nessle’s Seminar on The Lord Jesus Christ, 5 discloses the seven phases of Christ’s Ministry and the length of his ministry-just over a year. Many of these phases of Christ’s ministry were announced with audible words from heaven, like his baptism where the thunderous sonic boom saying ; “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” We have also added the links of these seven phases of Christ’s ministry to Israel with the Lord’s Feasts on the Hebrew Calendar.

The Seven Phases of Christ’s Ministry

Christ Titles                                                        Length              Ministry Events-Dates

Jesus Christ-Righteous                                  40 days             Baptism-Temptation

Jesus Christ-Evangelist                                 3 months          Ministry Inception

Jesus Christ-Apostle                                     3 months          Pentecost-Tishri 10

Jesus Christ-High Priest                               6 months          Tishri 10-Nisan 10

Jesus Christ our Passover                            7 days              Nisan 10-Resurrection

Jesus Christ-Firstborn                                  40 days             Resurrection-Ascension

Jesus Christ-Ascended One                         10 days            Ascension-Pentecost

The events above illustrate the opening of the Christ Administration, and capping off the OT
Law
with the Ministry of John the Baptist. In [Matt. 3:17] The Voice of God in an audible
mandate from heaven” decreed Jesus as “His Beloved Son.” This opened the ministry phase
of Christ the Righteous, at his baptism on Nisan 1/ Feb 16th, 27 AD marking his next 40 days
of temptation. During the 2nd phase of Christ’s ministry as the Evangelisthe called the 12
Apostles
and did his first Temple cleansing at PassoverNisan/14-21/27 AD. John 4:1 tells
us the “Pharisees heard that Jesus had gained and baptized more disciples than John,” also
during the 2nd phase of his ministry.6 Christ the Apostle is seen in the Sivan 13th Sabbath,
when he proclaimed the “acceptable year of the Lord” at Pentecost, [Isa. 61:1-2, Lk. 4:17-21].
Note that this “year” is in the singular, meaning the entire length of his ministry did not
exceed two years
, as verified by Christ and IsaiahJesus Christ the High Priest is seen
starting with Tishri 1  where he turns 30 years of age, becoming eligible for the Priesthood
for the first time, prior to the Feast of Tabernacles. In this phase of his ministry Jesus began
teaching his disciples about his coming sufferings and death, laying down his life as both the
High Priest and perfect Sacrifice. This phase was also marked by an audible mandate from
heaven
at the Mount of Transfiguration [Matt. 17:1-8]. Jesus Christ our Passover is seen
in his two entries into Jerusalem, the 2nd of which marked the day that the Passover Lamb
was selected
by the priests of Israel, Nisan 8-4/22/28 [Lk. 19:29-48]. The Apostle Paul
also refers to these aspects of Christ’s ministry phases as the Passover [I Cor. 5:7], and as the first-born from the dead once Christ is Resurrected, Nisan 17-5/1/28 to 6/10/28 [Col. 1:18]. With the Ascension of Christ leading to Pentecost, we see the birthday of the Church of the body of
Christ. This opens the Age of Grace in the book of Acts, with sounds from Heaven; [Acts 2:4]
and the Apostle Peter’s sermonsaving over 3000 new believers in their spiritual rebirth. Herein
we still reside today, as we look to the end of the Age of Grace climaxing with the Return of Christ
FOR his Saints,
[I Thess. 4:13-18]. 7

Thus the pattern of the Lord’s Feasts are all highlighted with major events and transitions in the 7 phases of Christ’s ministry of 70 weeks, as we expect to see this pattern established with the conclusion of the Age of Grace with more voices and sounds from Heaven when Christ returns FOR his Saints, [I Thess. 4:16]. These are the same Feasts of the Lord that have been highlighted by the Blood Moon Tetrads since the Ascension of Christ, culminating in the 2014-15 Blood Moon Tetrad, followed by the Solar and Lunar eclipses of 2016-2017 leading to the rewind of the Rev. 12 sign on 9-23-17 and the Hebrew feasts of 2017.

Illustration of Mars in our night sky.

A key aspect of the opening of the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad was the Mars-Spica triple conjunction in Virgo. This was based on the retrograde motion of Mars in Virgo’s womb, as seen above during which Mars passed Spica three times in Virgo, foreshadowing the triple conjunction of Jupiter-Spica in Virgo’s womb in 2017. The dates of this Mars-Spica triple conjunction in Virgo are as follows:

Mars-Spica #1: Feb 1st, 2014 in Virgo
Mars Spica #2: March 27th, 2014 in Virgo
Mars-Spica #3: June 13th, 2014 in Virgo

The opening Blood Moon of the 2014-2015 Tetrad took place on April 15th, 2014 marking the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread, between the second and third Mars-Spica unions. What is fascinating is that Mars in retrograde not only marks the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrads, but also the previous two Blood Moon Tetrads in 1949-50 and 1967-68!! In addition to this, the triple planetary conjunctions linked with the Mars’ retrograde also mark all three sets of modern Blood Moon Tetrads according to the pattern of the Celestial Sphinx as follows, in a reverse timeline:

Mars-Spica #1: Jan. 20th, 1967 in Virgo
Mars-Spica #2: Apr. 20th, 1967 in Virgo
Mars-Spica #3: July 4th, 1967 in Virgo

The Second 1967 Mars-Spica union took place 4 days before Passover. Here Mars-Michael the warrior arch-angel stands strong in battle against the Arab enemies of Israel, not only in the 6-day war, but also in the previous war for Israel’s independence, as seen at the Mars-Regulus triple conjunction in Leo in 1947-48′. Israeli military forces recaptured Jerusalem and the Temple Mount on June 7th, 1967, three days after the third Mars-Spica union in Virgo.

The first modern Blood Moon Tetrad was highlighted by a Mars-Regulus Triple union in Leo as follows:

Mars-Regulus #1: Nov. 28th, 1947 in Leo
Mars-Regulus #2: Feb. 18th, 1948 in Leo
Mars-Regulus #3: May 19th, 1948 in Leo

The Third Mars-Regulus union took place 5 days after Israel’s Declaration of Independence on May 14th 1948.

Image result for 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad images

The first Mars retrograde marked the first modern Blood Moon Tetrad in 1947-48 in Leo, with a Mars-Regulus triple conjunction. The following 2 Mars retrogrades marked the next two Blood Moon Tetrads in Virgo, with 2 sets of triple planetary conjunctions of Mars-Spica. Here we find an emphasis on the Alpha and Omega signs of the Hebrew Mazzaroth as seen in the Celestial Sphinx signs leading to the replay of the Rev. 12 sign in Virgo.

In this study we have reviewed the pattern of the Lord’s Feasts, highlighted with major events and transitions in the 7 phases of Christ’s ministry of 70 weeks. We have also witnessed how the signs of the Celestial Sphinx in Virgo and Leo at both the birth of Christ, and during the modern day Blood Moon Tetrads, have been marked with triple planetary conjunctions of Jupiter and Mars resulting from these planetary retrogrades as we have noted previously in the aspects of the Celestial Prelude. In our next blog we will study some added triple conjunctions that emphasize this message even more! The Heavenly Father is certainly working overtime to get our attention regarding the significance of our current times. As Ministers of Reconciliation, we can all speak the wonderful words of Christ’s redemption truths that have been marked so clearly both in God’s Word, and in the heavens!!

