Biblical Astronomy of the Star of David

The Star of David is an ancient sign and symbol that predates even ancient Israel. This symbol has a wide-ranging and multi-level history, reaching into numerous cultures across the globe. Early renditions of this important symbol are found on several Cylinder Seals dating as far back as circa 2500BC, exhibited in the Vorderasiatisches Museum in Berlin, Germany. This ancient Akkadian Cylinder Seal shows a six-pointed Star with a centered Sun/star. There is a resemblance to the Star of David in this Seal, in that it is a six-pointed star, however it does not appear to conform to overlaid equilateral triangles as is the Magen David. There exists added archaeological evidence of zodiacs from the same general time suggesting feasible Sumerian roots. As we can see in the Cylinder Seal below, The Star figure is central to the six-pointed star, encircled by 12 other planets, or stars/constellations. If this sign is not our Sun, then perhaps it could represent a shadow, or twin star of our Sun, as other bright stars are known to have like Sirius and Sirius B, for example. This could also fit with David residing in the royal throne and genealogy of Jesus Christ, as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

The Sun figure-a 6-pointed star, surrounded by 12 other celestial bodies generally fits numerous Jewish sources that depict the 12 Tribes of Israel encamped around the Tabernacle in their 40-year sojourn in the wilderness. Similar images are also depicted on the Breastplate of the High Priest, conforming to a cosmic order including 12 hours of the day, 12 months of the year, and 12 zodiacal signs. Judean tradition even depicts the 12 tribes camped around the Tabernacle in the form of a hexagram. In Figure 2 below, each point of the hexagram links to the center of six circles, around a center circle of the Tabernacle where God presented Himself to His people, encircled by the planets and the Moon, as seen below and in Figure 3.

The Star of David in Figure 3 shows the hexagram interlaced with these 2 equilateral triangles, and a hexagonal center, with the Light of the world. This Star of David provides an example of a God-centered Hebrew Solar System, including also a potential systematic map of planetary conjunctions, as they occur in the 12 celestial houses of the Mazzaroth. The history books relate that a heliocentric concept of the solar system was popularized by the ancient Greeks, specifically Aristarchus of Samos in the 2nd Century BC. But this did not catch on till Copernicus in the Middle Ages. Yet we find here further evidence of a heliocentric view going back to the Star of David at least as far as 1600-1400 BC, in excavations at Gezer painted on a ceramic bowl. 3
It’s good that modern science is finally catching up to the ancient Biblical Patriarchs in certain categories of advanced thought! Of course, you won’t hear anything but scoffs and chortle’s from today’s scientific community with suggestions like this, yet it is hard to ignore the evidence of the source for these ideas. The Star of David (Magen David) predates Yah’shua Ha Mossiach (Jesus Christ the Messiah), by at least six centuries. The six-pointed star was used in Jewish architecture as a religious symbol of victory and protection for over 2600 years. We find Magen David‘s also prominent on synagogues, like Capernaum where Jesus taught! [Mark 1:21, Luke 4:31, John 6:59), dating from the Second Temple period, during the Messiah’s ministry.

There is much evidence that the six-pointed star was called the Shield of David because David’s name in Hebrew was spelled Daled, Vav, Daled. If you take the first and last triangles, the alpha & omega (Daleds) of “David” and interlace them, you have the Magen David. Encircling the triangles in the Mazzaroth joined in the first and last signs of Virgo/Leo-forming the Sphinx, as the unifying symbol in the context of the planetary unions in our solar system, including the Jupiter-Saturn series. The Star of David has also been used to diagram the seven days of the Creation week, and the Sabbath as a foundation in Hebrew and world timekeeping. In the graphic below, we find an example of how the hexagram has been used to diagram Bible truths, for example in Genesis 1:1, among many others. 5

The following info comes from Leo Tavares, and his website Mathematical Monotheism. Since the Hebrew Alphabet is alpha-numeric, where every letter has a number value, below Tavares has charted the numerical values of the Hebrew words in Genesis 1:1. 6

Regarding the number 37, Tavares notes that “for the sum of the Fibonacci numbers indexed to the first 37 decimal digits of Phi, after the decimal point=401. This shows a link between Pi and Phi ratios, previously illustrated in various blog posts. Not only does the center word of value of Genesis 1:1, stand out as its only Prime Word value, it stands out as its shortest word, made up of the first and last letters of their alphabet; the Aleph and Tav. Since the Almighty God-Creator is fittingly set in the center of these seven words in Gen. 1:1, like both the Menorah between the other 6 candles, [Rev. 1:20] and the Star of David with the center hexagon of the six-pointed star, this also reveals an internal code of mirror symmetry in Gen. 1:1, that the sum of the prime factors of the words to the left of 401, yields the same value of the prime factors to the right of 401. 7 This also shows the Almighty God at the center of the Hebrew Scriptures in the Alpha verse of all of God’s written Word, as the Creator of all the material world inside the universe, as well as the spiritual world outside of it.

Building on this, Tavares posits the PHI STAR OF GENESIS 1:1 -based on the numerical value of Gen. 1:1 [2701] is the 37th regular hexagonal number, and hexagons/hexagrams are naturally related, Tavares placed the order of the 37 Fibonacci numbers, derived from the first 37 decimal digits of Phi, after the decimal point, in the form of a hexagram where these numbers total 401, seen below in Figure 4. 8

This shows the link between Genesis 1:1 and the number 37 is active with both Prime and Fibonacci numbers. We can see this also in the sum of numbers at the numbers in the apex triangle points of this Phi Star of Gen. 1:1, totaling 37. [8+13+1+13+2+0] 9

Added examples of sacred Phi geometry are found in the banner below, depicting a Phi relation between the orbital speeds of Earth and Jupiter-Saturn. As the planets move anti-clock wise around the ecliptic viewed from Earth, Jupiter’s orbital speed is in a Phi relation to the slower Saturn, shown in the banner below seen from the Earth. This shows added evidence of the Phi ratio order in our solar system.

We have shown extensively on our website and blog series the impact of the Great Conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn in Biblical history, in the astronomical markings of the birth of Abram, the birth of Moses, finally leading up to the birth of Christ. For all intents and purposes, this planetary conjunction cycle could be considered a major aspect of what I have termed the “Celestial Prelude” in describing the celestial signs marking the general and specific periods to mark the birth of Christ. Biblical history shows that the deliverer of Israel and the world, would come from the Seed of Abraham, and deliver Israel as the forerunner Moses did.

With The Star of Bethlehem, we are told that the Jupiter-Saturn unions carry a lot of weight: In his Commentary on Daniel, Abarbanel {1437-1508} wrote that conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn in the constellation of Pisces signified not only the most important events but also events which referred especially to Israel. The Rabbi argued that as the conjunction had taken place three years before the birth of Moses, an event which heralded the first deliverance of Israel, so it would also precede the birth of the Messiah and the final deliverance of Israel… What would Saturn, Jupiter and Pisces signify to the Magi astrologers? As New Testament scholar Raymond Brown points out, we cannot be sure how the Jews in the time of Jesus made their zodiacal calculations. The same scholar, however, goes on to say that ‘Pisces is a constellation sometimes associated with the last days and with the Hebrews, while Jupiter, an object of particular interest among Parthian astrologers, was linked with the world ruler and Saturn was identified as the star of the Amorites of the Syria-Palestine region’. The claim has been made that this conjunction might have led Parthian astrologers to predict that there would appear in Palestine among the Hebrews a world ruler of the last days, an apocalyptic king.10

Below we find depicted the Trigon of the Great Conjunction cycle by Johannes Kepler. He used this diagram to calculate the precession of the equinoxes based on the conjunction cycle of Jupiter-Saturn, as these giants of our solar system marked the opening of a new precessional age nearly every 2160 years, as they approach the vernal equinox. This triangular sequence of conjunctions and oppositions is completed in 60 years, as these 2 gas giants unite every 20 years, in an ongoing planetary union series. As each conjunction appears in a triplicity, that forms the triangular planetary union over 60 years, they transition to the next as seen in Figure 7, where the following Jupiter-Saturn union shifts to the earthly triplicity of Virgo.

Johannes Kepler, made a detailed study of the moving geometry of the sky, represented the periods of the planets by geometric figures with values based on the fundamental divisions of the circle into four, six and twelve sections measuring 90º, 60º and 30º. He made a model that related the five Platonic solids to the planetary orbits, where the cube occupied the space between the orbits of Saturn and Jupiter, and the tetrahedron between Jupiter and Mars. Since then many mind-boggling mathematical relationships have been discovered between the planets’ cycles, sizes and distances from each other, as well as their speed and axis inclinations, and even their rates of spin. These findings point to the presence of an Intelligent designer of the universe. They prove that, rather than evolving randomly, the Sun together with the planets and their moons form a unified, living system of the first order and elegance. 12

The graphic above depicts the Green triangle as earth, the Yellow triangle as air, the Blue Triangle as water, and the Orange Triangle as Fire, all unified in the Jupiter-Saturn series of conjunctions, in the central Star of David, as they make their way through the Mazzaroth, navigating these elemental celestial signs corresponding to earth, air, fire, water and ether.
The graphic in figure 7 below shows accurate values: in a tropical system, there will be 10 or 11 conjunctions, and in a sidereal system 11 or 12. Figure 7 below shows this visually, in a tropical system.

Every mean conjunction advances by 242° 58′ 32″ of the circle, or 2° 58′ 32″ in the actual degrees of the signs. If conjunction #1 is at 0° of a sign (here, Aries), then #2 will be at about 2° 58′ 32″ of Sagittarius, #3 at 5° 57′ 04″ Leo, and so on, always moving in a clockwise motion. But then #11 will be at 29° 45′ 20″, the last of the triplicity: the next conjunction will be a triplicity shift into the earthy triplicity, at 2° 43′ 52″ Virgo.

For Plato the five geometric solids called the Platonic Solids corresponded to the elements earth, water, air, fire and ether. The numbers and shapes have a qualitative as well as a quantitative dimension, which have been neglected in modern times.

Kepler viewed the planetary order along the lines of the “Music of the Sphere’s,” unifying the basis for the outer and inner planets. We see this in a geometric harmony of the solar system, with the orbits of the gas giants; Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus. Figure 8 below depicts the outer, mean and inner orbits of Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter using an equilateral triangle and an octagram.

This is also a way of illustrating the structure of the musical Octave, with an eight-pointed star that halves or doubles the wavelengths or frequencies of the musical scale, with an equilateral triangle inscribed inside a circle, with 1/2 the diameter of its outer circle, seen in Fig. 8.

The geometry of this diagram not only depicts the musical order of these outer solar system planets, but since Jupiter and Saturn’s orbits are in the proportion of 6:11 to 99.99% accuracy, this is the octave or double of the 3:11 Moon to Earth ratio, to 99.9% accuracy, revealing a geometric harmony and mirror symmetry between the outer and inner planets. This 3:11 earth-moon proportion is also shared by two of our planetary neighbors, Mars and Venus, to 99.9% accuracy. Upon closer inspection 3:11 is 27.3%, and the Moon orbits the earth every 27.3 days, showing the harmonious pairing of the Earth and Moon. 16

So when the size of the Moon is compared to the Earth, in the figure below, the circle through the center of the Moon is equal to a circumference of the perimeter of the Square enclosing the Earth. This Square also embodies the base of the dimensions of the Great Pyramid, whose apex touches the circle in the center of the Moon. 17

The geometric order of the outer planets is further uncovered in the conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn. The basis of the geometry of the six-sided star of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions is uniquely found in the hexagon construct at the north pole of the planet Saturn, [Fig. 9]. In this graphic we are beholding the amazing basis of the geometric pattern of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction cycle.

If the six points of the hexagram or star tetrahedron are encircled in a sphere and if we add the planetary oppositions to the geometry of Jupiter-Saturn unions, the six-pointed star is formed, on a basis of the hexagram, as seen below in the upper and lower left corners of Figure 10. This graphic depicts the downward-pointing triangle of the hexagram with Jupiter at the upper right and Saturn at the low point of the triangle. The hexagon forms the corner-stone of the six-pointed “Star of David” mapping the unions of Jupiter-Saturn below. In May 2010 the last opposition stage in the current sixty-year cycle was reached, with Jupiter in Pisces opposing Saturn in Virgo. 18

When mapped, the progress of these grand conjunctions through the zodiac describes a series of equilateral triangles (Fig. 5). Every 60 years a triangle is completed, and
the planetary union returns to start, shifting however nine degrees anticlockwise in respect to its predecessors, thus forming a cycle of 800 years. Each 200 years the triangles shift to the next elements. From 1226-1425 they occurred in air signs, 1425-1603 in water, 1603-1802 in fire, and from 1802 to 2000 in earth. 20

A Biblical Astronomy perspective, provides view of planetary cycles of Jupiter-Saturn appearing in various zodiacal constellations around the ecliptic, noting the Biblical symbolism of each sign, combined with the planetary symbolism and Bible numerics to ascertain the meaning of these movements, in the context of Precessional and Biblical ages with sacred Geometry principles like the Phi, Pi and Lucas ratios, as found in the solar system and Great Pyramid. This includes categories of Heavenly Signs, Hebrew Feast and holy days, and Jubilee cycles, among other considerations.