The Sept. 23rd, 2017 Heavenly Sign of Rev. 12 in Teshuvah-The Season of Repentance

History of Biblical Astronomy

The Sept. 23rd, 2017 Heavenly Sign of Rev. 12 in Teshuvah-The Season of Repentance

As a follow-up to our June blog post on the August 21st Total Solar Eclipse we will look further into the association of this exciting Solar Eclipse with the upcoming Rev. 12 celestial sign on Sept. 23rd, 2017.  The Total Solar Eclipse was a heavenly spectacle that drew the attention of a national US audience, as they followed it racing across the country, starting in Oregon on the Pacific and exiting S. Carolina to the Atlantic. This once- in-a-century celestial event did not disappoint as mostly clear skies prevailed over 2/3rds of the US mainland, and even areas with cloud cover allowed the thronging crowds openings to view the key aspects of totality during the solar eclipse.

As we recognize the Biblical significance of the signs in the Heavens in the late summer of 2017, our understanding is increasingly enlightened as we notice the history behind the calendar of Israel with the origin of its feasts and holy days. Much greater attention has been focused on the Hebrew Feasts over the last few years due to the Blood Moon Tetrads of 2014-2015, as a series of Blood Moon Lunar and Solar eclipses fell on these holy days drawing the world’s attention to their importance. Fewer realized that this phenomena continued into 2016, which was missed by most due to the confusion of the modern Calendar of Israel with followers using mathematical formulas instead of original Biblical and agricultural determinants, for adding the extra 13th month of Adar. These practices include the sighting of the New Moon and the ripeness of Aviv Barley.  The state of the barley requires verification at the end of the 12th month of the Hebrew Calendar. If the barley has not ripened enough, then another month [Second Adar] must be added and the barley checked again at the end of the 13th monthIf the barley is Aviv at this time, then the next New Moon becomes the “New Moon of Aviv.” This was the situation in the Spring of 2016, as enough barley was ripe in Israel on March 9th, coinciding with a New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse. This allowed March 9th-to link with Nisan 1, in the sacred Hebrew calendar, followed by Passover two weeks later on March 23rd, aligning with a Full Moon Penumbral lunar eclipse! This provided two more solar and lunar eclipses on Hebrew holy days in the Spring, which were followed by two added eclipses in the late Summer/Fall of 2016, making a total of 6 Lunar Eclipses on Hebrew Feast days in three consecutive years leading into 2017.

This convergence of celestial alignments within the Lunar Eclipse Sextet from 2014-2016 with the Total Solar eclipse of August 21st, 2017, shows a series of Solar and Lunar eclipses on sacred feasts culminating in the Season of Repentance on the Hebrew Calendar in 2017. This highlights the importance of the timing of the Total Solar Eclipse on 21st August 2017 in relation to the 1st day in the month Elul, marking 40 days of Repentance to prepare for Yom Kippur- or the Day of Atonement.

The Season of Repentance also links historically not only to the JupiterVenus unions framing the birth of Christ, but also to current events of the Total Solar eclipse on August 21st, and the celestial signs of Rev. 12 on Sept. 23rd, that are also framed by Jupiter-Venus unions in 2017, between 2/26 and 11/13.

The Month of Elul serves as spiritual preparation for the High Feasts of Rosh Hashannah on Tishri 1, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement on Tishri 10. These 40 days from Elul 1 to Yom Kippur are historically related to Moses’ multiple ascents of Mt. Sinai where he spoke with God and received the 10 Commandments. However, when Moses descended into Israel’s camp, he found them committing the sin of the Golden Calf idolatry, where upon in his wrath, Moses smashed the original Tablet of Commandments. The Season of Repentance came about as a result of 40 days of Israel asking the Heavenly Father’s forgiveness in prayer for their grievous sin. This was followed by another 40 days where Moses ascended Mt. Sinai again to God, Who gave him a new set of Tablets with His Commandments. In the Old Testament Israel conducted sacrifices in the Tabernacle and Temple once annually, but only the High Priest was allowed in the Holy of the Holies with an offering for all of Israel. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ is our Anointed High Priest, after the order of Melchizedek, who laid down his life as the perfect sacrifice in an everlasting Priesthood once and for all, setting the precedent for our spiritual new birth in Christ.

This Season of Repentance or Teshuvah is not only critical for Israel, but for the Gentile Christian Church also, because even though we enjoy salvation wholeness in our spiritual rebirth in Christ, our continued repentance is required because we still break fellowship with God, as we lack the perfection of His Glory. Our continued striving in this life will only be complete once Christ returns to Gather Together the Messianic Jews and the Church of Christian Believers in His spiritual Body.  [Rom. 8:28-30, 12:1-2, Cor. 5:17]

The 27th Psalm has always been linked as central to the Season of Teshuvah in Israel.

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

The first phrase of this verse links the Light of the Lord [Jehovah] with His Salvation. The Torah has linked the light of Jehovah here with Rosh Hashannah, and Tishri 1. It has also tied the Salvation of Elohim together with Tishri 10 and The Day of Atonement.

Psalm 27:4-5
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

The burning desire of the Psalmist is to “dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life.” In doing so God hides us in “the secret of his tabernacle,” and under the shadow of God’s wing no evil can touch us. This verse has been linked to the Feast of Tabernacles which is the 3rd Fall feast following those of Psalm 27:1 above. Thus we
see how the Season of Repentance sets the theme for the Fall feasts on the calendar of Israel. The heart of repentance before God is seeking His Face as it says in verses 7-9.

Image result for teshuvah images

Psalm 27:7-9
Hear, O Lord, [Jehovah] when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer meWhen thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God [Elohim] of my salvation.

When we seek God in repentance we not only turn away from evil, but we turn towards God. In doing so we replace our evil habits of the flesh with, the principles of walking in the light as He is the Light, [1 Jn. 1:7]. Thus we forsake the old man and put on the new, [Rom. 6:6, 2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 4:22, Col. 3:9] growing closer to God in Christ each day. When this becomes our delight then God gives us the true desires of our heart. This is when our righteousness truly is illuminated-shining forth for all to see.

Psalm 37: 4-6
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Since repentance can only exist after the entrance of sin, a primary purpose for God’s Creation of mankind is Repentance. This is man returning to God, turning away from evil, so that God can return to man. In God’s foreknowledge He foresaw the fall of creation and He knew mankind would sin and have need of a Savior from sin. So God allowed the sinner to be broken so he could of his own freewill, return to God’s light via His plan and purpose of salvation. This is a universal need since all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. 3 [Rom. 3:23, 512]

A month after, the Total Solar Eclipse we find during the “Days of Awe” from Rosh Hashannah on Tishri 1 to Yom Kippur on Tishri 10, a confirmation of celestial events as described in Revelation 12. As we consider the Great Sign of Revelation 12, on Sept. 23rd, 2017– a 400 day [40 x 10] link was found to Yom Kippur 2017 via unions of Jupiter-Venus, as seen below. But, the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse of August 21st, 2017, is 40 days before Yom Kippur 2017, falling on Sept. 30th. The Total Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017 starts this traditional 40 day Season of Teshuvah. The Season of Repentance is the call to repent before the Day of the Lord and the last 10 days from Tishri 1-10 are High Holy Days.

As we saw in our June blog post, we saw the Biblical history of a prior Teshuvah Eclipse involving the Prophet Jonah, during his journey to Nineveh. The purpose of Jonah’s prophecy is to show the sovereignty of God at work in the personal life of Jonah, and his concern not only for His own people, but also for those of Nineveh to help them a avert national catastrophe. There are four steps to the process of Repentance that we find both with Jonah and the Ninevites in this record. The Chart below indicates the presence of these four steps first with Jonah first and then with the people of Nineveh.

1. Forsake Sin:  [Jon. 2:1-2]   Nineveh [Jon. 3:5]

2. Regret the Breach  [Jon. 2:3-7]   Nineveh [Jon. 3:6]

3. Confess and make amends  [Jon. 2:8-10]  Nineveh [Jon. 3:7-8]

4. Accept forgiveness, move with God [Jon. 3:1-3]  Nineveh [Jon. 3:9-10]

Jesus employed the repentance of the Ninevites to rebuke the Pharisees, thereby illustrating the hardness of the Pharisees’ hearts and their unwillingness to repent (Matt. 12:38-41; Luke 11:29-32). The heathen city of Nineveh repented at the preaching of a reluctant prophet, but the Pharisees would not repent at the preaching of the greatest of all prophets, in spite of overwhelming evidence that He was their Lord and Messiah.

Elul is the month of repentance on the Jewish calendar, the time of turning in the tithes to the storehouse. In the 30 days prior to Tishri 1, the day of Christ’s birth in 3 BC, the shofar was blown each day except the Sabbath in preparation for Hebrew New Years day. The first shofar blast began with a long single tone in memory of the coronation of the King. This is noteworthy not only because all the Kings of Israel counted their reigns from Tishri 1, regardless of when their reigns began, but this is also a key with the birth of Christ whose celestial coronation was recognized with the first of 3 Jupiter-Regulus conjunctions starting Sept. 14th, 3 days after his birth on Sept. 11th, 3 BC. As we may recall it was by following the King Planet Jupiter that the Magi were led to the Christ child in December of 2 BC.

The proximity of this year’s August 21st total solar eclipse relating to the “Rev 12 sign” on 23rd September, 2017, demands our attention. This marks the culmination of an astronomical event which began on November 20, 2016, when Jupiter (the King planet & Sceptre) entered into the body of the constellation Virgo. Due its retrograde motion, Jupiter spends 9.5 months in the“womb” of Virgo, till September 23rd, after which it will be “birthed” by exiting with the Sun rising directly behind the constellation Virgo, [on 9/9/17] with the Moon at her feet and a crown of twelve stars above her head. Biblically, a Sceptre can also be symbolic of person. In Num. 24: 17, we read;

”I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a star shall come out of Jacob, and a sceptre shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the forehead of Moab and break down all the sons of Seth.”

That Sceptre embodies the prophesied return of the Promised Seed, who came first over 1,900 years ago and by his sacrifice, provided redemption for all mankind. All who believe in Him, and follow Him, have a pathway back to God, Who alone is able to deliver us. Our web-study on the General Sign of the Celestial Prelude  covers this Numbers 24 record regarding this Sceptre, in the context of the heavenly signs surrounding the birth of Christ. It also provides perspective on the birthing of Jupiter from Virgo’s womb on Sept. 9th 2017. When Israel rejected the King-Jesus Christ, they also rejected his Kingdom, which has been in abeyance ever since awaiting the return of the King, which will happen in two phases. First Jesus will return FOR his Saints [1 Thess. 4:13-18] and take his Church to the right hand of the Father. Then Jesus will return WITH his Saints [Rev. 19:11-21] to conquer and vanquish the evil ones that remain on the earth.

With this impressive and breathtaking parade of celestial signs including Blood Moon Tetrads, a Lunar Eclipse Sextet, numerous Planetary Conjunctions and Alignments, prophesied celestial signs marking the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Total Solar Eclipses, all linked to High Feast and Holy days of the Hebrew Calendar, the Almighty has been screaming to get our attention that its high time to awaken, and Give God His due!!

We have also pointed out in the case of Nineveh that they experienced pervasive civil unrest and at least 2 plagues leading up to the Teshuvah Eclipse [Bur-Sagale Eclipse] that took place OVER NINEVEH on June 15th, 763 BC to kick off the 40 day Season of Repentance, [Jonah 3:4].  This has been documented in the Assyrian Eponym Canon as a solar eclipse identified correctly with the Total Solar Eclipse that occurred in 763 BC, confirmed by other astronomical observations from the same period. 2

With the recent August 21st Eclipse whose visibility was confined to the US mainland, Solar Eclipses [generally understood as signs for the Gentile world] we in the US have already seen flooding of historic proportions as a result of Hurricane Harvey, during the first week of Teshuvah 2017! Perhaps a National Repentance is in order from top to bottom, as we saw in ancient Nineveh, where even the livestock was covered in sackcloth and ashes; [Jon. 3:8], because with all the evil going on in our country, which is plain for all to see, we certainly need to turn back to the Heavenly Father in a “yuge” way! The heart of a national repentance is expressed in Hosea 14.

Hosea 14

14:1 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. Asshur will not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from himI will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they will revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof will be as the wine of Lebanon.

Ephraim will say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors will fall therein.

Certainly if we return to the Lord, He will receive us graciously. Tis’ the Season to turn away from evil and turn towards God, and it all starts with each of us individually!!

*Please be aware that we are not predicting the end of the world. Nor are we predicting a date for “the rapture” or the second coming of Christ! We do see and believe that God is communicating a message through His celestial signs about the last days and general proximity of the gathering of the Church and Christ’s return.  We believe that these prophetic events could occur soon, but only God knows the day and hour on which they will occur.

Biblical Astronomy of the August 21st Total Solar Eclipse-America Repent!

History of Biblical Astronomy

Biblical Astronomy of the August 21st Total Solar Eclipse-America Repent!

On Aug. 21, 2017, something is going to happen in the United States that has not happened since 1918. This Total Solar Eclipse event will unfold across America on August 21, crossing parts of 14 US states. Both professional and amateur Astronomers have been excited about the upcoming Pan-American Total Solar Eclipse on August 21 because it is very rare.

Figure 1. Paths of Two Total Solar Eclipses in 2017 and 2024 over North America

On that date, a Total Solar Eclipse will be visible all the way from the east coast to the west coast. Incredibly, another rare solar eclipse of this nature will move across the country just seven years later in 2024. The projected courses of these two solar eclipses form a giant “X” across the continental United States. In the Scriptures, Jesus told us that “there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon and in the stars” just prior to His return, causing many to wonder what this giant “X” of solar eclipses might mean. Some believe these two eclipses scheduled to be visible across the United States in 2017 and 2024, could be the starting and climax signs marking a seven-year period of tribulations spoken of in the Book of Revelation. These are rare events, which is why it is so extraordinary that another solar eclipse will be visible in large portions of the nation just seven years later in 2024. A solar eclipse only happens at New Moon. The Moon has to be between the Sun and Earth for a solar eclipse to occur. August 21, 2017 corresponds with the 29th day of the month of Av on the Hebrew calendar. On this day in the Hebrew year 2448, Moses carved the second set of Tablets as recorded in [Ex. 34:4]

These Solar eclipses could serve as a warning of impending judgments, since the crossing point of these eclipses is very near to the New Madrid fault zone. The New Madrid fault zone is six times larger than the San Andreas fault zone in California and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. Back in 1811 and 1812, a series of very devastating earthquakes along the New Madrid fault zone opened some deep fissures in the ground, caused the Mississippi River to run backwards in some places, and were reportedly felt as far away as Washington D.C. and Boston. They were the strongest earthquakes ever recorded east of the Rocky Mountains, and the heart of this “X” falls not only closest to its place of longest duration of totality, but also precisely in the area where we would expect such an earthquake. This does not mean these two solar eclipses are predicting an earthquake event, but it could serve as a warning for the U.S. to repent and turn to God, reminding us of the Day of Christ’s crucifixion darkness accompanied by a great earthquake.