Another application of the Star of David pattern of overlapping triangles is found in the dual ministries of the Messiah as the Priest/King. This is a powerful symbol for Jesus as the Son
of David, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root and offspring of David. [2Pet.1:19, Rev.22:16]. One example of these unified ministries of the King and High Priest is found
in the Gospel of John record [John 10:22-30];

Then came the Festival of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Jesus was in the temple area in Solomon’s Colonnade. The Jews gathered about him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father’s name speak for me, but you do not believe because you do not belong to my flock. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (John 10:22-30)

Two separate hints are given in this passage: 1) Jesus was in the temple area of Solomon’s Colonnade; and 2) he referred to his flock which means he was reminding his listeners that he is a Shepherd, in the same occupation as his forefather, King David. The image of the star of David is implied, that on another level symbolizes the joining together of the dual roles of king and high priest.

In the graphic below we have a geometric version of a six-petalled flower, called the Seed of Life in sacred geometry. Like the Pomegranate, these flowers are said to be the natural version of the Star of David in the Flower kingdom. The geometric pattern below is obtained by drawing 6 same-sized circles, that partially overlap each other, similar to the Vesica Pisces. If we look closely we can see the pattern of the Star of David within these circles also, that form the flower. In the overlapping circles on the top and bottom of this image, their common lozenge is divided in half by the inner circle surrounding the flower. These embody the upper and lower apex’s of the interlocking triangles, while the adjacent triangles provide the base angles of each triangle.

The pomegranate flower provides the ideal natural six-pointed star which may be one of the reasons it is found on the Ephod of the High Priest. They were found on the Hem of the Priest’s Ephod; his ceremonial robe that was worn while he ministered in the Tabernacle and Temple of Israel, [Exod. 28:31-35]. The pomegranates were alternated between small golden bells on the lower hem of the Ephod, which also held the High Priest’s Breastplate. This displayed fruitful works of the High Priest in his ministry. King Solomon was also said to have designed his crown based on a six-pointed star pattern of this sacred flower of the pomegranate. Here is a wonderful example of the dual ministries of our King and High Priest Jesus Christ who is the only perfect minister and our perfect redeemer, that we follow and obey as the head of our Spiritual body in his Church.

An added intriguing element is found as we consider how the 12 gems on the Breastplate link both to the 12 star-signs of the Mazzaroth, and the 12 tribes of Israel; this link takes you to an accurate account of how the tribes match their proper constellations. As the Star of David geometric structure also has 12 sides, as seen in the mid-lower row of Figure 10 above, we find a specific means whereby the conjunction series of Jupiter-Saturn, that marked the births of key Patriarchs leading to Christ, may have also provided an astronomical check and balance to the Urim and Thummim, also held in a pouch in the High Priest’s Breastplate.

As we walk in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ, rejoicing more and more as His Day approaches, in the resounding and reverberating truths of the Hope of Christ’s Return, we will stand together as super-conquerors in the Lord into eternity.

The Year of the Comet 323P/Soho

Timeline of Celestial Signs with Comet 323P/Soho

Recently a believer, Shelly McNair sent me a link to a you-tube video on a current Comet, 323P/Soho; [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNyEJJ3__MM]

The video is a teaching from a Christian group led by Pastors Patrick and Christina called Hourly Watch, where they are apparently keeping watch of the heavens for signs of the Return of Christ. Pastor Patrick gave a presentation using Stellarium astronomical software that focused on Comet 323P/Soho, showing on Stellarium that prior to Summer Solstice of 2020, this Comet had not moved going back to 4999 BC in history. His exhibit on Stellarium displays the Comet 323/P initiated its first movement on record, in the ecliptic signs as Comet 323P, travels a singular lap of the skies. There are many notable heavenly signs documented along the way, detailed in Pastor Patrick’s video, and some that are not, that we explain below. I trust this blog will add a greater understanding regarding these heavenly signs, related to this Comet. I’m thankful to Shelly McNair for bringing this teaching to my attention, and to Pastor Patrick for his video teaching, which has some very interesting elements. Of course, we are all yearning for the Lord’s Return as the Great Hope of our redemption draws near, and we know we are living in the end times, as we prepare ourselves and our loved ones for this prophetic event, but we are not in the habit of date setting this event or predicted events in Scripture. Naturally, we want to be able to discern the details of Scripture as they relate to the end-times we are living in, as the Light of God’s Word always enlightens our path. Its regrettable the path is littered with many ministries that attached their livelihood to end–time prophecies with specific dates, predicting the Lord’s Return, the Great Tribulation, or other events that failed to occur according to erroneous predictions. With this in mind, let’s delve into some details in this teaching opening with basics on Comets in Astronomical history. Comets were many times linked to the fates of monarchs and leaders. Ptolemy about 200 AD, said “Comets show through the parts of the zodiac wherein their heads appear, and by the directions where their tails point, the regions upon which the misfortunes impend.”1

Comets are generally signs and portents of destruction and evil, and in Stellarium the Comet 323P appears to stay in a stationary position to the extent of the astronomical records in this software, with its sudden stir from inactivity to open the summer season last year. It appears to represent an embodiment of evil that has been reserved for the last days, but this presents our first problem, because the designation of “P” in Comet 323P, means this is a Periodic Comet, meaning this type of comet has been observed in orbits at least twice. This contradicts what Stellarium is showing in the You-tube video, perhaps due to the software limits, which does not extend past 4999 BC. In the list of Periodic Comets, on Wikipedia, 323P has an orbit of 4.22 years, so we should be witnessing it slightly more than every 4 years. It is classified as JFC or “Jupiter Family Comet,” and Comet 323P is also rated “NEC” regarding it as a “Near-Earth Comet,” where, in this case 323P shows up twice in the Top 10 of the closest approaching Comets to Earth. To make this list, the Comet orbits are known well enough so that observers can be confident of Comet approach distances. 3 Thus, contrary to what Stellarium Astronomy software shows the Comet 323P has a history of scientifically recorded motion previous to June of 2020! This changes a key aspect of the tenor of Pastor Patrick’s teaching, that we need to be aware of.

This Comet is located on the ecliptic between Cancer and Leo, in a position that seems to mirror the King Star-Regulus in Leo, along with the Beehive Nebula in Cancer. This is where we find Comet 323P June, 20th 2020, in Stellarium when its initial motion is recorded, towards Leo. Notably, this first slow movement of Comet 323P is marked by an Annular Solar eclipse on June 20th, at the Summer solstice, framed by two Blood Moon Lunar eclipses between 6/5/20, and July 4th, 2020! This notable sign between 2 Blood Moon Eclipses in the 6/20/20 Annular eclipse pictured in Fig. 2, is one that we will trace in the timeline below, along with celestial signs and key Comet activity.

Last year’s cycle of eclipses began with a Blood Moon Lunar eclipse on June 5th, followed by a historic Annular Solar Eclipse June 20-21, with the 3rd Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse on July 4-5 of the penumbral variety, effectively framing the Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse on the June solstice. This amazing Annular Solar Eclipse was preceded by a lunar occultation of Venus on June 19th, which means the Moon as a prelude to covering the Sun, the light of the World, occulted Venus the bright and Morning star. This is engaging in light of previous Comet activity with lunar occultations and Blood Moons of 2014-2016. After the Annular Solar eclipse of this 2020 series, the Full Moon was visited by Jupiter and Saturn, the largest planets in our Solar System. By Wed. 6-24-20 Jupiter-Saturn are only 6 degrees apart in Sagittarius, as Saturn is seen below, crossing into Capricornus. This supports the notion of Comet 323P symbolizing an end-time evil, as Saturn is seen in myth as Satan’s planet we find many references linked to the number 6, ordinarily the number of man, and the Beast or antichrist–666. As Saturn in Capricorn, embodies a false-atoning sacrifice for the redeemed, we see a basic reference to the anti-christ, but it does not stop there, as seen in the relation of the number 6 to Saturn;

a. Saturn is the 6th planet in the Solar System.
b. Saturn forms the root of “Saturday,” the 6th day of the Week.
c. Saturn’s North Pole is the shape of a 6-sided hexagon.
d. Saturn has 6 clearly defined rings, the 7th being most faint. 5

This Jupiter–Saturn union with the Moon, appeared above the southeastern horizon, 3 days after the Annular Solar Eclipse, with Jupiter about 6 degrees, and dimmer Saturn about 3 degrees above the horizon. The start of the Independence day Lunar Eclipse, on July 4th & 5th, visible in the middle east that framed the Annular Solar Eclipse, as the 2nd of two Blood Moons was punctuated by this Jupiter-Saturn-Lunar union marking a key 3-day gap after Comet 323p’s initial movement.

It is also important to realize that heavenly signs like Comets have played a prominent role in the past, in relation to the recent history of Israel. The 1948 “Eclipse Comet” was a notable sight approaching the Sun during a Total Solar Eclipse, the 1st week of November. This Solar Eclipse occurred after the week of Sukkot, and the approaching Eclipse Comet on a southwest path through Hydra-the serpent destroyed, in Nov.-Dec. 1948, was a 2nd magnitude object with a tail as long as 30 degrees, appearing as if the Sun was holding a sword, raised against Israel’s Serpent enemy. A prelude to the 1949 Blood Moon Tetrad, marking the forming of Israel as a nation-state for the first time in nearly 2000 years, the Eclipse Comet brought attention to these Luni-Solar Eclipse Tetrads that also occurred in 1967-68, marking Israel’s retaking of Jerusalem, fulfilling numerous latter-day Bible prophecies, along with the next Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015. Thus eclipses seem to have a noteworthy link to Blood Moon Tetrads in Israel’s history.

What follows is an expanded timeline of celestial events in Pastor Patrick’s You-tube teaching on the motion of Comet 323P, starting with the 2 Blood Moon’s framing its movement on the Summer Solstice of 2020.

6/5/20 Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse

6/20-21/20 Annular Solar Eclipse in Cancer gave us the Max eclipse at the moment of the New Moon, as Comet 323P starts its slow minor motion near Cancer, before its true motion began a bit later towards Leo. The motion of Comet 323P coinciding with the typically invisible New Moon, unveiled activity normally under cloak of darkness, was revealed by the Sun. Other key Comets were also moving in this area of the skies. The graphic above shows a temporal Pi relation between this Annular Solar Eclipse on the Summer Solstice marking the first movement of Comet 323P, with a Blood Moon that was one of the Lunar triples framing the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-2015, and Tu B’ Shevat on the Hebrew Calendar. This Blood Moon on 7/27/2018 claims the longest totality of any Total Lunar Eclipse in the 21st Century. This key linkage is established in that the Annular Solar Eclipse not only ties to a series of Blood Moons framing the 2014-15 Tetrad, but this Annular Eclipse itself is also framed between 2 Blood Moons on 6/5/20 and 7/4-5/20.

Enjoy this bright Comet Neowise while you can, as it will not be seen again on this trajectory for nearly 7,000 years.

7/12-13/20-In Figure 6 Comet Neowise/ C2020 F3 as seen in Nevada from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, sighted just below the Big Dipper/Ursa Major. On the same day Comet Neowise was visible over my state of residence-NV, another Comet 2P Encke was passing Comet 323P joining in close proximity to this Comet as it entered Leo. Comet Encke is a Short Periodic Comet of 3.3 years, identified as such by Johann Franz Encke in 1819. During this week in mid-July 2020, the Comet Panstarrs-C/2017 T2, seen moving in the same region of the heavens between Bootes and the Decan of Virgo, is adjacent to this fair lady of the skies-Coma.