Pastor Mark Biltz of Blood Moons fame, points out the similarity in these modern Solar eclipses to the setting in ancient Nineveh, where the Prophet Jonah was called to preach repentance.

Biltz said: “Just look at the biblical pattern. Many know the story of Jonah and Nineveh from the Bible, but not the historical background events as to what had already transpired, and why they repented. In 765 B.C., a plague broke out in Nineveh where even the king was not able to go out to war, as was custom. This was followed by a civil war and then another plague!”

The first plague Biltz refers to here took place in 765, followed by the civil war that started in 763, the same year as the eclipse.

“An archaeological find of cuneiform tablets was uncovered in the 19th century describing events in Nineveh. A famous eclipse mentioned in the tablets was known as the Bur-Sagale eclipse, which is verified by NASA as occurring on June 15, 763 BC. The path of totality passed right over Nineveh. God had declared the Sun and the Moon were for signs, and now the Ninevites saw evidence of God’s judgment coming even before Jonah arrived later. When Jonah arrived, they were ripe for repentance.”1

We know that the Prophet Jonah ministered during the reign of King Ashur-Dan III because the Bible mentions him in [2 Kings 14:23-5], placing his ministry during the reign of King Jeroboam II of Israel. Since this solar eclipse was a most noteworthy highlight occurring in the reign of Ashur-Dan III, certain theologians suggest that the Bur-Sagle eclipse was a primary reason that the people of Nineveh were so ready to repent upon hearing Jonah’s message of judgment. “According to E.R. Thiele’s chronology, Jeroboam II was sole ruler of Israel between the years 782-753 BC, while Ashur-Dan III was king of Assyria between 772-755 BC.” Jonah’s entry into Nineveh may have even coincided with this eclipse. 2

The purpose of Jonah’s prophecy is to show the sovereignty of God at work in the life of an individual (the prophet Jonah, and his concern for His own people and that the way to avert national catastrophe is a concentrated outreach effort to all people). Jonah’s theme is God’s mercy to the individual (Jonah, a Jew), a group (the heathen sailors), the heathen world power (Assyria, a Gentile nation), and His people (Israel).

Jesus employed the repentance of the Ninevites to rebuke the Pharisees, thereby illustrating the hardness of the Pharisees’ hearts and their unwillingness to repent (Matt. 12:38-41; Luke 11:29-32). The heathen city of Nineveh repented at the preaching of a reluctant prophet, but the Pharisees would not repent at the preaching of the greatest of all prophets, in spite of overwhelming evidence that He was actually their Lord and Messiah. Jonah is a picture of Israel, who was chosen and commissioned by God to be His witness (Isa. 43:10-12; 44:8), who rebelled against His will (Exodus 32:1-4; Judges 2:11-19; Ezek. 6:1-5; Mark 7:6-9), but was miraculously preserved by God through centuries of exile and dispersion to finally preach His truth; (Jer. 30:11; 31:35-37; Hosea 3:3-5; Rev. 7:1-8; 14:1-3).

As we review the context of this total solar eclipse on August 21st, 2017 we find the following dates, shown with the Regulus unions in Leo, and the Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in Virgo in 2016-2017:

July 30th, 2016 Mercury-Regulus Conjunction
Aug. 5th, 2016 Venus-Regulus Conjunction
Aug. 26-27th, 2016 Jupiter-Venus conjunction [Jupiter enters Virgo]
Feb. 26th, 2017 Jupiter-Venus conjunction
August 21st, 2017 Total Solar Eclipse in Leo @ Regulus
Sept. 23rd, 2017 [Virgo clothed
with the Sun/Moon @ feet]-Rev. 12:1-2
Sept. 30th Yom Kippur-Day of Atonement

Nov. 13th, 2017 Jupiter-Venus conjunction

The two brightest planets –Venus and Jupiter –teamed up to provide the closest planetary conjunction of 2014, which has been the closest Venus-Jupiter union during the six Lunar Eclipses of 2014-2016, until August 27, 2016, when Jupiter entered Virgo eventually to be “birthed” in 2017. This Venus-Jupiter union on August 27, saw these two planets three times closer than during their 2015 union when they were separated by only 1/3 of a degree.

This comparison of celestial alignments within the Lunar Eclipse Sextet from 2014-2016 with the Total Solar eclipse of August 21st, 2017 shows a series of solar and lunar eclipses on sacred feasts of the Hebrew Calendar. This highlights the importance of the timing of the eclipse on 21st August 2017 in relation to the 1st Elul, marking a 40-day Season of Repentance to Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. As we find below, this Season of Repentance also relates to the JupiterVenus unions framing Christ’s birth. As we can see above, the celestial signs of Rev. 12 on Sept. 23rd, and the Total Solar eclipse on August 21st are also framed by Jupiter-Venus unions in 2017, between 2/26 and 11/13.

Figure 2. August 15th, 2016 Jupiter-Mercury-Venus triangular union in Leo. 3

ven_jup_160815

There was also a 1 degree Triangular massing of Jupiter-Venus, Mars in Leo on October 28th, 2015, which is preceded earlier in the month in a planetary alignment with Regulus in Leo, [see Fig. 3 below]. This is significant due to the resemblance again of the Rev. 12 heavenly sign, where the WomanVirgo is crowned with 12 stars, consisting of the 9 fixed stars in Leo, combined with the planets Jupiter, Venus and Mars, forming the Crown of 12 stars over Virgo’s head. This alignment set the stage for the Feast of Tabernacles week, marked by the Super Blood Moon on Sept. 28th, 2015, closing out the Blood Moon Tetrad. A very similar planetary alignment will be seen again in Sept. of 2017, involving the same players except Mercury will replace Jupiter in Leo, while Jupiter is birthed in Virgo. These heavenly signs of the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad depicted key celestial fore-shadowing 2 years before the 2017 birthing of Jupiter in Virgo. In fact, these celestial alignments and conjunctions which were so prominently associated with the Blood Moon Tetrad starting in 2014, have nearly been repeated with the Solar and Lunar eclipses on Hebrew feast and Holy days in 2016, linking the heavenly signs of the last three years on the Hebrew Calendar together leading to the celestial signs of 2017.

Figure 3. Planetary Alignment in Leo, October 3rd, 2015

As there were 3 Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions marking the Rev. 12 birth signs of Christ in 3-2 BC, so this triple alignment of Jupiter-Mars, & Venus in Leo with Regulus, reflects a similar spiritual light in the context of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014–2015. In fact the Rev. 12 heavenly sign: the [Sun clothing Virgo with the Crescent Moon at her feet] on September 17th, 2015 was announced by Mercury-Gabriel located just outside the womb area of Virgo, united with Spica/Al Zimach, on this day, two years ahead of the rewind of the Great Wonder in Heaven, on Sept. 23rd 2017! The additional heavenly signs involving Jupiter-Venus in the next 2 years, leading up to the birthing of Jupiter in retrograde motion in Virgo’s womb, establish this rewind of heavenly signs in 2017.

As we saw the triple conjunction of Jupiter and Venus in 2015-17 mirror the triple conjunction of Jupiter and Venus both in 3-2 BC during the birth of Christ, we find Venus also united with Regulus and Mercury in 2016. Here the Archangel Gabriel announces the arrival of Regulus, the King star and brightest star in Leo, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, [Rev. 5:5].

On August 12th, 3 BC, the first Jupiter-Venus union in Leo framing the birth of Christ took place, which was Elul 1 on the Hebrew Calendar, starting the Season of Repentance. Jesus was born Sept. 11th the following month, or Tishri 1-Hebrew New Years Day. Yom Kippur was Tishri 10 or Sept. 19th that year, making 40 days to the Day of Atonement, from Elul 1.

In the Great Sign of Revelation 12, a 400 day link was found to Yom Kippur 2017 via a conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on August 27, 2016. However, when we note the Total Solar Eclipse of August 21, 2017, this eclipse is 40 days before Yom Kippur 2017, which is on September 30. Before the modern Hebrew calendar, from Elul 1 till the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) was 40 days, known as the Season of Repentance.  The total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 begins this traditional 40 day Season of Repentance. The Season of Repentance is the call to repent before the Day of the Lord. Jewish tradition says those who are written in the Book of Life will be resurrected on the Feast of TrumpetsElul is the month of repentance in the Jewish calendar, the time of turning in all the tithes to the storehouse. A month later, we find during the Days of Awe from Rosh Hashanah on Tishri 1 and Yom Kippur on Tishri 10, followed by a confirmation of celestial events as described in Revelation 12.

The proximity of this year’s August 21st total solar eclipse relating to theRev 12 signon 23rd September, 2017, is noteworthy. This date marks the culmination of an astronomical event which began on 20th November 20, 2016, when Jupiter (the King planet) entered into the body of the constellation Virgo. Due its retrograde motion, Jupiter spends 9.5 months in the “womb” of Virgo, until 23rd September, after which it will be “birthed” by exiting with the Sun rising directly behind the constellation Virgo, with the Moon at her feet and a crown of twelve stars (the nine stars of the constellation Leo, together with the planets Mercury, Venus and Mars).

Rev. 12:1-2
‘A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth.’

Figure 4. below depicts the moment of the Solar eclipse at the heart of Leo next to Regulus. Thirty days later Venus conjuncts with Regulus prior the Feast of Trumpets. The previous total solar eclipse just before Elul 1 that last introduced a Season of Repentance occurred on August 11, 1999. But only the 2017 eclipse is next to Regulus. Since the rebirth of Israel in 1948, no other total solar eclipse has occured next to Regulus (the King star) opening the Season of Repentance. If God’s people are to return to the heart of fellowship with their Maker, we must return to the heart of fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ first, our Intercessor and Mediator, [Rom. 8:34, I Tim. 2:5, I Jn. 1:3].

From the Total Solar Eclipse on Aug. 21st, the Moon proceeds to the cover the face of the brightest star on the eclipticRegulus the heart of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, on the same day it eclipses the light of the Sun. This Lunar Occultation of Regulus is part of a series, the present of which began on December 18, 2016, and will end on April 24, 2018. Refer to the section below for more info on this interesting lunar cycle. “Now fast-forward to another solar eclipse on August 21, but this time in 1914,” Biltz said. “This is the first day of the month of Elul, which began the month of repentance.’ The first of Elul is when Jonah began prophesying for 40 days. Just before the eclipse, we see on June 28th, 1914, through the month of August, the events of World War 1 begin! The path of totality of this eclipse was over Eastern Europe and the Ottoman Empire or Middle East, including Nineveh again. This foretold the destruction of the Ottoman Empire in World War I.

Biltz suggests such cataclysms may be in store for the United States, especially given the timing of the event.

“Now, this Aug 21, 2017, we have a total solar eclipse going over the United States,” he noted. “This is again at the beginning the month of repentance on the first of Elul! Could God be giving us a warning that we need to repent or judgment will be coming to the United States? The timing of this celestial sign and its relation to the Rev. 12 sign certainly attracts our attention, and should provide a serious warning of a much needed national spiritual course correction!

“We also find seven years later there will be another total solar eclipse running from south to the northeast across the United States on April 8, 2024, with St. Louis in the cross-hairs between the two eclipses, [Fig. 1]. April 8 is significant because it is the anniversary of the dedication of Moses tabernacle, when God reasserted Himself into the affairs of men with His glory coming to earth.” This could link to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ with his Saints in judgment to put down the darkness and bind the enemy for a thousand years.

If the American eclipse of 21st August, 2017 is indeed part of a “sign of Jonah” sequence related to this event, serving as a prophetic warning to the people of America, it is logical to apply the words of the Prophet Jonah himself:

[Jon 3:1-10] Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time: Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”

Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it. Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackclothWhen Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink. But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.” 10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, He relented and did not bring on them the destruction He had threatened.

Image result for the Prophet Jonah images

Verse 3 tells us how great and large Nineveh was. Both Herodotus and Diodorus Siculus say it was 60 miles in circuit and twenty miles across. Verse 4 says during his first day’s journey into the city that in 40 more days it would be overthrown. It is interesting that this 40 day period links to the Season of Repentance ending on the day of Atonement. The response of the people was universal, from the King to the lowest. The combined witness of plagues, civil war, the eclipse and the Prophet Jonah caused every soul in the city to repent.

When the eclipse hits the entire US mainland from coast to coast for the first time since the start of WW1 perhaps the American nation will have had enough of the current division and social unrest to turn their hearts back to God. From the time of this writing to the August 21st Total Solar Eclipse is only about two months to act on a call to repentance for America. It is worth pointing out that exactly 40 days after the date of 21st August is Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. We have a unique opening to learn an especially important lesson for all people to “learn from Biblical and celestial history,” and partake in an urgent movement for repentance to the Almighty.

This is a time for believers to urgently unite in fasting and prayer for repentance in our nation!

Cycles of the Lunar Occultation of Regulus 5

Regulus is known as the heart of the Lion in Leo. It’s the only first-magnitude star – that is, the only bright star among all the sky’s brightest stars – to sit almost exactly on the ecliptic or sun’s yearly path in front of the constellations of the zodiac.

The Moon in its monthly journey around Earth moves more or less along the ecliptic, too. It can swing anywhere from 5o north to 5o south of the star Regulus. In cycles of about 9 years, however, the Moon actually occults – passes directly in front of – Regulus once a month for a period of about one and one-half years. For instance, the last lunar Occultation series began January 7, 2007, ending May 12, 2008, staging a total of 19 occultations. Regulus-the King Star symbolizes the royal throne of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, as seen in Psalm 89.

Image result for his throne as the Sun before me images
Psalm 89:34-37
34 My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.
35 Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:
36 His seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me;
37 It shall be established forever like the Moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

The present occulation series began on December 18, 2016, and will end on April 24, 2018. Once again, there will be a total of 19 occultations in the series. But to see any lunar occultation of Regulus, you have to be on the right spot on Earth. This occultation occurs shortly after the total solar eclipse (see the following entry) spanning the contiguous United States just to the north. Though the event is not observable due to its proximity to the Sun,

The list of dates for this Occultation series are as follows: 5

Exactly midway through the occultation series – on August 21, 2017 – the Moon actually occults Regulus on the same date that the moon totally eclipsed the sun.

How’s that for precision in the Creator’s divine system of celestial mechanics of Biblical Astronomy! How does this relate to the birth of Christ? In previous blog posts we have noted the importance of Jupiter’s Retrograde motion relating to the Signs of the Celestial Prelude.

In November of 3 BC, Jupiter reached its first stopping point in retrograde motion relating to Christ’s birth. Jupiter the king planet had already exhibited its link to Regulus the king star in Leo at Christ’s birth on Sept. 11th 3 BC, with the first of three unions starting Sept. 14th. With Jupiter’s triple crowning of Regulus, the celestial coronation of Jesus Christ was shed forth in the heavens by the hand of the Almighty, Who spun the planets in their courses at Creation. On Nov. 26/27 in 3 BC, the Moon occulted Regulus. The coordination of Jupiter standing still in retrograde with the Regulus’ lunar occultation together is very rare, occurring only once about every 5,000+ years. The blocking of the light from the king star Regulus by the Moon, while Jupiter-with the scepter of the righteous branch standing still in the heavens, foreshadows a relationship seen in Ps. 89 above and Genesis 49.