The graphic above shows another Pi relationship between Comet Neowise C2020 F3, on 7-22-2020 making its closest approach to Earth, and Comet Hale-Bopp on 3-22-1997. It is notable that this approach of Comet Neowise coincided with a 7.6 mag earthquake in Alaska also on 7-22-2020. This temporal Pi relation is complete on Christmas Day, the 1st Day of Hannukah on the Hebrew Calendar in 2027, looking forward in a prophetic context. This graphic is credited to the good folks [@watchfortheday.org] who have pointed out similar Pi/Phi relations with other recent events. As July closed on the 29th-30 the Comet Neowise C2020 F3, was visible approaching Bootes the Coming One, and Arcturus, meaning he cometh, with Comet Panstarrs C/2017 T2, near the decan Coma, depicting the young child Jesus in the lap of his Mother-Mary. 11

7/27/20-As 2P Comet Encke continues its motion south of Leo near Hydra, it initially crosses into the first Decan of Hydra, called Crater. This decan embodies the cup of the wine of the fierceness of God’s Wrath on the evil-doers, [Rev. 14:10, 16:19]. This cup of wrath consists of 13 stars, the number for rebellion, and is attached to the body of the Hydra-the Serpent destroyed, being counted to belong to both constellations. 12

8/2/20-As 2P Comet Encke continues moving above Hydra, it encounters the decan Corvus the Raven, symbolizing the final Judgment scene. This is a decan of 9 stars-the number of judgment. The brightest star in the Raven’s eye is Al Chibar, which in Arabic means joining together. 13 Comet Encke’s path near Hydra is similar to the path of the Eclipse Comet in Nov. 1948 enacting judgment on the Serpent destroyed.
Since the lower half of Hydra runs parallel to the union of signs Virgo and Leo, it embodies the area where these Alpha & Omega signs of the Mazzaroth come together, unifying the Celestial Sphinx, seen in the head of the woman and the body of a lion.

8/11/20-As Comet 323P nears Leo, the Comet Panstarrs C/2017 T2, has moved near Arcturus in Bootes, [Job 9:9] while Comet 2P Encke has moved to the end of Hydra’s tail. Aratus‘ name for Arcturus was Arctophylax, the guardian of Arctos, the flock of the greater fold, known today as Ursa Major linked to the Big Dipper. 14

8/20-21/20-As Comet 323P enters Leo-the lion of Juda, at Regulus on the ecliptic, the Sun is also present in Leo with Mercury-Gabriel, the Messenger planet as it joins Regulus in union on 8-28-20, heralding the King Star the following week.

9/11/20 Sun Clothing Virgo with the Moon at her feet. It is notable that the first two signs encountered by Comet 323P are those of the Celestial Sphinx-Leo & Virgo. Here as Comet 323P slowly moves thru Leo, the Sun and Mercury move into Virgo setting up the annual Rev. 12 sign. In the next year, Comet 323 orbits the ecliptic with numerous celestial signs and planetary conjunctions ultimately leading back to the precipice of this 9/11/21, Rev. 12 sign. Mercury-Gabriel also is unified with Spica and hailing its presence on 9-20-20. Gabriel the Messenger arch-angel declares Spica as the Zemach Branch & Promised Seed of the Woman, the star that marked the moments of Christ’s birth on this date in 3BC. Also on 9/20/20, the Comet Panstarrs has moved into the region of Virgo’s feet.

10/14/20-Comet 323P is seen with Venus the bright and morning star moving in Leo near its hind legs during this week to 10-20-20, with the Moon in the Lion’s tail and the head of the Woman Virgo, marking the union of the Celestial Sphinx. At this point on 10/18/20, Venus is unified with Comet 323P at the junction of the Celestial Sphinx, as they enter Virgo, while the Sun is in union with the star Spica. This shows the light of the world unified with Christ in his four-fold ministry as King, Son of Man, Son of God, and Servant. Here Comet Neowise C/2020 F3, has moved to encircle Virgo’s mid-section around Spica, marking the area in Virgo’s womb the king planet Jupiter spent 9 months in 2017. Comet Neowise moves between the Sun and Venus on the way back to Bootes. After Mercury’s union with Spica on 10-20-20, Mercury enters retrograde motion near the end of October, where it unifies with the Sun in Virgo. It then returns closer for another visit with Spica to establish its announcement of anti–Christ, in early November near Election Day.

11/10-14/20-Comet 323P is found with Mercury the Messenger planet heralding the Comet’s presence in Virgo, as the Sun departs Virgo for Libra, with the Moon at her feet, while the Comet Neowise C/2020 F3, departs Virgo for Bootes, and Venus the bright and Morning Star is near the star Spica, between Comet 323P and Mercury.

11/29-30/20–Penumbral Lunar Eclipse 2 weeks prior to the Total Solar eclipse in Sagittarius, 12/14/20.

12/12/2020 -Comet 323P visits the area of Virgo’s womb marked by Comet Neowise in unity with the star Spica, the royal seed that marked the moments of Christ’s birth on 9-11-3BC. This is significant as Spica, the Zemach branch embodies the four-fold ministry of Christ as seen in the Four Gospels. At this time Venus the bright and Morning Star is in Libra the scales of God’s perfect justice, while Mercury, with the Sun, moves near the head of the Scorpion–Scorpius, in the first week of December.

12/14/20 -Total Solar Eclipse, with the Moon covering the Sun in Sagittarius- the hunter, while Mercury heralds the Sun, the light of the World. Comet 323P’s union with Spica the Zemach Branch, so close to the Total Solar Eclipse, with the Moon’s attempt to block the Son–light of Christ’s four-fold ministry in Spica, this eclipse shows the battle between light and darkness, with the attempt of the anti-christ to obviate the light of Christ, seen also in the arrows of the hunter’s bow trained on the head and heart of the Scorpion, as Ophiuchus crushes the Scorpion’s heart underfoot. The temporary blockage of this eclipse is a futile attempt to block the enemy’s inevitable defeat.

12/21-25/20-Comet 323P enters Libra/judgment on Christmas-preceded by the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction on 12/21/20, the Winter Solstice. The graphic above depicts a phi relationship between Jupiter-Venus conjunctions in 2017 & 2019 and Lunar triple Blood Moons that framed the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-15, as they compared to this Great conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn on the last winter solstice. The Lunar triple link above takes the reader to a previous blog that lays out precisely how the 2014-15 Tetrad was framed by Solar and Lunar eclipses, showing a basis for their relation to current celestial and lunar activity, as the movement of Comet 323P was being framed by Blood Moons, seen at the start of this Timeline.

1/4/21-Comet 323P picking up speed, has moved into Scorpius near red star Antares, Venus the bright and Morning Star is found near the star Saiph in Ophiuchus‘ foot, which indicates the first prophecy of the Promised Seed in Gen. 3:15, where the enemy bruised the heel of the promised seed of the woman. This is evident with Comet 323P near the heart of Scorpius, whose tail is seen below stinging the heel of the 1st Adam, with the Sun hailed by Mercury in Sagittarius, with arrows aimed at the Scorpions’ heart star-Antares.

1/10/21- Jupiter-Saturn and Mercury triple conjunction.

1-11 to 1-17-21; Comet 323P moving much faster now towards union with Venus the bright and Morning Star, and the Moon on the 11th, unifying also with the Sun the light of the world, in Sagittarius the Hunter with arrows trained on the heart of Scorpius-Antares.

1-18-21 to 1-20-21; as Comet 323P exits its union with the Sun in Sagittarius, its union with Saturn, Satan’s planet in Capricorn, exposes the anti-atoning sacrifice on; 1-18-21. Next is the Comet 323P‘s union with Jupiter the King Planet on the 1/19-20/21 also in Capricorn, implying this version of an embodiment of atoning sacrifice may be positioned in the new government. As Comet 323P is with Jupiter the king planet on Inauguration Day, seems to support this notion, not saying it is the puppet Joe Biden. This is followed by the Sun’s union with Jupiter-Saturn & Mercury to signal their allure in Capricorn. With the Sun-the light of the world following so closely on the heels of Comet 323P, with similar planetary unions in Capricorn, it shows Comet 323P, foreshadowing the Sun’s movements with the planets, telling a very similar, but counterfeit story. It is interesting that both Comet 323P, and the Sun are moving from Sagittarius into the sign Capricorn during this transition of political power from one admin to the next, reflecting a spiritual conflict going on behind the scenes. Venus the Bright and Morning Star remains in Sagittarius-the hunter.

1/26-27/21-Comet 323P unifies with Mercury-Gabriel the Messenger Planet in the sign Aquarius, the Water Bearer, as the Sun-the light of the world, Jupiter the king planet, and Saturn-Satan’s planet remain in the atoning sacrifice of Capricorn. As Aquarius depicts the true record of the abundance of living waters poured forth in the spiritual ministry of Jesus Christ, the false version would be a deluge of evil spirits released to ravage human prey in the enemy’s ministry of stealing, killing and
destroying. [Jn. 10:10] But those of us protected in Christ always overcome the darkness.

2/4-5/21-Comet 323P moves into Pisces, while Venus the bright and Morning Star moves into a union with Saturn, Satan’s planet in Capricornus, showing again the false atoning sacrifice, shining with newly activated political power. The Sun-the light of the world and Jupiter-the king planet still in Capricorn. This is followed 3 days later by a union of Venus and Jupiter, the king planet on 2/8/21, also in Capricornus. This also relates to the Jupiter-Venus conjunctions pointed out in Figure 8 above-45 days after the Jupiter-Saturn Winter Solstice union on 12-21-20.

2/18-19/21-Comet 323P unified with Mars the planet for Michael the Warrior Arch-Angel fighting for and protecting God’s people, in Aries referring to the Lamb of God [Jn. 1:29].The brightest star in the head of Aries the Lamb is called Al Nath-the slain, or wounded, referring to the Lord’s perfect sacrifice for all humanity. Comet 323P then moves into Taurus the Bull, where it approaches the planet Mars in Taurus, joined by the Moon near the Bull’s eye Star-Aldebaran, the leader or Governor, referring to the returning Lord Jesus Christ. 19

3/4/21 Comet 323P is in Taurus with Mars-Michael the warrior arch-angel also in Taurus near the Pleiades, meaning the congregation of the Judge or Ruler, as seen in [Job 9:9, 38:31-32, Amos 5:8]. The Syriac name for this star cluster is Succoth-[Amos 5:26] meaning Booths in reference to the Hebrew Feast of Sukkot, witnessing Jesus tabernacled with his Church. 20

3/15/21 Comet 323P while still moving thru Taurus the Bull with Mars in tow, very near the point where one of its great Horns impales the heel of the Great Shepherd- Auriga at the star Al Nath, meaning the slain. This upholds what we saw before in Comet 323P with Scorpius stinging Ophiuchus’ heel as described in Gen. 3:15, signifying the perfect sacrifice of Christ for all mankind. This is noteworthy since Al Nath is one of the few stars that is considered a member of 2 constellations, both Auriga and Taurus. 21 This agrees with the first prophecy of the Promised Seed, while establishing the theme of the Gen. 3:15 Planisphere axis, providing some of the best evidence for our Gospel in the Stars.

4/8/21-As Comet 323P enters Gemini during the first week of April, Mars does a close fly-by of Al Nath emphasizing the dual nature of Mars, that can be seen as the war planet or an embodiment of Michael the Archangel who fights for God’s People, from one perspective, with the red planet dripping with the blood of war. On the other hand, it can be viewed as the perfect blood sacrifice of the Lord, for Israel and the Church. The meaning is best determined from the context in which Mars appears, that in this case with Auriga the Shepherd, and Taurus the Bull, a common OT Sacrifice, points clearly towards the Lord’s Blood sacrifice. This theme is supported by the Comet in Gemini not speaking of twins, but the Messiah’s dual nature in “sufferings” and “glory” of his first and 2nd comings. Two weeks later there is a Lunar Occultation of Mars on 4/17/21, near Taurus showing the spiritual conflict with this attempted lunar blockage of Mars-Michael.
Ten days after there is also a Super-Moon on 4/27/21.

5/20-22/21 Comet 323P in union with Mars the war planet in Gemini. Since Comets are usually a portent of evil, it exhibits opposition to the Messiah and the forces of Light. This conflict between light and darkness is also embodied in the Lunar eclipse on 5/26/21.

5/23/21- Starting with Pentecost Birthday of the Church, the inner planets and Sun/Moon will all by-pass Comet 323P on their ecliptic paths in a parade of planets linked to this Comet in Cancer, and the Beehive Nebula seen by some as a Rapture sign. As with most heavenly signs, the signs precede the actual events. Any sign concerning the appearance of the anti-Christ qualifies as a “Rapture sign” because the Anti-Christ is not revealed till after the Rapture. The word “Rapture” is from Latin “rapturo,” not the Greek [harpazo] or Hebrew. The Biblical name is the “Gathering together” [2Thess. 2:1-12]. In our current events, it may also depict the rising persecution of the Christian Church, which we have seen increasing evidence for, with a higher incidence of censorship by the social media giants and our government, along with a crackdown on Church meetings. The Beehive cluster or Nebula called Praesepe in Cancer means multitude or offspring, 22 showing the redeemed coming into their eternal place of rest. This depicts the Lord returning to lead his faithful into their everlasting peaceful rest, along with their place of protection until his return. The Star in the Crab’s claw, called Acubene in Hebrew means the sheltering or hiding place. Another star in Cancer–Ma’alaph means assembled thousands. 23

5/26/21-This Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse visible only over the western US, is the 3rd of four Supermoons in 2021.

5/28-29/21 With Comet 323P in Gemini, in the Venus–Mercury union, Gabriel heralds the bright and Morning star in the horns of Taurus the Bull, near Al Nath.