Genesis 49:8-10.
“Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise; Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; Your father’s children shall bow down before you.
Judah is a lion’s whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up. He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him?
10 The scepter shall not depart from JudahNor a lawgiver from between his feetUntil Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

On January 20 in 2 BC Jupiter rose just after sunset (acronycal rising). During this is a key phase of Jupiter’s cycle, the full Moon occulted of Regulus. This is a kind of replay of the event previously in Nov. 3 BC. The king star Regulus is occulted by the Moon while Jupiter is standing still at sunset in the heavens. This event took place in the Hebrew month of Shevat, a name which is taken from the Hebrew word for the ruler’s staff/scepter, [shebet], found in Genesis 49:10 [scepter] above. The “lawgiver from between his feet” is a direct reference to the king star Regulus in Leo.

September 18, 2017 – the Moon will occult three planets (Venus, Mars and Mercury) and one first-magnitude star (Regulus) in less than 24-hours time! This will be the first time since March 5, 2008, that three planets have been occulted by the Moon in less than one day. The next time won’t be until July 24, 2036.5 This string of planetary occultations generates more spiritual than observational interest because most of the world is not well-situated for watching even one of these four occultations. With the close proximity to the Great Sign of Rev. 12 on Sept 23rd, this Lunar Occultation of three planets and a first magnitude star on the same day is noteworthy. Of these three planets aligned with Regulus in Leo similar to [Fig. 3] above, only the Moon and Venus will be easy to spot in the predawn/dawn hours, as the Moon blocks the light of Venus as the Bright and Morning Star. Regulus should also be visible below Venus as the Moon passes in front of it next before dawn. You may need binoculars to see the occultation of Mars and finally Mercury.

Three other 1st-magnitude stars – that is, bright stars – reside close enough to the ecliptic to be occulted by the moon: Aldebaran, Antares and Spica. As it happens, Aldebaran, too, is in the midst of an series of 49 monthly occultations that started on January 29, 2015 and will conclude on September 3, 2018.

Antares and Spica have no occultaion series going on at present. Spica will have a series of 20 monthly occultations from June 16, 2024 to November 17, 2025; whereas Antares will have a series of 68 monthly occultations from August 25, 2023 to August 27, 2028. 5

The Great American Total Solar Eclipse is a uniquely powerful sign in the Heavens leading to the celestial fireworks of the Rev. 12 sign in September of 2017! The Almighty has pulled the plug on Heavenly Wonders to get His people’s attention to Repent in these Last Days!! Pray God you are ready for what is coming…

The Celestial Prelude and the Birth and Return of Jesus Christ

Birth of Jesus Christ

Biblical Astronomy of the Birth and Return of Christ

God marked the holy season of the birth of His only begotten son Jesus, from before the foundations of the world, according to His eternal omniscient foreknowledge, in concert with the celestial cycles He installed as He ordered the heavens in Creation. In this way His handiwork would show forth praise and worship of His wisdom, exhibited in the eternal purpose of His plan of the ages. As the Creator and God of the Heavens and Earth, our Heavenly Father saw fit to mark mankind’s long awaited deliverance, prophesied in the circle of the stars, marked by a 25,920 year celestial cycle recognizing the Sun’s retrograde motion through the zodiac at the vernal point, initiating the Age of Pisces in the precession of the equinoxes. He also marked the celestial signs leading up to, and surrounding the birth of the Christ, the embodiment of the Morning Star, with a unique series of triple planetary unions, involving a triple conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn. The first of these is seen below in Figure 1.

Figure 1. Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction in Pisces, May 29th, 7 BC.1

This realization is a primary element in understanding the Biblical Astronomy of the Celestial Prelude of signs revealing the Birth of Christ.[read more] The other dates of this Jupiter-Saturn triple conjunction in Pisces are Oct. 1st and December 5th. These conjunctions are many times confused for the actual signs marking Christ’s birth, but they do not fit the pattern of celestial signs laid out in Rev. 12 below. As we will see however they are critical in setting the format for the Magi to identify the actual signs of Christ’s birth that occurred in 3-2 BC.

Rev. 12:1-2
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

In the prophecy of the “Great Wonder” in Rev. 12:1, the feet of the woman, Virgo are found at the intersection of the ecliptic and the Celestial Equator, also known as the autumnal equinox, one of the so-called four “pillars of heaven,” or the four Cardinal points. This celestial point was generally marked on the Hebrew calendar during the Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot, that occurred later during Tishri, the 7th Month of their year. With the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, the end-time emphasis on the Lord’s Feasts has been brought home to us in no uncertain terms with multiple Blood Moons marking the Lord’s Feasts and Holy days on Israel’s Calendar. It is interesting to note that a great majority of Blood Moons that occurred in the current Age of Grace, over the last 2000 years are usually found near this part of the sky, close to Spica in Virgo. This gives a clue to the heavenly signs marking the 2nd coming of Christ, as we would expect them to follow the blueprint of signs marking Jesus’ Birth, within the added context of the Blood Moon Tetrads on the Lord’s Feasts. In this light, there were not only Blood Moon lunar eclipses taking place around the heavenly signs marking the birth of Christ in 3-2 BC, but the 12 Characteristics of the Celestial Prelude are also evident as the signs that helped the Magi identify the heavenly signs leading to the Great Wonder in Heaven, [Rev. 12].

Figure 2. Virgo at sunset Sept. 11th 3 BC seen from Jerusalem.

Virgo marking the birth of Christ

God also marked the coronation of His only begotten Son in the heavens with a triple conjunction of the King planet Jupiter with the King star Regulus in Leo during 3-2 BC, based on Jupiter’s retrograde motion. Thus, his birth on the key day of Tishri 1 in Hebrew timekeeping was foreordained by God, to fit the pattern of 7 primary Hebrew Feast and holy days of their sacred calendar, since before the foundations of the world. This critical date on the calendar of Israel perfectly synchronizes to mark Jesus’ birthday on Hebrew New Years Day, Tishri 1.

To help us grasp the critical importance of the feast of Tishri 1, the 7th month, we turn to the following reference from Alfred Edersheim:

“Just as age was reckoned from Tishri 1 to Tishri 1, so were the regnal years of Judean Kings. The blowing of trumpets of Rams Horns was also part of the coronation ceremony of these Judean Kings.” 2

Thus the start of Jesus’ reign as King of Kings is marked on his birthday of Tishri 1, the “Day of Trumpets.” The significance of the King’s Coronation tied to Rosh Hashannah, New Years Day and the head of Israel’s calendar, is that Jesus as the King of Kings presides over all temporal, civil and sacred matters as the King-High Priest of Israel. Thus it is fitting that a majority of Blood Moons would occur near this area in Virgo, symbolizing Israel, near its brightest star Spica-Al Zemach, marking the only begotten Son and offspring of God the Father. We can see the wisdom in understanding the dual significance of the Revelation 12 prophecy, as it not only applies to Jesus’ first appearance with his birth and sufferings, but also his victorious return in Glory. Almighty God has mirrored the heavenly signs marking the birth of Jesus Christ, 2000 years later in the Lunar light of the Blood Moon Tetrads and Israel’s gathering as a nation, to set the stage for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As the Magi were able to identify the Star of Bethlehem based on the the 12 traits of the Celestial Prelude surrounding the triple conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn in 7 BC, so we can see their basis in the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad leading to the the repeat of the Rev. 12 signs on Sept. 23rd 2017. These twelve stellar pointers provided by the Hand of the Heavenly Father left no doubt as to the time of year, the specific day and even the time of day for the Magi to recognize the time frame of the birth of the only begotten Son of God. These details of the Celestial Prelude are unique to the Try-God.com and blog sites since we have detailed this account of the celestial setting marking the birth of Christ, it is fitting that we reconstruct the specifics of the solar and lunar eclipses leading up to the birth of Christ, for comparison with the modern Blood Moon Tetrads for end-times insight. The 12 characteristics of the Celestial Prelude are listed below:

32831844

12 Characteristics of the Celestial Prelude

• Jupiter was clearly marked as “his star.”
• Jupiter was involved in a triple planetary Conjunction.
• Jupiter was involved in a series of planetary conjunctions.
• Jupiter’s retrograde motion would play a key role.
• Jupiter’s triple union was followed by a massing of planets.
• This massing of planets was followed by a Mars Conjunction.
• The Jupiter-Mars Conjunction was followed by a series of lunar occultations, and total “Blood Moon” lunar eclipses.
• This series of conjunctions would last about two years.
• The annual twenty days when the Sun is in Virgo would be a key.
• The September 15th alignment of Jupiter, Saturn the Earth and Sun in 7 BC that occurred in the evening at sunset, directed the Magi’s attention to the end of the 20-day period when Virgo was “clothed with the Sun.”
• The lunar eclipse on September 15th of 5 BC established that the Magi should be watchful of lunar activity during this time. This framed the 42 minute period between Sunset and Moon-set on the only day of the year when Virgo “was clothed with the Sun with the Moon under her feet.”
• The September 15th Heliacal Rising of Jupiter and Saturn foreshadowed the Heliacal Setting of the star Spica, between the setting Sun and Moon in Virgo, identifying a key 30-minute period when the birth of Christ took place.

Starting on the 1st trait of this list, the Star of Bethlehem [Jupiter] the King Planet that the Magi followed to Jerusalem and the birth of Christ, it is Jupiter again that is birthed from Virgo’s Womb on Sept. 9th 2017, after spending 42 weeks-the normal time of human gestation in her womb due to Jupiter’s retrograde motion. This speaks to the 2nd and 4th traits that Jupiter’s Retrograde motion would be a key as it was for the Magi in identifying the triple planetary conjunction of Jupiter-Regulus beginning 3 days after the birth of Christ-the 2nd trait of the Celestial Prelude.

The third trait refers to a Jupiter’s involvement in a series of Planetary Conjunctions. We find this manifested at the birth of Christ in a dazzling Jupiter-Venus conjunction in Leo on June 17th of 2 BC. It was two Jupiter-Venus conjunctions that actually bracketed the great majority of heavenly signs marking the birth of Christ inand 1 BC. The 1st Jupiter-Venus Conjunction marking the birth of Christ took place on August 31st 3 BC, in Leo with the last one occurring on August 21st 1 BC, in Virgo. Here we find an interesting variation on a Celestial Sphinx sign highlighting planetary conjunctions of Jupiter-Venus, that took place during the first fulfillment the Rev. 12:1-2 prophecy relating to the sufferings of Christ in his ministry as the Passover Lamb. This alerts us that we should look for similar Celestial Sphinx signs as a precursor to the Lord’s Second Coming. The fact that there were also two Venus-Mars conjunctions framing the central Jupiter-Venus union between March 31st, and Dec. 9th, 2 BC, marking the birth of Christ, sets a precedent that we find in like fashion leading up to the Lord’s glorious Second Coming. This refers to the sixth trait of the Celestial Prelude. In this light, it is with great interest that we noted two Venus-Mars unions in 2015, that 3 Jupiter-Venus unions occurred in Leo, followed by Jupiter-Venus unions in Virgo in both 2016 and 2017. The initial Triple conjunction of Jupiter-Venus starting on July 1st, 2015 was all over the newscasts, and current events, being compared to the brilliant June 17th Jupiter-Venus planetary conjunction in 2 BC, 9 months after the birth of Christ. This is one of many indicators of the popularity of the Blood Moons in the public eye, as Blood Moon mania grabbed the headlines of many major media outlets. The resemblance of these current heavenly signs, to the birth signs of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, were noted in detail as public “end times awareness” shot off the charts.

The following dates witnessed Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in Leo in the Hebrew Jubilee year of 2015-2016:

June 30th, 2015
August 25th, 2015
October 26th, 2015

The following dates saw Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in Virgo in 2016-with only Nov. 2017 remaining:

July 27th, 2016
Feb. 26th, 2017
Nov. 13th, 2017

The Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015 was foreshadowed by lunar eclipses leading to the birth of Christ, which we find in the 7th trait of the Celestial Prelude. The Jupiter-Saturn triple Conjunctions in 7 BC, highlighted by a planetary alignment on Sept. 15thBC, initiated a pattern of heavenly signs that reappeared in September of 5 BC with a pair of eclipses. This embodies the 10th trait of the Celestial Prelude. On 9-5-5 BC there was a partial Solar eclipse, with a Total Lunar eclipse following 10 days later on 9-15-5 BC. These heavenly signs exactly 2 years apart, enlightened the Magi that they should be on the lookout for heavenly signs marking the birth of Christ, in the next 2-year period in September of 3 BC– the 8th trait of the Celestial Prelude. Since September marked Hebrew New Year’s Holy day, of Rosh Hashanah starting the seventh month of Tishri, on September 11th, the Magi would have been on notice with their eyes riveted to the heavens for the signs denoting the coming of the prophesied King of the Jews. As stated in the 11th trait of the Celestial Prelude, the lunar activity in 5 BC tipped off the Magi to be watchful of lunar activity during this time, two years later in 3 BC. This framed the 42-minute period between Sunset and Moon-set on the only day of the year when Virgo “was clothed with the Sun with the Moon under her feet,” [Rev. 12:1]. This period in mid-September towards the end of the annual 20-day time-frame when the “Sun was clothing Virgo,” was also marked by the first of 3 unions of Jupiter and Regulus in 3-2 BC, three days after the birth of Christ. [Gen. 49:9-10]

Relating to this, 2015 saw some eye-popping heavenly signs taking place between the Partial Solar Eclipse on the Feast of Trumpets and the final Super Blood Moon on the Tabernacle Feast of Sept. 28th, 2015. On Sept. 17th the Sun appears in Virgo 20 days clothing the stellar woman symbolizing Israel with the Moon at her feet as seen in [Rev. 12]. This is the ninth trait of the Celestial Prelude. With all that we have seen regarding the ministry of Christ as it embodies in the 7 feasts of Israel emphasized in the Blood Moon Tetrad, as we combine the narrative of the birth signs of Jesus Christ from [Rev. 12], relating the story of his victorious Second Coming, the dual significance of the prophecy in [Rev. 12] becomes apparent.

Sept. 23rd, 2015 [Hebrew Jubilee Year opens
on the Day of Atonement]
Sept. 28th 2015 [Final Super Blood Moon, Feast of Trumpets]

September 17th, 2015 was a key date above since it marked not only the Rev. 12 sign of the Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet, but also the first of two Mercury-Spica conjunctions in Virgo, the 2nd one on October 29th. The September 23rd sign from Rev. 12, takes place two years before the Great Wonder of Rev. 12 rewinds in the heavens on Sept. 23rd, 2017, just as at the birth of Christ-the 8th trait of the Celestial Prelude. This was emphasized with the two Mercury-Spica unions in Virgo, within a 6-week period. As Mercury-Gabriel, the messenger arch-angel announces the apparent nearness of the Lord Jesus Christ, returning FOR his Saints. The setting star Spica, the brightest star in Virgo, displays the birth time of the Promised SeedJesus Christ in his four-fold ministry as King, Son of Man, Servant and Son of God, as seen in the Four Gospels; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

There was also a 1 degree Triangular massing of Jupiter-Venus, and Mars in Leo on October 28th, 2015, which is preceded earlier in the month with a planetary alignment with Regulus in Leo, [see Figure 1 below]. This is significant first because it refers to the planetary massing of the 5th trait of the Celestial Prelude, but also due to the resemblance again of the Rev. 12 heavenly sign, with the WomanVirgo crowned with 12 stars, consisting of the 9 fixed stars in Leo, combined with the planets Jupiter, Venus and Mars, forming the Crown of 12 stars over Virgo’s head. This alignment sets the stage for the Feast of Tabernacles week, marked by the Super Blood Moon of Sept. 28th. A very similar planetary alignment will be seen again in Sept. 2017, [Figure 2.] involving the same players except Mercury will replace Jupiter in Leo, since Jupiter will be birthed in Virgo. This serves as key celestial foreshadowing 2 years prior to this birthing of Jupiter in Virgo, the rewind of the Rev. 12:1-2 wonder in heaven, 12th trait of the Celestial Prelude.

Figure 1. Planetary Alignment in Leo, October 3rd, 2015. 3

As there were 3 Jupiter-Venus Conjunctions marking the Rev. 12 birth signs of Christ in 3-2 BC, so this triple alignment of Jupiter-Mars, & Venus in Leo with Regulus, reflects a similar spiritual light in the context of the Blood Moon Tetrad of 20142015. In fact the Rev. 12 heavenly sign: the [Sun clothing Virgo with the Crescent Moon at her feet] on September 17th, 2015 is announced by Mercury-Gabriel located alongside Virgo’s womb, united with Spica/Al Zimach on this day, 2 years ahead of the rewind of the Great Wonder in Heaven, on Sept. 23rd 2017, seen below.

Figure 2. Rev.12 Sign [Sun clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet]. 4

As we have seen with both sets of heavenly signs surrounding the Birth of Christ and seemingly marking his victorious Return, the King Planet Jupiter as the Star of the Messiah, and Venus-the Bright and Morning Star are highly prominent in marking and bracketing the key signs in the dual-purpose of Revelation 12, with both the birth and return of Christ.

Another key with the final Super Blood Moon is that it takes place after the Hebrew 50-year Jubilee opened on the Day of Atonement on Sept. 23rd, 2015. This is noteworthy since the Super Blood Moon was the first Blood Moon of the 2014-2015 Tetrad that was visible in Jerusalem, as the city of God was liberated by Israel for the first time in nearly 2000 years in the preceding Jubilee year of 1967, also marked by the previous Blood Moon Tetrad of 1967-68.

As the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad of the end days are centered between the saddest days on the Hebrew Calendar, the days of Av in 2010-11 and 2018-19, they commemorate the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple on two key occasions in their history, one of which we have highlighted below, with the 69-70 AD solar and lunar eclipses, marking the Roman Destruction of the Jerusalem Temple. It is also noteworthy that the triple conjunctions of Jupiter-Regulus marking Christ’s birth, synchronize here since the next one did not recur till 69/70AD, leading directly to the Roman’s destroying of the Jerusalem Temple prophesied by Christ. By putting these birth signs of Christ together with the Temple’s destruction, it recalls Jesus’ words in [Jn 2:19-20] where the Temple’s destruction referred to the “temple of his body.” Since Jesus Christ spiritually embodied the replacement of the Temple for both Messianic and Gentile Christians communing with the Heavenly Father in the Age of Grace, the Jerusalem Temple on the Mount will not be seen again until the daily sacrifices return prior to Jesus’ 2nd Coming. The eclipses marking the Roman’s destruction of the Temple correlate to solar and lunar eclipses during the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015 leading to the rewind of the Great Wonder of Rev. 12:1-2, as seen in the chart below. These Solar and Lunar eclipses surrounding the Rev. 12 Sign took place on the following Hebrew Feast and Holy days:

10-18-69 Partial Lunar Eclipse on the Feast of Tabernacles.
3-30-70  Total Solar Eclipse on Nisan 1. [as seen 3-20-2015]
4-14-70  Penumbral Lunar Eclipse at Passover. [like 2014 Passover Blood Moon]
9-23-70  Annular Solar Eclipse on Rosh Hashanah.
[1947 years before 9-23-2017]

These solar and lunar eclipses marking the Roman destruction of the Jerusalem Temple not only link to the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, but based on the recognition of ripe Barley in Israel in spring of 2016 two more Lunar Eclipse events were added after the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015. Although the two added Lunar Eclipses on Hebrew Feast and Holy Days after the 4 Blood Moons do make a highly unique event including 6 Lunar Eclipses from 2014-2016, the added 2016 events do not qualify as “Blood Moons.” That being said, all 6 of these qualify as Lunar Eclipses in 3 consecutive years on Hebrew Feast days, from 2014-2016! As we consider the import of these Penumbral Lunar Eclipses in 2016, we must point out the parallel to the Penumbral Lunar Eclipses of 70 AD marking the Romans destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem seen below.

The following summary from our Biblical Blood Moon Calendar post, shows the 70 AD Roman Temple Destruction as Jesus Prophesied.

Solar & Lunar Eclipses from 69-71 AD.           2016 Solar & Lunar Eclipses omitting Adar 2:

Partial Lunar       Sukkot              10/18/69

Total Solar           Nisan 1              3/30/70         Total Solar Eclipse 3/9/2016 on Nisan 1

Penum lunar       Passover          4/14/70          Penumbral Lunar Passover Eclipse 3/23/2016

Annular Solar     Rosh Hash      9/23/70         Annular Solar Eclipse 9/3/2016/Trumpets Feast

Penum lunar        Sukkot            10/08/70       Penum Lunar Eclipse 9/16/Sukkot/9-16 to 9/23/16

Partial Lunar       Purim               3/4/71

Its interesting to note with a ripe Barley determination made in time for the Total Solar Eclipse on March 9th, 2016 it also falls on Nisan 1, even as above with the total solar eclipse on 3/30/70 AD. The ripe Barley also provides the link to the other Hebrew feasts in 2016. This link with the Solar and Lunar eclipses between 70 AD and 2016 is truly remarkable as a follow up to the correlation of 2014, as there are no Blood Moons among either set of Hebrew feasts! The fascinating parallel here is that these Solar and Lunar signs marked the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple in 70 AD, while today we are looking for the return of a Third Jerusalem Temple as the next logical step to fulfill Biblical Prophecy following up to Israel’s reclamation of Jerusalem marked by the 1967-68′ Blood Moon Tetrad, in the 6-day War with Egypt.

As this rewind of heavenly signs marking Christ Jesus’ first appearance on earth occur in the context of the latest Blood Moon Tetrad, the celestial warnings of the Second Coming are undeniable to those with eyes to see and ears to hear. All these heavenly signs seem to point towards the September 23rd, 2017  date, when we will witness the returning heavenly signs of 9/11/3 BC marking the birth of Christ. These returning signs from [Rev. 12:1-2], will replay in a climax of these celestial announcements even as the Magi witnessed and shared the Joy of the Lord’s first Advent. What an awesome privilege we have to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Are you ready?