This requires that we take time to illustrate some principles of Biblical Astronomy and how proper Biblical Research is conducted in this area. God structured the heavens with the 12 main signs of the Mazzaroth, what many call the “Zodiac,” which is more of an astrological term. Astrology is a counterfeit of true Biblical Astronomy and to stay with accurate labels, we prefer to call things by their Biblical names. Job 38:31-32 refers to the Mazzaroth in his seasons. The 12 signs on the ecliptic circle were created and ordered by God in Gen. 1:14-17, and relate to Israel’s 12 tribes in [Gen. 49, Deut. 33] among other places. God also named and numbered the stars [Ps. 147:4] and a great majority of these sacred names are preserved for us into modern times. The 12 signs of the ecliptic tell the story of Jesus Christ the Promised Seed of the woman, in the first prophecy of this seed who is Jesus Christ; [Gen. 3:15] the only begotten Son of God. The theme of each constellation or star picture that contributes a key aspect of the overall redemption story told in the circle of the Mazzaroth, is supported by the individual star names in each constellation. This is why the ancient star names are the keys that unlock many truths of Biblical Astronomy. It comes down to researching these ancient Star names within the ancient constellations, that also have ancient designations found in God’s Word, to match and inter-relate these terms and see what God’s Word can tell us in the field of Biblical Astronomy. There are also the 36 decans, which have a long history holding many truths since there are 3 with each of the 12 constellations, totaling 36. Astrology is not the only category that contains many errors in this category of Bible research. Others who delve into Biblical Astronomy take liberties that go far beyond the principles of true Biblical research. One of these categories of error involves the misuse of Strong’s Concordance. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Strong’s Concordance with some of its related Lexicons for over 40 years, since I got into Biblical research in 1979. Used correctly, Strong’s number system for Greek and Hebrew words is a proven, invaluable tool of Bible research for multitudes. And as we ascertain the ancient star names used in God’s Word linked to their Strong’s number, we can see where these words, along with their Hebrew/Greek roots are used in the Bible for an accurate record of where, why, to whom, when, and how God’s Word utilizes its terms, to give us an extensive picture of a Biblical subject. However, some are misusing Strong’s numbers by correlating them with dates, and modern scientific designations of stars, for example from Comet or NGC numbers of the catalog of non-star celestial objects to support their favorite teaching themes in error.

Pastor Patrick compared Comet 323P to John the Baptist as a forerunner of Christ, announcing his arrival. Since Comets are usually portents of evil, this was not a good idea. He also linked the number of this Comet [323] to the corresponding number in Strong’s Concordance, with the meaning of this Greek word as a showing forth. However, as we are illustrating in Biblical Astronomy, Mercury-Gabriel is the Messenger Planet, who has the role of announcing or heralding an event or person. Mercury is linked to this speedy messenger planet because Mercury has the shortest and fastest orbit of any other planet in our Solar System, and has long been characterized in this role in ancient mythology. Since God is the One Who spun the planets in their orbits via to His perfect timetable, and He commands the presence of his angels to do His bidding, we should let His placement and position of His celestial bodies speak on their own.
Pastor Patrick also refers to the Greek word [Harpazo-G726] where the link relating to the Rev. 12 sign is evident; [Rev. 12:5] but the Rev. 12 sign takes place on 9-11 not 7-26, so I don’t immediately correlate it to the 7-26 date as a prediction, or the signs that take place on 7-26 [see below]. There are other examples of this kind of practice in the video, that only detracts from authentic Biblical Astronomy teaching. As we find in the narrative of these signs related to Comet 323P, each celestial body named in Scripture, carries its own message which relates what is going on with each event. As we compare these events with the known history of Biblical Astronomy, along with current events, we can recognize congruencies as they occur. This provides a solid footing as we compare current events with similar events in the history of Biblical Astronomy related to Hebrew feast and holy days, and the life and Ministry of Jesus Christ related to the Hebrew Calendar, Temple, or Tabernacle, and their sacred implements, etc. Since God first wrote the Gospel of the redemption story in the Stars, before it was ever written in Scripture, we must treat the Gospel in the Stars with the same care that we should handle the Holy Scripture. When we do, the Gospel in the Stars holds tremendous revelation that was disclosed to the Bible Patriarchs as their sole source of written words that were penned from the Hand of the Almighty Creator. These words must be allowed to speak for themselves, first and foremost which also holds true for the written Scripture, as the Apostle Peter tells us;

2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV – Knowing this first, no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.

With this short summary of Biblical Astronomy Research Principles, that guide the integrity of research from this blog and website, the reader has a basic idea of how these principles can preserve our content, guarding against private or one’s own interpretation of God’s Word, whether written in the Stars or in the Bible. There is naturally, much more to this subject, but we will leave that for another time. Here are the rest of the signs linked to Comet 323P in 2021.

6/10/21-Annular Solar Eclipse-a Ring of fire eclipse visible in eastern US, Canada, Greenland and Russia.

6/24/21-Comet 323P union with Venus the bright and Morning Star in Cancer, the Messiah’s Redeemed property held fast and a refuge for believers.

7/10-11/21-The Moon by-passes Comet 323P in Cancer. The next day on 7/12/21-Comet 323P in the body of Cancer, with the union of Venus and Mars in the left pincer of Cancer the crab. We know that this is a corrupted star picture from the Hebrew Mazzaroth because there is no word for “crab” in Hebrew.

7/19/21-Venus the bright and Morning Star in union with Regulus the king star in Leo.

7/25/21-Comet 323P unified with Mercury the Messenger Planet, and the Sun as the light of the world in Cancer @ the Beehive Nebula at Praesepe, while Venus the bright and Morning Star and Mars are framing Regulus in Leo.

7/26-27/21-Sun by-passes Comet 323P in Cancer, with Mercury heralding the Sun also in Cancer, while Venus and Mars-Michael the Warrior Arch-Angel still frame the king star Regulus in Leo.

7/31/21-Mercury the Messenger Planet by-passes the Sun and Comet 323P in Cancer, with Mars-Michael unified at Regulus the king star, while Venus is mid-bodied in Leo.

8/11/21-With Comet 323P passing Cancer and the Sun heading towards Leo, there is a Mercury-Regulus union, with Mars mid-bodied in Leo, and the Moon in Leo’s tail section. Here Comet 323P is returning to its starting position between Leo and Cancer. This occurs 30 days before the Rev. 12 sign on 9-11-21.

8/21/21-Comet 323P has past the boundary of Cancer with Comet 8P Tuttle also in Cancer, on the 27th as this fly-by of Comets marks the return of 323P to its starting position. The Moon is between Jupiter-Saturn in Scorpius the Scorpion with the Sun in union with Regulus in Leo, and Mercury-Gabriel aligned with Mars-Michael both also aligned with Regulus in Leo.

9/11-12/21-Rev. 12 sign with Sun Clothing Virgo and the Moon at her feet, with the planets; Mercury-Venus framing Spica, and Mars aligned with Regulus in Leo. With the nine major stars of Leo, the addition of these 3 planets crowns Virgo with 12 stars. This is three days after the Rosh Hashanah/Shemita holy-day; 9-8-21, and the Trumpet Feast. Comet 8P Tuttle, also in Hydra, in its closest approach to Earth on 9-12-21, with Jupiter the king planet in Aquarius and Saturn nearby in Capricornus-depicting again Satan as a false-atoning sacrifice in Capricorn, seen not only in Jan 21‘, but also with Jupiter-Saturn’s Lunar union as Saturn passes into Capricornus; 6-24-20, three days after the Annular Solar eclipse marking the 1st motion of Comet 323P, that opened this “Year of the Comet” framed between two Blood Moons. As we can see, this 3-day gap seems to mirror the 3 days between Christ’s Birth on 9-11-3BC on Rosh Hashanah, and the 1st Jupiter-Regulus union in Leo, marking the triple coronation ceremony of the Lord Jesus Christ, written in the Stars in 3-2 BC, as seen below!

This Graphic shows the positions of Jupiter the King planet, triple crowning the King Star Regulus in Leo, Sept. 14th 3 BC, to Feb. 17th, 2 BC, and May 8th, 2 BC.

As this 3-day gap including the Hebrew New Year of Rosh Hashanah is mirrored both at the opening and closing of this Year of the Comet 323P, so also is the appearance of Saturn in Capricornus as the false atoning sacrifice, foreshadowing the anti-christ, aspects of Comet 323P. These signs frame the start and end of the motion of this Comet, along with other Comet’s we have pointed out like; 8P Tuttle, 2P Encke and Comet Panstarrs C/2017 T2. Comet Neowise C/2020 F3 also reappears here about 9-11-21 in Libra the scales of judgment, which is consistent with other Comet activity in Hydra-the serpent destroyed, and its decans; Crater and Corvus the Raven-carrion eater. As we take note of these 3-day gaps on Hebrew Feast and Holy days involving the Rev.12 sign, at a time reflecting the birth of Christ, we should also recall the 3-day gap at the end of Christ’s earthly ministry, that he spent in the heart of the earth, prior to his resurrection, as he conquered death for all mankind. As we celebrate this holiday this coming weekend, we should be mindful of our victory in Jesus, as we prepare for his Second Coming, to meet him in the Air!

Jupiter-Saturn Timeline the Celestial Prelude and the Coma Supernova.

Birth of Jesus Christ — **Biblical Astronomy of the Birth of Christ**

If you have been paying any attention to the night skies lately, you may have heard that Jupiter and Saturn are visible and have been prominent in the heavens over the last couple of months. This notable pair of gas giants has a long and distinguished history both in secular and sacred sky lore, and are due for their next normal union again on 12/21-22/20, in Aquarius on the winter solstice-the shortest day of the year. This marks the first Jupiter-Saturn conjunction since May 2000, and the closest Jupiter-Saturn conjunction since 1623, with only .10 of a degree separation.1 In the previous union 20 years prior in Dec. 1603, Johannes Kepler saw a regular union of Jupiter –Saturn, also named a “great conjunction” since its the union of the two largest planets in our solar system. This was followed by a massing of Mars with Jupiter-Saturn, when all three planets were close together in the sky. Kepler calculated that a similar union took place in 7 BC. This 7 BC conjunction was a triple union, though Jupiter and Saturn were not more than a degree apart. As we may have seen in recent national media, the current Jupiter-Saturn union is called the return of the Christmas Star, marking the birth of Christ, but this is the kind of confusion that specifically needs to be avoided, if we are to understand what really happened with the so-called “Star of Bethlehem.” Jupiter-Saturn triple unions also marked both the birth’s of Abraham and Moses, setting the stage for the birth of Christ. As we view the events leading up to and beyond the Bethlehem star, we find the vital role played by the unions of Jupiter-Saturn, in marking the birth of Christ, keeping in mind that the Promised Seed-Jesus Christ, had to be fully human as a Son of Adam, [Gen. 3:15] a Son of Abraham, [Genesis 13 & 15], and also a Son of David, [Gen. 49:9-10].

During this Holiday season, those of us who realize that Christ was NOT born on Dec. 25th, wonder if there is any Biblical significance to the remembrance of the birth of Christ at this time of year. Since much of the information on this blog and website shows proof of Christ’s birth on Sept. 11th, 3 BC, our certification that the Magi did not arrive in Jerusalem until December of 2 BC as the gospel of Matthew records;

Matt. 2:1-2
2 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem ²and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

What Star did the Magi see that led them to Jerusalem? It was the King planet Jupiter that in 7-6 BC was involved in a triple conjunction of Jupiter-Saturn in Pisces, that served as a “Celestial Prelude” to the triple conjunction of Jupiter-Regulus in 3-2 BC, marking the birth of Jesus Christ. The Magi were astronomer- kings from the eastern land of Persia, who upon observing Jupiter’s movements, got started on their intrepid journey across about 900 miles of hostile desert territory towards Jerusalem. They did not arrive until December of the next year, when King Herod organized a meeting with his chief priests and teachers of the law.

³When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. ⁴When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born.
⁵“In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

⁶“‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.”

⁷Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.

⁸He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

As the record denotes King Herod was not interested in “worshiping” Jesus, since he had all the children two years and under killed in Bethlehem. He would not have done this unless the exact time the star appeared to the Magi was close to the start of this 2-year time frame. The gospel also tells us the Magi found a “young child; paidion” in a House, not a new-born; brephos in a manger or Inn when they arrived, [Matt. 2:11]. This is why God warned the Magi of Herod’s treachery in a dream, to avoid Herod and take a different route to return to their homeland.

⁹After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. ¹⁰When they saw the star, they were over-
joyed.

The King Planet Jupiter guided the hearts of the Magi to be among the first Gentiles to recognize the only begotten Son of God, as it halted in retrograde motion over Jerusalem and Bethlehem-a few miles to the south. The banner heading this blog post shows the skies with Jupiter standing still in Virgo over Bethlehem, during the winter solstice when the Sun, the light of the world was also standing still. The word “Solstice” means “Sun stands still,” and it is not a coincidence that Jupiter the king planet was standing still over Bethlehem marking Jesus’ birthplace, while the Sun as the light of the world stood still also. What a joy and thrilling time this was for the Magi to follow with precision, the wandering stars or planets as the Creator set them in their orbits and celestial stations, to find the Promised Seed. Jupiter as “His Star” led the Magi to the dawning day of the Messiah, opening a way through the principles of Biblical Astronomy to the Redeemer-the Lord Jesus Christ.

The premise of a Celestial Prelude is based on the simple fact that God would not ordain the long-awaited birth of His only begotten son, the eternal purpose of the ages, without a little advanced notice. The concept of this Prelude is based on the Jupiter-Saturn triple conjunctions of 7-6 BC, that was not as close a union of these planets as the one next week. The triple union of 7-6 BC provided a basis for the Magi to recognize the triple conjunction of Jupiter-Regulus in 3-2BC, as the specific signs marking the birth of Christ. This prelude has two parts, the first-general the second-specific. Confusion of these two separate parts of the Celestial Prelude has caused much uncertainty surrounding the “Star of Bethlehem.” A good place to start thinking about the first part of this Prelude is: Where did the popular idea of a single bright star, obvious to all, marking Christ’s birth originate? The answer is found in what I referred to above as the General Sign of the Celestial Prelude, that alerted the Magi to the broader period when the promised seed would appear. The first decan, or sub-ordinate sign of Virgo was originally called Coma, seen in the Blog header above as the “L” shaped sign next to Virgo, meaning; the desired or longed for, as in the Book of Haggai.

Haggai 2:7.

7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

Numbers 24:17

17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

There is a celestial double meaning [Num. 24:17] in the phrase: Star out of Jacob, with connotations for both the general and specific aspects of our Celestial Prelude. The new star, or supernova in the head of the child in Coma, visible for over 275 years, was the general sign, the Star out of Jacob, that prepared the Magi to watch for the specific aspects of the second part of the Celestial Prelude, which included the Jupiter-Saturn triple unions of 7-6BC in Pisces. We find this second aspect of Balaam’s prophecy relating to the scepter, symbolic of the reign of the king Planet-Jupiter. As we progress through our study it becomes evident that Jupiter was the planet that the Magi called “his Star” in Matthew 2:2. The Magi noted the triple Conjunction of signs from 7-6 BC, of Jupiter–Saturn, that gave them a blueprint for the actual signs marking Christ’s birth, starting in 3BC. An early sign on August 12th, 3 BC motivated them to begin their caravan to Jerusalem. Both of these aspects of the General and Specific celestial signs marking the birth of Christ are found in the study on “The Stars Over Bethlehem,“ along with the chart below provide further details of what the Magi observed in the skies overhead at the Messiah’s birth, in both Virgo and Coma. The first decan of Virgo called Coma, is seen in the Dendera zodiac as a seated mother nourishing her young son. Coma is the Hebrew name of this Constellation that means “the desired.” The Egyptian name for this decan of Virgo was Shes-nu the desired son,3 [Hag. 2:7].

The Prophet Daniel taught the Magi and other astronomers of the king Nebuchadnezzar’s court [Dan. 5: 11] about these planetary unions from the contemporary example of a Jupiter-Saturn triple union 523-522 BC in Virgo. Less than 400 years later, near 128 BC a new star as the Coma supernova exploded onto the scene, in a decan of the sign Virgo in the head of the child called Coma. This is a key when we remember that much of this history was based on the teachings of the Prophet Daniel, who became master of the Magi, and the Chaldeans and stargazers of the King’s Court in Babylon. He continued to preside over this august group in the reign of Darius I, [Dan. 6:1-3] when the Persians took control of the Babylonian empire. Daniel’s influence on the genuine sect of the Magi, not the Magicians who followed the occult and Astrology, paths represented a critical impact on the astronomical doctrines of these Gentile scientists, especially regarding the widely held belief in the general sign marking the coming Messiah during this period in history. Obviously the Magi were aware
of the truths of the Celestial gospel concerning the coming redeemer, since it was their unrivaled expertise in Astronomy that led them to Jerusalem following Jupiter, in the first place.

Kepler mapped, the progress of grand conjunctions of Jupiter-Saturn through the zodiac describing a series of equilateral triangles (Fig. 2). Every sixty years a triangle is completed, and the conjunction returns to start, shifting however nine degrees anticlockwise in respect to its predecessors, thus generating a cycle of 800 years.

So the whole cycle is really a set of interlocking cycles, each inside the other, lasting 20 years, 200 years, 800 years, and 2,400 years. 6 Jupiter and Saturn will enter a regular union about every 20 years. During the last millennium BC, however, no less than 7 triple conjunctions also took place – one every 140 years, on average – as the interval varied from 40 years (as between 861 and 821 BC and again between 563 and 523 BC), to 377 years (as between 523 BC and 146 BC). Over the millennium there were 43 “normal” Jupiter-Saturn unions and 7 “triple” conjunctions. In the Chart below we have mapped key Jupiter-Saturn unions during the period of visibility of the Coma Supernova, since this marked the center point of Messianic expectations.

This chart shows not only the time frame of the visibility of the Coma Supernova, but also pertinent Jupiter-Saturn unions related to this Celestial Prelude along with key Blood Moons, Halley’s Comet, the Rev. 12 signs, and the Jupiter-Regulus triple union of 3-2 BC, all linked to the birth of Christ and the Temple at Jerusalem being destroyed. It thus seems fitting that the destruction of the Temple was also prophesied by Christ, just as the Temple veil was rent in twain at his crucifixion, since the spiritual body of Christ has replaced the stone temple. “Destroy this temple” [Jn. 2:19, Matt. 26:61, Mk. 14:58]

Zech. 6:12-13 “Thus speaks the Lord of Hosts, saying behold the man whose name is the Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.” v. 13 “Even he shall build the Temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.” [king-priest unity]

Halley’s Comet is a short-period comet visible from Earth every 75–76 years. Halley is the only known short-period comet that is regularly visible to the naked eye from Earth. Halley’s Comet inspired both fascination and horror in its early observers. Comets were often considered a bad omen, and it was linked to everything from the death of kings to natural disasters. A well-known Chinese reference to Halley’s Comet was found in the Han Dynasty’s “Records of the Grand Historian,” which describes a “broom star” that appeared in the sky in 240 B.C. Other early sightings came from the Babylonians, who recorded the comet’s 164 B.C. and 87 B.C. appearances. The 164 BC sighting was recorded in cuneiform on a clay tablet between 22nd and 28th of Sept, 164 BC in Babylon. This was about 20 months after the Abomination Desolation in the Jerusalem Temple carried out by Antiochus IV, who took the Seleucid throne of Syria in 175 BC. In 167 BC Antiochus sent troops to suppress the Jerusalem revolt, also halting the daily Temple sacrifices [Dan. 8:11] and polluting it in, 167-164 BC. A 12 BC sighting of Halley from Rome, took place only 5 years before the triple union of Jupiter-Saturn in 7 BC, so that some have erroneously taken Halley’s Comet as an actual sign of Christ’s Birth.

It is amazing that Josephus, a non-believing Jewish historian, would record Halley’s and other signs from God leading up to the ultimate destruction of Jerusalem and the end of the Jewish Age. It’s also significant that the day of the Temple’s destruction in AD 70 was the anniversary of the day and month that the previous Jewish Temple was destroyed. 8

The historian Flavius Josephus described the comet of 66 A.D. as a “star resembling a sword” and considered it a portent of the Temple’s destruction in Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD. Titus the Roman conqueror reportedly refused to accept a wreath of victory, saying that the victory did not come through his own efforts but that he had merely served as an instrument of God’s wrath. 9

Over the last 2200 years the history of Blood Moon Tetrads dating to the 168-166BC marked the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple along with Peter’s Sermon opening the Age of Grace, [Acts 2:20] has seen a steady progression of Bible Prophecy related to Israel, being progressively fulfilled. This includes celestial prophecies of the Jerusalem Temple’s Destruction also spoken by Jesus, marked with Blood Moons fulfilled in 70 AD.

We witnessed the dispersion of the Jews around the world, as we have seen the Jews return to a reformed state of Israel in 1948-1950, marked by a Blood Moon Tetrad. In 1967-68 we saw the 6-day war with Egypt, when Jerusalem was first reclaimed under Israel’s control, since 70 AD, marked by a Blood Moon Tetrad, all leading to the next logical step of prophecies to re-build a Third Jerusalem Temple.

If these dates look familiar to those following my Biblical Astronomy Blog [blog.try-god.org], as the first 2 Total Solar Eclipses of 2016 form a continuation of Solar and Lunar signs on Hebrew Feast and Holy days after the Blood Moon Tetrad of 2014-15. Due to a lack of consensus on the appearance of Aviv Barley in Israel, the alignment of these solar eclipses with Hebrew Feast and holy days went mostly unnoticed in 2016. But they are key as they represent a direct link to the Aug. 21^st, 2017 Pan-American Total Solar eclipse. A key detail on the 2nd Blood Moon of each lunar triple bracketing the 2014-2015 Blood Moon Tetrad is that it was visible over Jerusalem, providing a direct link with Blood Moon Tetrad to the razing of the Jerusalem Temple in the Hebrew Sabbath years of 587-586 BC and 69-70 AD. Nebuchadnezzar burnt the Temple in 587-586 BC [2 Chron. 36:17-20], and in 69-71 AD, Titus and his Roman legions burnt the Temple. In both cases Jerusalem lay desolate for the next 50 years on the Jubilee Calendar. 10

Its also noteworthy that the triple union of Jupiter-Regulus marking the birth of Christ, in 3-2BC is linked to the Temple destruction in Jerusalem foretold by Christ [Matt. 24:2], since the next Jupiter-Regulus conjunction did not recur till Oct. 15th, 69 AD. 11 The Rev. 12 heavenly sign marking the birth of Christ occurred 3 days prior to the first of the Jupiter-Regulus triple unions of 3-2 BC, also followed by a Rev. 12 sign in 70 AD.

In this graphic, the woman has a crown of twelve stars, with Jupiter and Venus in such close union they appear to merge into one Star just as they did in 2 BC, except this time in the lower rear paw of Leo. The Sun is clothing Virgo and the Moon near her feet. The planets Jupiter and Venus are also aligned with Mercury-Gabriel and the King Star Regulus in Leo. What is extraordinary with this version of the Rev. 12 Sign is that it occurs in the center of the solar and lunar eclipses falling on Hebrew Feast and holy days as they also marked the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple in 70 AD.

In this overview of both the general and specific signs of the Celestial Prelude, the General sign, the Coma Supernova found below, was visible for over 275 years, while of signs from 7-5 BC, focus on the triple union of Jupiter-Saturn during this period. These signs allowed the Magi to recognize the stellar details of the long awaited prophecy of the coming of the promised seed. Also during this same period referred to by Ptolemy, shekels from Judea struck during the period of the second revolt, [132-135 AD] bear the design of a bright star over the Jerusalem Temple, called Bar Kaukab. The leader of the Second Revolt was Shim’on Bar Koseba. He was known as Bar Kochba, meaning “Son of the Star,” in reference to Messianic expectations of (Num. 24:17): “There shall step forth a star (kochab) out of Jacob,” shewing the dual reference to Jupiter and the Coma Supernova of this prophecy.

Here the Temple is pictured with the Ark of the Covenant between its central pillars. This coin with the bright star over the Temple is assumed to refer to Shimon the “Son of the Star“ and leader of this revolt, but it could have also been a logical reference to the supernova that appeared in the head of the woman’s son in Coma‘s lap, the desired of the nations, and perhaps even a providential reference to Jesus as the true temple. Why would we even consider this as a possibility? Because the approximate 275 year period of visibility of the Coma Supernova began about 125 years before the birth of Christ according to Hipparchus, with the appearance of this new Star over the Jerusalem Temple. The impact of this “new star” was seen in one of the leading sages of that time-known as Rabbi Akiva, proclaimed Bar Kochba as the Messiah. This not only shows the Messianic expectations of this period, but also the impact of this New Star in the skies over Jerusalem, doubtlessly contributing to Shimon’s moniker as “Son of the Star,” commemorated by the coin above. It was this kind of Messianic expectation that permeated Jerusalem at the time.

E.W. Bullinger uncovers below, the popular belief regarding this general sign that was prevalent in and before the first century BC: “a traditional prophecy well known in the East, carefully preserved and handed down, that a new star would appear in this sign [Coma] when he whom it foretold, would be born.” ¹⁵ This tradition was at least partially based on Balaam’s declaration in Numbers 24, meaning that Balaam’s prophecy in [Num. 24:17] holds, for our purposes, minimally a two fold import, as referenced previously.

During the rule of Darius I “the Mede” that the Prophet Daniel presided over his Court Astronomers and Chaldeans. Drawing on the rich astronomical traditions of the Biblical Patriarchs not to mention, the famous astronomical expertise of the Persian Magi, Daniel’s potent influence convinced Darius to adopt the salient principles of Biblical Astronomy in the period circa 522 BC. Certain key aspects of Zoroastrianism agreed with the Biblical standard practiced by the Hebrews, carried on by Daniel. The Magi would certainly have been familiar with Daniel’s prophecy concerning the 70 weeks judged on Jerusalem relating to the coming Messiah, [Dan. 9:2, 24-27]. Daniel’s influence had the added effect of preserving the astronomical truths of the promised seed, contained in the form of the zodiacal narrative, which God put in the most capable hands of the time.

The Caravan of the Magi

Tis background on the Magi sheds light on the secular history of the Blood Moon Lunar cycle going back as far as ancient Sumeria, because the Sumerian name for the great lunar eclipse cycle was also called the saros. This word traces to a basic Babylonian unit of measure, also called a “sar,” revealed ancient elements of the sacred celestial rule of measure. This lunation consisted of 18 years, 11 (10.96) days, was utilized by the Chaldean priests to predict eclipses. The Chaldeans also had a period of 3600 (60 x 60) years that they also called a saros. Again we see the Sexegesimal number pattern behind the heavenly order, including the cycle of the Moon joining Saturn and Jupiter every 60 years in their celestial dance. Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions exhibit the essence of the “base 60” number system as part of its function as a cornerstone of ancient cosmology, adding context to the Celestial Prelude marking the birth of Christ. It also opens a window on the “celestial mechanism” framing the heavenly order, called precession.

Both of these Gas Giants frame the ancient solar system as its two outer-most naked-eye planets, as they open a window on the precession of the equinoxes. It also shows a unity between the inner and outer solar system planets with Saturn’s 29.5-year orbit and the 29.5-day lunar cycle on a year-day basis. Saturn embodies half the Sexegesimal order of the solar system, formatted in the orbits of these two gas giants, the other half being Jupiter’s near 12-year cycle spending a year in each zodiacal sign, even as the Sun spends a month in each of the 12 signs. The solar half of the order is seen in a division of 60, by twelve: (12 x 5), and the lunar half in a division by 30 [30 x 2], both multiples of sixty. This aspect of the numerical order of the solar system exhibiting it’s base 60 order was ultimately designed by the Creator according to the basis of the phi ratio.

The Babylonian “Sar” is doubtlessly related to the Hebrew word [*H8269] of the same spelling, meaning; “prince, captain, chief, ruler, leader, head.”16 The word has retained this meaning even in modern usage, as in the Tsar of all the Russia’s. It is used in Daniel 10:13 & 20, referring the archangel Michael who dispatched the fallen angel (Daimon) who opposed the messenger angel that God sent to answer Daniel’s prayer. In Isaiah 9:6, one of the great prophecies of the promised seed, it is used of the Messiah as Sar-Shalom; the Prince of Peace, the one who brings peace to all Creation [Eph. 2:11-18].

Kepler was also intrigued by the idea that there might be an affinity between this series of planetary unions, keyed by the appearance of the 1603 supernova. It is important however, that we notice that Kepler was not only the first I’m aware of, to suggest a planetary Conjunction scenario to explain the “Star of Bethlehem,” but he was also the first to connect a supernova with these unions and relate it to what the Magi had seen.

Taking a closer look at the 7 BC Jupiter-Saturn triple union involves attention to each conjunction, starting with the May 27th union. The first Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn shows the authority of the scepter of God’s kingdom resident with Lucifer in his first estate as the Angel of light, in the first Heavens and Earth. He alone was set apart in his authority over the angels, [Gen. 1:1] before man was created in the second Heavens and Earth, [Gen. 1:2]. These truths of the the first Heaven and Earth, where only the angels dwelt are symbolized in the first Jupiter-Saturn union of 7BC. In the heavenly signs that followed, outside of the clearly marked two-year period from September 15th 7BC to September 15th 5BC, the rest of these specific preliminary signs are found in the Fig. 1 chart. Its purpose is to mark the first estate of Lucifer as the original bright and Morning Star, second only to God the Creator, in the first heaven and earth and head over all the angels as arch-angel of light. Let’s digress here and set the background of Lucifer’s history according to the accuracy of God’s Word written in the stars, and in Scripture. This first sign refers to Lucifer in his original estate [Job 38:4-7] as the “star of the morning” as Isaiah 14 tells us:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Lucifer’s demise is also indicated in the astronomical mechanism known as the precession of the poles, with the star Thuban: alpha draconis, the brightest star in Draco the dragon, as the original pole star. The precession of the poles is indicative of the fall of Lucifer, because the pole star has moved from Draco and now resides near Polaris, or Al Ruccaba of the “little flock” of Ursa Minor. The pole star between the feet of the crowned king Cepheus, depicts Jesus Christ in at least two ways. First, as the prominent king, and new Chief Cornerstone, since Cepheus is the crowned king, even as Regulus the king star, is between the feet of Leo, the Lion king of Judah; [Gen.49:10]. Cepheus also means ” the branch” and is depicted as a king holding a branch at the north pole, [Jer. 23:5, 33:15].

Johannes Kepler, made a detailed study of the moving geometry of the sky, represented the periods of the planets by geometric figures with values based on the fundamental divisions of the circle into four, six and twelve sections measuring 90º, 60º and 30º. He made a model that related the five Platonic solids to the planetary orbits where the cube occupied the space between the orbits of Saturn and Jupiter, and the tetrahedron between Jupiter and Mars. Since then many mind-boggling mathematical relationships have been discovered between the planets’ cycles, sizes and distances from each other, as well as their speed and axis inclinations, and even their rates of spin. These findings point to the presence of Intelligent designer of the universe. They prove that, rather than evolving randomly, the sun together with the planets and their moons form a unified, living system of the greatest order and elegance. 17

Kepler viewed the planetary order along the lines of the “Music of the Sphere’s,” unifying the basis for the outer and inner planets. One of the ways this is found in the geometric harmony of the solar system, is in the orbits of the gas giants; Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus. The diagram below depicts the outer, mean and inner orbits of Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter using an equilateral triangle and an octagram. This is also a way of illustrating the structure of the musical Octave, with the eight pointed star that halves or doubles the wavelengths or frequencies of the musical scale, when an equilateral triangle contains an inscribed inner circle with 1/2 the diameter of its outer circle, seen in Fig. 8.

The geometry of this diagram not only depicts the musical order of these outer solar system planets, but since Jupiter and Saturn’s orbits are in the proportion of 6:11 to 99.99% accuracy, this is the octave or double of the 3:11 Moon to Earth ratio, to 99.9% accuracy, revealing a geometric harmony between the outer and inner planets.19

So when the size of the Moon is compared to the Earth, in the figure below, the circle through the center of the Moon is equal to a circumference of the perimeter of the Square enclosing the Earth. This Square also embodies the base of the dimensions of the Great Pyramid, whose apex touches the circle in the center of the Moon.

The geometric order of the outer planets is further uncovered in the conjunctions of Jupiter-Saturn. The foundation of the geometry of the six-sided star of Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions is uniquely found in the hexagram construct at the north pole of the planet Saturn, [Figure 9]. In this graphic we are beholding the amazing basis of the geometric pattern of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction cycle seen in the upper right corner of Figure 10. below.

All six points of the hexagram or star tetrahedron can be enclosed by a circle or globe and if we add the planetary oppositions to the geometry of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions, the six-pointed star is formed, on a basis of the hexagram, in the center of the upper corner of (Fig. 10). The hexagram forms the cornerstone of the six pointed “Star of David” that maps the Jupiter-Saturn unions below. In May 2010 the final opposition stage in the current sixty-year cycle was reached with Jupiter in Pisces opposing Saturn in Virgo, and the last line in the current hexagram was drawn, with conjunctions marked outside the zodiac, and oppositions marked inside. 20

When mapped, the progress of the grand conjunctions through the zodiac describes a series of equilateral triangles (Fig 10). Every 60 years a triangle is completed, and the conjunction returns to start, shifting however nine degrees anticlockwise in respect to its predecessors, thus creating a cycle of 800 years. Every 200 years the triangles change astrological elements. From 1226-1425 they occurred in air signs, 1425-1603 in water, 1603-1802 in fire and from 1802 to 2000 in earth. 22 But from a Biblical Astronomy perspective, we would view the cycles of Jupiter and Saturn appearing in various zodiacal constellations around the ecliptic noting Biblical symbolism of each sign, combined with the planetary meanings and Biblical numerics to ascertain the meaning of these movements, in the context of Precessional and Biblical ages with sacred Geometry principles like the Phi, Pi and Lucas ratio relations, as found in the Great Pyramid. This also takes into account categories of Heavenly Signs, Hebrew Feast and holy days, and Jubilee cycles, among other considerations.

An example of sacred Phi geometry is found in the 3rd graphic, the lowest above, that displays the Phi ratio relation between the orbital speeds of Earth and Jupiter-Saturn. As the planets move anti-clockwise around the ecliptic, seen in the dotted lines of this graphic, viewed from Earth, Jupiter-Saturn are aligned at the Noon position, Jupiter’s orbital speed is in the Phi relation to slower moving Saturn. This shows added cases of the Phi ratio order in our solar system.23

Since the the six-pointed star of David is based on the hexagram at its center, with six equilateral triangles fit to each of the six sides of the cornerstone hexagram, it is only fitting that a six sided cube would also fill the cornerstone center hexagram, as seen in Figure 11 above. Since Saturn is viewed mythologically as Satan’s planet, we find many references to the number six linked to Saturn. The number of the beast-666 in Revelation is common knowledge, as 6 is the biblical number of Man, but the Black Cube is more obscure. Also known as the devil’s number, the number 6 springs up just too many times to be a coincidence with correlation to Saturn.24

Saturn is the 6^th planet in the solar system.
Saturn forms the name ‘Saturday’, which is the sixth day of the week.
Saturn’s north-pole is six-sided.
Saturn has 6 most well-defined rings- the seventh one is quite faint.

Saturn could be known as Time Lord because his orbit, like a scythe, divides the sky into sections. In his book The Matrix of Creation Richard Heath makes a case for the numerical factors of Saturn’s cycle being used as the basis for ancient calendars. He points out that Saturn undergoes 28 retrograde loops during his 29-year cycle, so 28 is a Saturn number, and reflected in the 28 mansions of the moon – the Nakshatstras – as well as in the 56 Aubrey holes at Stonehenge, which Heath believes measure 2/28-year Saturn cycles, calibrating with intervals of two months. He suggests that the myth of Jupiter deposing Saturn refers to the replacement of Saturn based calendars by calendars derived from the Jupiter numbers of 12 and 60. Ancient measuring units such as the megalithic yard are also derived from the numerical factors of Jupiter’s orbit, thus in a very concrete sense Saturn and Jupiter are lords of time and space.25 We find similar dimensions close to these standards of measure in the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle also.

Solomon's Temple

The sacred symbolism of the Tabernacle, reflecting the 7-day temporal order that man was to follow in

fellowship with the Almighty, is formed on the lunar calendar embodied in the internal and external

Tabernacle measures. According to T. Paine, who first suggested an endwise union of either set of

Tabernacle curtains from Josephus forward, depicts the internal Tabernacle measurements as 12

cubits wide, by 29.5 cubits long, versus the external measures of 12, 1/3 cubits wide by 30 cubits long. This represents an alternating lunar calendar of 29.5 and 30 lunar days in a month, a long-standing order in
360-day calendar years. The 12 cubit measure shows the 12 months of the solar year, while the 29.5 cubits embodies the lunar synodic month of 29.53059 days, or 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, and 2.37

seconds. We see this also in the time between 2 full or New Moons as 29, 43/81 days, for internal dimensions

of the Tabernacle curtains. The Tabernacle’s external measures of 12, 1/3 cubits wide, by 30 cubits long,

show 12.368 synodic months per year, or 12, and 7/19‘s, by the 30 days of the solar month. 26.

As we have noted, key Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions are recognized in close relation to the precession of the equinoxes in the Hebrew cosmology seen in Genesis 1:6-10, and the world-views of ancient cultures including, Sumeria, Babylon, Egypt and in the Meso-Americas. According to this pattern, Jupiter-Saturn triple unions occur in Pisces only once every 800 years. This exhibits how this planetary Conjunction series subdivides the precession, which totals a period of about 25,920 years, because every 30 cycles of Jupiter-Saturn triple conjunctions in Pisces total the period of 24,000 years, a time near to the full cycle of precession.

According to Peter Thompkins, Mayans also; “calculated the orbit of the Earth about the Sun as 365.2420 days, and marked the close of the year by the erection of a stone they called a “tun.” They did likewise for a twenty-year cycle or “Katun,” a period they considered governed by the Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn.” ²⁷

Thompkins continues by saying that; “The Maya had a very special sacred year of 260 days called tzolkin, that the Aztecs called tonalamatl.” This 260-day sacred calendar was “divided into 13 months of 20 days and the multiples of 13 and 20 became the heart of a chronological computation, stunning in its simplicity and exactness. A greater cycle of 260 years was 13 consecutive Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction cycles of 20 years.”

This greater 260-year cycle based on the cycle of Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions, was also a tool anciently utilized by the Mayans to break down the very long cycle of the precession of the equinoxes. Thompkins states that: the “Maya also had a cycle of 942,890 days, or 2,582 years, that turned out to be 130 Jupiter-Saturn Conjunctions.” Twice this cycle [5,163 years], not only gave the equivalent of the greater 260-year cycle of Jupiter-Saturn unions, but 100 of these greater 260-year cycles was equal to 26,000 years, often reckoned the length of the precession by the ancients.²⁸

The tetrahedron or pyramid – the three dimensional form of the two-dimensional triangle, which is basic to the Saturn-Jupiter cycle is found below.

Perhaps the highest compliment we can pay the Magi is that they were genuine Gentile believers who sought for, & accurately anticipated the first coming of Jesus Christ, according to the true science of Astronomy that they applied from their own traditions of Zoroastrianism. As Matthew 2:10 states; they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. The exceeding greatness of their joy, however was not founded upon their sighting of “his star” only, but on both the general and specific signs of this Celestial Prelude, and all that Jupiter represented regarding the first coming of Jesus Christ the promised seed written in the stars. Thus we can also see a reason for their joy, because as Rolleston quoting Abulfaragius states:

“Zeradusht {Zoroaster} taught the Persians that in the latter times a virgin should bring forth a son, and that when he should be born a star should appear, and should shine and be conspicuous in the midst of the figure of the virgin. It is then said that he commanded his disciples, the Magi, when they should see the star, that they should go forth where it directed them, and offer gifts to him that should be born.”⁸ (emphasis mine)

This confirms what we have already seen in Zoroastrian writings concerning the coming of the promised seed. The Magi would certainly have been joyfully awestruck when they realized the dual witness of the supernova
in Coma, along with “his star,” the king planet Jupiter at rest in Virgo’s mid-section, on their way to Bethlehem, fulfilling their part in the prophecy written in the stars.

The Magi truly desired the realization of the Hope of all Mankind as ambassadors for all Gentiles, the Magi came paying homage to the King of kings, who would rule all nations. The Heavenly Father showed His love and care for these early Gentile believers, as He delivered them from the enemy’s deceptive wrath manifested in Herod, by the phenomena of divine revelation. The Magi are thus appropriate emissaries for all believing Gentiles as they were guided by God’s Hand, to herald the revival of the accurate teaching of the celestial epistles as the Creator’s undeniable witness of Nature to all the world. God has set aside myriad wondrous secrets in the stars for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, and with hearts to discern the hidden depths of the mysteries viewed in spiritual retrospect, that also informs Biblical Prophecy of current events. It was the faith of the Magi that distinguished them in history, not only as consummate scientists, but also shining lights showing the way to the revelation of the promised Messiah for all people of the Earth.

The Structure of the Hebrew Menorah and the Pi ratio.

In our annual recognition of Pi Day. March 14th of every year [3.14] we are reposting the following blog related to the Hebrew Menorah and the Pi ratio. The Menorah is one of the sacred pieces of “furniture” in the Hebrew Temple & Tabernacle, that themselves were designed by the Creator using universal constants like Pi/Phi in addition to the Ark of the Covenant.

The Structure of the Hebrew Menorah and the Pi ratio.

This blog post is an expansion on my original study called “The Biblical Cosmology of the Hebrew Menorah” on my website [www.try-god.com]. The first study focused more on the history of astronomy and cosmology, with an emphasis on the Precession of the Equinoxes, and the potential impact of a Biblical Cosmology. This current study shifts focus to a greater emphasis on the Biblical aspects of the Menorah’s structure, and the implications of this structure. I am including the introduction to the original study along with some of the mathematical aspects of the first study, mainly pertaining to the structure of the Menorah and the Pi ratio.

The traditional concept of the history of cosmology reads as a timeline of the “discoveries” of the greatest scientists. Men like Ptolemy, Galileo, Copernicus, Kepler, Newton, Einstein and Hubble are the shining lights of scientific progress, and certainly human science owes these men much. According to conventional history, the idea of a heliocentric “universe” or solar system, originated in ancient Greece, specifically Aristarchus of Samos back in the second century BC. This idea however, did not catch on in a big way until Copernicus, who while reviewing some of Aristarchus’ ideas, seized upon this concept and ran with it. He did this at his own peril due to the prevailing worldview of the time, especially that of the Roman Catholic Church, based on a geocentric view of the solar system espoused by Ptolemy, that held sway in intellectual and religious circles for over 1500 years. The graphic below from Harmonica Macrocosmica [A. Cellarius, Amsterdam 1660] 1 depicts a Sun-centered, Copernican view of the cosmos.

This article on Biblical cosmology depicts the idea of a heliocentric “universe” predated the Second Century BC and Aristarchus, by at least 1300 years, and its genuine roots are found in the OT Scriptures. From a historical perspective, this is a potentially radical statement, sure to have many critics however, once the following Biblical evidence is viewed in light of the principles of Biblical Astronomy, the foundations of this concept are inescapable. This article supplies an example of potential revisionist power that Biblical Astronomy can have on the conventional view of the History of Astronomy.

This study examines the celestial symbolism of the sacred Hebrew candlestick instituted under Moses and the Levite priests of the Old Testament. The Menorah is a divine piece of furniture that was kept in the holy place of the Hebrew Tabernacle, which contained the Altar of Incense, the Table of Shewbread and the Veil through which the Holy of the Holies was accessible. As a powerful symbol from God’s Word, the Menorah embodies an extensive Biblical cosmology, including both the Hebrew zodiac of twelve major Constellations, with its thirty-six decans, and a heliocentric concept of the solar system, centuries before Homer wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey! God revealed the divine plans of the Tabernacle to Moses in the mid-2nd millennium BC, in the 14th century.

The various elements of the structure of this Candlestick follows the order of the Torah in the first five books of the Pentateuch. The structure of this sacred seven-branched Candlestick was said to embody the light of the Torah in seven categories or individual aspects of this Lamp as follows: 2

1. The seven branches of the Candelabra are built on the first seven words of Gen. 1:1.

GENESIS 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” As we will see below, the sevenfold pattern of the Menorah embodies the Creator’s spiritual and temporal order as the Creator’s three-fold light is shed in Creation, evident on multi-levels in God’s Word, and culture of Israel, including their mathematical, astronomical and religious aspects. A primary area where the mathematical and astronomical aspects of the Menorah structure intersect as seen in Judean Time-keeping.

2. The Seven Lamps of the Menorah supported by its seven Branches, shed their light kindled by the High Priest by burning the pure Olive oil, symbolizing the anointing of the holy spirit. [Ex. 27:21, 1Sam. 3:3]

The ancient Biblical truths of the Almighty Creator God, Who rested on the 7th day, defined division of time, based on the Creation Week. God’s Creation of the Sun, Moon and Stars to mark signs, seasons, days and years, divided and separated between the light and darkness of these heavenly bodies, providing a universal temporal order for the earth. The Seasons and appointed times [moed] depict the holy feasts when man was to recognize special calendar times ordained by the Almighty, according to a mandate from heaven, to honor God’s Covenant relationship with man. These sacred Spring and Fall feasts relate to the sevenfold Menorah Branch structure seen in Fig. 2 below.

The standard order of Creation Week is inherent in Genesis 1-2. This Creation Week set the Sabbath pattern, found in the 7 x 4=28; Lunar Mansions. The transition from the end of one lunar phase to commencement of the next lunar phase is a most revered calendar unit across world cultures. In this way, God set aside the Sabbath Day as holy, consecrating the Sabbath in Israel for all time, which is a big reason why Israel has abided by a lunar calendar. We also find historical recognition of the influence of this seven-fold pattern in various septenary units of measurement. The Egyptian Royal cubit was composed of 7 hands or 28 fingers, as a standard cubit, with a 7th hand added. In truth, Gen. 1:1 has 7 Hebrew words with a total of 28 letters. By dividing 28 times the product of the letters by seven times, the product of the words, a calculation of the Pi ratio results. 4 This is a practical reckoning from the ancient world seen below, with astronomical and calendar applications. “According to a septenary system of reckoning, the circumference of a circle was considered 22/7 of the circle’s diameter, as an approximation of the Pi ratio=3 1/7 or 3.142857, which is still applied as an adequate calculation for many engineering problems today.” 5

The following information comes from Leo Tavares and his website on Mathematical Monotheism, [https://sites.google.com/site/mathematicalmonotheism/the-genesis-1-1-mirror-code]. Since the Hebrew Alphabet is alpha-numeric, where every letter in their alphabet is also a specific number, below are the “numerical values of the 22 letters in the Biblical Hebrew alphabet, as they relate to Genesis 1:1:

GENESIS 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”

Thus the numeric values of these seven Hebrew words are as follows

913 + 203 + 86 + 401 + 395 + 407 + 296 = 37 × 73

A note from Tavares on his site on #37 is; “For the sum of the Fibonacci numbers indexed to the first 37 decimal digits of Phi (after the decimal point) = 401.” This shows a relation between the Pi and Phi ratios, that we have previously illustrated in various blog posts.

Not only does the center word value of Genesis 1:1 stand out as its only PRIME word value, it stands out as its SHORTEST word. In fact, it is made up of the first and the last letters of the Hebrew Alphabet (the Aleph and the Tav). As God is the FIRST and the LAST in (Isaiah 44:6): This verse in Isaiah of 7 Hebrew words read as follows:

ISAIAH 44:6 “I am the FIRST, and I am the LAST; and beside me there is no God”

Since the Creator God, Almighty fittingly is set in the center of these 7 words like, the central candle of the Menorah between the other six candles, [Rev. 1:20] this highlights the Biblical teaching that God is the FIRST and LAST (Isaiah 44:6):

ALEPH + TAV = 401

This reveals an internal code of mirror symmetry in Genesis 1:1 that the sum of the Prime Factors of the three words to the LEFT of 401 yields the same value as the Prime Factors to the RIGHT of 401. Below are the Prime Factors of the Genesis 1:1 word values:

Genesis 1:1 in the original Hebrew:

הארץ ואת השמים את אלהים ברא בראשית

913 + 203 + 86 + 401 + 395 + 407 + 296 = 2701

This is summarized below:

913 = 11 × 83
203 = 7 × 29
86 = 2 × 43

401 = 401

395 = 5 × 79
407 = 11 × 37
296 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 37

LEFT PRIME FACTOR SUM:

(11 + 83) + (7 + 29) + (2 + 43) = 175

RIGHT PRIME FACTOR SUM:

(5 + 79) + (11 + 37) + (2 + 2 + 2 + 37) = 175

LEFT/RIGHT PRIME FACTOR SYMMETRY:

175 (401) 175

As God is the FIRST and the LAST in (Isaiah 44:6): The numerical value of the seven Hebrew words in this passage is as follows:

61 + 557 + 67 + 265 + 162 + 61 + 86 = 1259

This number is directly tied to 401 through the mathematics of a Circle. How? Aside from the fact that the numerical value of “ISAIAH” = 401, a Circle with a circumference of 1259 units yields a diameter of 401 units, according to the Pi formula.

THE CIRCLE OF THE FIRST AND THE LAST

“I am the FIRST, and I am the LAST; and beside me there is no God” (Isaiah 44:6) = 1259

DIAMETER = 401 units

“ISAIAH” = 401

FIRST + LAST Hebrew letters = 1 + 400 =

The Aleph and the Tav are the FIRST/LAST letters of the 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. The PRIME FACTOR SUM of the 22 Hebrew letter values points right back to “The Circle of The First and The Last” that we just saw. Remarkably, it yields the PRIME ORDER of 1259.“ 6

The Pi ratio of the first and last letters of the Hebrew Alphabet also correspond to the Alpha/Omega of the first and last signs of the Hebrew Mazzaroth, as seen in the Great Sphinx.

This practical reckoning of the pi ratio also relates to the 22 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, including 7 vowels, providing a linguistic and mathematical blueprint for Israel. As with all language systems, the Hebrew alphabet is a system of writing expressing a language’s sounds, both consonants and vowels, by
means of single letters. Alphabets can function to move beyond outer appearances, and access deeper meanings in reality. Alphabets embody the presence of the infinite within the finite. Since the Creator spoke all Creation into reality, the Almighty chose the Hebrew language and Semitic culture as the primary carrier and access point for in-depth concepts leading the presence of God within His Holy Word, and fellowship in His Temple. This includes a key function of the alphabet; to enable the seeker to experience spiritual growth processes in fellowship with his Maker, via a series of accessible, substantive and systematic images, whereby the Almighty chose to reveal Himself.

This correlates to the structure of the Menorah which contains a total of 22 cups; 3 on each branch [6×3=18], plus four cups on the central servant branch [18+4=22]. This corresponds to the first 22 words of Deut. 1:1;

Deut. 1:1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab

We find this structure laid out also in the 11 fruits of the Menorah linked to the first 11 words of Exodus 1:1;

Ex.1:1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob

There are also 9 flowers at the top of each branch before the Lamps, [Num. 8:4] built into the Menorah, which correlate to the first 9 words of Leviticus 1:1;

Levi. 1:1 And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

As the Father of Lights the Almighty shed His spiritual light as it translated in the physical realm so that it would register to the human senses. The Electro-magnetic light spectrum that registers to human vision is depicted below. This electromagnetic spectrum is generally divided into seven sectors, in order of decreasing wavelength and increasing energy and frequency.

Gen, 1:4-5
Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. We must remember what John 1:5 tells us about the relationship between light and darkness;

“And the light [God] shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

In the book Jesus Christ is not God, regarding John 1:5, V.P.W stated; “The clause in verse 5 is a general rather than a specific statement regarding light and darkness, it does not refer to a specific lime in the past, in the present or in the future, but rather it is making a general statement about all time. Darkness is the absence of Light. Light, heat and all forms of energy are measured in terms of the positive never the negative. The negative is the absence of the positive. Even from a scientific viewpoint there is no way darkness can comprehend light since darkness is the absence of light. That which does not exist cannot overcome that which exists. 7

The Hebrew script, is a consonantal system with 22 characters, as part of a family of alphabets, formalized around the same time as early Greek, with letters taking a varied form. For example, Resh, phonetically, equal to the ‘R‘, is similar to a lower case Roman ‘r‘, each letter with its own definition. One meaning of Resh is “poverty,” [Prov. 10:15]. Lucifer prospered at God’s Right Hand, but when this was not good enough for him, he became desolate in opposition to the Almighty, and was “plucked up” and cast away. Talk about a major “pluck up,” that has to be the biggest of all! This generally fits the narrative surrounding Job 38:12-15, as Lucifer was cast out of heaven, and rejected from his former angelic glory. [Isa. 14:12-20, Ezek. 28:12-19]

Next in the Hebrew alphabet we encounter the letter Bet. History tells us that Bet is one of seven “double letters,” each of which has two pronunciations, two meanings, as well as two applications: a positive, and negative. Since the 7 vowels of the 22 letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, function as both a vowel and a consonant, we find two immediate applications for these double letters. “They also have 2 possible sounds, but only 3 of the seven are retained in modern Hebrew. Three of the rest are apparently used only by a few, and the double of the remaining one, Resh, is said to have been lost, supporting the narrative above related to Job 38:12-15. The 7 “double letters” have either a “hard” or “soft” pronunciation. The hard pronunciation is indicated by Dagesh; a (dot) in the center of the letter. The 2-fold usage of these seven “double letters” in Ecc. 3:1-8 comprise 7 polarized sets, each portrayed by one of these “doubles,” forming a unique figure that could be classified as a specialized acrostic. Bet is itself a word meaning “within” and “house.” Metaphorically, it depicts a mouth, a house and the interior of man, symbolizing internalized action.” 8

This meaning for Bet, of the interior of man, implies human freewill choice, that results from internal deliberation, spoken into action externally. This relates not only to the 7 polarized sets [Ecc. 3], as people chose daily actions within the ranges of human activity reflected within these 14 pairs. Also, Bet as a “house,” is intriguing in light of the truth that these 7 stars; [Pleiades] are the angels of the 7 churches, since a church is considered the house of God, the dwelling place of His people, in the body of Christ, [Rev. 1:20, 1 Cor. 6:19-20]. As the figure above also relates not only to the 7 spirits of God, that reside before God’s Throne in Heaven, [Rev. 4:5] but also the 7 Old Testament manifestations of the spirit, as seen in Isa. 11:1-2 and Figure 4 below, reflected in the Menorah in the Earthly Temple and Tabernacle.

In Figure 4 below the Menorah with each of the three branches functioning as a double with each of the seven companion OT Manifestations of the Spirit that emerge from the Holy Spirit of the Lord, on each side of the Central Servant Branch. This center branch depicts Jesus Christ the Light of the World, as the suffering servant branch who enlightens the world, [Ps. 119:105, John 15:5].

The Menorah’s height excluding the lamps was also 17 handbreadths high [17 Tefachim+1 including the base] which also corresponds to the first 17 words of Numbers 1:1.

Leo Tavares tells us:
The Bible details in Exodus 25:31-35 how God commanded the Israelites to make a Menorah made of pure gold, which was a lampstand with 7 branches (a CENTER branch and 3 united pairs of branches). This Biblical passage consists of 324 Hebrew letters (or 18 × 18 letters). It follows that we can represent these Hebrew letters as an 18 × 18 Matrix. When we do this, we find that the Ordinal number values of the Hebrew letters form a perfect shape of a Menorah yielding a sum of 999: 10

As we compare this Ex. 25 text to the Standard word values of the 7 Hebrew words in Genesis 1:1 that also forms a perfect Menorah, we find some interesting parallels.

GENESIS 1:1 MENORAH

Genesis 1:1 = (913 + 203 + 86) + (401) + (395 + 407 + 296)

401 + (9 × 9 × 9) = (913 – 296) + (407 – 203) + (395 – 86)

Exodus 25:31-40

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. 32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: 33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. 34 And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers. 35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. 36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold. 37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it. 38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuff–dishes thereof, shall be of pure gold. 39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels. 40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Verse 37 indicates the purpose of the lamps of the Menorah, “that they may give light…’ It is noteworthy that this is the same purpose of the celestial luminaries stated in Genesis 1:14-16. Interestingly, the word for “lights” in the firmament [Gen. 1:14, 16: *H216–maor] is the same word used in reference to the lamps of the Menorah, (Exodus 20:27, 35:14). Moreover, the same Hebrew word that refers to the Menorah’s individual lamps, also refers to the individual celestial lights of the Sun and Moon in Gen. 1:16. Thus we have a perfect correspondence between the purpose not only of the individual celestial lights and each of the Menorah’s lamp’s, to shed light upon the Earth. The emphasis with a Sun-centered system is placed on the Light of God. God’s Light is the Source of Life on Earth, even as God is the Source of Light. The celestial lights support this order from the Hand of the Creator.

Genesis 1:14-16
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: [15] And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. [16] And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Since the same Hebrew words are used in reference to both the luminaries of the firmament and the lamp-stand of the Tabernacle, we are wise to notice the details of the Menorah’s celestial symbolism.

Here we find Biblical evidence in the Menorah regarding the Hebrew zodiac, structured as the earliest known heliocentric model, as seen in the Menorah Solar System, far ahead of Aristarchus of Samos
(270 BC), who was the first of the ancient Greeks to re-submit the idea of a Sun centered cosmos. With the Son of God and light of the world embodied in Jesus Christ as the central Servant Branch of the Menorah and Hebrew zodiac, we see the original roots for a Sun-centered solar system that Copernicus gets credit for, despite the position of antagonism in the Roman Catholic Church centuries after his death. This idea was first established with the Hebrew Menorah, [Ps. 19] that was structured on a celestial plan of the ancient solar system of seven planets, with luni-solar cycles and the Sun as the center candlestick [Rev.1:20], always enlightening the Earth with a heliocentric viewpoint.

Both Philo and Josephus were early observers who provided context for the Menorah’s rounded branches, associating them with larger astronomical concerns. This approach hearkens back to a link with the lamps of the lampstand and the planets that first appears with the prophet Zechariah already during the sixth century B.C., who described the five visible planets, and the Sun and the Moon, as the “eyes of YHWH:”

These seven are the eyes of YHWH, which range through the whole earth. [Zech. 4:18]

In (Figure 5.) below we see the first candlestick, or Menorah in the form of what James Strong has called a “stylized tree.” Strong gives his own description of Exodus 25:33 quoted below:

Ex. 25:33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.”

Strong’s geometric synopsis of this verse states:

“It will be perceived that each section of the semicircles of which these lines are the radii is composed of two members: the shank (a plain tube) and the bulb (or swell), and that each has a third part or base (a circular double flange, as a means of connection, hence an actual joint) only where it is united to a different kind of piece; i.e., at the bottom and top of the central shaft and of the six arms, including the intersections of the shaft with the arms.”11 [emphasis mine]

When we apply what we have already seen in the Biblical teaching of the Sun’s dual symbolism, to the Menorah, then it takes on a new light, associating the Sun not only with the solar system, but also the circular zodiac. The very structure of the Menorah shows its central shaft as the foundation of the candle, since it holds the main light as the centerpiece of the candlestick. All the branches of the candlestick are attached to the central shaft, even as they obtain their light from the main candle. This pattern is mirrored in the solar system as the planets and moons do not generate their own light, but reflect the light of the Sun, in their orbits. We find not only the order of the solar system reflected here but also that of the ecliptic in 12 Constellations. This is evident in the semi–circular pattern based on the pi ratio. By expanding on Strong’s analysis of the Menorah this comes to light. In Strong’s smaller geometric model of the Menorah, we note bulbs on the six branches of the candlestick that are projections of the central bulb, from whence all the radiating lines of the central light emanate. These projections of the central light on the six branches, (five naked eye planets and the Sun & Moon) depict how these luminaries reflect the Sun’s light in their individual orbits upon the Earth. This system shines light on the temporal periods and orbits of each naked-eye planet in our solar system, in relation to the Sun’s light. This is revealed first in the context of the mathematics of the 7×7=49 standard, a primary trait of light in Creator’s celestial order.

The symbolism of the candlestick also extends beyond our solar system to include the circle of 12 signs of the zodiac. Strong’s emphasis above on the geometric design of the Menorah, exhibits the Hebrew zodiac as in Genesis 49, with Jacob’s prophesies over his twelve sons. We should note that these lines noted by Strong as “the radii of the semi-circle,” reflecting the symbolic light of the world, if extended into a complete circle, the radii would divide it into 12 equal parts of 360 degrees of the circle according to the pi ratio. We can be safe in making this conceptual leap in the implied design of the Menorah, because we have already seen this pattern in the Temple pillars: Jachin and Boaz. This makes the Menorah the most complete piece of the furniture of the Temple and Tabernacle, acting as a celestial symbol of the structure of both our solar system and the zodiac. It is the most complete because it is the third aspect we have observed that utilizes the pi ratio, following on the great Brazen Sea and the Temple pillars. These aspects of The Celestial Symbolism of the Temple and Tabernacle utilize the pi ratio to depict the Hebrew calendar of 12 months of 30 days in the sacred 360-day year used by Noah. The Menorah goes beyond this, embracing the planets in a heliocentric model of the ancient solar system, long before the Greek Aristarchus of Samos proposed it in the second century BC.

The Menorah’s implicit use of the pi ratio incorporates the previous usage of this principle in the Brasen Sea and the Temple pillars, while adding the symbolism of the heliocentric solar system to these previous applications, all incorporated into a single model. This systematic usage of the Pi Ratio in the sacred furniture, altars and Pillars of the Temple and Tabernacle, are supported in the consistent application of this mathematical principle as illustrated above in the Pi mathematics of the circle as seen in the practical reckoning of Pi in the 22 letters and 7 vowels of the Hebrew Alphabet applied to the Menorah structure of [Genesis 1:1 and Isa. 44:6], that we saw related to the central number of 401 in Gen. 1:1, where the Circle with a circumference of 1259 units yields a diameter of 401 units, according to the Pi formula.

This consistent, orderly, progressive and systematic usage of the Pi ratio in the architecture and design of the Hebrew Temple and Tabernacle, and its sacred elements and furniture, illustrates the purposeful application of this advanced mathematical principle, far in advance of human science awareness or application. This shows the Word of the Almighty Creator as the true Source for these and other advanced mathematical and geometric concepts that were applied not only in Sacred Architecture, but in the Intelligent Design of all Creation itself. As we continue our quest to seek out and expand tangible scientific evidence of the awesome works at the Hand of our Creator and Heavenly Father, the distant thunder echoing in our ears will become an undeniable storm of cascading truths overwhelming any credible opposition, until the ultimate realization and witness of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of the Almighty Heavenly Father of Lights, to whom every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. The Sooner this realization comes, the greater benefit to the recipient.
